Good location on edge of city

We have stayed at this hotel many times over the past few years. The hotel is very convenient to driving, with not needing to drive through the city off the highway. There is ample parking for anyhone towing a trailer. This room was much better than a room we had just a week previous. We found an issue with the table about to fall apart due to missing bolts securring the legs. When it was reported to the front desk, they had a maintenance person come to the room within 10 minutes to tighten all the bolts. This was fast service. The provided hot breakfast was as expected, and slightly different than when we stayed at this hotel just a week before. Staff were very friendly and we felt welcomed to the hotel by them.

The bolts holding the legs onto the desk desk were so loose or missing that it felt the desk was going to fall over. If they wiped the table when cleaning the room, there is no way the cleaning staff could miss how wobbly and insecure it was. I would expect the cleaning staff to report this problem so that it was not an issue for the next customer (like us). One leg bolt was actually laying on the carpet, which could not be missed if the area was vacuumed. It was an easy fix that took just 5 minutes with the right tool. The hotel has 2 elevators. One has been out of service, apparently for some time, as it was not working just a week prior.

Freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, geräumiges und sauberes Zimmer, gutes WLAN. Parkplätze ausreichend und direkt vor dem Hotel. Aber das Frühstück war kärglich, die Rühreier geschmacklos, es gab nichts Frisches, alles verpackt, Plastik- oder Einwegbesteck und Teller. Abräumen heißt dann alles in den Mistkübel.

breakfast could have been better. from the reviews, I was expecting the above average hotel breakfast. hot breakfast bar was not hot, sausage overcooked. not a big selection for breakfast, next to no gluten free options.

Room in disrepair , price too high for quality of room

The location was good and had ample parking space.

The staff could have been kinder and gentler during check-in and check-out. They either seemed more focused on the work than on the person in front of them, or anxious to get me out of the way, or was the Canadian gentleness waning away? Breakfast: options were decent, but the disposable cutlery was so out of step with current norms of environmental friendliness and eating comfort.

Unfortunately 1 of the 2 elevators was out of service, so it slowed getting to/from the room.

The ladies at the front desk were wonderful and very helpful. It was such a pleasure to be greeted and treated nicely upon arrival.

The breakfast seating area filled up quickly but the staff kept it clean so once it cleared out we were able to sit comfortably.

Room 313 Good shower, clean, breakfast ok. Good fridge & freezer. Good linens. Ok exercise room (basics but small).

Room 313: loud scraping noise above us starting around 5am. Breakfast ok but missing non-fat options (cheese omelette, no egg alternatives). Good bed but did wake with pressure point pain but husband was happy. Pillows were a bit hard.

We had beds that were poorly made up and looked like someone had been sitting on them. We had no cups for the coffee machine and no cups in the bathroom. We called the front desk and asked to have some sent up and were told we would have to come to the front desk to get some

Breakfast was excellent! Great variety of food and drinks. The indoor pool was clean and great to use during our stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The toilet seat didnt stay up. Other then that, everything was great.

The hotel was clean, quiet, and in a convenient location with plenty of parking. The staff were friendly, and the complimentary breakfast had a good variety with everything well stocked.

The room felt very damp, and there was a noticeable musty smell and black spores in the shower that made us concerned about possible mold. For the price we paid, we expected a much fresher, better-maintained room, and the overall condition did not feel like good value.

Very quick sign in and room keys. Very pleasant staff at the front. Room was really nice. It was very quiet too !!! Bonus!!

I didn’t like the fact that the room came with two complimentary waters until I realized they weren’t complimentary. I called front desk and was informed I had to pay for them… very petty.! The eggs in the morning were not edible. The coffee had run out. We talked to staff about this however they had more coffee started. A bit of a wait for that.

Food in breakfast bar was not good -eggs awful. Oatmeal was slop and patties were gross. I ate peanut butter toast cause everything else was yucky. Even coffee wasn’t very great.

We arrived late in the evening after a long day of travel and were disappointed to find our room felt extremely damp..the carpets actually felt wet, and there was mold in the bathroom. We asked to switch rooms, and while the staff were very accommodating, the second room had similar dampness and the air conditioning wasn't working. We tried a third room on another floor, which was only marginally better. By that point, we were exhausted and just needed somewhere to sleep. I would suggest the hotel consider installing dehumidifiers and improving ventilation, particularly with exhaust fans in the bathrooms, as the moisture throughout the hotel was very noticeable. We didn't use the pool, but we did look at it the next morning and the water was very cloudy, which gave the impression that maintenance may not be keeping up. On the positive side, the beds and pillows were comfortable, the complimentary breakfast had a good selection, and the front desk staff were friendly and genuinely tried to help us throughout our stay. Overall, while we appreciated the service, the condition of the rooms didn't match the price we paid. Unfortunately, based on our experience, we would probably choose to stay somewhere else the next time we're in Sudbury.

We could not use the water, so no shower, needing bottled water to brush our teeth, however the bottled water in the room was not free, $2 charge. Would think under circumstances, a couple bottles of water would be provided gratis.

Hampton Inn by Hilton in Sudbury is just what you expect from this brand anywhere in North America. A large corporate hotel with no surprises. It is an easy short drive from Trans-Canada Highway (Highway 17). There is a large free parking. A short walk across parking lots takes you to a selection of eateries. There is a gym and indoor pool. Lifts to all floors. 24 hour reception. Rooms have fast WiFi, microwave, coffee maker, fridge and AC which provides heat too. Efficient, courteous check in. Breakfast buffet was extensive and rapidly replenished. Hot and cold options. Everything was clean and tidy. The room was large and beds comfortable. Good quality toiletries. Adequate soft towels. Quiet night's sleep. Reasonable price for Hilton members.

Everything was good, my family really enjoyed it. Only thing I’d recommend is bacon and regular scrambled eggs for the breakfast but other than that we had a really good stay thank you!
