The Pecan Tree Guesthouse

Big room and desk

Heater wasn't working propeely

Location was perfect, the staff were so accommodating and friendly

Linda casa, muito confortável, com vaga para o carro. Bairro residencial muito tranquilo e seguro.

Breakfast was good.

Very clean and peaceful

I absolutely loved staying at Pecan Tree Guest House and would honestly rate it 10 out of 10. The rooms are spacious, with very comfortable beds, and modern bathroom furnishings. Each room leads onto a wonderful, well kept large garden, with pool - really feels like home from home. The rooms serviced and cleaned every day, the breakfasts are sumptuous, and the venue is absolutely quiet during night and day. Pamela and her team are friendly hosts and very very attentive to your needs. I have stayed in many guest houses and can honestly say the value for money is unbeatable.

Breakfast was delicious especially their omelette, with excellent location

If maybe they can offer buffet breakfast

Responsive host, spacious and very clean room with renovated bathroom, and nice grounds with splendid lawns. Easy check-in and check-out, ample parking space and a complete breakfast.

The room itself could do with a fresh lick of paint and smelled slightly musty when we entered (which disappeared once the heater was on). The heater was barely enough for the cold winter evenings. Still waiting for an invoice (requested shortly after booking).

Breakfast was delicious and the location suited my needs. I liked the privacy of my room and the bed was very comfortable.

I would have liked that there was a hairdryer in the room. The room was very cold as the wall heater did not really heat the room and the portable heater was noisy. None of these things however would prevent me from booking here again.

Pamela is an extremely accommodating, wonderful host. Our stay was good. Breakfast was good and an all round pleasant experience.

Heating. The weather was extremely cold. A bigger heater would have been perfect.

The reception was good. The 2 rooms I had booked were comfortable and very clean. Our special requests were accommodated.

Nothing

The Ommilette 😋😋😋😋, their proffessionalism. I love the garden it's refreshing

Nothing!

Loved the heaters in the room and the shower always had hot water.

Consider putting a block under the door to prevent cold there from coming in in the cold season like this.

Bom no geral gostei da estadia, apenas na parte no pequeno almoco, onde so tinha tres pratos contantes.

Gostei do quarto e da Limpeza.

Everything

Limited option of breakfast

Comfortable, clean, good breakfast, cot was available, enough space for all of us

geyser could be hotter but otherwise no complaints

Perfect

Only issue gate opening . Otherwise perfect

Caring and friendly service..I had forgotten my cellphone charger at home and they gave a charger to use during my stay. I also liked how spacious my room was.

When the weather changed, heaters and hot water bottles were provided before we even got cold! 100% thank you.

The trees and flowers was my first love very refreshing..its quiet and in convinience location.

Parking area not bad but not a same standard as the place.

The room was spacious

Water from the bath was cold, the fridge wasn’t clean, cupboards weren’t really clean . There was no air conditioner/ heater

It was clean, quiet and well organised

Nothing

There was a very strong perfume scent that was just bothering for me with my allergies/sensitivities

The staff The big room with fridge/freezer,the garden, the cleanliness, the breakfast

Woke up with a little lizard in the bed-not sure they can do anything to prevent them from getting into the rooms

A neat and clean place Cleaning the room and change of towels daily were greatly appreciated. Pamela and Maria were very friendly and supportive and provided a great service to us. We had breakfast which was a great start to the day.. The guesthouse was close to Sandton Medi Clinic and this was very convenient for us.

There should be other options for breakfast for those that dont eat pork or beef. Also Include some fresh fruit or fruit salad. We stayed at the studio apartment. The kitchenette is outdated and needs to have a proper dinner and cutlery set.. the pan needs to be replaced The shower door needs adjustment as its difficult to open.. Other than that.. it was a good stay.

The staff were very friendly and willing to assist. It was a generally good stay.

The bath water wasn't as hot as expected in the room we were in, or took a while to heat up maybe.

The breakfast is really good!

Highly recommend The Pecan Tree for anyone visiting JHB . The staff were most helpful from the moment I arrived, The location is perfect. The amenities were exactly as described, and the Wi-Fi was fast, The breakfast was amazing . Excellent value for money and Mrs Pamela went over and above to make me feel welcomed

Room was great, bathroom was modern and clean, easy access and great central location! :)

Shower was cold in the morning, coffee catered for 2 not 3, the couch in the room is dirty. Breakfast is served till 9am we missed that :(

Convenient accommodation for my 3-day business trip. Quiet and spacious. Friendly team.

Just a problem with the Free Wi-Fi - I had to use my own hotspot (this was not great either).

The location was perfect and the scenery great

Lovely and spacious room, very comfortable bed, modern bathroom, relaxing coaches. Everything you need. Garden beautiful and well-maintained. Situated in a quiet neighborhood, away from the hustle & bustle. I will gladly return.

I have nothing but compliments

Love everything about the place.

Nothing to complain about.

Great value fir money. Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff. Beautiful Well manicured garden.

The breakfast was excellent and everything was neat and tasty. The room is such a pleasure. Very clean and spacious. Bed was great. The microwave, kettle and Coffe/Tea was a bonus I was quite surprised when I entered the premises and the room. Gardens so beautiful with a view from the dining room. And the room tasty and classy.

People were visiting outside and it was very noisy. There was nothing on the tv I could watch. All wanted codes or passwords.

It was clean & neat but unfortunately I only stayed 1 night as my mother was ill & came out of hospital, so I had to go & stay with her to look after her.

Parking was far away from my room. Did not like the position of my room right at the entrance to the property.

There was not much vairity on breakfast it would be nice to change the menu for each day or have buffet breakfast...

Parking Parking Parking And also the staff actually waking me uo to make my bed,she even touched my foot and said wake up i wana refresh the room...when m on holiday m there to rest and i want to wake up when i feel like it

I had a wonderful stay and amazing breakfast

Very comfortable and safe, I felt at home. The ladies are very welcome and nice. Very convenient because I had to be at mediclinic early in the morning. I loved the bathroom so much 👌👌 I loved the breakfast area, it was nice and very cool . I loved the furniture, beautiful wood.

The breakfast was just ok...please consider adding some fresh fruit.

The yard is big & spacious. There's a pool as well. Very quiet neighborhood, peaceful. Maria is very helpful. Decent breakfast as well, fresh.

Putting a can of Doom in the rooms close to the pool would be great as there might be mosquitoes that get in the rooms

Everything was 100%. I will visit them again.

I don't know because everything was perfect.

Breakfast was good

N/A

Maria and Pamela was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was suburb, best omlet we ever tasted.

Nothing

Breakfast was vreat and location was good. I had to be at Sandton Mediclinic which was literally 5minutes away. I would definitely recommend.

Centrally situated to Bryanston High School and St. Stithians College

I would have preferred to be closer to my car and main house.

Breakfast was great nice selection and well presented

some of the outside was run down - walking round to the car port in the pouring rain in mud and slush not the best

Good surroundings and very helpful staff. Comfortable. Good WiFi

All well

Breakfast provided. Lovely garden. Position convenient for a family wedding nearby. Across the road.

Nothing

Not as expected.

All well

Belles chambres, beau cadre, personnels sympathiques
