The room was warm, clean and comfortable.
The front of the hotel needs freshly painted in a brighter colour....its not very welcoming looking.
Room clean, bed comfortable, had everything i needed.
Didn't have breakfast. Shame the hotel doesn't serve food in the evenings.
Amazingly comfortable. Slept like a baby. Loved this place overall.
Staff humourless. In scheme of things this isnt important. Overall I can recommend this as as a place to stay wholeheartedly.
Location in centre of Jedburgh
Such friendly and obliging staff Good parking, very clean room and good room service. Concerned that we enjoyed breakfast
Somewhere in Bathroom to put my bathroom bag, bottles and toothbrush please. Dining Chairs and bedroom curtains needed attention
Gute Lage
Heerlijk verblijf.
Niets.
Large bedroom, big bed.
No bar.
Room was well equipped with large comfortable bed, very large bathroom, very clean and quiet. Breakfast was very good.
The town of Jedburgh is very quiet and few pubs and eateries in the evening. Although the Abbey is well worth seeing.
Locatie. Ruime kamers
Sober en doelmatig
Great central location with free parking right next to the hotel. Room was clean and bed was really comfortable.
Check in wasn’t available until 3pm and only a tiny notice on the closed door to tell us that. It looked like the hotel was not open when we arrived.
Location is good, staff very friendly and helpful, breakfast was good and the place is clean and well managed.

Jedburgh une étape à découvrir : calme mais sympa. Etablissement à l'ancienne mais agréable.
L'attitude du personnel d'accueil (enfin, si l’on peut dire)
Location
Sleepless night in room 14 Due to the extraction fan for the room in loft area Far too noisy Have a lot of work around town will not stay there again shame really
Excellent location, spotlessly clean, helpful staff and great night's sleep.
Nothing at all.
Excellent
Slight odour of damp in the en suite
Alles sehr stimmig
Keinerlei Kritik
Absolutely amazing staff clean food brilliant
Very clean
Excellent breakfast cooked to order. Good location and plenty of free parking in the nearby public car park.
All good
Central location. Clean and comfortable. Boot room.
Établissement simple et bien placé
Le personnel de réception pourrait parfois être plus aimable
It was right in the middle of Jedburgh. It is pretty close to the Free Car Park off that you will see as you turn off the A68.
A wonderfully quaint hotel, the room was good and the breakfast was excellent. A great host who seemed to do everything from check in to breakfast.
Not a hotel issue just surprised at Jedburgh. For a warm sunny Sunday evening it was like a ghost town, no life to it at all.
Very clean friendly and spacious rooms
Nothing
Location
Staff shockingly unfriendly, very small rooms. Mattress was broken! Had to ask for a new one, brought by disgruntled staff member, offered no apology. Stain on blanket. Damp on wall. Very unhelpful staff and no friendly greeting. Found it a very uncomfortable atmosphere and uncomfortably small room. For the price I expected much more. Will not stay again. Very disappointed as Jethart hospitality has always been world class. Previous owners much better. A terrible stay.
It was very central to the town of Jedburgh. The room was comfortable. The member of staff who welcomed us was very helpful and friendly
It needs a bit of TLC
Central location.
Good location
Boot room for wet boots had no heat or air circulation so no way to dry out boots and trail shoes… Just paper isn’t enough if really wet…
Friendly arrival and good sized comfortable room
Situated in the heart of the town. Staff very friendly and welcoming. breakfast was excellent. Rooms were large and clean.
Nice hotel, friendly staff very helpful.Good breakfast
Nothing
Right in the centre of town and clean and simple
It was all good
Large comfy room and clean.Good location to explore the area.
Very limited and tight parking at the hotel itself but free parking very close by.
Value for money, friendly staff excellent breakfast
We had a family room it was spacious and beautifully furnished and very clean with a lovely bathroom with a large walk in shower! Delicious breakfast too! The staff were so friendly and accommodating

Perfect after a long days walk.
Great staff who helped us book for meals and were very friendly
The hotel met all our requirements

Staff were very helpful and location was good.
Hotel is very tired and quite basic.
breakfast was very good and a lovely person cooking and serving, room served its purpose and everything you needed and clean, just got a little warm as there was no ventilation so got a little stuffy. no dinner option, but we had a take away and the staff provided plates and cutlery so we could eat downstairs at the hotel, as no food allowed in rooms, such a nice touch, Chinese was a cross the road and that was good to.
nothing but if i was being picky it was the room getting a little warm.
Enjoy the location rooms fresh and clean. Breakfast was lovely We have had several visits in the past Lady serving Breakfast was pleasant and helpful
.
Helpful and friendly staff. Nice spacious room, comfy bed. Wonderful breakfast.
All good
The room was lovely and very spacious. The front desk employee, Dale, was so helpful with restaurants, transport and just her hospitality.
Large rooms good breakfast friendly waiting staff
The whole experience is very self service
Clean bedroom
Decor, service and food from the 1970s. Useless shower. Sticky tables at breakfast. Rubber scrambled egg. No evening meal
Spacious room in an old building which probably needs some refurbishing. Staff quite friendly.
No lifts meant we had to carry the suitcases to the second floor.
Staff very helpful
No conditioner or hot chocolate in the room.
The property is actually better than it looks on booking .com.
Reception closes early and a late arrival is not appreciated
Bon hôtel d’étape. Propre, chambre spacieuse et bien équipée. Personnel agréable.
Convenient location, clean and comfortable, big room for 3 people.
No dinner option
Bar opened later than 9pm
Bars closed 9pm
Comfortable bed and room . The staff were very helpful but, it was clear that they were understaffed. The breakfast was disappointing due to the shortage of staff.
Friendly welcome and interactions with members of staff. Lovely breakfasts.
Central and v comfortable Great shower The manager Asanta extremely helpful
The lady running the hotel was excellent, friendly, efficient, helpful and very friendly and welcoming.
The staff were excellent so friendly and helpful
Price was a bit high, the bed was advertised as a double but was 2 singles put together which wasn't the most comfortable
Clean functional room
No bar, no restaurant, and no staff, it's just a room. Pleasant girl gave us the room key and said if you want to eat there is one bar in town.. it was a ghost town and we nearly didn't get to eat at all
Good location, ok value for money
A bit dated and basic
Lovely friendly place to stay
Perfect for a work stay - stayed several times whilst working in the area Rooms comfortable and staff pleasant
Warm welcome. Comfy and clean room. Nice breakfast.
Comfiness of the bed .nice big room .clean and bright 🌞 ✨️
Warm welcome from proprietors who were very helpful and obliging - happy to go the extra mile Very neat clean comfortable room with excellent sound insulation - we didn't hear anything from inside or outside the building Good breakfast Secure overnight storage for our bikes A historic building which has been sensitively modernised throughout
Nothing to complain about the hotel itself but evening food options in Jedburgh seem to be very limited these days
Great value for money; good location, very clean, spacious, friendly staff.

Super nette Betreiber und ein sehr schönes, sauberes und hochwertiges Zimmer. Parken ist kostenfrei in der Umgebung möglich und wir konnten sogar unsere Fahrräder unterstellen.
Lovely warm room. Comfy bed. Slept really well. Clean. Lovely breakfast.
Freezing cold bathroom, no heater, heated towel thing not working. Didnt use the shower due to bathroom being so cold.
Good breakfast
Very good location to shops and facillities. Hotel is very clean, with large comfortable beds and exvellent breakfast. The staff are very pleasant, friendly and have good onformation on local events and places of interest. We have stayed here a couple of times, and will definately return.
Room was a good size. Staff were very pleasant. Good location. Free parking. Breakfast was OK. Excellent large bed.
The bathroom lacked hooks and shelves. For a very small outlay it could have been made perfect. Very odd opening times.
good location
no lift but helpful porter / Owner
Good central location
Hotel not serving breakfast at all till next week
It was warm and homely
Very soft bed.
Spacious room size
A very clean, comfy and welcoming hotel! We slept very well and it was lovely and quiet too. We had a very friendly welcome, and the boot drying room was welcome too.
It wasn't clear whether there was breakfast available/included in the room - it wasn't, and the hotel cafe wasn't open. This wasn't a big problem, as there were nice cafes on the high street nearby.
Location
No replacement hot drinks. milk and biscuits or breakfast option.
Bedroom was comfortable
Website is inaccurate. Main door is locked until 2.58pm so you cannot access the hotel. Reception is only manned from 3-8pm. Temperature in Reception was cold and we were told heating was not on in the rooms as housekeeping turn off in the morning we would need to put on the radiator ourselves if we wanted a warm room. There is no breakfast offered in “winter months” staff at reception were abrupt and demanded payment as we walked in the door. Shower was underpowered and the base is incredibly slippy and the room looked neglected. The whole “vibe” of this hotel is in it for the money & hostel not hotel.
It was in a good location, I received a very warm welcome and the room was spacious and spotless.
As it was low season, there was no catering available.
