The location was good. The staff were nice and friendly.

The restroom smelled really bad. I reported the issue to the reception desk, they were apologetic and said they’d send someone to check the plumbing in the morning but no one came to check and the smell was still there throughout the 2 nights we stayed at the hotel. There was some clacking noise and water dripping from the faucet all night. As someone with trouble falling asleep that was not ideal. At some point it kinda freaked me out a little.

Friendly staff, especially Kanna, who took great care of us. We were able to leave our luggage for the whole week, which was very helpful. There is a nice Indian diner right next to the hotel. The metro station is very close, and you can walk to the city center in just 15–20 minutes.

Unclear pricing policy – the final price was different from what was shown on Booking. When I book a room, I expect to see the final cost upfront, not deal with extra charges later. The hotel is also quite noisy, as other guests didn't respect quiet hours. There are signs everywhere about smoking and bringing durians, but nothing about keeping quiet. As a result, we had to sleep with headphones on several times. A major downside was the lack of a fridge in the rooms.

Excellent overall - superb staff; steps from LRT, Central Market & shops/restaurants; great value. Spacious room (windowless so quiet) with comfy king size bed and daily cleaning on request; includes toiletries, bottled water, hairdryer, kettle & telly with English language movie channels. 4th floor roof terrace and lift access to rooms. Iron/board set up for use on floor. WiFi stable for work calls. Good aircon in room and hotel.

Notes only! Usual city construction nearby during the day only. Make sure to bring 50RM refundable cash deposit on check in. No in-room fridge which would be handy for longer term stays.

Excellent overall. Staff are superb from check in to check out, rooms are good size with comfy beds, great value for money, clean, and lots of hot water in shower. Wifi was stable and good air con. Super location within 5-10 min walk to LRT, Rapid Bus, shops, and local sites including Central Market. Hair dryer, toiletries & kettle in room - staff bring bottled water daily, and anything else I asked for wasn’t a bother for them. Lift access to rooms and cool exposed brick vibe in hallways with laminate/tile floors throughout. Front door is secure and there was always someone at reception with a smile and ready to help, including for my late night check in.

Most rooms don’t have a window which I wasn’t used to but didn’t bother me one bit in the end. I didn’t end up using the 4th floor/rooftop outdoor seating area but it looked lovely. I always travel with flip flops - no slippers in the room.

Hotel a 10 Min a piedi da Chinatown e a 2 Min dalla metro. Le ragazze sono molto gentili e disponibili. L'hotel è molto pulito!!!

Se proprio devo trovare un difetto è lo split dell aria condizionata che spara sul letto. Noi abbiamo dovuto usarla solo in modalità ventola perché ci dava fastidio. Ma per il resto è tutto perfetto!!

Jag tyckte framförallt det varma välkomnandet jag fick. Jag är mycket tacksam för allt hjälp jag fick av alla receptionister. Rummet var rent och prydligt. Allt fungerade som det ska. Tyst i själva hotellet och en skön säng. Supertrevlig!

A good option for solo travelers. The location is convenient and the staff are friendly and helpful. I also really appreciated having a water dispenser available, which is a nice and practical touch. Overall, a comfortable and convenient stay for a solo traveler.

What I didn’t like was the bad smell in the lift. I also had an issue with the bathroom during my stay. However, when I informed the staff, they responded quickly and fixed the problem immediately, which I really appreciated. And no cleaning service for the room.

This place is superb in location. It's near to everything and very near the metro.you can say it's at the center of the city.

I just didn't like the smell of the shared toilet. It's clean but the pungent smell of urine was there during my entire stay.

Very neat and clean rooms , especially the receptionist kana very supportive with good kind . Very close to all Indian restaurants and train stations everything … that’s very convenient to all the foreigners … best stay best location .

Early check in is not allowed that is not convenient to me , because i came in the morning flight, if any refreshments room or toilet if they are provide for the each customers that’s most helping to bath and refresh then go out to explore the things …. It’s my kind request ….otherwise stay is exceptional…

Depuis cet hôtel les principaux sites à visiter (Petronas Twin Towers, Dataran Merdeka et Sultan Abdul Samad Building, Petaling Street, River of Life) sont accessibles à pied. La chambre est propre, bien équipée et calme. Le rooftop est un plus même si la vue est plutôt quelconque.

First impression, the toilet was clean. The bed, everything were comfortable enough.

To anyone thinking of staying in this hotel in the near future, please note that there is an extremely noisy renovation ongoing in the neighbourhood! I did not find any mention about this until I had checked in. In my experience atleast the third floor rooms cannot be utilized from 8.30am to 5pm due to nonstop noise, could not read a book or take a nap since I could hear it even through earplugs - so this is worth noticing before making a booking! The rooms were clean and tidy and otherwise had a satisfactory stay.

Room was spacious and clean with great en-suite bathroom. Plenty of hot water for the shower. Great central location for Kuala Lumpur.

I didn’t check in because of the receptionist’s attitude. I had just arrived from the airport and was extremely tired. I asked if I could pay a deposit first and settle the remaining balance after getting some rest, as I hadn’t had the chance to exchange my money yet. Then I heard the owner asking the receptionist about my nationality. Excuse me… what does my nationality have to do with anything? People often talk about racism, but discrimination can come from anyone. Unfortunately, this experience made me feel judged and unwelcome.

El personal era muy amable. Las camas confortables y los detalles cuidados. Hay un ascensor para llegar a las plantas superiores. Tienen un dispensador donde puedes rellenar la botella de agua con agua filtrada.

Esta bastante centrico, pero como se ubica en el barrio indio no hemos encontrado un desayuno al estilo europeo cerca. Cuando teguardan tu maleta despues del check out se queda simplemente en la recepcion al lado de la puerta. No nos ha dado mucha confianza, pero no pasó nada. La habitación familiar en la primera planta el algo ruidoso, por la calle delante del hotel.

There was a work under construction literally on the back wall of our room. From 7 am to 4 pm. Hitting, drilling and making too much noise. We couldn't rest. I understand that they could have warned us in advance or moved us to another room. Just that. Then everything is very nice. The very friendly staff

the location wasnt great, felt slightly unsafe due to the amount of homelessness around. there was building works on during our whole stay, as in it sounded like the building next to us was constantly being knocked down, it was a ridiculous amount of noise which obviously cannot be controlled but we shouldve been made aware. it was also extremely difficult for us to try and get our room cleaned. in the lift it states we can get it cleaned till 5pm, we put the sign on our door on three different days, at around 11am, and didnt get the room cleaned once. just not sure the hotel is very good value for money to be honest

Ahyu hotel’s central location in the heart of Kuala Lumpur made our stay more comfortable and staff especially, KANA of the front desk—she’s highly commendable and as a guest together with my husband and Father, we all are a contented and happy clients and travelers who are all served and attended very well by Kana👍 has always been so welcoming, extra attentive and even brought inside our room in 109 for our requested new sets of towels(since we didn’t asked for housekeeping make up room even if we stayed for 4d&3nights due to daily tour schedules and no time to stay inside our room 109 at all except to sleep at night)

The customer service was extremely friendly, especially the check-in& -out process with Kara, she gave good tips on the city and moving around! : ) Water pressure & temperature in shower were super good! Bed was comfy and big. For the low price, this was a very comfortable option for a short stay.

I had some issue with the safe, not very easy to use. I brought this up with front front desk and they were happy to help though so really no negatives!

The location is ideal, with attractions and the underground within walking distance. It’s on Indian Street, so there’s an Indian atmosphere all around. The reception staff are very friendly and polite.

The room was clean, but it smelled musty, most likely because it had no windows and wasn’t ventilated. There was no fridge. No breakfast was provided. I had to leave a deposit of 50 ringgit; this was the first time I’d ever left a deposit at a hotel.

I never leave negative reviews, but this experience completely ruined what should have been a pleasant family stay. I understand that hotels have policies regarding the number of guests allowed in a room. That is not the main issue. The real problem was the attitude and customer service from the front desk staff. From the moment I tried to discuss the situation, there was no willingness to communicate professionally or politely. Instead of explaining the policy in a friendly manner, the staff spoke in a cold and confrontational tone. When I later returned to pay for additional guests, I was met with an unnecessarily raised voice and a response that felt rude and dismissive. What made the experience even worse was feeling as though my family was being watched and treated with suspicion throughout our stay. Every interaction felt uncomfortable. During check-out, there was suddenly another attempt to charge extra fees based on CCTV observations, despite the matter already being discussed. Only after further explanation was the charge dropped. The most disappointing part is that the hotel itself was not bad. The location was convenient and the room was acceptable. Unfortunately, customer service can make or break a stay, and in this case it completely broke it. There are many hotels in Kuala Lumpur with similar prices and better hospitality. I can tolerate strict policies, but I cannot overlook poor treatment and disrespectful communication. I will not be returning.

Due to the building works it’s advisable to get a room with no window- we swapped as it was super noisy and the works are on at the weekend
