Spotlessly clean staff amazing yet again

Stayed there a few times before and like the location and the fact that it’s not too big. Breakfast is good. Very clean and tidy. Wry comfortable bed and really good aircon.

Rooms comfortable but fairly basic. No tissues in the bathroom. Shower is in the bath and can be a little tricky getting in and out. Probably needs upgrading to walk in shower as many hotels have these days.

It requires proper maintenance. It is clean but old. Minor issues to fix.

The rest of it, no late checkout for guests & we were told they had rooms with shower facilities & the rooms they gave us were rooms that everyone uses after coming out of the pool, disgusting. The rooms were not cleaned properly on a daily basis, the cups & glasses were removed & cleaned periodically, we had to put them on floor to get them removed or cleaned. Never go there again.

Quarto com pouca arrumação de camisas, não tem estendal para secar toalhas e fatos de banho.

Foi realmente de uma simpatia desde as empregadas de limpeza ao restaurante e receção que sentimo-nos em casa obrigado a todos. Limpeza muito boa a piscina no topo impecável e excelente descanso.

Beautiful hotel in a great location, close to shops, bars and restaurants but still peaceful. We were warmly greeted on arrival, it was nice to sit down on comfy seats at Reception. Our room was ready for us, so check in went smoothly. The room was really lovely, clean and spacious, with comfortable beds, and the bathroom a good shower, a bidet, toiletries and a hairdryer. There was under sink storage too. There was a safe in the room, plenty of space in the wardrobe and drawers for clothes and we had a decent sized balcony with chairs and a table. There were plenty of choices for delicious breakfasts and all the team were very friendly and helpful. The rooftop pool and bar area was great, with fantastic views and we enjoyed cocktails and wine up there. We didn't use the spa or gym, but was good to know they were there and looked like there were some really good treatments and packages available. It was a pleasant walk to the beautiful beach, which wasn't far away. Only a couple of things that we felt could be improved, it would have been nice to have a bath in the bathroom and also the surface of the desk was scuffed and needed painting or replacing. We tried to book a table in the restaurant for our first night there, we were told it was fully booked but it didn't seem full when we saw it at different points of the night. We didn't try and book again, but there were plenty of great choices in town to eat, so it was ok but it would have been nice to eat there as I had read really good reviews of the food. We would definitely stay at this hotel again though, it was our first ever visit to Portugal and so glad we chose this resort and The Prime Energize.

O serviço durante o pequeno-almoço e o jantar não era fantástico apesar de alguns funcionários esforçados. Alguns funcionários não se equiparam à qualidade do hotel/comida pelo que o serviço em horas de ponta tem algumas dificuldades.

Barulho dos hóspedes e serviço de bar muito caro.

A estadia foi excelente os funcionarios são muito simpaticos o quarto sempre muito limpo , um optimo pequeno almoço e a localização do hotel é optima apenas existe alguma dificuldade para conseguir estacionamento no parque do hotel.

Las personas que trabajaban en el alojamiento eran muy agradables. El personal de comedor, igual y se veía que había muy buen ambiente entre ellos. El acceso al Spa libre y muy tranquilo. Los niños menores de 12 años pueden entrar por la mañana. Tenían servicio gratuito de toallas, tanto para la piscina, Spa como para llevar a la playa. Tuvimos un problema con la descripción de la habitación en la plataforma y lo solucionaron rápidamente con una cama supletoria, así como con un detalle en la habitación.

A great choice for a stay at Monte Gordo. The room was huge, with a balcony and the biggest bed I've ever slept in. But what really made the stay so great was the hotel staff. So welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was the usual buffet style. The roof top pool was busy at times but a really nice place to be.

Staff, room and pools were great.

The sports facilities were not as described. Website suggests that there are partnerships and links to all sorts, but when we asked to do paddleboarding and Padel we were just given an out of date leaflet and had to sort it out ourselves.

The hotel is in a quite area and was exceptionally clean. Does have a beautiful roof top pool as well as spa with indoor pool that are also maintained at top standard. Room was clean and maintaned clean every day . Staff is very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was standard but good quality. I would return to this are and hotel if I would have the opportunity.

Bed was a bit hard but that is subjective and only that I prefere a slightly softer bed but otherwise was ok.

La ubicación y la amabilidad del personal

La limpieza de las habitaciones, en especial las camas hechas estirando la colcha por encima con toda la sabana bajera arrugada, sin sacudir ni estirar. Uno de los días eche el albornoz a lavar para que se lo llevaran y me lo volvieron a colgar sucio en el baño. Por lo demás el hotel está bien, con una distribución un poco rara de las habitaciones, pero bien. La piscina del tejado y los masajes del spa lo mejor del hotel sin duda. Me gustaría hacer una sugerencia , no creo que el Spa sea un lugar de juego para niños la verdad, si estás dándote un masaje relajante (que no es precisamente barato) no es para estar oyendo gritos, saltos al agua, y vocerío allí mismo. Por lo menos el Spa debería reservarse solo para adultos.

Pedimos cama de casal e deram-nos duas camas de solteiro juntas uma à outra. Os colchões eram um pouco mais rijos do que o expectável para um hotel de 4 estrelas. O chuveiro não tinha pressão e a água estava sempre a ficar fria. O autoclismo demorava imenso a encher e fazia imenso barulho. No anúncio dizia que os quartos são insonorizados, mas ouvia-se tudo. Apareceu uma barata enorme junto ao elevador e tivemos de pedir 3 vezes para irem tratar do assunto. Quando estávamos a fazer check-in pediram-nos inicialmente um cartão de crédito para cobrarem os gastos extra, mas depois lá nos deram a opção de pagar na hora esses gastos. No anúncio diz que não tem estacionamento disponível, mas afinal têm estacionamento, mediante disponibilidade e pagamento extra (15€/noite)

Gostei muito da localização, do espaço da suíte. O restaurante é muito bom, assim como a piscina exterior.

Não adorei o facto de a cama na minha suite ser encostada à parede, apesar de o quarto ter muito espaço

Great location few minutes walk to the lovely beach. Very clean place. We had a very relaxing and pleasant stay. There are two pools on-site plus a gym. Pool and beach towels are complimentary. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Half board was fine, but the food lacked creativity and the menu was very repetitive. For vegetarians, options were limited to basic carbs like rice or pasta, plus two boiled vegetables. More variety would help.

I am currently staying at this hotel. The staff are excellent. Nothing is too much trouble. They work very hard and should be highly rewarded. Hotel is clean and comfortable. Food good. It's near to the beach and very central. What's not to like?

Sala de refeições muito pequena para o movimento em causa , serviço de cafe por maquina selfservice muito defeciente obrigando os clientes a estarem em filas.Hotel com 4 estrelas muito debéis.

A localização é ótima e o staff muito atencioso e organizado. O pequeno almoço é realmente bom, tem boa variedade e tudo muito bem confeccionado!

Gostámos muito da nossa estadia no The Prime Energize Hotel & SPA. Todo o staff foi cinco estrelas, sempre simpático, atencioso e disponível, recebendo os clientes com um sorriso no rosto. Realizei duas massagens linfáticas com a Sofia e não poderia ter ficado mais satisfeita. O preço pareceu-me perfeitamente normal para o serviço prestado, mas aquilo que mais se destacou foram as mãos de fada da Sofia. Foi uma experiência verdadeiramente relaxante e muito agradável. O pequeno almoço era excelente, muito variado e de grande qualidade. Também apreciámos bastante as refeições no hotel. A equipa da limpeza merece igualmente cinco estrelas pelo cuidado e profissionalismo demonstrados. A piscina exterior, a piscina interior e o SPA, de utilização gratuita, são muito agradáveis e proporcionam excelentes momentos de descanso. O hotel também dispõe de ginásio gratuito. O nosso quarto tinha uma vista maravilhosa, sobretudo ao final do dia, quando conseguíamos apreciar um pôr do sol lindíssimo. Os funcionários da receção foram sempre simpáticos, embora, por vezes, parecessem um pouco mais distraídos. Ainda assim, a experiência global foi muito positiva. Foi uma estadia muito agradável, num ambiente acolhedor e tranquilo. Recomendamos e esperamos regressar!

Alguns guarda sóis da piscina exterior encontravam-se danificados e, em determinados períodos, a piscina ficava com demasiadas pessoas, o que retirava alguma tranquilidade ao espaço.

First impression good. Friendly staff . Nice location and beautiful beach. Spa and indoor pool very pleasant. Rooftop outdoor pool disappointing as pool ladder loose and wobbly and umbrellas very worn and unstable. Bath surface very worn and slippery. Housekeeping a bit hit and miss. We were left without toilet paper and freshly made bed had spots and streaks of blood on duvet. Both issues quickly resolved. Breakfast service didn’t flow very well and staff struggled to keep up despite working flat out.

Staff & Location are perfect. Ample parking, Excellent food and staff at Fuel restaurant inside for Breakfast & Dinner. Very nice Rooftop Pool with Cabana for drink service. 5 min walk to Beach,Boardwalk, restaurants and shops. This was our 2nd stay in 2 years and always pleased.

I wish there were full shower glass doors, vs only half. Its difficult not to get the bathroom floor wet. (Perhaps not all rooms are the same) Perhaps a vending Machine for quick grab snacks or drinks.

Nice hotel with modern facilities within a short walking distance to the beach. We had dinner at the Beach restaurant and it was excellent - perfect place for sunset!

Adorámos a atmosfera do hotel, bem como a simpatia e disponibilidade de toda a equipa. A vista é excelente. A piscina interior funciona mediante marcação, mas tudo está muito bem organizado e decorre de forma eficiente.

O pequeno-almoço foi agradável, mas notou-se alguma confusão durante os períodos de maior afluência. Com o hotel em elevada ocupação, o espaço de circulação torna-se um pouco limitado, o que pode afetar o conforto dos hóspedes.

Quarto espaçoso

Apenas havia uma cadeira no quarto. Uma segunda cadeira seria bom. (Não tendo a ver directamente com o alojamento… os funcionários do restaurante -embora muito educados e simpáticos - revelaram alguma desconcentração e baralharam o pedido trazendo pratos trocados e acompanhamento não solicitado. Não voltámos, ficou riscado como opção para refeições.)

Recepção 24h essencial para quem chega de vôos tardes, como foi meu caso. Tinha um welcome drink e frutas frescas no quarto no dia de chegada, achei atencioso. Café da manhã excelente, com muita variedade e suco de laranja fresco muito gostoso. Restaurante preço alto como se espera de hotel, mas qualidade excepcional; tudo delicioso! A massagem energize foi maravilhosa, recomendo super. Quarto sempre bem limpo todos os dias, importantíssimo considerando que é em área costeira e acaba-se trazendo areia para o quarto depois dos passeios.

O quarto tinha um cheiro um pouco estranho. O chuveiro vazava bastante água no chão, isso era chato. A piscina do hotel era pequena e sempre cheia de gente. O restaurante no café da manhã estava sempre lotado. A localização é muito perto da praia, 5 minutos à pé eu diria (o que em si era ótimo!). Entretanto a cidade de Monte Gordo é uma localização sem graça na região de Algarve. Eu esperava conseguir usar mais as bicicletas gratuitas do hotel, mas muitos hóspedes devolviam sem a chave do cadeado e impediam assim que outros pudessem usar. A bicicleta que eu peguei uma única vez não estava em ótimas condições.

Qualidade e variedade do pequeno-almoço, incluindo sumos naturais. Dimensão do quarto, muito espaçoso. Staff atencioso.

I don't know if they were training staff for the summer, but the service in the restaurant and bar was slow and some staff seemed unsure about what their job was. We asked if we could have a buffet meal one night as the rest of the family had booked half board, and were charged 30 euros per person for a 10 euros meal.

El desayuno y la cena excelentes, todo fue genial aunque la piscina es muy pequeña y se pueden esmerar un poco más en la limpieza de las habitaciones.

De todo o staff. Nota 20 para a simpatia, fomos mesmo muito bem recebidos, na recepção, no restaurante e no bar da piscina exterior. Adorámos a gentileza de emprestarem as bicicletas, excelente meio de transporte para ir à praia e conhecer Monte Gordo.

Sinceramente não houve nada que não gostássemos. Sendo que o pequeno almoço podia ser um pouco mais variado e não havia opção de descafeinado. No entanto queremos salientar e dar os parabéns por terem sumo de laranja natural, espremido na hora infelizmente há cada vez menos nos hotéis.

After a 6 am flight I arrived at about 10 am , I didn’t expect my room to be ready then but I would have hoped for a bit of flexibility but there was none ,I was told to come back at 3pm I went up to the pool on the roof which is absolutely tiny with very few loungers , all were taken including 2 that had towels on them but no one came to them in the 5 hours that I was there but no staff thought to move them even though many people were waiting for a lounger Tried again to see if my room was ready at 2.45pm but no , this is despite the fact I saw other people being checked in , it was eventually ready at 3.05 pm Room seemed clean and tidy but the toilet was constantly running and the safe didn’t work , the safe was sorted but I was told the toilet would be looked at the next day , I was also told they were looking to see if they could upgrade me , the next day no one fixed the toilet and when I asked about the upgrade they acted as if they didn’t know what I was talking about Woke early most mornings by the barking dogs in the apartments opposite Breakfast was pretty dismal rubbery scramble eggs , greasy bacon , coffee from a machine to put in your tiny thimble like cup that was only a bit smaller than the breakfast plates Be aware that there is no specific bar area , the bar consists of the counter that is in the breakfast area which also doubles up as the restaurant area Other than the rooftop pool there is also no other outdoor space where you could sit and have a drink and for some bizarre reason the doors are locked to get there until 10am and the refreshments bar doesn’t open until about 11am Also don’t expect to be able to get a drink after 12 as it is deserted ,oh and apparently you can get room service but no menus in your room as apparently your meant to do it on a app

Our studio was very nice and comfortable, everything was clean and we had a great time on the terrace, watching the stars at night, sunbathing during the day. Breakfast was delicious and with many options. The pool inside was heated, a blessing. Staff was friendly and helpful. The beach is very close, we had a great time here.

Plus side Hotel staff were exceptionally helpful especially the restaurant staff. Rooms cleaned daily although not at regular times. Nice supply of toiletries, clean towels etc. Hotel situated only 2 rows back from main drag so a very nice location. Breakfast could be somewhat chaotic with the level of diners but sufficient staff to manage it all. Nice selection of food all round, meat and fish always for evening meal, amazing choice of salads and hot/ cold choices for breakfast. Minus side Our room was lovely however disappointing that the furniture showed hardship and was chipped etc. Shame when the vestibule showed such promise. Landing flooring also showed several signs of great wear. Rooftop pool is great but not many sun loungers, get there early! That said, we would definitely return. Beach has lovely soft sand, great holiday for a fly and flop.
