La pulizia scarsa e camera fatiscente con un paio di mutande da uomo dimenticate ad asciugare (per fortuna in balcone).La reception se così la si vuol chiamare.. in modo particolare è alquanto deprimente, una specie di garage sopraelevato con un ufficio-dormitorio e di fronte quella che viene definita cucina comune....ba bene che vanno considerati gli standard thai e il prezzo era conveniente...ma così è veramente da evitare.

A good stay overall.

Convenient place to stay for one night near the bus terminal. Bed was ok (I’ve found all mattresses quite hard in Thailand so this was no exception), spacious room, good en suite.

No complaints. Wouldn’t stay longer than a night because I don’t believe it’s that close to anything but as mentioned, handy for us for one night.

Nothing special, but we didn't expect anything more for a budget stay. The staff looked after us just fine, the room was clean, and there was plenty of amenities locally.

I was very happy with my stay here, elevator, small eateries close by, motor bike rental, comfy large room with fridge and kettle. Small balcony with sink.

Good for that price

The window needed to be repaired so it can be locked. There was no microwave, doors did not look very solid, no utensils, there was a waste water chamber lid that was not properly secured and my wife fell in and injured herself. The hotel did help to buy medication and take my wife to doctors, but we checked out early.

Host was very kind. Working AC, comfortable bed, white clean sheets and towels. Good bathroom. Overall modest but clean which we appreciated. Stayed for one night transiting through Phuket.

Furniture tops had many stains, probably from cups and drinks. Scarry at first sight but it's ok bc everything was clean and tidy

Room was cleaned and really spacious, Staff is nice and helpful also location of the hotel is near the bus terminal 2.

AJ Residence is a relatively new, or recently renovated apartment block. Everything in the room is very new. Spread over seven floors (with elevator) and plenty of covered parking options AJ Residence represents great value at around 500 baht per night (through Agoda). The WIFI works great, the AC is powerful and quiet and there are loads of power sockets in the room for charging devices. Tea/coffee making facilities are provided along with a decent sized fridge freezer. There is a great little work station area for setting up a PC and a large wardrobe for all of your belongings. The room generally is very spacious, bright and spotlessly clean. The bathroom is a good size and the shower water pressure and temperature good with no drainage problems. The area is a little quiet around the apartment but there are plenty of places to find food, and there is a Lotus and Supercheap around about a five-minute walk away. No entertainment to speak of within close proximity so if you are after a night out a cab would be required or self-transport. Overall AJ Residence represents great value for the budget conscientious or those looking for long term accommodation at a reasonable price.

The property was close to bus terminal 2 which was perfect for us. Room was huge, bright and clean. Bathroom was great, always a bonus in Asia when the shower is separate from the rest of the bathroom.

Although we seemed to have the largest rooms they were facing the road which was quite loud. Not a problem with earbuds.

the fridge wasn’t clean, the bed was very hard, there were lizards in the bathroom (we didn’t mind them), walls must be thin as could hear next door. Its okay as a base you don’t plan to spend time at, its around 15 mins from phuket old town by taxi which varies on cost depending on time of day (120 - 650 baht in our experience). Was a littlr disappointed here!

It was a little on the noisy side. Sidewalks in the area are very uneven, and sometimes nonexistent.

Spacious clean rooms within walking distance of the bus station.

I had to change rooms because the smell in the rooms is something unacceptable, it smells of humidity, I know they have nothing to do with it. But when you have an allergy, it's very difficult. So I visited three rooms before finding one where it smelled more or less better.

The staff are very accommodating, even staying back late to receive us when our flight was delayed. Very much appreciated!

We stayed just for one night for several hours. The bedroom was ok for the price. Quiet. Not far from the Bus Terminal 2.

Water in the shower was cold.

View is great on Level 7. The room is clean. We will stay again if we come to Phuket. Thank you for taking care of us.

For the price this was a good room for a few days. It was clean, the staff gave us extra pillows upon request, and they even changed the bed mattress for a softer one. The only drawback is that the bathroom window is always open without the option to close it. This allows for more noise to be heard. This is annoying especially at night.

Everything was wonderful, authentic area too, lovely bed, balcony, shower, fridge and ac. Close to bus terminal 2 if you’re going to Bangkok or the islands.

We loved staying here because it was not in a real touristy area. We walked down the street and found Son Coffee .. a delightful little local restaurant. Great Pad Thai. AJs was very comfortable and the view from the 7th floor balcony was out to the sea and islands as well as the local shops. Recommended for those who want an urban experience.

La chambre est grande et spacieuse mais le lit était trop dure pour mon dos. J'avais réservé une chambre avec un petit salon mais ces chambres se trouvant à proximité de la rue ou il y a beaucoup de trafic, j'ai demandé à ce que l'on me fournisse une chambre la plus éloignée de la route même si celle ci n'avait pas de salon. Ce que l'on m'a fourni sans problème. J'ai vu seulement des Thaïlandais dans cet hôtel un peu retiré, mais comme j'avais une motocyclette cela ne m'a pas posé de problème pour me déplacer. Il y a un grand magasin Big C à environ 1 kilomètres de cet hôtel avec un KFC et d'autres commerce à proximité. La douche est chaude mais le jet d'eau est un peu saccadé. La blacon est très petit mais il y a un éviter et deux barre pour pendre son linge mouillé ainsi qu'une machine à laver au rez de chaussée au niveau de la réception qui est très chaleureuse. J'y suis resté 6 jours et seul un soir vers 2 heures du matin des clients ont fait du bruit pendant une petite demie heure. Plusieurs chaines de télévision en anglais et des films internationaux mais je n'ai pas vu TV 5 monde. La lumiure est conséquente mais trop faible aussi je laissais la porte de la salle de bain ouverte avec les deux ampoules allumées pour rendre l'atmosphère plus chaude et sereine.

La chambre est grande et confortable mais le lit est assez dure. Il est préférable de demander une chambre la plus éloignée possible de la route à l'opposé car il y a beaucoup de circulation routière et c'est parfois très bruyant avec les grosses cylindrées ( motocyclettes ). Plusieurs chaines de télévision avec de la neige. AJ Résidence n'est pas reconnu par google maps qui trouve seulement AJ Presidence. Il faut consulter le mail d'hotels.com confirmation la réservation puis cliquer sur la carte routière se trouvant sur ce mail pour accéder normalement à google maps pour cet hotel. J'ai galéré deux fois en cinq jours pour retrouver mon hotel la nuit car parfois gmail.com ne veut pas fonctionner en dehors de l'hôtel. Hôtel calme la nuit sauf une fois pendant dix minutes à 2 h 00 du matin avec un couple. L'eau de la doute est saccadée mais chaude et le débit moyen. Les serviettes sont de bonne qualité. Un coca cola m'a été offert lors de mon arrivée en plus des deux bouteilles d'eau Nesté tous les jours fournies gracieusement.
