It is a lovely hotel in Avanos. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Hotel staff was amazing. We highly recommend this hotel.

Clean and cozy. The staff at the reception and the ladies preparing breakfast were polite and friendly. A very pleasant atmosphere! Definitely recommend!

Everything was perfect

Das Hotel ist wunderschön und sehr sauber. Besonders schön fanden wir das Bad und den Frühstück. Es war wirklich sehr gut. Mitarbeiter sind sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Das hotel ist sehr zentral gelegen, in der Umgebung sind viele kleine shops und restaurants. Wir als familie empfehlen das Hotel mit gutem gewissen weiter.

Very nice clean hotel. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Rooms were amazing. Beautiful view on the terrace. Only a 5 minute walk from the main Avanos centre. A very central place to stay. It was a 1 minute walk to the lake. You don’t need to catch a taxi for eating places. Our flight was delayed and was diverted to a different airport. The hotel kept checking up on us to see if we were ok. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely outstanding place to stay. Extremely convenient. Very safe (next to the police station!). Walk to everything. Very comfortable rooms. Great front desk and kitchen staff. Breakfast was excellent. Loved it. Super highly recommended.

Owner and staff were extremely helpful. They helped set up a ballon ride. They showed us our rooms and were very welcoming.

Exceptional stay! The entire team was incredibly professional, friendly, and attentive to our well-being throughout the stay. Special thanks to Mr. Hikmet, Mr. Osama, and the restaurant team — always smiling and caring. The hotel is spotlessly clean, ideally located, and the breakfast was outstanding: a rich variety every morning, with fresh böreks that changed daily. Highly recommended!

Çalışanların, özellikle Osman beyin gösterdiği ilgi olağan üstüydü. Hayatımızda ilk defa kaldığımız otelin bir personelinden kapımıza asılı bırakılan bir hediye bizleri çok mutlu etti ve duygulandırdı. Ayrılırken de kalbimizi orada bıraktık. Herkese tavsiye edeceğimiz bir otel Hikmet’s House.

Hikmet’s House’u internetteki yorumlardan buldum, gittiğime pişman olmadım. Osman bey başta olmak üzere çalışan arkadaşların yaklaşımı ve ilgisi çok iyidi. Gezilecek yer konusunda yardımcı oluyorlar. Kaldığımız odanın banyosu su akıtıyordu. Çözüm için anında tesisatçıyı çağırdılar. Memnuniyet odaklı yaklaşımları vardı. Kahvaltısı güzel ve menüsü zengindi. Konum itibariyle göl manzarası var otelin ama balona 8-9 km mesafede. Ürgüp ve Göreme’ye göre daha sakin, bu bizim için güzeldi. Zaten ilçeler arası mesafe yakın olduğu için bunu sorun etmedik. Genel olarak bizim memnun kaldığımız bir oteldi.

Located in the peaceful town of avanos. Walking distance from a beautiful park by the river and the city center. Hospitality by the staff was exceptional. They are warm and friendly people. The common area sit outs were perfect to wind down with a beer at the end of a long day. The rooms are cozy and clean and more than you need if you’re spending most of the day site seeing.

Otel konum olarak çok iyi bir yerde. Avanos şehir merkezine yürüme mesafesinde. Otopark problemi yok. Çalışanlar çok ilgili ve misafirperver. Osman bey rehberlik de dahil olmak üzere çok yardımcı oldu. Kahvaltı mükemmeldi. Ayrıca kahvaltıyı hazırlayan ve servis eden arkadaşlar da çok hoşsohbetti. Temizlik ve hijyen yönünden de çok memnun kaldık.

Kendimizi evimizde gibi hissettiren, çok temiz ve hijyenik odalarda konakladık, kaliteli insanların özenli ve mükemmel hizmetleri ile huzurlu bir dinlenme fırsatı yakaladık, en kısa zamanda tekrar görüşmek üzere... Osman bey ve tüm ekibe çok çok teşekkürler.

Tertemiz ilgili bir işletme.Kahvaltisi cesitliydi çalışan bayan olduğundan dolayı temiz ,titiz ve lezzet dolu bir tatil oldu. Yine tercih edeceğiniz bir mekan oldu. Teşekkürler

Kesinlikle tejrar geldigimizde tercih edecegimiz,temizlik,kahvalti ve merkeze yurume mesafesinde ulasabileceginiz,odalar tas ev konseptinde otantik sekilde dizayn edilmis kesinlikle kaldiginiz icin pisman olmayacaginiz bir otel, Tavsiye edilir....

Everything ! It was an amazing stay. Beautiful room, with everything you may need. Extremely friendly staff, always here to help us with our needs. We were lucky to have them. Special mention to the breakfast cook, Hilal, who made a us delicious breakfast each morning with a big smile and christmas playlist. The hotel is situated right next to the village, in a quiet street close from a fresh bakery and nice coffee spots (Lemon's house and piccolo cafe). We definitely recommend this place !

It is a very comfortable boutique hotel, has very clean rooms and lounge zone, friendly personnel. Every morning very delicious turkish breakfast will wait you on the roof of the hotel. I was really surprised by breakfast, it is very reach and tasty. Hotel is situated near center of old Avanos with a lot of restaurants and cafes. it's very warm in the room even in January.

Not about the hotel, but for your information. Avanos has two parts which is separated by the river. On the one side you can find old town, restaurant, gift shops and on the other side - food shops, road and short way to Cappadocia. Unfortunately the bridge which connects both parts is under renovation now.

Nice owners, well decorated rooms, good breakfast.

Wifi was so bad, literally couldn’t even have a zoom call without video, wifi would cut out every 30 seconds. Loud noises at night - music, dog barking, etc. so it was very hard to have a good night of rest. We stayed at the first floor.

Gerek otel konforu gerek personelin ilgisi konusunda harikaydı. Kapadokyaya bir dahaki gelişimde tekrar konaklayacağım bir yer.

we liked absolutely everything location - beside to the beautiful River embankment near the old town The view from the restaurant is panoramic and you can watch balloons floating in the air every morning breakfasts are a separate issue - everything is individual, exquisite, delicious))) the hotel itself is very authentic, with its own history staff - 100 points for work - everything is always in place, polite, always diligently answering questions, helping with the slightest issue. We recommend this wonderful hotel to everyone!!!

The BEST HOTEL we had in Turkïye !!! Even before to check-in, we wanted to cancel one night of our 5 days reservations to go visit Konya, it was not a problem for Hikmet Hotel. Then we had the privilege to have the best experience, the architecture and decoration is original, link to Kapadokya style, spacious and confortable room & the staff was amazing (from the cleaning ladies, the reception to the owner). For the breakfast, they provide you fresh Gozleme. We had more than what we expected and what we paid, might be better to come by car, because located in Avanos. Really FANTASTIC hotel to recommend

WiFi was extremely bad, very weak WiFi signal, and very slow. Lightning in the bathroom needs improvement.

A beautiful place in Avanos extremely well located, wlking distance from historical center, 1 min walk from supermarket and restaurantsbut above all, amazing hosts, extremely kind and helpful. We loved staying at Hikmet's House and really felt at home. The veranda is beautiful and perfect to enjoy a quiet nap or tea, and the breakfast room on the top floor offers a beautiful view on all the surroundings. We highly recommend this place!

Very friendly people, clean and cozy rooms, historical atmosphere.

Bien plus qu'un hôtel, un "sweet home". Le manager est adorable, souriant et serviable, les employées pareillement. La maison et les chambres sont belles et confortables. Le petit déjeuner est varié, copieux et délicieux, servi dans une pièce véranda lumineuse. Un établissement de premier ordre. Bravo et merci à nos hôtes.

Only a warning for balloon excursion: if you do it from Göreme, you can get up a bit later ;)

Everything was wonderful. The beds were very comfortable, the temperature was perfect, and there was hot water on demand. The breakfast is served on the terrace with a beautiful view. I would definitely stay here again!

The hotel staff was friendly and the check-in process was quick. Our rooms were so charming and big. We had an enjoyable breakfast and loved the views of Cappadocia.

Be warned the bathroom is freezing so definitely use the towel warmer and slippers 🙂

-Building: it is located in a historical building: the room is large and with high roof, and everything inside the room is/looks nostalgic -Breakfast: It consists of an open buffet with many options to choose from, but more importantly, during every breakfast they serve also a traditional kind of pancake/calzone: gozleme -Friendly employees. Felt like a family run small hotel

- Avanos is a small town, however worth to pay a short visit to wander through its historical/artsy streets, more peaceful and als cheaper than other townn in Cappadocia

It was extremely clean and well-organized. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. This was my second visit in 5 years, and I was not disappointed. Thank you, and keep it up. By the way, breakfast far exceeded my expectations. 🙏🙏🙏✌️✌️✌️👍👍👍

Hikmet‘s house has one of the best service team we ever experienced. Everyone is so welcoming and kind. We felt like home from first minute. Rooms are nice and good quality. High quality house overall. good view from breakfast room. Tasty breakfast.

I can highly recommend Hikmet's House. The rooms a very beautiful, especially the bathrooms. The staff is very very friendly and helpful, e.g. they could arrange the ballon trip for me at very short notice. The breakfast was the best we had during our whole trip through turkey! Thank you for the great time we had at your place.

First of all people there were so attending even though they didn't speak english so well they try everything to make us feel very comfortable. They also upgrade from double room to triple room with no additional cost. The rooms are very nice and clean. Breakfast is awesome. Location is very good, in my opinion much much better than Goreme. We have a little girl and they were super nice with her. For us was a perfect choice. Thanks a lot. 🤗

Hikmet's House gerçekten tatlı görünümlü ve rahat bir konaklama sunuyor misafirlerine. Mevki olarak Kızılırmak Nehrine çok yakın. Nehrin güzelliği ayrı bir hava katıyor otelin panoramasına. Odalar tertemiz ve iç mimari ve designi olarak kapadokyaya çok yakışıyor. Insan kendisini tarihi bir yerde gibi hissediyor. Güler yüzlü personeli ise insana bir aile ortami hissi veriyor. Kahvaltı çeşitleri bol. Biz bu konaklamadan çok memnun kaldık ve gönül rahatlığıyla tavsiye ediyoruz. Giden herkese şimdiden iyi tatiller.

Great place to stay and with even better service! We booked 5 rooms and loved each one of them. The house is 150-years old but they did a great job in modernizing it. The service from the owner Hikmet and his crew was awesome. Definitely recommend.

Gerek lokasyon, gerek temizlik, gerekse de oda konforu bakimindan her sey mukemmeldi. Personel guleryuzlu ve ilgiliydi. Kahvalti ozenli ve cesitliydi. Ayrica omlet menemen gibi sicak kahvaltiliklar dahildi. Cok memnun kaldik. Tekrar yolumuz düşerse mutlaka tercih edecegimiz adres burasi olur.

Kaldığımız her dk sından keyif aldık. çalışanların hepsine çok tşk ediyorum eve döndüğümüze pişman olduk desem yeridir. Kızımızla ilgilendikleri için ayrıca tşk ediyorum. odaya sokamadık çocuğu sürekli şu ablanın yanına gideceğim bu abla bana kek yapmış diye diye 3 gün odaya girmedi. temizliğe lafım bile yok yataklar vs son derece güzeldi. Odaya girmeden arayıp rezervasyonu hatırlattılar. Bilmiyorum bu otelde sorun yaşayan varmıdır ama biz çok memnun kaldık tekrar gitsek düşünmeden ve başka otele bakmadan bu otelde konaklarım. Haziranın başlarında gittik GİDECEKLERE TEK TAVSİYEM UZUN KOLLU PİJAMA GÖTÜRÜN. odalar mağara tipi taş duvarlı olduğundan dışarı ne kadar sıcak olursa olsun içerisi sürekli serin klimaya ihtiyaç duymadan oturursunuz ama geceleri biraz soğuyor ondan kısa kolluyla yatmayın. keşke dönmeseydik dediğim bir tatil ve oteldi.

Otelin konumu güzeldi, hem merkeze hem de ırmak kenarına yakındı, çocuklu aile olarak hiç sıkılmadık. Otel oldukça temizdi, hergün odamız temizlendi, su, çay, kahve gibi ikramlar yenilendi. Kahvaltı doyurucuydu, çeşitleri yeterliydi. Otelden genel olarak çok memnun kaldık, teşekkür ederiz

Kosa ve net yazayım: Tertemiz, huzurlu bir ortam. Kaliteli ve taptaze kahvaltı hizmeti. Kafa dinlemek için Avanos ve civarında yer aramadan tekrar kalacağım bir yer.

Harika 3 gece geçirdik desem yeridir araç varsa konum olarak çok güzel bir yerde. Her yere 15 dak mesafede hikmet bey ve merve hanım çok ilgili her görüşmede yardımcı olabileceğim bir şey var mı ? Sorusunu bolca duyacaksınız :) kahvaltıyı beğendik lezzetli ve kaliteli ürünler mevcut. Odalar çok güzel tasarlanmış mimarisi harika ve çok temiz. Ayrılınca sizi kapıya kadar yolcu etmeleri hoşumuza gitti her misarfirine değer verdikleri belli teşekkür ederiz.

J’ai été très bien accueilli à mon arrivée Même si on ne parle pas anglais il est possible de communiquer avec Traduction Google (très pratique) j’ai eu un thé accompagné de petits friands au fromage , des amandes et des pistaches .A ma demande l’accueil s’est chargé de réserver pour le Green tour pour le lendemain Génial Le petit déjeuner est très copieux et varié La literie est excellente , chambre spacieuse, grande salle de bain, wifi dans la chambre . À mon départ l’hotel m’a offert un petit magnet. Beau geste Grand merci à toute l’equipe de l’hotel A recommander Pour dîner prendre la promenade le long de la rivière et se diriger vers la mosquée. Très bons restaurants pas chers . Pour le hamman Alladin juste à côté de l’hôtel : À FUIR absolument, grande arnaque

Mooie locatie, parkeerplaats naast de deur. Men spreekt Engels. Kamers zijn authentiek ingericht, prima badkamer, koffie en thee op de kamer. Leuke sfeer. Ontbijt is uitgebreid en ook goed verzorgd.
