Inn On The Coast

This was the only hotel on our trip that had no problems with parking. We had a large, clean, and comfortable room in which we slept very well. Very friendly and helpful staff. Hotel seems to have been recently decorated inside public areas and rooms with a fresh and contemporary look. We only had evening meals (not breakfast) in the Bistro. Then back to food and service were very good.

We cannot fault the hotel, but the atmosphere was somehow business travel rather than holiday.

Extremely friendly staff. Made to feel very welcome. Food in attached restaurant/pub was excellent. Book a table ahead though as it was very busy on a Saturday night and we had to wait an hour. Pet friendly, not just pet tolerant. Good location. Large room with bath.

My fried breakfast was disappointing. Under cooked poached egg and a bit greasy. Good quality food though, so probably just a bad day for the chef.

Road traffic noise disrupted nights sleep. Room was comfortable but missing a pelmet or something over curtain exposed wooden lathe to hold curtain up.

Stanza molto ampia. Ha anche il ristorante dove si mangia bene. Colazione ricca e abbondante. Parcheggio privato dietro la struttura.

We only really slept in the property was out and about most of the days but what we did see of it was very nice beds were not that comfortable as our preference is a memory foam mattress springs are not for us but for others I’m sure they would be comfortable

The breakfast staff were unfriendly. It's a shame as the puts a dampener on the day. They should not be in customer facing roles.

Clean quite large room, evening meal was absolutely gorgeous, seafood chowder was something else! Allegedly, best in the North, not tried it before, so I can't substantiate that, . Wild mushroom risotto was also brilliant. Staff ever so helpful and friendly, lovely folk. Breakfast was substantial and very good, both cooked and the buffet.

Bed a little uncomfortable, not enough pillows, only one (medium thickness) pillow each. At least 2 is the norm, preferably 3, if you want to sit up and read, or watch a bit of TV. Also, strangely enough, although the room had a double and a single bed, there was only one hook on the bathroom door for wet towels, even though, there is a request for guests to reuse their towels to help save the environment

Großzügige Zimmer, leckeres Essen im Restaurant, Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen. Kein Schrank im Zimmer (aber Garderobe), aber bei Kurzaufenthalt auch kein Thema. Zu empfehlen.

It was convenient for our travels from Belfast to the causeway and dunluce castle.

Honestly this is petty but not having shampoo to wash my hair and the TV not working.

Staff is great. Jessica at front desk welcomed me warmly by name, was efficient and well Informed. Bar tender and servers in restaurant on top of their game and professional. And at check out the three women behind the desk were bright and friendly. Everything works and the service is great. AND you look out on the ocean. What’s not to like.

Wouldn't recommend having dinner in the hotel due to an expensive, limited menu and insufficient portions. Staff informed but told catering is outsourced and the hotel had no responsibility.

Location was excellent, Breakfast was very nice excellent choices,evening meal in the bistro bar food was very nice.Staff were very nice,loved our stay,very relaxing Hotel,very clean highly recommended.

The girl that led us to our table and took order was the only negative, there was 3 of us and put us at different tables, and took orders from people that came in after us,we had to call her to take our order ,she was not very organised .

Inn on the Coast is situated in a lovely spot facing the sea a short walk from Portrush and outside Portstewart. Bedroom was comfortable - bed did dip in the middle but we slept ok. Bathroom was spacious & shower had plenty of hot water. Only issue was there was a large toilet roll dispenser situated in an ackward place to use - go back to normal toilet roll. Ate in the bar and food was excellent. Enjoyed a drink in the outside area. Only downside to stay was the breakfast - unless you ordered a hot cooked breakfast there wasn't much else to eat. Coffee was good.

Breakfast choices. Toast or cereal and tiny amount of fruit were only choices if you didn't have a cooked breakfast. There were crumbs from croissants there on both mornings but we didn't get any.

Lumpy bed with sagging mattress, red stains on towel, room very basic with barely any furniture, WiFi slow on the TV. Shower over bath was very low for our partner and I. Breakfast was grand, full fry was had, coffee and juices were poor. Was an ok stay but probably won't be back and it isn't cheap either.

Needs a little updating. Very high slippery bath in the room. Hotel rooms should all have a walk in shower these days. A lot of condensation in the windows...they need updating. Dinner should really be served in the same place as breakfast. Bar was too chaotic to deal with dinner. Breakfast and dinner choices were limited.

Das Personal war überaus freundlich und witzig. Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Das Zimmer, welches wir bekommen haben, war riesig. Super tempertiert und hatte bequeme Betten. Das Hotel liegt direkt an der Küste, dort kann man toll spazieren gehen.

Man muss sich er Lage des Hotel bewusst sein.

Wi fi was not good in our room

La struttura è bella e ben piazzata. Peccata che durante il giorno la strada è trafficata e in stanza si sentiva un po’ il traffico. Poi nelle ore serali tutto rientra nella tranquillità. Colazione ben assortita, personale gentile e attento ad ogni esigenza.

Il bagno è pulito e grande ma meriterebbe un restyling se lo rapportiamo alla cifra pagata. Probabilmente è la zona che fa incrementare i prezzi ma in altri hotel ho trovato bagni più recenti. Anche il materasso meriterebbe più attenzione era al limite del comfort.

Beds not very comfortable.

Lovely staff. About half way between Portstewart and Portrush. A car park beside the hotel. Restaurant on site. Brilliant breakfast. We didn't hear any dogs during the night though there were a few staying.

The room was a bit basic (but clean and adequate). I guess because it is a dog friendly hotel everything is easily cleaned.

Inn on the coast was a wonderful venue, food was perfect and the two women serving us were wonderful, went there for my Mum's 50th birthday party on the 18th of July and the servers were just wonderful, they accommodated the decorations and even set them up before our meal. Once again food was delicious and service was impeccable

There is no lift. Hard to move large suitcases up the stairs.

Close to the sea front and to Portrush. Room was spacious.

Very basic. Very flat pillows. No tea selection just black tea. Breakfast over cooked. Limited fruit (just apples). Very expensive for what u get. Nowhere to put suitcases except on top of the bed u sleep in. Toiletries were supposed to be provided but we only got a wall mounted bottle of hair and body wash. Shower head was loose so it wouldn't stay in one posision. Didn't like it that the receptionist while checking us in /talking to us told us to wait and took a phone call. Found that rude and unprofessional. Overall, average hotel, 4/5 out of 10, way overpriced and nothing special.

The entire facility was wonderful! The staff was friendly and helpful, the location was beautiful and the room was clean and great!

New menu, tried this week - late lunch. Girls quick to take food & drinks order. Asked to pay for food and drinks on ordering as sitting outside… Meal came before cutlery /salt /pepper etc. Asked for jug of water but got 1 pint of water. Meals: burger v good, Cajun chicken pasta 👍 cld do with piece of sourdough or garlic bread to mop up juice, fish and chips DEF not worth it. Small piece of fish sitting on mushy peas. If you want a good fresh fish and chips go to Bushfoot GC. Or Jenos chippy. Goats cheese & beetroot starter 👍. All sides are extra. Slightly overpriced for location. 👎Not once did any staff ask if food was ok during service. Better Customer Service training wouldn’t go a miss!!! If you want to succeed. And more staff during peak times

Mirror in bathroom too low for anyone over 5.5 feet tall, practically no flow in sink hit water tap, shower head at its highest suitable for about 5.5 feet, Tv reception non existent on the BBC

The location, check-in and room were great. The beds were very comfortable and the breakfast and evening meal was of good quality and quantity.

The TV came on in the middle of the night, unexpectedly, and was very loud and woke us up.

It was warm and welcoming. Staff were the loveliest souls. Very homely and the wait staff were so kind and patient always looking out and making sure everyone was happy and sorted at all times without being over bearing.

This is a lovely hotel that sits in the middle of Portrush and Portstewart. When we arrived, we were delighted to be informed that we had a free upgrade to receive view room. Our room was spacious very clean and recently decorated. We were very comfortable. Breakfast on both mornings was served hot and was tasty with a good choice. On our second night, there was an issue during the night with noise coming from the restaurant who had some work being done. We race this with Hotel staff in the morning and they dealt with the issue very well and very satisfactory. We were very impressed. All the staff were very kind and very friendly and made us feel very comfortable and welcome.

Perfect hotel for pets. Well thought out, comfortable bed good room. Great breakfast. The bistro was also excellent and also dog friendly.

Heat not working reported to reception they turned it on did not work. Went back again they brought round two heaters. It was a very stormy night and the room was cold. Such a shame as it was perfect otherwise.

We've stayed here several times. The location is convenient with great views. The staff always go out of their way to be helpful

There was a few teething problems I believe new ownership of the restaurant the restaurant staff completely run off their feet and a couple small issues but when we spoke to staff they were rectified.
