The location is excellent. We were able to walk to all the main sights in Porto during our stay, and we never needed to use the car or public transport. Rua de Santa Catarina, one of Porto’s most important traditional shopping streets, is just a short walk away. The Mercado do Bolhão is also within easy walking distance, and there are plenty of places to eat both inside the market and in the surrounding streets. After entering the property, you pass several other rental apartments before reaching a lovely, green courtyard. Guests can sit and relax or have a meal there if they wish. Our apartment was a duplex with a mezzanine, which worked particularly well for our family. It would be a great option for families with older children, as they can climb up to the mezzanine and have their own space. Children will probably enjoy going up and down the stairs, while still being able to look down over the main sleeping area below. As the apartment is located further inside the building, it was also very quiet. The apartment was clean and the furnishings and equipment were relatively new. The kitchen was well equipped. Some basic supplies were also provided, including small packets of salt, wine vinegar (Vinagre de vinho) and extra virgin olive oil (Azeite virgem extra), which was a nice touch. For parking, we used an indoor car park nearby. The property provides a voucher that can be scanned when paying, which gives guests a discount on the parking fee.

Lage ist ok, direkt an der Shoppingmeile in Porto. Sehenswürdigkeiten auch alle gut fußläufig zu erreichen. Parken konnten wir problemlos dazubuchen und war auch sehr unkompliziert, da es in unmittelbarer Nähe zur Wohnung war.

Auf den ersten Blick war das Zimmer vollkommen in Ordnung. Bei genauerer Betrachtung ist uns aber aufgefallen, dass es nicht allzu sauber ist. Die Klimaanlage war schimmelig, wodurch wir den ganzen Urlaub über diese nicht anmachen konnten. Dadurch, dass eine häufiger mal befahrene Straße direkt vor der Haustür war, konnten wir auch nicht mit offenem Fenster schlafen, weil es sehr laut war. Und bei der Dusche ist ständig die Tür aus der Führung entgegen gefallen.

Het geluid van buiten hoor je te hard. En ook als mensen boven het appartement bewegen dan hoor je dat heel goed.

Wir hatten ein paar sehr schöne Tage in dieser schönen kleinen Wohnung im Herzen Portos. Alles fußläufig erreichbar, mitten drin aber trotzdem sehr ruhig, mit sehr nettem Kontakt zu den Vermietern. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Tolle, zentrale Lage! Man kann fußläufig alles erkunden. Parkhaus ist ums Eck, man bekommt Rabatt. Sehr nettes Personal am Empfang, wir haben gleich eine Straßenkarte mit Tipps bekommen. Super Raumaufteilung, perfekt geeignet für 3 Personen. Frühstücksservice top!

Unfortunately the parking was extremely difficult to get to and despite organising and paying we ended up parking elsewhere to avoid further stress.

Die Unterkunft liegt sehr zentral, war gut ausgestattet und sauber. Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit in Porto und würden die Unterkunft jederzeit weiterempfehlen.

De locatie en het appartement waren geweldig. De accomodatie was super schoon en tussendoor zijn de handdoeken vervangen.

Impossible to sleep with seagulls at your window all night long; parking at a discounted rate, but only if you don't use Via Verde (which nobody tells you about); there's not a single bedside lamp in the whole apartment, if you need to go to toilet during night you'll wake up the whole apartment; no ceiling light in bathroom, need to shower in the dark; hand shower didn't work, only rain shower.

La climatisation en panne, remplaçée par une climatisation mobile qui fuyait. On a dû éponger l'eau sur le sol en rentrant le soir

The room was very large and had two well-sized double bedrooms and a small but adequate bathroom with a powerful shower. It was very clean and well decorated. There was a coffee machine and they provided some coffee pods which was a welcome touch! The kitchen is fantastic and you could cook a full meal here no problem although we didn’t do that. AC worked well throughout. There is an option to sit outside in the shared garden which we liked. The location is great — 5 min walk to Bolhao metro station or a 15 min walk into the centre.

We were on the ground floor and I’m not sure if it was other guests or the cleaner but they woke us up stomping around & dragging furniture every morning at 7am, which was a bit frustrating.

We zaten op het 2 de verdiep. Jammer dat er geen lift was. Met grote zware valiezen op die trap. Is zeer luidruchtig voor de andere mensen.

Fantastic central location, perfect for exploring Porto on foot. - The apartment was really unique and stylish, with lots of character. - It felt exceptionally clean and well cared for. - The beds were very comfortable. - Overall, the apartment was lovely and we really enjoyed staying here.

The children’s sleeping area was on a mezzanine, accessed by a very steep ladder. - We found the ladder quite dangerous, particularly with children, and were worried about one of them waking during the night and falling down it. - We think the mezzanine and steep ladder should be made much more explicit in the property description, as it may have affected our choice of apartment.

L'accès à la mezzanine se fait par une échelle, et plafond assez bas. Convient a des enfants 6-8 ans mais pas pour des adultes. Pas d'indications quant aux locaux pour les poubelles, du coup on a vidé nos ordures dans une grande poubelle qui etait dehors mais pas sur que ce soit le bon circuit

Tolles Appartement im Hinterhof, daher schön ruhig, obwohl es zentral liegt. Sehr freundlicher Empfang. Gut ausgestattet und sehr sauber.

Het appartement in ruim en heel schoon. De entree en hal lijken onlangs gerenoveerd. Het appartement is vrij luxe. Het grote bed dat je op de foto ziet ligt heerlijk. Er is ook nog een bed op de vide erboven. Die is wat kleiner, maar ligt ook prima.

Het bed op de vide is best krap.

Mooi proper appartement… heel verzorgd. Gelegen midden in het centrum van Porto, vlakbij winkel en restaurantjes. Top!

De trappen naar het derde verdiep zorgden voor een goede workout 😉

Space, layout and location

Some issues with fixtures ans fittings. Particularly, door knob on inside of door was hanging off and electrical socket on the left opposite the kitchen area was coming away from wall. These where both reported to reception.

Perfect location, in the middle of the city center. Easy check-in / check-out.

We booked a room with 2 bedrooms and a terrace at 1st floor and we got a suite (open living, kitchen, bed and an extra bed on top, as a loft) without terrace, at the 3rd floor.

Great central location. Nice bright apartment style room with a good balcony. AC unit worked well.

Shower button to turn it from hand shower to rainfall wouldn’t work properly. Water pressure was terrible. Two days in to the stay it seems our towels were replaced but the room wasn’t cleaned, bed wasn’t changed and there were no more coffee pods left. Two coffee pods for a 5 night stay is stingey. One of the shudders didn’t close properly so was bright in the mornings. Quite loud in the street and from people upstairs or in the stairwell.

Maria, the front desk manager, is extremely helpful and nice. We can’t thank her enough for the help she provided. The appartments are very clean, location is great, walking minutes to center, safe neighbourhood. The breakfast package was great. Check-in was easy and paid parking was at the corner of the street. Great find!

The flat is new, large, spacious and very attractive, with lovely, sturdy furniture; everything is very clean and tidy. There is soap and shampoo, towels, a dishwasher and dishwasher tablets, washing-up liquid and sponges, tea, sugar and coffee; the fridge has been cleaned and is odour-free. The flat is well-maintained. The air conditioning works perfectly, and the windows keep out the noise from the street. The flat is simply incredible!

La casetta era molto accogliente ed esteticamente gradevole. La posizione fantastica vicino al centro! Parcheggio comodo e indispensabile.

Il parcheggio va pagato come extra ed è un po' caro (18 € al giorno)

Le logement est spacieux, literie confortable, bien équipé et pas très loin de la rue Ste Catherine, rue commercante. Plutôt bien insonorisé. Les consignes pour entrer dans l'appartement sont bien claires.

Je pensais qu'il y avait un accueil, que c'était un hôtel. L'accueil est à 2 portes à côté dans la rue, ne soyez pas surpris. Le petit déjeuner n'est pas aussi copieux que ce que j'avais pu lire dans certains commentaires, il est bien mais pour moi, il manque un morceau de pain supplémentaire, yaourt et sachet de thé. D'après les photos lors de la réservation, je pensais avoir une terrasse extérieure, mais non, la réservation était sans terrasse...

La posizione dell'alloggio e' molto comoda per raggiungere il centro

E' andato tutto bene ma se devo dire, a differenza della foto su Booking dove si vedeva il balcone, il nostro appartamento non lo aveva. Altra cosa, che a qualcuno potrebbe dare fastidio, il soppalco ha un'altezza molto bassa, occorre stare accucciati.

La atención y el apartamento

L’emplacement, le style de l’appartement et de l’immeuble, la propreté, la climatisation, l’accueil en bas et une personne disponible en cas de besoin. La réactivité d’une responsable même à 5h du matin quand le taxi n’est pas venu nous chercher.

Le lit en mezzanine, la hauteur était très très basse, on ne tenait pas assis dans le lit. Nous ne l’avions pas vu dans l’annonce, comme nous étions 4 adultes, de + 50 ans, nous aurions apprécié le savoir au préalable.

Escaliers et les marches dans patio avec des hauteurs hors normes.

Muy incómodo, escaleras empinadas y peligrosas para acceder a la cama de arriba, calor mucho calor, tienen un aire acondicionado portátil que necesita de un tubo para coger aire del exterior y necesita que la ventana esté abierta.., por lo tanto entra calor y no enfría bien el apartamento y el recipiente que recoge el agua se desbordaba todos los días y mojaba el suelo de la habitación,

les appartements qui donnent sur une cours intérieur. très très agréable c'est douce tranquilité. la taille des logements (nous avions 2 studios et 1 appartement 2 chambre. la climatisation, la déco très chaleureuse

le fait qu'il n'y ait qu'une capsule à café pour 2 matins. Ou alors au moins dire qu'ils vendent du café. avec une bonne machine nespresso c'est dommage de se contenter que d'un café :-). La douche à réviser, le douchette ne fonctionnait pas donc que le pomeau du haut (pas idéal si on ne veut pas se laver les cheveux). pour info il y a une chaise cassée sur la terrasse du studio au 1er étage.

Inadequate shelving space for clothing. It was unseasonably cold in Porto that week but there was no extra bed covering other than a spare duvet - which meant that one of us felt a little cold in bed.

The room is nice, clean and spacious. The breakfast is delivered to the room with good quality and variety. Excellent location with easy access to public transportation and city highlights.

Did not realize that we had to carry our luggage up to 4th floor and the steps are higher than usual in these older buildings.

Appartement calme, spacieux avec des espaces lumineux et très propres. Logement situé à proximité du centre historique et du marché de Bolhao, conforme au descriptif transmis lors de la réservation. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la gentillesse et la disponibilité des hôtesses d'accueil qui ont su répondre à nos questions.

It was very clean, had everything we needed and was in the perfect location to pop down into Porto.

Fast check-in at reception and easy access to the apartment using both a key and access code. The location is excellent, within walking distance of Porto’s main attractions. The apartment is perfect for a couple or a small family, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Highly recommended, and we would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Porto!

O ar condicionado não funcionava. Reclamamos vários dias sobre o ar condicionado que não refrigerava e mesmo assim, não arrumaram. Passamos três noites com muito calor na casa
