The bed and the pillows are comfortable

.During our stay, we found the housekeeping standards to be disappointing. The room, including the bed and bathroom, was not cleaned thoroughly. The bed was simply made by straightening the bedcover, while the bed sheets were not properly refreshed or cleaned. Breakfast was also quite chaotic. Guests were left to wander around searching for available tables, as no staff were assigning seating or managing the dining area. When we raised the issue, we were simply told that the hotel was fully booked, which did not adequately address the situation. We were also disappointed with the quality and variety of the breakfast food, which was significantly poorer than what we experienced two years ago. In fact, our previous positive experience was the main reason we chose to return, making this decline especially disappointing

Stayed 3 nights in 3 Premier rooms on 3rd floor overlooking to the mountain. The hotel has a nice open air lobby. Its room is fairly large & has balcony but bathroom was not so clean. The king size bed were quite comfortable. Skydome Restaurant has nice ambience & provided delicious Chinese cuisine. Free in room WIFI connection was good. The hotel staff were attentive & friendly. Overall it has a good value for money.

We visited as an extended family in April 2026 and stayed at The Golden Tulip Holland resort in Batu for 14 days. Right from the outset we were welcomed openly and with great friendliness. Our rooms were very lovely, spacious, clean and had all we would require on our stay. Beautiful views from a large balcony over Batu and the resort itself. Immense value for money. Throughout our whole stay the service we received was second to none and we were given a VIP area to dine each day with the most helpful and friendly staff. The food available at breakfast was vast, with hot and cold food on offer with plenty to choose from. The restaurant menus were full of great variety, all cooked and presented to a very high standard. The chefs would present us with dishes and desserts. Staff are all very attentive and polite. My most special day as the Mum of the family was on my 50th Birthday where the staff really went out of their way to ensure I was treated special and spoiled with many surprises. Our room was decorated to the hilt with balloons and birthday gestures all around. The hotel is in a well located area with many stunning areas to visit, Mount Bromo, theme parks, waterfalls, shopping centres, great days out all in easy reach. My whole family would very much have loved to stay longer and we will most definitely return again. We travelled from Scotland and as a Scottish family we were made to feel at ease throughout or whole stay by many staff members that we cannot thank enough. Perfect holiday.

Stayed at Golden Tulip Holland for 2 nights and found the location highly strategic, with close proximity to Jatim Park 2 and Batu Night Spectacular (BNS), making it very convenient for leisure activities. The hotel facilities are well-maintained and suitable for families, while the room was clean and comfortable. Overall, the property offers a good level of comfort and convenience. However, the internet connection speed was below expectations for a 4 star hotel and could be improved. Additionally, there was a concerning issue regarding privacy and room security, as it appeared that access to our room could be easily obtained by other guest access card which affected our sense of safety and comfort.

Thank you for the wonderful hospitality service. The service was very satisfying, the room was clean and comfortable, and most importantly, the kids really enjoyed the variety of playgrounds available. It is truly a highly recommended hotel for those with young children. Once again, thank you very much for the great stay experience.

I have read one of the review previously saying that this hotel's towel is pretty old, at the beginning i didnt believe it, but i witness it my self, my towel even has a hole and not as fluffly like other hotels where i previously stayed. The room we got also very damp (good thing portable dehumidifier was provided). In our bathroom ceiling, there was a moldy as well. Anither thing that i find out quite interesting, yet I feel a little bit annoyed is that there was alarm in my parents room door and my door that kept making a noice every time we are opening the door, wich not ideal especially when my baby is sleeping. With the price listed (high season), I didnt expect to find the room in that condition.

I've stayed at a lot of hotels around the world but Golden Tulip Holland is definitely one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at! All the staff were so genuine in their jobs and service and are always so helpful. Their service is even better than the hotel chains I've stayed at such as Pan Pacific and Park Royal. You can tell the staff at Golden Tulip are so happy to always help guests. The room is so comfortable with sufficient amenities provided. The daily housekeeping kept the room super clean as well! The breakfast spread was amazing and one of the best breakfast I have ever seen and tasted! Really delicious and the staff were always willing to help to find a table. There are always sufficient tables to sit even during busy breakfast hours. The hotel was also so nice to give free refreshments such as a free welcome cake and fruits salad! Really great for kids too with their kids club and kids pool! Really the best stay ever!! I will definitely come back to stay again. Thank you for the amazing stay and experience!!

Room booking via WhatsApp account was smoothly done. Room condition was perfectly clean. The view was right across the Panderman hill. Clean air and cool temperature. Gym was almost constantly crowded as well as the restaurant on breakfast times, so early breakfast before 07.30 is recommended for everyone in a hurry. Thank you for helping us with the early check-in.

Huge hotel with lots of facilities. All the staffs were friendly, from the security guard, housekeeping staff to the reception staff (shot out to mbak Diyan who welcomed us).

My stay at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Batu was fantastic. The room was clean, comfortable, and had a beautiful view of the mountains. The spa was a true highlight, offering an amazing retreat with its hot and cold jacuzzi, steam room, and sauna. Although the pool was quite cold, it was still a great spot to relax as well as the breakfast is good and varied breakfast . I would definitely choose this hotel for another stay.

5 star hotel in the strategic loccation. Only 5 mins to Secret Zoo and Batu Night Spectacular makes this hotel worth to be an option in Batu with luxury stay. They have warm pool which very suitable for kids. They also have kids pool with mini waterpark. When your kids want to play, they have 2 indoor playground in different floor and outside playground. Room itself spacious enough with complete amenities. Breakfast menu has many choices but they really strict on kids age. Staff was friendly and helpful. I recommend this hotel if you want to find luxury hotel in Batu.

Beautiful hotel with gorgeous mountain views. Great location up on the hill. Very clean, and lovely staff who were very helpful. Excellent breakfast buffet with an enormous variety of both local and western food. We really enjoyed our stay here and will visit again.

Wunderschön bergig gelegenes Hotel mit modernen und komfortabel eingerichteten und sauberen Zimmern. Unser Zimmer hatte einen tollen Ausblick auf die Berge. Das Personal war immer freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war hervorragend mit einer riesigen Auswahl für jeden Geschmack. Der Fitnessbereich ließ keine Wünsche offen. Die Benutzung der Tiefgarage war gratis.

In der Nähe des Hotels wird täglich Müll verbrannt, dessen Rauch bei entsprechender Windrichtung unseren Balkon erreicht hat. Ein in Indonesien leider häufig vorkommendes Problem. Das Hotel hat sich zwar dafür entschuldigt, aber das änderte aber nichts an der Tatsache. Das Einloggen auf dem Hotel-TV mit einem Google-Konto war leider nicht möglich, weil Sicherheitsgründe (wurde uns zumindest so erzählt) dagegen sprächen. Man könnte überlegen, in der Lobby für die Gäste einen Trinkwasserspender aufzustellen.

I also want to express my appreciation to the Housekeeping team, who did an amazing job keeping the room clean and tidy throughout my stay. In particular, Khoirul deserves a shout-out for his attention to detail and kindness. And to the staff member who cleaned my room in the evening — I didn’t catch your name, but your work was much appreciated! Thank you to the entire team for making my stay so comfortable. This is an excellent hotel. It's still rather new and very well maintained. Rooms are clean and comfortable. All the staff personnel are very polite and helpful. Highly recommended.

- not many staffs on Friday and weekend; resulting in 1) 1hr waiting time to get extra water bottles, 2) 45 mins waiting time to queue for breakfast, 3) almost forgetting to deliver our same day laundry - did not love infinity8 pasta. aglio but with bolognese and pesto sauce, idk what it was trying to achieve. - the spa and massage was so so, nothing special despite the hefty price. I requested for milk bath, turns out it was just a bathtub filled with warm water.

The hotel itself has some pretty great facilities and things to do. It's also close to town where all the things to do are like the Flower Garden or the Dino Park. Most of the staff are friendly and breakfast was nice. The room was nice and big and very comfortable.

The internet slowed to a crawl in the morning when everyone woke up for breakfast. The area is supposed to be somewhat famous for their apples and I couldn't find any at breakfast.

First of all people saying this Hotel very comfortable but for me is No. Why ? Because the servis from the staffs its very awful. And the duty manager didnt give any solution for my problem. The room is so bad the food not like what people saying. How come the management can't solved the problem of guest ???? Just my advice please be professional both for manager or employe. Do not give bad experiences for the guest. The hotel building is good but the staffs is bad.

Cleanliness, service and view was exceptional. Stayed here for our anniversary trip and we were greeted by cute deco on our bed + a heartfelt note printed by the hotel, wishing us a happy anniversary. The bed was extremely comfortable, room's very clean and we got the mountain view room which was amazing. The staff were all so kind and breakfast's great too! Felt safe and taken care of, would definitely recommend this hotel at Batu.

If you are a family with young kids looking for a place to stay at Batu, I would recommend to stay here. It’s kids friendly. They have a swimming pool with a cool slides, a small heated jacuzzi pool, pool table, table tennis, free bicycle and also e-bike rental, and kids playground. Their location is quite in the centre off all the Jatim Parks which makes it easier for you to visit them. And the staffs are all very friendly and helpful.

The staff were a stand out. Very polite, Friendly and always happy to help with a smile. The view were amazing, surrounded by the mountains. The room were clean, spacious and comfortable. Great swimming pool and jacuzzi. Beautiful ground and garden. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Next door to Jatim park 2 and only 10 mins drive to Jatim Park 3 also Floating market/Transportation museum. Special thanks to Jasmine ( Breakfast room) and Lala ( Dinner at eatery restaurant) also Adrian ( F and B supervisor). You are a gem. We enjoyed our 4 night stay. Thank you Golden Tulip 🌷

For sure Golden Tulip Holland Resort Batu is one of the best hotel at Batu. We stay for 2 nights, easy check in, clean and comfortable room. Excellent foods for breakfast, also we had food from Infinite 8 Restaurant and delicious food at Skydome Chinese restaurant. We manage to use the swimming pool, gym, whirpool and sauna facilities. Also we try the e-bike to circle the allowed track. During our stay was not high season, but the hotel was fully booked due to corporate event. Overall stay was pleasant and well hospitalised. We would recommend others to stay here, also we would in the future come back again to Golden Tulip Holland Resort Batu. Thank you.

Breakfast venue is quite pack during peak christmas holiday, there was some flies which we need to request candles on the table.

I had an excellent stay at this hotel..the rooms were clean, spacious and very comfortable. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive and polite, always ready to assist with a smile. The facilities including the pool and restaurant were top notch and exceeded my expectations. The restaurant with the various menu and very delicious..the playground was clean and my kids very excited play in there. I will definitely come back in the future....

Overall, nothing that do not like about this property. Minor things like ants along wall of dressing mirror and tv can be looked into. I will be happy to return here again.

Food and recreational area

The views around the hotel are stunning especially early in the morning when the mist is rising up over the mountains. The swimming pool area with its big slide is fun for families - the water takes a bit of getting used to though! There are at least three restaurants and the two which we dined in offered very nice food at a reasonable price. The beds are very comfortable and I felt well rested each night.

Our door frame panel came loose and fell off the door. Staff were very quick to fix it...but then it fell off a second time. Luckily, no one was in the way of it to hit their head. Staff initially informed me that there were no money changers in Batu only for a local taxi driver to take me to one in town later. Otherwise, this could have been a 1-2 hour drive back to Malang!

Great location if you are going around Batu.. quite far from Malang though.. nice hotel, good facilities.. helpful staff. Would like to shout out Mbak Nova in the restaurant during breakfast, very helpful and great service. Room was a good size, good amenities and comfy bed. Amazing view from room.

Breakfast on weekends get rather crowded and food runs out quickly.. for some reason did not get hand towels in room had to request them twice.

The room where I stayed was clean. No dust, fresh bed cover and blanket.The pool was quite big and long with a whirlpool with warm water which is best for kiddos. All the Staff very helpful

Service was excellent . View from the room & Skydome Restaurant was really good. Room was clean, bed was comfi. Aircon was cold. Netty, the Duty Manager was very nice & very helpfull. Pa Ponco, the breakfast Chef really surprised me, he made me a special dessert & a hotplate lobster omelette for breakfast which were very yummy. A special thanks for pa Ponco. :-) Jessica at Skydome restaurant was really nice, she was so sweet, quick, gave good recommendation what to choose. A big swimming pool with wide slide for the kids. Ooo... this place is very close to Jatim Park, the Zoo & Museum angkut.
