Motel 6-Sudbury, ON

We werer given a huge sized room, not professionally renovated, but we liked it. The location was on highway easy for us to get to the provincial parks.

Not close to the town, restaurants, and stores, but it's convenient to get to the provincial parks. Get an elevator when you get the chance.

Very friendly staff. Room very clean and with all the amenities. Front seat staff recommend an excellent Restaurant within walking distance. Breakfast was very good.

Reasonably priced room that accepted a pet without any extra charge. Location was on a major artery so easy to get anywhere in Sudbury.

Compared to other Motel 6 locations, this one was slightly sub-par in terms of amenities and decor.

I do appreciate the motel allowing for payment on arrival.

Please note:I attempted to get the motel's phone number on the internet.. through my cell-phone.Both the 2 numbers so available were,in fact,for booking angencies, not for the motel itself.Also, both the latter numbers connected to machines,not human beings.I am 81 years old.Such set-ups are:NOT.PLEASANT.I only got :the actual motel's, phone number on enquiring in person once arrived. While the motel is accessible,without a car,through Sudbury City bus transport and the Sudbury Gova taxi service,affordable,it is a bit out of the way(without a car).

Under renovation will be lovely when complete, and well located for what we needed. Dog friendly at no extra cost and accommodating staff.

Room could have used more decor definitely a bit bland but maybe the reno isn’t finished. A sheer curtain would have been nice to let in light but preserve privacy. Better lighting would be good.

The coffee in the morning was pretty good

The room was dirty the pillow cases had stains on them, the shower had hair in it and the outside smelled like raw sewage was dumped on the yard.

Some form of breakfast would have been nice, as, no restaurant close by.

The location is perfect as I was traveling to SautlSte Marie..right on highway. Didn't try the breakfast.

They are still improving the building so I could not park by my room.

The ac was extremely loud. Then there was a constant whining/ringing noise even when the ac was off. The communal areas were extremely dirty. Built up kind of dirt.

This motel six was terrible. I think the bad mattress must’ve been the cheapest thing they could’ve bought. You could feel all the springs on there was no coffee in the room. There was nothing. I think. It seemed like they weren’t ready to open yet. I won’t stay there ever again.

Room clean, without smell. Room big enough. Bed clean. A/C cold.Two doors, one to access outside and one to access inside. One ceiling lamp and two bed lamps. Easy access to electricity socket from bed. Enough parking lots.

Location is a little far from city center. WIFI has a little delay. Bed mattress is thin and not elastic enough. No tub in bathroom is ok, but no small platform on the wall for soap and shampoo and had to bend to grab them from ground🙃. Night in July, lots of mosquitoes, haha. Mosquito spray with DEET is necessary.

Inexpensive room. Somewhat spartan but it did the job for a single night stay. Bonus: they are dog friendly.

Location was on the outskirts of Sudbury so you have to drive to shopping, restaurants, etc.

The room was just Ok for the money. Two tired fisherman looking to get some rest. Didn'r serve breakfast.

The motel is doing renovations - the.building was a mess as was the room. The staff were wonderful.

The whole property was a mess - renovations happening. The room was just okay - nothing spectacular. Flooring was poorly installed. Very disappointed considering the reviews I read before booking.

Look at the pics. No one around. Waited 10 minutes for someone to show up. No breakfast.

we realized that the place was under construction which did not bother us at all. Our complaint focuses on the heater unit....it kept switching over to air conditioning. We had it turned to low heat because the room was very cold when we arrived. The heater was loud and functioning poorly.

Far from the hustle and bustle of the city and tranquility

The cleanliness and the lack of a kettle or coffee machine mean it's not worth the price.

Loved the fact in was right on the hwy and snowmobile trail. Super easy access.

For the price, could have included a continental breakfast instead of just coffee.

The amount of towels supplied they only put one of everything in the room. Lucky I take some of my own washcloths and bath towels

I thought that the staff we're very friendly and accommodating. The complimentary coffee in the morning was also a huge bonus!

There was no breakfast. Only coffee and tea.

No bathtub. Outside door was not well fitted/sealed- you could see light coming through the edges - in the winter that would be bad. The cheap flooring was of questionable quality. Riad sude room was far from soundproof. I would have oreferred a room in the backside of the hotel.

The deadbolt on the door to the hallway wouldn’t work so I only had the latch to secure the door at night

They decorated lovely for Christmas-it made the place feel very welcoming! Conveniently located just off the highway so you don't have to drive into the City, which was great for us as we had a truck with a trailer attached as well as a car. Lots of parking. Friendly staff indeed!!!

It’s right on the highway, so no need to travel into Sudbury.

Bed was not comfortable, it is a low grade box spring. Bring an extra blanket, as they provide a very light cover.

The bathroom was nice and late check-in available. The location is convinient if you're passing by.

The bed didn't have the proper comforters for winter. The employee at check-out was asking for additional money despite showing multiple proof of the booking value. The drinking water was not very clean.

Checking in was very smooth and easy. Staff was excellent.

I believe they are fixing the place but it was very expensive for what it is and get room was big but not clean from the bathroom I could hear kids playing next door but we were so tired had a shower and slept

Not clean room I understand they are still fixing the place but for the money they charge it is not good I won’t stay again there … there is not even a coffee maker in the room :(
