Hôtel charmant en mode pension de famille pour le décor. Il y a la clim... Mais je ne l'ai vue que le matin...en pleine canicule. Très bien.

Room was spacious, included a big bed and the hotel itself is nicely decorated. Air con in the room. 10 minute walk to the beach and 15 mins into the town. Host was friendly and seamless check in.

Sheets had a few marks/dirty so that could be improved. I also got bitten my quite a few mosquitos, it would be nice if they had a plug in that deters them. Halls were dark when walking to the room, would be nice if they had a sensor. All minor things.

Estaba ubicado cerca del centro de Biarritz y tiene parking gratuito alrededor. La habitación era amplia con aire acondicionado y todo muy limpio. El personal es muy atento y amable. Hemos tenido a Romain y es un encanto de persona.

La conexión de la wifi es débil.

The accommodation has been nice in a nice little villa. The room is okay in dimensions, the bathroom is okay, and the bed is okay. Staff is nice.

The common area of the villa could have been a little bit more curated, and the breakfast, not just to be ordered before, was a little bit inconvenient to have to decide if I want to have the breakfast and what I want to have. Honestly, that is the negative part, because in fact I did not order before. In the end, I ended up having two pans of chocolate and coffee because nothing else was available, but still, it's okay. The garden is not very, very nice, not very curated, and has a lot of mosquitoes.

Ничего не понравилось. Ресепшен был пустой. На сообщение в букинге никто не ответил!Спасибо хоть ключ оставили с запиской на барной стойке. В объявлении указана крытая парковка на территории КОТОРОЙ НЕТ!!!!!!!!🤬Заселение началось с беготни по городу в поисках парковки🤬🤬🤬🤷🏼‍♀️!!!! При входе в здание отвратительный запах грязи и сырости! Грязное покрытие!!! Комната выглядела абсолютно не так как была на фото!! Интернет был плохой! Номер был оплачен на три человека, но кофе и чай был для двоих , сахар вообще для одного! Лучше бы вообще ничего не предлагали. Разочарование полное! Абсолютно не соответствует описанию в букинге!! Странно почему такие большие оценки выставлены?? И столько хороших комментариев написано? Хотелось как можно быстрее уехать оттуда!

Très bon séjour ! Le staff est très gentil et l'hôtel confortable et bien équipé. En période de canicule, nous avons apprécié la climatisation.

Le confort des lits n'était pas parfait (pour des personnes qui bougent beaucoup dans leur sommeil), les matelas/surmatelas ayant un peu tendance à glisser les uns sur les autres.

The property is charming with an eclectic retro flair. The young staff are warm, welcoming and exceptionally helpful.

There isn’t really a coffee machine in the room. There is only a water boiler and powdered coffee😅 Fortunately, there is a patisserie around the corner with great cappuccinos🤗

Geruch von altem Haus, Teppich in Treppenhaus, es braucht mehr Renovation, Ablauf in der Dusche war verstopft und Wasser war sehr langsam abgelaufen

On est accueilli avec le sourire par un personnel chaleureux, efficace et à l'écoute. Un grand merci à eux en cette période de trains supprimés suite aux incendies en Gironde.

Sehr freundliches Personal. Gute Lage in alter Villa. Frühstück war einfach, aber ausreichend.

Wir hatten ein sehr kleines Zimmer, was kleiner war als alle abgebildeten Zimmer. Die Villa hat Charme, ist aber etwas in die Jahre gekommen und bräuchte vor allem auch im Bad eine Renovierung und in den Außenanlagen mehr Pflege. Kein Parkplatz.

A perfect stay in Biarritz! We had a wonderful stay at Le Saint-Charles and would be very happy to come back again. It is a small, very charming and cosy hotel with a true Biarritz atmosphere: a beautiful historic building surrounded by greenery, with a quiet garden and lovely terraces where you can enjoy a coffee in the morning or relax in the evening. The location is excellent. The hotel is in a peaceful and beautiful neighbourhood, while the beach and the ocean are only about 7–10 minutes away on foot. The city centre, restaurants and shops are also easy to reach. We arrived by car and had no problem finding a parking space very close to the hotel, on the next street. So coming by car was very convenient as well. Another big plus for us was that the hotel is pet-friendly. We were travelling with our small dog, and everything was easy and comfortable. The air conditioning was also very important. Biarritz can be quite humid, and being able to come back to a cool and comfortable room after a walk was a real lifesaver. A special thank you to Roman, who welcomed us at the reception. He was extremely polite, friendly and professional. He explained everything clearly, gave us great recommendations and did everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Thanks to people like him, you really feel welcome. The hotel is very clean, quiet and full of character. It does not feel like an anonymous hotel at all — it feels more like staying in a cosy French house. Thank you very much to the whole team at Le Saint-Charles for a wonderful stay. We would definitely come back. 10/10. Highly recommended!

Amazing staff. Let me do check-in much earlier. That was very nice as it was an intense heatwave. The location is perfect. Very quiet area, but close to the beach and city center.

Roman war ein wunderbarer, hilfsbereiter Gastgeber, der für jedes Anliegen eine Lösung fand. Von Anfang bis am Schluss des Aufenthalts um das Wohlbefinden seiner Gäste besorgt. Seine Ausflugtipps waren sehr gut. Weiter liegt das Hotel im wunderbaren, aufkommenden Quartier Saint Charles.

Das wunderbare Haus wurde punktuell renoviert, aber ist langsam in die Jahre gekommen.

Wat een leuk hotel. Het voelt direct heel vertrouwd. Leuke inrichting, superleuke ontbijtgelegenheid met goede muziek op de achtergrond. Heel rustig en perfecte ligging. En het personeel is heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

We hadden af en toe geen wifi maar als je op vakantie bent maakt dat niet zoveel uit.

The athmosphere, the deco, location, the welcoming and helpful service. Everything really. The Saint Charles is truly a delightful place to stay at, close to the commerces, cafes and restaurants of Saint Charles but also easily accessible and close to sea front and centre. I will be back on my next visit to Biarritz. Thank you everyone

Hotel was quirky, and traditional. The bathroom in the room was a little rough around the edges, and there was a drain smell that seeped through underneath the door into the bedroom. Breakfast was just coffee, a croissant, 2 fried eggs, and bread. Plus they charged us for 4 people having breakfast (only 2 of us!) and they said they could not refund on the card machine during our stay, but would do a bank transfer refund after we left our details. This never happened despite emails etc.

The location is far enough away from the centre of town to be very quiet but still close enough that it is accessible. There are excellent bakeries and restaurants in the area. The rooms are a good size, clean and the history is an aesthetic bonus. And the staff have pleasant, kind and helpful.

That i had to leave..also no milk for the coffee in the hotel room.

Voor degenen die geen trap kunnen lopen: er is geen lift. Dit viel niet tegen maar was vooraf niet helemaal duidelijk.

Sfeer, vibe, stijl, karakter en had alles, romantisch mooi boutique hotel. Goed bed, airco goede douche en toilet en genoeg haakjes voor je handdoeken, heerlijke zeep en shampoo en heerlijk geslapen geen overlast qua geluid het was muisstil.

Nous avons passé 3 jours vraiment parfaits dans cet hôtel à Biarritz. Tout était réuni pour un séjour réussi : un accueil chaleureux, un personnel toujours disponible et très sympathique, et une ambiance agréable du début à la fin. La chambre était propre, confortable et bien équipée, idéale pour se reposer après des journées à profiter de la ville et de l’océan. L’emplacement était également un vrai plus, proche de la plage et des principaux points d’intérêt.

Le personnel est très sympathique et réactif.

Un petit soucis de douche : le pommeau s'est désolidarisé du flexible. Mais le personnel a réagi rapidement afin de corriger le problème.

El hotel tiene mucho encanto. Al ser una casa muy grande con pocas habitaciones (creo que 14), te sientes en un sitio especial. El trato del personal es impecable. El desayuno buenísimo. A diez minutos andando del centro y de la playa.

Hemos pasado dos noches en el Hotel Saint Charles con nuestro perro y la experiencia ha sido fantástica. Los trabajadores son muy simpáticos y las instalaciones cumplían con nuestras expectativas. Muy buena relación calidad-precio. Recomendamos reservar parking privado con ellos porque es realmente cómodo. Para repetir y recomendar sin duda

L’hôtel est vraiment charmant, très différent des hôtels modernes et classiques, ce qui lui donne un côté unique et un peu atypique. Il est idéalement situé, sur la ligne directe de bus vers la gare et à seulement 10 minutes à pied de la plage. Le personnel est adorable et nous a recommandé plein de super adresses de restaurants et de bars. Merci pour tout, nous avons passé un excellent séjour !

The room aesthetic was typical French Basque. It was minimalist and pretty. Rooms and washrooms were pretty clean.

One of the twin bed's pillow had hair previously on them.

La ubicación es muy buena. El edificio exterior muy bonito, pero algo descuidado. Disponía la habitación de calentador de agua y una pequeña nevera. Personal de recepción muy amable.

Reservamos habitación para tres personas, y solo hubo dos vasos y dos tazas durante toda la estancia. Únicamente disponíamos de una toalla por persona. Estaba algo deteriorada la habitación, y especialmente descuidado el baño. Al menos nuestra habitación y el baño precisan una remodelación.

Le petit-déjeuner (formule classique) était exclusivement sucré : les viennoiseries étaient nombreuses et très bonnes. Personnellement, j’aurais aimé avoir un yaourt ou un fruit pour plus de variété.

L’équipement de la salle de bains était un peu désuet, et la télévision fonctionnait… ou pas 🙂

Superbe accueil, Roman à été au petit soin et nous a donné de super conseil. Nous avons pris le petit dej, simple mais de qualité. L’emplacement est idéal proche de tout et au calme

Нам понравилось все! Сам отель, интерьер, расположение, приветливый персонал - все было превосходно. Уютный отель в центральном районе города. Рядом с пляжем и основными достопримечательностями.

у отеля нет собственной парковки, а найти публичный паркинг вечером оказалось непростой задачей. В остальном же все было прекрасно. Завтрак, пожалуй, немного разочаровал.
