Lotte Arai Resort

遅くまで&早朝から入れる温泉。朝食もおいしかった。リゾートならではの広々した開放感。景色。

現地のレースのために宿泊しましたが、参加者は宿泊者でも駐車場で追加料金を取られる。レストラン近くのトイレがレース参加者を入れないためか閉鎖されていて使いにくかった。レイトチェックアウトを希望したができず、全体的に融通が効かない印象。

広くて、朝食会場まで遠い気がします。

自然、子供連れには嬉しいアクティビティの数

部屋のドアが薄く、廊下の声が丸聞こえ。22:30くらいまでどこかの会社の懇談会みたいなのがエレベーター近くでやっていて非常に煩かった。スタッフの対応は良いが人によって言ってることが違う。こちらに迷惑がかかっているにも関わらず事後に何もないので報連相すらできてない様子。食事も値段の割にいまいち、外で海鮮食べた方が全然良い。子供連れには良いがこの値段であれば他にもっと良い宿は沢山泊まってきたので2度と行きません。諸々突っ込みどころが多すぎて一言で言うとハリボテです。

施設が広々していてゆっくりできた。

国道から施設までの表示が解りずらかった。 はじめの利用でしたので施設入ってからも車の駐車いちなど戸惑いました。

There was a lot to do in one place. Onsen, pool, activities. Really Perfect for families. Place is clean, huge, well maintained and the bed and pillows were perfectly soft yet firm.

Too many break times for the activities. For example for the bouldering activity for small kids, it would have been nice to have more time slots for it to be available. The staff there is very friendly though ,the kids loved him. Staff in the hotel(particularly The Place resto) could be a little more accommodating especially to those staying in the resort. I noticed that with the surge of tourists, the "omotenashi" seems to wither away. Sad.

打たせ湯が出ないのと、温泉用のタオルがあると嬉しかった

Mooi resort, was voor ons 1 overnachting in prachtige omgeving en mooi hotel. Vermoedelijk gericht op wintersport en voor degenen die de bergen in willen.

Met het hotel en restaurant is niets mis, wij kozen het om 1 nacht te overbruggen. Lijkt ons een resort waar je een lang weekend of week uit de drukte van de stad wil zijn om van de natuur te genieten. Wat ging irriteren was het constante piano muziekje. Ik hoor liever de vogels of de stilte van de natuur dan buiten ook nog een pianodeuntje er doorheen.

The rooms were comfortable, the hotel facilities were good, and the food was satisfactory. Unfortunately, the customer service experience at the front desk and the concerns regarding the handling of personal payment information overshadowed the positive aspects of our stay.

I booked this hotel through Booking.com after hearing many positive recommendations from friends. We traveled as a family of four and reserved two rooms. During the booking process, I clearly specified 3 adults and 1 child: one room for two adults and another room for one adult and one child. Unfortunately, our experience started poorly at check-in. When we arrived, the reservation showed two rooms with occupancy for only one person in each room. Whether this was due to an error on Booking.com or a discrepancy between the booking system and the hotel, I do not know. However, I was disappointed that the front desk staff showed little interest in helping us understand what had happened. We were simply told to contact Booking.com and were required to pay an additional charge on the spot for the extra guests. As a result, our family had to pay more than expected. Since we had traveled a long distance and did not want to ruin our vacation, we paid the additional amount, but it was a very unpleasant surprise and not the way I expected a customer issue to be handled. Another concern was the check-in procedure itself. The receptionist requested my credit card and manually wrote down the card details, including the security code from the back of the card, on a sheet of paper. I have stayed at many hotels around the world and had never experienced this practice before. It made me uncomfortable, but I was told it was necessary for check-in. Based on our experience, we would not choose to stay here again and would recommend that future guests carefully review their reservation details before arrival and pay close attention to how their payment information is handled.

My room was spacious and the heating system worked well

> POOR SERVICE & COMMUNICATION I stayed at the property for 5 nights as a solo traveller. Upon arrival there were no staff assisting with luggage, and the check-in process was extremely uncomfortable with the reception staff. It was my first time in a ski resort and as I was travelling on my own, I had many questions about the facilities, f&b and navigating around. There was little sharing so I had many questions about navigating; I was presented a map and the staff is so short with my questions and just saying that I would definitely get lost in the property. Many staff I interacted with spoke little to no English. I called to ask for bins to be cleared, refresh the room with new set of towel and water, and the receptionist could not understand me at all. I do not expect a full conversation but for a resort claiming to be 5 star, I think it’s rather basic to understand cleaning and to refresh the room. Extremely rude staff at village station as well - a lady had raised her voice at me when I was just asking questions about the ski pass. At the rental shop, there was little to no help rendered and generally staff is just curt and unfriendly. Honestly after 2 days at the resort, lowkey felt like it was just racism. > 5 STAR PROPERTY WITH NO WATER I find it absolutely incredulous that a hotel could not provide sufficient water for their guests. Day 2 of my stay I was told that each guest is only entitled to one complimentary bottle of water PER DAY. It baffles me how a 5 star property can be stingy with such a basic amenity. You would just need to sort yourself out at the convenience store, which was located at the far end of the wings. This is at least a 15 mins walk back and forth, walking across 3 wings to get there. > UNDERSTAFFED?? The property promotes an environmentally friendly movement where you could opt out of housekeeping services and get a rebate of 1,000 yen per day.

施設が綺麗で部屋もよかったです

どこの棟に宿泊かが少し迷った。近隣ほぼ一体がロッテアライリゾートなので最初は戸惑った。

海外のリゾートホテルのようでした

施設の割に閑散として活気がないところ。 レストランがいまいち。

CLUB棟のお部屋は、広々といていて清潔で快適でした。

落ち着いて食事できるレストランがない。

Ruime kamer, heerlijke bedden (in andere hotels nog vaak van die keiharde bedden). Hele mooie spa/onsen met Finse sauna, stoomruimte, warm buitenbad met bomen en mooi aangelegd. Dinerbuffet voor redelijke prijs, zeer veel keuze, waaronder goede biefstuk, zowel Europese als Aziatische keuken.

Hotelontbijt (te) duur voor wat er aangeboden wordt. Verder top hotel op prachtige locatie.

Buffet breakfast was excellent

We loved the cleanliness and that the ski gondola is attached to the resort. We would love to come back in peak season when there’s more activity around the resort.

Rooms were nice

Room wasn’t ready and rude staff. On check out, after being informed that the two beers in the mini bar were complementary as advised at check in, due to the room being late and having to stay in the foyer for hours, I was treated as if I had stolen them by the staff. They were rude and did not believe what I was telling them. Once they found the note stating this was true, no apology. Just rude after spending thousands to stay there. It was a nice place to stay but I wouldn’t be rushing back after that experience.

Resort has everything we need and the ski slopes is just in the resort. The variety of restaurants is also good and the food quality is excellent.

We wished there are more dining options that are more casual for dinner.

因為這次預定有含餐，可是太晚到達想吃的餐廳已經沒有位子能預訂。如果所有餐廳都滿這樣似乎含餐旅客有點吃虧。

The resort had everything on site. Ski in ski out was very convenient, rental was an easy process and the restauranrs were delicious. Highly recommend a stay here.

Great location on the mountain, nice onsen, comfortable rooms, and friendly staff.

The food options were lacking. There were limited breakfast options and nothing opened early enough. We didn't like only having the resort food as an option (no independent vendors, cafes and restaurants nearby).

A choice of breakfast buffets, Western or Japanese which was great variety. Enjoyed the options. Plenty of choices.

Slow queuing for slow, unreliable coffee machine, was much better when there were two machines operating.

The Onsen!

Onsen was fantastic and excellent proximity to to mountain (ski in ski out). Lift prices were fair and rooms were clean and comfortable. Everything was thought out and easy, from hiring gear to obtaining a ski locker.

The shuttle is great but the process to book the shuttle could be automated. There aren't that many options to eat outside the resort, unless you take the shuttle to the train station.

Lotte was a lovely resort with some beautiful five star features such as lounges with library facilities, a swimming pool and an onsen and spa. The rooms were spacious and well maintained even though the hotel is quite old.

Our stay at Lotte was very good in general but the dinner and breakfast included in our room rate was disappointing. It was advertised as a Western dinner and breakfast but these choices were very limited and only green tea was available for breakfast and dinner. I asked a waitress for some black tea and I observed another guest doing the same. It was denied. There was always a queue for the coffee machine even though it was off peak snow season and the hotel was far from full. An urn with hot water for tea and an extra coffee machine would have been good. We were there for the snow not the Japanese food. The Japanese food was readily available so those that like Japanese food would probably have an amazing experience:)

The hotel had everything we needed and more. Excellent facilities and condition.

The only downside was the level of English was not very high and could sometimes be problematic

Loved all 3 restaurants for dinner, but service is too quick and makes you feel rushed. Our room in the Club building was very spacious and comfortable. Lunches in the gondola building were fantastic! The free bus transfer to and from the train station was a very welcome addition!

The breakfast needed some improvement. There were too many Japanese options in the Western buffet. Both the omlette and the scrambled eggs were underdone and plain. Option to add onions, peppers, cheese to the omlette. Also, two four slice toasters would work much better than the current toaster, which doesn't really toast at all. The dinner buffet looked terrible, so glad we didn't have to eat there.

Beautiful & quiet resort. Rooms are lovely. Ski lifts not crowded.

Only one price (expensive) for all four dinner options. No cheaper options except from the fridge of the convenience store.

Hotel de grande qualité, au pied des pistes et d'un domaine plutôt intéressant (moins pour les débutants que pour les skieurs confirmés); superbe onsen

Petit-déjeuner onéreux par rapport à la qualité proposée qui mériterait bien mieux; on mange certes à sa faim mais on pourrait espérer avoir davantage de choix Restauration généralement hors de prix
