Except that the location is central, there is nothing likeable about this hotel.

Rude staff at reception, musty and dirty rooms, no hot water, housekeeping services almost non existent, poor service at restaurant. In fact it is hard to think of anything at all that worked here.

Not much good to say.

Mouse in the room. No staff to deal with issues. Manager ignoring us. Cleanliness poor. Overcharged for water.

The location of hotel was good.

The room lights were not getting off in nights, bathroom was messy and shower not working properly. The amenities like fridge was leaking.

I had 🐁 mice in my room ,this lead to spoil of our night. Although next night we requested to chng the room as mice was still there,nd they changed our room.

Maintenance of property and cleanliness in general is below acceptable standards.

I was promised my booking from October 21-23, 2023 at Gwalior. This was one of the most important events of my life where I was being invited to 125 years of my Alma mater in the august presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other heads of state. Because of Booking.com & the hotel I was left stranded just before the day of my travel with no other means but to shell out triple the amount. And all of this is done even after I taking to reserve the hotel almost 5 months before and also me being a valued customer with Bookings.com. In this regard I had called the customer care also and they confirmed that I will not be stranded and Bookings.com will take care of my hotel booking or provide and alternative. Nothing of that sort happened, thankfully good sense prevailed and I opted to seek an alternative considering was travelling with my wife and an eight year old daughter for this prestigious event. The staff and the management of the hotel is irresponsible and are full of greed who can leave a customer stranded even if one has booked the room 4-5months prior, this has left a big scar and scare for all my future travels if I engage services of Booking.com or choose to be in this hotel. PLEASE AVOID BOTH BOOKING.COM AND HOTEL REGENCY AT GWALIOR

Room shown in the images was totally different from the room provided. Whole property rooms are in the worst condition. Room and washroom are stinky. Air conditioning is not working and making noise. Staff were very rude. Over hyped property. No maintenance of the property is being done by the owner. Food quality is worst. You can’t eat food from there restaurant.

Ventilation in Toilet was insufficient. Flush valve was sticky. wash basin tap was not proper.For hot water I had to drain and waste water.

I recently stayed at Gwalior Regency. The photos were something else and the room that they gave was completely different from the photos. It was misrepresentation and when we complained about it, the informed us that they have not updated the photos instead of apologising. Very rude staff

My room was a complete mess. The ac was not working and there was a leakage issue in the washroom. After several complaints, still they didn’t take any action

It's just a night halt stay while moving...value for money, quiet neat but old styled...food was yummy.

Damp walls, crowded location, poor bath fittings, poor state of lifts...

Old and worn-out rooms. Room was small and congested. Services poor. Staff not properly groomed. One lift not working, the other was dirty. View from window pathetic. No backup power. Bedding was of poor quality. Cleaning erratic. Breakfast spread limited.

Rooms are a good size and, cleaning was consistent and reliable, dining room well resourced. I would be happy to recommend this hotel for short or longer stays.

There is no name board at the front entrance or other distinguishing feature to help find this hotel. Location is conveniently close to the main railway station but the 10 minute walk is difficult as you have to go through the busy bus stand and cross a dangerous road to reach the main station entrance. Whilst the staff were attentive, it would be good to see them smile a little more often when dealing with guests. A warm welcome always impresses!

Room Tarrif is too high as compared to hotel aminities and room conditions. Paints are uprooted, toilet doors are not been locked properly, Main door locks are too old fashioned, bed conditions are bad as springs inside are pinching while sleeping........third class not worth ful for such a high rates of 3700/- it is suitable only for rates up to 1800/- not more than that........

Breakfast was very good and located at centre point.

TV was not in working condition. After several reminders they couldn't keep it working. Although housekeeping staff tried well but at last he shown his inability.Rest thing were upto the mark

I chose rooms based on photographs. In deluxe section photos were there of Super Deluxe. I was cheated by booking.com and Hotel. I had to pay extra for getting a super deluxe room and that too was bot that clean.

Well beyond expectations. This was a pleasure to stay here. We ate mostly in house. Treated well by all staff. This was great after some of the more basic places we have stayed in with similar prices

A bit of a problem with mosquitoes. However, the management did best to manage, and we used repellant. But should not deter anyone from staying here
