Somerset Hotel

I decided to stay here because of Kebaya Story.

In my opinion, I think the hotel needs an upgrade.

Agak kurang memuaskan bagi saya dengan family..terutama bilik air..

Location is very good. It's very quiet. Parking facility isn't too bad. Also like that the restaurant Kebaya Story ( Peranakan cuisine) is located in the same building.. Good food. Staff are efficient and friendly.

Understood that it's an old hotel and need a bit of refurbishment. Room was clean but smelt musty and mouldy upon entering. Bed was comfortable with ample pillows. Bathroom wasn't that clean. Cracks on marble counter top and bathroom sink. Mirror looked like it needed to be replaced soon. Black mould near the taps on the marble counter top. Wall in shower area, not clean especially when after the shower and you can see the dirt whilst the walls are damp. Dislike the fact that the room and bathroom smelt musty and mouldy.

I like the restaurant (kebaya Restaurant) was very nice. we enjoyed the food and ambiance.

please provide baby cots because people with babies and toddlers might need it. it is dangerous to have babies in the same bed with parents.

The shower area was very small and clogging. Smelly toilet due to the clogging

Room was spacious and comfortable. Easy to find places to eat. Strategic location close to shops.

Parking was very limited and difficult to find, especially at night.

Clean and spacious room. The beds were comfortable.

The toilet could benefit from an upgrade. Even just adding a shower curtain keeps the wet and dry area separate for a more comfortable toilet experience.

The Kebaya Story Restaurant adjacent to the hotel is great (this is also where the breakfast is served). Easy to reach other places in the city center of Miri (e.g. Miri Times Square). The room is spacious. Helpful staff.

Some features are a bit outdated, such as the bathroom or the access cards to the room.

Connecting to Kepaya Restaurant

Toilet and lift should be upgraded. Should install shower screen or glass partition for shower place to avoid water splashing

The location was perfect! The room was spacious and huge! Perfect for a family of five! Bed is super comfortable, staff is fast and efficient in replying and receiving calls. 10/10

the water heater didnt last long, after one person took a hot shower, there isnt any more hot water left for the next person, thats the only thing that im less satisfied with

ni pun sya pilih hotel ni sebab viral di tiktok sblum book, akhirnya sya kecewa dan menyesal first and last. book untk sya dan isteri bersama ibu ayah book 2bilik. first2 dapat tingkat 4 no.*** takda lock tukar bilik tingkat 5 no*** buka bau jamban terus hmmm, bilik mandi jamban tak di bersihkan, dinding ada hitam2 geli nak mandi, ada lipas. dekat tilam lantai ada rambut. bau takleh terima. suara dari luar boleh dengar. 4hari 3malam terlalu lama kesian kat bini, mak ayah nak cari hotel lain pun dah terlambat duit takcukup. k thanks.

The room are nice and value for stayed at miri city.

Hopofully in the future have a free breakfast.

The location

The room was too small. I booked 2 rooms with the same price but 1 room was smaller than the other room. Also, No iron provided.

Hope your team can fix the shower valve with missing handle... senior person not even know how to turn the valve open. Room 603 bathroom valve for shower head..

Not soundproof, which we can hear people talking outside of the room. Secondly, the parking very hard to get.
