Das Hotel liegt mitten in der Stadt - welche extrem bezaubernd ist! Leider haben wir dort nur eine Nacht verbracht - die Stadt ist auf jeden Fall sehenswert! Der Empfang war sehr nett inkl. Parkplatzeinweisung und Restaurantempfehlungen. Zimmer war sehr groß, sauber und das Bett sehr gemütlich! Zum Frühstück gab es frische, selbstgemachte Speisen und gute Kaffee! Ein Aufenthalt in dieser Stadt bzw. in dieser Unterkunft ist auf jeden Fall eine Reise wert!

We want to give special thanks for checking on us during our trip, to make sure that everything is alright because we were late. Highly appreciated! When we arrived, the hotel looked wonderful and helped us fully dive in into our vacation. Every detail is well thought-through. Breakfast was super tasty, with yoghurt and honey being something completely special.

We stayed 8 nights. We loved the room! Amazing windows, haha! - very easy to close and open them which for us is important. The overall mood of the room was relaxing. Nothing to complain of. Staff is nice and sociable. The area is amaaazing! We liked the food, although I would suggest more variety from day to day.

-The only thing we found odd was the following: Context: There is a specific flyer you should hang on the door when you want to have the room cleaned. We appreciated this, because this way you basically have control of when someone will enter your room. ---> One day we got our room cleaned while we were eating breakfast, although we did not add the flyer on the door - which was on purpose. This was confusing for us, as it seemed that the presence of the flyer had the purpose of confirming our room is free and ready for cleaning, which made us believe that its absence would mean we don't want our room to be cleaned just yet. I know it's weird to complain about having the room cleaned, haha, but I see this more as a communication issue and a case of the procedure not being followed properly.

Geçen yıl da burada konaklamıştık. Hem şehri hem de hoteli çok beğenmiştik bu yılda kalmayı tercih ettik. Aile için yeterli , sessiz ve merkeziydi. Çalışanlar ise oldukça yardımseverdi. Teşekkür ederiz. Gelecek yıl görüşmek üzere :)

Ένα υπέροχο ξενοδοχείο με άνετο δωμάτιο και μπάνιο, καθαρό και στο καλύτερο σημείο της πόλης. Το στρώμα στο κρεββάτι ιδανικό για τέλειο ύπνο. Το πρωινό πλούσιο και προσεγμένο.

Nada, ya que tras tener reservada y pagada la habitación desde el dia 8 de marzo de 2026, nos encontramos a las 13 horas del día 23 de agosto, que nos dicen al llegar (tras recibir sus indicaciones de como llegar al hotel la víspera), en recepción que no tienen habitación y que cancelemos la reserva (cuestión que tuvimos que hacer para recuperar el dinero), ya que no tenían habitaciones. Es la primera vez que me ha pasado con booking. Tuvimos que buscar una habitación en otro hotel.

La sequedad, la poca profesionalidad. Nos imaginamos que tenían una demanda más interesante que una reserva de una noche por booking

This was the first hotel of our current trip through western Greece, and next time we are in Ioannina, we will definitely stay here again. Apart from the unique atmosphere of Ali Pasha’s fortress, this hotel has something truly special: during its recent restoration, an ancient well was discovered. You can actually see this little piece of antiquity right in the breakfast room. And the breakfast deserves a perfect 10 on its own! Freshly squeezed juice, excellent coffee, delicious local pastries, and homemade jam made by the owner’s mother-in-law. Try the cherry jam — you won’t forget it! The private parking is another huge advantage. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and it’s genuinely pleasant just to sit and chat with them. In short, if you’re staying in Kastro, stay here. You won’t regret it.

The beds were exceptionally comfortable, ensuring restful nights, while the bathrooms were spotless with excellent water pressure. What truly stood out was the warm, family-run hospitality and the outstanding homemade breakfast. Featuring local specialties, fresh pies, jams, and regional products, it provided a delightful start to each day. The staff were attentive, helpful, and genuinely welcoming, making us feel at home. Free parking nearby and a lovely garden added further convenience and charm. Its Kale Boutique Hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. We highly recommend it for families and travelers seeking an authentic, comfortable experience in Ioannina. We look forward to returning.

The location is inside the castle, very quiet yet close to the center of the town. They will give you proper information in advance how to get there even if you are going with a car. The staff was super helpful, cheerful, a pleasure to deal with. The room was not huge but enough for two not to bump shoulders to shoulders. The bed was large and the mattress was firm, rather on the harder side. The pillow was firm and comfortable, keeping its form. The bathroom was small but ok. The breakfast was great: cheese and ham and pastry and fruits to choose from, and they prepare eggs the way you want it. They had fantastic Greek yoghurt as well. The coffee is real and free. We were with a motorbike and could park it safely just in front of the hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at Its Kale Boutique Hotel in Ioannina. The hotel is beautiful, cozy, and very well located, with a charming atmosphere that fits perfectly with the old town. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were very kind and welcoming. It was only one night, but everything felt smooth and pleasant. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would be happy to stay here again.

È stata un'esperienza fantastica! Ioannina è stata una meravigliosa scoperta L'hotel è bellissimo, dentro le mura del castello Sissi la proprietaria oltre ad essere dolcissima è molto professionale ed empatica, ci ha fatto sentire a casa. La struttura curata nei minimi particolari. La stanza bellissima ed accogliente, il letto meraviglioso, mai dormito così bene in una mia vacanza. La colazione abbondante di tutto Grazie Sissi per i preziosi consigli per visitare la città ma soprattutto per l'accoglienza e l'attenzione che ci hai riservato.

Très grande chambre confortable et propre. La décoration de l'hôtel en général est magnifique et fait très style local. Le petit déjeuner était très bon. L'emplacement de l'hôtel est super en plein centre historique de la ville, quartier très calme. L'hôtel possède un parking à 2 pas. Excellents conseils du personnel pour visiter la ville et dîner.

Alles. Dieses Hotel ist ein Traum 🤩. Sehr herzlicher Empfang. Schon beim Eintreten fühlt man sich zu Hause. Tolle Tipps für die Stadtbesichtigung. Wunderbare Zimmer, charmant, geräumig, bequeme Betten, alles stilvoll arrangiert 💕. Und dann das Frühstück… frisch gepresster Orangenjus, Kaffee in allen Variationen, feiner griechischer Joghurt mit Honig, Früchte, Müsli, Brot, Gebäck, Eier.. was das Herz begehrt. Wir waren begeistert. Mitten in der Altstadt, also extrem zentral und zu einem super Preis. Das gibt die🥇😉

Everything was great - stylish hotel with beautiful rooms and outside seating area; location inside old castle area, close to busier restaurant areas and lake; lovely helpful staff; wide choice of delicious breakfast options. Easy parking in June, directly outside hotel. If driving, suggest ignoring Googlemaps and enter castle walls via northern gate for easy access and parking (signed to The Its Kale Inner Citadel etc, ignore no entry sign) to avoid tiny streets/tight corners.

After 3 weeks driving around Greece this has been by far the best accommodation. Room was spotlessly clean & spacious with great breakfast. Everyone working there friendly & helpful. Great location inside the fortress, short walk to waterfront, shops & restaurants. Easy parking in front of hotel. Balsamico Restaurant opposite fortress main gate, fantastic food. Highly recommend, would definitely return.

Die Lage mitten in der Altstadt ist hervorragend. Die Gässchen sind etwas eng. Das sollte man, wenn man mit dem Auto kommt, bedenken. Das Shopping- und das Ausgeh-Viertel sind gut zu Fuß erreichbar, sowie einige Sehenswürdigkeiten. Jede Menge gute Restaurants gibt es dort. Wir haben uns einfach ein paar Tipps beim Einchecken geben lassen. Das Zimmer ist sehr schön und groß, das Bett und die Couch sehr bequem. Das Frühstück war hervorragend.

Μέσα στο κάστρο της πόλης. Καθαρό κ ευρύχωρο δωμάτιο. Το προσωπικό ευγενικό κ εξυπηρετικό. Το πρωινό με σπιτικά τοπικά προϊόντα κ τέλεια homemade ομελέτα.

Όλα όσα προσφέρει το κατάλυμα είναι τέλεια αν υπήρχε βαθμολογία πάνω από 10 σίγουρα θα την έβαζα!! πραγματικά αξίζουν συγχαρητήρια για τους ιδιοκτήτες!!!!

Διανυκτερεύσαμε για δύο βράδια με την οικογένεια μας. Το δωμάτιο ήταν πολύ άνετο και καθαρό. Μας άρεσε πολύ που βρισκόταν μέσα στο κάστρο, γιατί ήταν ήσυχα, γραφικά αλλά και εύκολα όλα προσβάσιμα με τα πόδια. Το πρωινό μας ήταν πολύ ικανοποιητικό με αρκετές χειροποίητες παρασκευές από το ξενοδοχείο, όπως γλυκά, πίτες και τοπικά εδέσματα. Πολύ φιλόξενο το προσωπικό του ξενοδοχείου. Σας ευχαριστούμε πολύ!

Πολύ όμορφο και καθαρό δωμάτιο. Το πρωινό ήταν εξαιρετικής ποιότητας και πολύ νόστιμα. Το προσωπικό ήταν ευγενέστατο, φιλικό και πρόθυμο να βοηθήσει σε οτιδήποτε. Σίγουρα θα ξανά μείνουμε!

Η τοποθεσία καταπληκτική. Κινήθηκαμε παντού με τα πόδια. Το κατάλυμα πεντακάθαρο, το προσωπικό πολύ εξυπηρετικό, το πρωινό πλήρες! Θα το ξαναπροτιμήσουμε σίγουρα!!!!
