La localización. Está a 10 minutos andando del centro histórico. Da la sensación de estar en un barrio más popular (lo cual nosotros agradecimos) con fácil acceso a la playa y restaurantes en pleno paseo marítimo.

El apartamento de abajo era un poco oscuro. Se oía muchísimo caminar a los huéspedes del piso de arriba.

Όλα προσεγμένα στην εντέλεια. Η τοποθεσία πάρα πολύ καλή. Πας περπατώντας στην παλιά πόλη μεσα από μια όμορφη βόλτα σε περίπου 15 λεπτά. Το πάρκινγκ μέχρι το μεσημέρι είναι αρκετά εύκολο, από το απόγευμα και μετά γίνεται σχετικά δύσκολο.

Η τοποθεσία είναι τέλεια. Η πρόσοψη του καταλύματος είναι υπέροχη. Καθαρό και προσεγμένο. Έχει και στοιχεία Κρήτης που το καθιστά όμορφο.

Το κρεβάτι σε κάθε κίνηση έκανε πολύ θόρυβο. Ακούγεται πολύ αν περπατά απλά κάποιος απ τον πάνω όροφο. Το μεγαλύτερο θέμα είναι ότι δεν υπάρχει καθόλου συσκότιση.

Че вътре е прекалено тъмно , и депресиращо , няма плочки на пода, гол бетон и не придава никакъв уют, а точно обратното без чехли е всякаш ходиш по улицата , банята също е тъмна и гадна

We absolutely loved staying at Evans House! We chose it especially for the terrace, which was perfect for relaxing in the evenings when our son was too tired to go out. We also loved the open-plan space. The location was fantastic — just 2–3 minutes from the beach, which was never crowded, and only a 10–15 minute walk to the Venetian Harbour. We loved being in a quiet area while still being so close to everything. The apartment had everything we needed, even though we didn’t cook. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely choose Evans House again when we return to Crete. Highly recommended!

The only small thing that was a little inconvenient for me was that the clothes hanging rail was quite high, so I needed to ask my husband to reach it for me 😊. There isn’t a huge amount of hanging space, but there are plenty of drawers, so overall it wasn’t a problem.

Sehr sauber. und in einer ruhigen, dennoch zentralen Lage.

Wir waren zu dritt in der unteren Wohnung. Ich dachte es gäbe eine Terrasse. Das Einzelbett war unterirdisch. Steinalt und durchgelen. Sollte dringend ausgetauscht werden.

L'emplacement est parfait, proche du centre. On peut se garer facilement et gratuitement !

Nu am avut apa calda mereu si proprietarul a raspuns prea târziu cand am semnalat problema.Podeaua nu era curata,era un miros de vechi a mobilei.

Location near the sea and the Venetian port.very small flat but equipped.

The apartment with one bedroom is totally misleading.when you book in booking.com you see lots of pictures that don't refer to this small flat at all. The pictures are mainly of the terrace apartment. We didn't know that we were booking a basement flat that smells of sewage. If you are 3 people not of the same family, be aware that it's very small and the third person has to go into the other bedroom to go to the toilet. We booked Evans house , but in the end we were in the other basement flat in the parallel road . The main point is that you are misled .

Nice two-room apartment, recently renovated, on the ground floor, convenient for those with strollers and/or wheelchairs in tow. Furthermore, although very close to the seafront full of clubs, it is in a really quiet location, far from the noise and there is always a place for the car.

Deux sur les trois chambres proposées sont viellottes, sombres et bruyantes, situées au RDC. Dans la partie rénovée, à l'étage, il n'y a pas de chambre, le lit double et le canapé lit sont dans le salon, donc pas d'intimité possible. La literie n'est pas bonne. Nous n'y sommes restés que 2 nuits, mais c'était le pire logement de notre séjour et le plus cher. Je déconseille.

Location and host is great, very close to the beach and harbour

Although I like brutalist style this had a feeling of not being finished, especially concrete floors. No ventilation in bathroom which leads to issues with dampness and mold on the shower. We stayed at ground floor apartment on other side of the building from main entrance

Close to port and beach.

Bare concrete flloors, bare light bulbs, ,inconvenient layout of suute, lack of kichcen knives and whisk, no hot water after firsrt shower and none at all on third day.,street parking difficult to find.

It was really close to the sea and it has an interesting interior design.

We didn’t have hot water the first night and next morning(the solar panels didn’t heat the water enough).

It was perhaps 100metres further away from the harbour than I expected but this was not a problem

Lokalizacja jest doskonala, bardzo blisko morza, sklepow i restauracji. Polecam obiekt serdecznie. Na pewno tam wroce. Pobyt w obiekcie byl wspanialy.

Wyrzucanie zuzytego papieru toaletowego do kosza. Problem ze skontaktowaniem sie z obiektem po powrocie.

The house rooms were very comfortable and well equipped. A lovely and traditional place near the seaside. A good place to start walks in the evening or to go shopping or dining in the city center. We would come again.

The property was clean and modern. The location was good as well. There is a baggage hold option which is helpful if you’re island hopping. The host was accommodating, friendly, and helpful. She was responsive via WhatsApp to any questions we had. If I returned to Chania I would stay here again and would recommend this option to others as well!

Ήταν πολύ καλά εξοπλισμένο, άνετο και κεντρικό.

Είναι στο ισόγειο και δεν μπορείς εύκολα να ανοίξεις παράθυρο χωρις να έχεις οπτική επαφή με τον δρόμο -αλλαγή κουρτινών θα βοηθούσε.

The location was amazing and you have all the amenities you need close by

The top neighbours were quite noisy and sometimes was difficult to get to sleep. After asking them to calm down, everything was fine.

La posizione è fantastica non nel centro storico ma a pochi metri dal mare dove si può fare un tuffo in una acqua cristallina e vicinissimo al tutti i ristoranti del lungomare. 10 minuti e si arriva nel centro storico. Ma il.grande plus della struttura è che chi è con la macchina può caricare e scaricare davanti la struttura e volendo se i giorni sono festivi la sciare l'auto sotto casa diversamente c'è 7n parcheggio al momento gratuito a 5 minuti a piedi.

La casa è molto spaziosa ben organizzata e ristrutturata con gusto unico neo il bagno piccolo rispetto al resto e con cabina doccia da rivedere.

La decoración tipo industrial. Tenía cápsulas de café para por lo menos, la mañana siguiente. Muy cerca de la playa, zona de restaurantes...

Al reservar con el filtro "párking" aparecía dicho alojamiento. No lo tiene, hay que aparcar en la calle y un día que llegamos después de las 20:00 fue imposible encontrar un sitio. Más de 20 minutos para encontrar un hueco .a 10 minutos del alojamiento.

The house is very cute. It’s in a strategic position in Chania, you can easily reach the Old Town in a few minutes walking. The host is very kind and available for any necessity. Really good experience!

Tutto perfetto. La casa è meravigliosa, con cura dei dettagli, arredamento. Bellissimo terrazzo arredato. Parcheggio comodo in strada. Posizione comodissima al centro. Entusiasti, ci è dispiaciuto andarcene!!!!

Apartament renovat amb tot detall. Situació molt bona, prop del centre i en un lloc tranquil. S'aparca bé al mateix carrer o voltants.

La cortina no tapa la llum.

Large, comfortable area. Bed was comfortable. Air conditioner was great. Close to the beach and easy to walk to any restaurants and shops. Parking was tight at night but much easier here than in old town. Love the back porch with lots of space to dry our machine washed clothes.

Evan’s House was a lovely place in a perfect location for walking to the water and restaurants. It is beautifully designed for couples and the terrace is lovely.

Rigtig fin oplevelse. Fuldt udstyret køkken, endda med olivenolie og Raki. Eneste minus er, at varmtvandsbeholderen hurtigt løber tom.

The house is located in Koum Kapi, a neighbourhood adjacent to the city of Chania. We spent 3 days/2 nights and walked to the city every time. It was a pleasant 10-minute walk and an opportunity to see the surrounding areas. The house is modern, comfortable, has all amenities and street parking. It is just a few metres away from Koum Kapi beach so you can swim in the area even if you don't have a car. The hosts were warm and welcoming, and easy to reach. Overall, we will gladly stay at Evans House next time we are in Chania.

Siisti ja silmää miellyttävä majotus hyvällä sijainnilla rannan vieressä. Rauhallinen turvallinen alue. Toimiva ilmastointi ja hyvä varustelutaso.

Evans House is located in the Koum Kapi area which is about a 10-15 minute walk into the main hustle and bustle of Chania and its historic and tourist-draw historic old town. There is a mini market a few minutes walk from the apartment as well as a bakery next door to the mini market. The bus from the airport can drop you off at the Stadium bus stop which is about a 3-4 minute walk away. The sea front with tons of cute restaurants and cafes is barely a minute's stroll from Evans House. This is a quiet residential area and I felt very safe walking back to the apartment at night with my children. The apartment has outside lights that illuminate the building after dark which is a very nice touch. We (family of 3) stayed in the apartment upstairs which is laid out in an open plan style. It had high vaulted ceilings, stone walls and everything we needed for a comfortable stay including great air conditioning (it was blisteringly hot during our July stay). We didn't wind up cooking so can't comment on the stove etc but having a washing machine was incredibly useful and there was a large clothes horse provided for us to hang up washing on the terrace. The terrace itself was gorgeous and I loved and appreciated all the beautiful plants that the hosts had placed around the terrace. It was very peaceful and relaxing to sit out there among the plants whilst enjoying a cup of coffee (there were three different types of coffee makers provided as well). There were also lovely olive themed toiletries (shower gel, soap, shampoo and body lotion) provided in the bathroom. The only minor suggestion I would make for the hosts is to perhaps install a few more hooks or an extra towel rail in the bathroom.

I had kept the host informed of my arrival including messaging about my flight delay and also sent an update when I landed in Chania but when I went to the apartment there wasn't anyone there to meet me and I had to send texts and tried calling the host a few times which went unanswered. It was a bit stressful but Dani the host showed up after 15 minutes and all was well. Even with this hiccup, it didn't mar my stay and I would still recommend it if you're after a beautiful, well equipped and comfortable apartment in the area.

Tolle Lage, nur wenige Meter zum Strand und zu den Restaurants und Bars der Strandpromenade. Zur Altstadt etwas weiter, aber gut erreichbar. Wohnung war einfach, aber vollständig eingerichtet. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt.

They said there was going to be a cleaning service after 3 days but there was no cleaning service, so no clean towels or bedding.

The apartment is nicely renovated and well equipped. The location is great. The bed was super comfy. Kind staff.

The apartment is dark (gives a sense of being in a cellar) and cold, and the living room has no AC, so it's not really cozy if you want to spend time inside.

We thought we’d be on the 1st floor but we were in fact put into an apartment in a st behind the st that is advertised on www and the studio was below street level. Studio was unfinished looking & in a grungy looking st. Not so comfortable although the bed was comfortable. They need to have instructions in English on how to use cook top. We couldn’t get it going & to stay on. Asked for assistance & they quickly came to help & after quite some time, they got it to work, but didn’t know how they managed it and couldn’t describe how they did it. 😊

the location was great. few minutes walking from metro station and from train station (train from the airport)'. many restaurants around the apartment. supermarket in the corner. the neighborhood felt safe to us. the hostess was available and helps us with everything we needed.

the sofa was not so comfortable for sleeping.

A beautiful restoration of an old building. It has great space with a couch and table in a separate room. We were in a ground floor apartment at the non parking side of the building, it was quietly residential. The area is perfect for a stroll into the walled old Chania with lots of restaurants along the water only about 100 m from the property. There are some small zany beaches there too. A great stay in a tasteful well positioned property with very helpful and accessible owners.

Cosy apartment ideally sited to explore the old town of Chania. A bit difficult to find but frienfly hosts were quick to help. Complimentary home made raki snd olive oil too 😀

Squeaky roller door to bathroom but thats being very picky

Location just a short walk from the city center.

We stayed in the ground floor apartment. It felt a bit compact and dark, making it feel somewhat confined. The single bed was very small and didn't offer much comfort.

The host was very welcoming and gave us home pressed olive oil and a bottle of rakia. The location was excellent and the parking easy. The host recommended a local seafood restaurant that was excellent and great value.

We were awakened by other guests who arrived at 1.30am in the morning. Maybe the host needs to have a key safe to facilitate entry after hours...

Great location, beautiful accommodation and lovely host. Will definitely be back!

Nice place in a nice loaction

This funky little apartment exceeded our expectations. Great location, well equipped and comfortable. Easy parking outside if you have a car.

Close walking distance to the town. Host provided excellent recommendations for food and activities. Very welcoming and was there for all of our requests. Highly recommend you stay here!

We used Evans House as a quick overnight stop before travelling on to our holiday villa the next day. In spite of our late arrival, our host was happy to come and open up the property for us. The facilities were great, very modern and smart. If you're a family of four, then the sleeping arrangements may be tricky (two doubles in the same room), but if you're flexible, it's not really an issue. Take not of the phone number in your confirmation email to enable quick contact.

Excellent location of the apartment, a short walk from the centre. Everything clean. The apartment had all the necessary equipment, including washing machine, everything looks new, modern. Functional air conditioning. For our purpose - 2 nights in Chania ideal. The ground floor apartment is darker, which might bother some for a long stay, however at least it wasn't that hot inside.

Amazing accommodation with perfect equipment. Location was also very good. We really enjoyed it.
