Einfach alles. Personal war sehr freundlich . Zimmer waren super sauber.

Die Lage ist nicht zu überbieten. Zentraler kann man in Mainz kaum wohnen. Das Gebäude selbst ist eine Augenweide und dazu noch ein direkter Ausblick auf den Fastbachtsbrunnen. In der Wohnung fehlt es an nichts.

Durch die direkt darunter liegende Kneipe ist es nicht gerade leise.

Die Lage, osteiner Hof am Schiller Platz ist top

Schimmel in der Dusche, Bad grundsätzlich schlecht durchdacht

Ein Bett mit 1,60 m ist was für junge Liebespaare. Gestandene Männer knapp unter 100 kg können so nicht komfortabel schlafen, zumal es für ein „ erwachsenes „ Bett Platz hätte….

L’edificio sicuramente ha il suo fascino. L’appartamento era perfetto, provvisto di tutto, pulito e ben organizzato. Il contesto eccellente. Posizione centrale permette di muoversi tranquillamente a piedi. La struttura offre un parcheggio interno molto comodo ma va prenotato. Staff all’accoglienza impeccabile!

Alle finestre mancavano gli scuri o delle tende idonee.

De ligging was perfect en het gebouw is prachtig

Wij misten echt een airconditioning, maar dit wisten we natuurlijk wel van tevoren. Het gordijn was te klein voor het raam en bij het dichtdoen viel de rails naar beneden, dit werd gemaakt maar hier moesten we 10 euro voor betalen.

Fantastic location—walkable to all of the main tourist sites. The manager was great at communicating and was quick to respond to our questions. We liked the secured parking option. They did have Netflix access on the TV, which we appreciated.

We happened to be there during a very hot week, and the building doesn’t have air conditioning. We did request an extra fan. And they brought it up right away. I didn’t really care for the layout of the space with more than 2 people. We were traveling with our adult daughter and she was put on a sofa bed that I think was meant to be the living room. I was hoping for 2 bedrooms plus a living room and that was not the case. So there wasn’t really a space for us all to hang out together in.

Nice welcome by the host who was very firendly, great location in the middle of the city and the private parking was good to have.

No aircon in the room (room 12) , it was super hot and the windows faced the street with tram, bus, bars and loud people passing. Very uncomfortable. Room was also smaller than we thought/was shown on the website, seems an extra bed was put in for the 3rd person as the table and chair were outside in the hallway. Kitchen was equipped for 2, not 3 which we reserved for. Parking was for a fee (25 Euro) which was not stipulated when booking.

la posizione è eccezionale rispetto al centro storico nella piazza di fronte quando siamo arrivati un venerdì di luglio c'era la festa dei produttori locali di vino, ottima occasione per assaggiare i vini e sentirsi un pò autoctoni, consiglio vivamente di informarsi sulle date dell'evento.

Besondere Unterkunft in Mainz für Altstadt Liebhaber. Wir hatten als Familie.einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt. Das Auto könnten wir im Innhof parken, aber der Bahnhof ist nicht weit, zu Fuß oder 2 Haltestellen mit der Straßenbahn. Wunderbare Lokale in der Nähe, alles sehr zentral. Wir hatten zwei Schlafzimmer, gesellige Küche, Bad, Toilette getrennt.

Clean and comfortable, good value for money

The hotel was absolutely beautiful. The garden patio well kept and manicured. The room was clean, had all the amenities I needed and the location was fabulous. All shops, restaurants, and bars were in walking distance. Train station very close by. Marco was very accommodating, friendly, courteous and patient with all my little tedious worries. I would definitely recommend the Osteiner Hof as a place to stay.

There was nothing I didn’t like

Well appointed apartment in a stunning, centrally located building.

The apartment was unbearably, hot: no ventilation, even in the bathroom and kitchen. The only option is to open the windows which means it is very noisy due to the pub and tram line.

Es war am Hitzewochenende bei 39° leider sehr sehr warm, trotz bereitgestelltem Ventilator.

There were ants all over the room. I sent MULTIPLE videos to the property manager who had messaged me for checkin. Though they offered another room, it was in the same building, where there were also ants in the hallway and reception, so we could not stay there. We were in the room for less than an hour. The property manager confirmed receipt of my several videos, said he completely understood why we were leaving, and gave us instructions on how to return the keys. We then left. I requested a refund. Then, the property accused me of lying about the ants, refused my request for a reasonable refund, and then completely ignored me when I tried to provide proof of my claims (I asked for an email address to send them proof videos of the ants.) DO NOT STAY HERE!!! It is NOT clean, and they are extremely rude and unprofessional!

It is right in the center of the city, so no car is necessary.

Like most German hotels and vacation rentals, there is no air conditioning. There was a heat wave during our stay, with temperatures reaching the upper 90s. The staff provided fans which was very helpful.

Staff was exceptional. He went above and beyond what I expected. Rooms and hotel was magnificent. The location was perfect.

Es war super. Besonders aufgefallen ist uns das nette Personal, welches uns extra noch ein Babybett und einen Kinderhochstuhl gebracht hat. Herzlichen Dank dafür!

The host was very friendly, check-in process was easy, I was able to check-in early.

The room we were assigned was a small studio which would have been small for even a single traveller-tiny, claustrophobic room not displayed in any photos on booking sites.No couch, desk, sitting area as booked-unfunctional table and chairs as they were jammed against the wall with no ability to relocate or sit at them. Sheets torn in several places. View of a black brick wall.

We reisden met 3 volwassenen en werden in eerste instantie in een studio geplaatst (1 tweepersoonsbed en een bijzet bed) wat wel krap was met z'n 3en. Het appartement was wel erg schoon en mooi en goed voorzien. De host heeft ons toen geupgrade naar een appartement met 2 aparte slaapkamers, een geweldige service. We zouden dit verblijf zeker aanraden.

De locatie was voortreffelijk. In het centrum en op loopafstand van restaurants, ook voor ontbijt, de rijn en de meeste bezienswaardigheden. Het ov was op 2 minuten lopen. De conciërge was zeer behulpzaam. Het appartement was ruim voor twee personen. De badkamer was ruim en heel schoon.

De tafel was wiebelig, maar die hoefden we niet te gebruiken. Er reed een tram vlak naast het appartement en die was hoorbaar ook met dichte ramen, maar hij verstoorde onze nachtrust niet.

Ein wunderschönes Haus in toller zentraler Lage! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Booked as a day room on an 8 hour layover. I tried to communicate our request for an early check in, but room still needed an hour to prepare.

Das Personal am Empfang war super nett und hat sich gut um uns gekümmert. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Wir waren im Erdgeschoss untergebracht. Die Straßenbahnen nachts nah an uns vorbeigefahren sind. Die Einrichtung sehr spartanisch. Es fehlte eine Nachttischlampe.

The building is beautiful and historic. The room was large and it was very nice to have a working coffee machine, with coffee and milk on hand, in the room. The location is unbeatable if you want to be in downtown Mainz.

The room didn't have as much character as the exterior might lead you to expect. It was a generic but comfortable corporate apartment. There were a couple of minor problems that suggest that they are not used to single-night stays.

Ho avuto un upgrade di stanza che ho apprezzato molto! L'appartamento era nuovo, luminoso, con colori pastello, mi ha subito tanto una sensazione di accoglienza e comfort. L'appartamento si affacciava sul cortile interno, quindi era davvero molto silenzioso (non ho riscontrato i rumori di cui parlava in altri commenti). L'intero edificio è molto bello e, nonostante sia un edificio storico, dentro è completamente moderno e dotato di ascensore. Il bagno è dotato di kit di cortesia, così come la cucina è dotata di varie pentole e stoviglie. Il letto è molto comodo e la vista dalle finestre era meravigliosa. Il proprietario con cui mi sono interfacciata è stato sempre molto gentile e cordiali. Io mi sono trovata davvero molto bene! Ho viaggiato da sola e in tutta la mia permanenza mi sono sempre sentita molto a mio agio. Il prezzo della struttura è un po' alto, ma ne vale la pena! È molto difficile trovare appartamenti accoglienti a Mainz e questo è un vero tesoro. La struttura aveva talmente tanti commenti negativi, che stavo per cancellare la prenotazione, ma sono stata felice di non averlo fatto!

Non sarebbe male aggiungere uno scolapasta in cucina (per i veri pasta-addicted :) ) e avere due tipologie di cuscini, così da poter scegliere quello più adatto.

Die spartanische Ausstattung des Zimmers ohne Schrank ,nur mit einigen Kleiderhaken an der Tür und ein uralter Tisch, der vermutlich dem alten,der aber hervorragend renovierten und modernisierten Haus entsprechend sollte, der aber abgenutzt war und mir absolut nicht gefallen hat.Außerdem war im Bad anfangs ein sehr üble Geruch. Das kommt häufig vor, wenn Bäder lange nicht benutzt wurden.

Nice historic building with modern apartments. Loved everything about this stay. This was our second time staying here. Close to everything in walking distance. Good food and drinks places around this hotel. Good location for uber pickup for the airport at 5am.

Water pressure in shower was very low. One needs good shower after spending a long day around the town.

Eine traumhaft schöne Unterkunft. Zentral, sauber und genau wie auf den Fotos zu sehen. Ich habe sogar ein Upgrade in ein größeres Zimmer mit Domblick erhalten, in dem es eine komplette Ausstattung zum Kaffee kochen gab. Ich wäre gern länger geblieben.

Wir waren zentral in Mainz, in einem historischen Gebäude, in einem sehr gut ausgestatteten Apartment, untergebracht. Die Betten waren sehr bequem, habe sehr gut geschlafen. Im sehr gut ausgestetteten Badezimmer gab es sogar Duschgel und Shampoo von L'Occitane. Die Aussicht auf der dritten Etage war herrlich, zeigte den Mainzer Dom. Es gab, nur zwei Minuten entfernt, diverse Möglichkeiten in Cafés zu frühstücken. Ich habe mich dort sehr wohlgefühlt.

Bellissimo appartamento con splendida vista nella piazza centrale della bellissima Mainz. Tutto nuovo e pulito, bel bagno con doccia spaziosa, bella e moderna anche la cucina. Anche il palazzo è molto bello. Comodo il parcheggio all’interno del cortile. Simpatico e originale il gestore, la mattina ci ha anche offerto una buonissima brioche appena sfornata. Ottima esperienza. Super consigliato. Top.

The room is nice and the location is good

The manager who arranges the collection of the keys is extremely rude. Guests need to be aware of how bad the customer service can be when you need to reply on it most. We needed an out of hours check in. This would be so we can collect the keys after hours. I contacted the management and arranged this weeks in advance. I was told it would be sent a few days before we travel, I never received this information. I emailed and no reply. The manager replied on the morning we were travelling and said he would send it via whatapp this morning. Still nothing by the afternoon. I asked if he could send the information and said he is at work and will send after work. I waiting until we were boarding the plane and still nothing. We arrived at the airport late at night and still no message back about how to check in. By this time it was after 10pm and we had arrived and had no information about how to get the keys so it was worrying. I asked if he could send it as we are leaving the airport. He called me on WhatsApp to ask what my problem is and that he will send the info later, I said thank you as he sounded very aggressive. He said I can cancel the booking and I politely said no thats ok we will make our way there. This was after 10pm at night after a long journey and he is treatened to cancel our booking for asking how we collect the keys. He then tried to call me back but I didnt want to answer as he seemed very aggressive and I needed to deescalate his temper. I left it until we arrived and then he sent a video of how to collect the keys. This is a video that would apply to any guest checking in after hours so not sure why he couldn't send this before or just explained how. The main issue was his temper and how threaten to cancel the booking at 10pm at night for people traveling late at night. That is a serious cause for concern. He also said after sending the video see you tomorrow, which also felt a little threatening.

El departamento es grande y muy cómodo. Muy funcional y limpio. El edificio es lindísimo. En pleno centro de Mainz y con estacionamiento. Todo estuvo perfecto.

Prachtig ruim appartement, voorzien van alle gemakken. Grote slaapkamer, enorme badkamer en ruime woonkamer, grote eettafel en volledige keuken. Op de rand van het centrum, perfecte ligging. Parkeerplaats volledig afgesloten, fijn als je deze nog laat staan met bagage. We kregen een spontane upgrade en daar erg van genoten.

Aan het plein zijn terrassen en rijdt te tram. Als je de ramen openzet is dit rumoerig, met de ramen dicht geen enkel probleem.

Superb host, strongly recommended for families, when an unforeseen issue arose with the apartment we were originally assigned it was addressed and rectified immediately. Great and personable customer service. Superb location, would recommend courtyard facing apartments for families with younger children.
