I absolutely love Sunsquare Cape Town City Bowl! The location is perfect — right in the centre of everything and so convenient for getting around Cape Town. The hotel is quiet, safe, and the breakfast is amazing! This was my second time staying here, and I loved it just as much as the first time. The staff are also so friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back again. Highly recommended!

Perfektes Stadthotel. Der Pool und die Rooftopbar sind sehr schön! In unserem Zimmer war es nachts leise. Sind am Ende unserer Reise nochmal eine Nacht geblieben.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Sun Square! The hotel has beautiful, modern architecture and a stylish, welcoming atmosphere. It is conveniently located and close to most of the activities and attractions, which made getting around very easy. We also found it to be great value for money. The breakfast was amazing, with a great variety of options and something for everyone. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

There is a club on the other side of the hotel, which was quite loud after hours. Luckily, the hotel manager was very helpful and promptly moved us to another room. After the room change, we had no issues with the noise and enjoyed a good night’s rest. We really appreciated how quickly and professionally the hotel handled the situation.

Well, situated, very well lit area with security outside and inside.

The stuff at restaurant is rude. The breakfast manager was worse, during my movement, she was following me telling me O haven’t paid for breakfast whilst I paid for a Suite in the hotel. It was embarrassing.

Exceptional stay! Everything about this property was excellent - location, friendly staff ( security, lobby, kitchen , guest service and restaurant) , cleanliness, & really good breakfast. We stayed for 5 nights in total. Initially, we booked 3 nights and were so happy with the hotel that we extended our stay by another 2 nights. Highly recommended! Our kids enjoyed . Hotel also has roof top restaurant with outstanding view of CPT. Recommend to request for higher floor while check in .

Geräumig und sauber mit allem was benötigt wird. Super Lage, um alles zu erkunden. Tolle Rooftop-Bar!!!

Das Frühstück könnte besser sein, dafür war das Restaurant am Abend sehr gut.

我们一行六人在上周日（8月16日）9:30在酒店吃过早餐后去机场飞回斯威士兰，中午一点左右在登机之后有五人出现了不同症状的胃疼，腹泻，呕吐现象，因为我们中午赶飞机的原因就没有再吃午饭，我们严重怀疑早餐中的青豆玉米粒有问题，因为出现食物中毒症状的人都食用了青豆，我女儿早餐没吃，她是我们六人中唯一没有出现中毒症状的。腹泻，胃疼病症直至今天才逐渐好转，肯请酒店方调查其他相同日期入住的旅客是否出现食物中毒症状，并且在食品安全方面加强管理！谢谢

Absolutely stunning and wonderful hotel. Beautiful, clean and modern. Staff were absolutely amazing!!. The location was perfect too. Finally it was great value for money.

Ein sehr schönes Hotel in Downtown Kapstadt. Schöne Zimmer, nettes Personal und ein günstige Parkmöglichkeiten im Haus. (50 Rand pro Tag). Highlight Rooftopbar mit einem tollen Blick auf den Tafelberg und die Stadt. Zudem ein kleiner Pool auf dem Dach. Alles sehr zu empfehlen.

Sehr nettes Personal und tolles Hotel in sehr guter Lage. Nähe zur Waterfront in Kapstadt. Frühstück war sehr gut und auch das Abendessen war super.

the location is great and the hotel reception nice.

The room's aircon kept on reverting to 17 degrees all the time. Maintenance attempted to resolve the issue without success. The mat in the bathroom had an unpleasant smell and I had to put it outside the room. The noise from a nearby night club was extremely unbearable throughout the night up till the early morning, 6am.

My rating would have been 10/10 because we had a good stay. I know this is not anything in the control of the hotel, so maybe a bit unfair from my side, but there is a Rave Club behind the hotel. We were on the 11th floor, but the Rave Music from the Club kept us awake the whole night. It went right through the night. Even when we left at 10h00 on the Sunday morning, the music was still going.

Went for a work trip, so only stayed for one night. The hotel felt nice and new and is super central. Easy parking and lovely breakfast buffet. Staff were all helpful and very friendly. Would most definitely recommend it and stay there again. And such a lovely view of Cape Town. (I’ve added some pictures I took from my window.)

Camera e struttura pulita, a seguito di una sistemazione che presentava un danno alla porta, in tempo zero hanno provveduto a darci una camera sostitutiva. Personale cortese. Todo muy bien, desayuno delicioso y café de cafetera profesional hecho al momento. Personal muy amable. El rooftop bar es muy bonito, y la piscina también.

Sólo hay sitio para poner una maleta en la habitación, la otra tiene que estar en el suelo - lo cual es un poco incómodo; un soporte plegable adicional, sería muy práctico. La piscina está muy bien y el hotel pone toallas, pero no hay vestidor para cambiarse.

Location was great. Clean. Rooms were nice size. Bathrooms were very well laid out with small details that just make sense. Breakfast was lovely with enough variation and fresh options.

Unfortunately, the bar on the roof with beautiful views of the city, is out the control of the manager and staff. Local patrons were behaving outrageously, and arguments, shouting, and aggressive behavior effectively drove away the customers present at the time. Despite warning the bar staff about the patrons' reprehensible behavior, no one took any action to control the situation.

Kein Trinkwasser in der Flasche auf dem Zimmer, sondern nur relativ teuer an der Rezeption oder der Bar. Warmwasserversorgung am frühen Morgen schwach.

On a tout aimé. Le personnel est super. Tout le monde a été très attentionné. Mon bébé était aux anges. Mes parents ont même eu une attention dans leur chambre pour leur anniversaire de mariage. L’emplacement était parfait et la vue incroyable.

Breakfast was outstanding, with an excellent variety of options to suit every taste. I especially enjoyed the omelet station, the fresh fruits and yogurts, and the freshly baked croissants—it was truly a fabulous spread. As a coffee enthusiast, I was particularly impressed by the latte; the barista crafted an absolutely divine cup that was the perfect start to the day.

This was my second stay at the hotel, and unfortunately I experienced the same issue on both visits. On checkout day, the housekeeping staff knocked on our door very early in the morning. During this stay, we had arranged a late checkout, yet housekeeping still knocked at 8:30 a.m. and again at 10:00 a.m. This was quite disappointing and disruptive. The hotel should have a system in place to communicate guest checkout times, particularly when a late checkout has been approved. Standard checkout time is 11:00 a.m., so being disturbed as early as 8:30 a.m. felt unnecessary and detracted from an otherwise enjoyable stay. I hope this can be addressed to ensure future guests are able to enjoy their room and privacy until their scheduled departure time.

Zwembad is wat aan de kleine kant, maar daar stoorden we ons niet echt aan.

All was fine

The room was very nice and comfortable. Roof top bar on the 14th floor with a great view (sometimes windy - but that's Cape Town). And the service was always very friendly - from the reception, to the restaurant and the bar.

There must be a dog day care center (or similar) and a music club behind the Hotel. There was quite loud music on some days until early morning. And once the music stopped, the dogs started barking. Still one of the best places to stay.
