Akbulut Konak

very nice, clean rooms, comfortable beds, perfect service, really nice atmosphere delicious breakfast everything fresh

splendida dimora ottomana spettacolare!

Tolle Gastgeber. Sehr bequeme Betten.

Alles bestens

Akbulut Konak is a beautiful old Ottoman house set in its own peaceful garden just far enough out of the old town but still walkable. The host is extremely attentive and helpful. The breakfasts were delicious with lots of homemade jams, cheeses, eggs, bread and pastries. We coukd not fault our stay here in August and woukd recommend to everyone.

Misafirperverlikleri için çok müteşekkiriz.

Beautiful historic konak. Wonderful breakfast. Host was kind and welcoming. Highly recommended!!!

Super consigliato…

Maison d’hôtes bien placée Parking gardé Propriétaire toujours présent Chambre exiguë

It is a beautifully renovated ottoman house, which was a treat to stay in. The space was comfortable, well furnished and clean. It felt very homely. Location just a 5 min walk to the old town center and we parked securely in the driveway. The breakfast was fresh and tasty. The owner was kind and very helpful

Beautiful property set in a an old Ottoman house with a garden. It's within walking distance of the Safranbolu town centre, which has plenty of eating & shopping options. The owners are the sweetest, nicest people, very personable & helpful. The breakfast is a big & delicious spread with lovely personal touches, like the homemade jams. We loved Safranbolu as a town and would love to visit again. If we do, we'll be sure to stay at Akbulut Konak again.

Tek gece kaldık, bir aile işletmesi, her şeyle ilgililer, samimi, sıcak bir atmosfer, kahvaltı harikaydı, evde aile içinde gibiydik, çok memnun kaldık, tekrar gidersek yine orada kalırız.

Beautiful family owned house, great location. Breakfast was delicious, everything homemade. The owners are great, very helpful and accommodating.

It was a great stay in a family run place. Very nice very personal - outstanding breakfast on the terrasse

Fantastic hospitality and it was an honour to stay a place with such history.

This property is a hidden gem. It has a unique style. The room was spacious and comfortable with a great view. The hosts were very kind and helpful. The gave us advice on were to shop and eat. The breakfast was great with plenty of options. Definitely worth it.

The hotel is in working distance to all historical areas. The staff is very friendly and helpful to tell us all the information. The hotel is ottoman style. The room is very clean. We also enjoy their wonderful ottoman style breakfast.

It was a quaint little ottoman house surrounded by fruit trees of all varieties in a picturesque surrounding. Very close to the Main bazaar. They also had parking which was a plus considering how narrow and steep all the roads in the city are. Mr Imam and his son Mr Boran were very warm and welcoming.

The breakfast was wholesome with homemade preserves but a bit scant compared to average breakfasts. We got 1 egg for a family of four on the first day and requested more so they gave us two more. Second day they only had 2 eggs.

I’m so happy I chose this place. It’s a beautiful house from the ottoman period, with a peaceful garden, and a wonderful view. The breakfast is delicious and home made (including the jams). The location is great, on a quiet road very close to the main square. But, most importantly, I loved to meet the hosts. I’ve learned so much about Safranbolu and Türkiye thanks to them, and they showed me an incredible hospitality that I’ll keep close to my heart. Thank you for everything! :)

This is in an old Ottoman house. It is thus very historic and quaint. The small bathroom is modern. It is an interesting place to stay at. The owner was extremely kind and helpful.

Nice host, very helpful! Great location and clean room!

The most relaxing and peaceful sanctuary! Everybody at Akbulut Konak is incredibly kind and helpful and the breakfast is an absolute superstar. Akbulut Konak is also walkable to museums, restaurants, cafes and shopping. If you want the perfect place to stay in Safranbolu, this is it - you will absolutely love it!

Beautiful, well maintained property at good location. Clean and warm, helpful hosts.

Gerçekten mükemmel konağın sahibi imam bey ve değerli eşi çok ilgili ve alakadar oldular rahat sessiz sakin huzur dolu temiz odaları bahçesi kahvaltısı otoparkı merkeze yakın konumu herşeyi ile mükemmel tavsiye ediyorum 3 gün konaklama süresinde harika vakit geçirdik tekrar gidecek olursam kesinlikle aynı yeri tercih ederim

We travelled right in time back to Ottoman time in 1700’s … Certainly schedule to experience this historical hotel once you plan a visit to Safranbolu !

Absolutely remarkable stay. Couldn’t have loved more our stay at Imam’s superbly restored Ottoman house. Such a caring couple that even not speaking english made us feel so much welcomed and at home. The breakfast itself is a true experience of a traditional turkish breakfast at its best. There’s no chance of not falling in love with this place.

Historically perfect- clean and breakfast delicious- had a nap on the swing chair after walking Safranbolu historical old town. Make sure to take walking sticks to really take in all the views in town - location was perfect!!

Excellent host with many helpful sightseeing and dining tips. Clean, quiet, comfortable room. Superb breakfast. Great value!

Excellent accueil, jolie chambre, délicieux petit-déjeuner. Une adresse très recommandable. Merci à nos hôtes pour leur accueil.

Everything about this lovely, charming family, authentic restored home/ hotel, decor, great views, decor, views & value, onsite parking.❤️❤️❤️❤️

Loved absolutely everything. Not one thing wasn't stellar.

Very nice family running the business. The building reflects the typical Ottoman architecture. In the heart of the old city center

The breakfast was tasty. The rooms were clean and neat, and in good condition. The hosts were incredibly friendly and hospitable.

The bathroom is essentially in a cupboard in a room, as is the way it was in old ottoman houses. It was neatly done and consistent with the design of the house, but for people not familiar with these houses it was a little cramped. For larger people it could be a problem. I would suggest a kettle with tea and coffee would be a nice addition to the room

the owners were very welcoming and helpful. strongly recommend this place.

Super friendly & helpful hosts. Beautiful place with so much detail. We really enjoyed staying here and will definitely be back should the opportunity arise.

We had a lovely stay in this incredible hotel for two nights. The host Mr. Iman and his wife are very helpful and super nice! Breakfast was amazing. The beautiful garden with parking lots. Great location. Hotel located in a quite street but 5 min walk to oldtown center. Super impressed. Highly recommended!

Konak sahiplerinin ilgisi ve samimiyeti , konağın temizliği, otantik havası , kahvaltısı gayet başarılı ve güzeldi.

The elegant house. Excellent service. Very good breakfast

No tea or coffee facilities in the room.

location is very good, super clean

Best Hospitality. Lovely host. Great Location. Great breakfast with homemade breads and jams Best choice in Safranbolu old town. The honey was so delicious so I would like to buy and bring back for my father. At the checkout date, they gave us as a gift. We are so grateful.

Location in a semi village experience and walking distance from attractions. Staff were family nice to know. Friendly. Space for parking. Small garden.the house is architecture is old style and with traditional furniture. This is one of the best countryside houses

Simply nothing. One of my greatest stays in Turkey

This is the first hotel I stay at Safranbolu, I was amaze by the scenery of heritage town. The hotel is restored from old otttomen house, and spacious garden, everything look new, and the room is clean. If you look for spacious room, it’s may not suitable for you, but if you look for clean and historical building, that is the best choice! The owner can’t speak well English, but he is friendly and helpful. I will come back again. There is not much hotel from Safranbolu has provide car park, but the hotel has it.

the traditional designed more than hundred years old house with a big yard. the host is super nice and helpful. we enjoyed the delicious breakfast a lot.

It was the best facility I encountered in Turkey. Safranbolu at the time I travelled is not so packed, so you can truly enjoy its heritage and sights. The hotel is excellently located to do everything in town on foot. The room was VERY comfortable and breakfast simply glorious!

Everything: the building, the room, the breakfast and the hosts were amazing. The place is near the center, you can be there in a few minutes on foot.

Great location, great host, beautiful town

Amazing hotel as well as the people who run it. I would come back in a heart beat

Harika bir karşılama yakın ilgi ve alaka

The hotel owner and his family treated us so well I could not praise them enough. What a great location, beautiful building and just a wonderful stay all around.

This hotel is perfect! It is run by Imam and his family, who offer the best service ever. Location is ideal, right in the middle of the old town, walking distance from all the sights. The home made breakfast was amazing, the best we had in Turkey. Rooms are spacious, comfortable beds, smallish bathrooms, which is understandable considering the house is about 300 years old, but exquisitely remodeled.

Beautiful hotel in a quiet area with a nice garden and view. The hosts were extremely welcoming and shared extensive knowledge of the town, houses, and surrounding areas.

Loved being here..both times!!!! Lovely restored house, fabulous breakfast, very welcoming and helpful host.

Beautifully renovated ottoman house with a spectacular views! The owner, Imam, is so welcoming and helpful as are all the staff. The bed is super comfortable, the breakfast is delicious and abundant. We loved staying there so much the first night that when our travels brought us back through Safranbolu we stayed there again! Highly recommend this wonderful booking!!!!

Imam and his staff are very helpful and friendly. He even drove me to otogar to get the ticket and to get to next destination.

Just perfect. Owners are on site and very friendly. Rooms are very clean. Nice location. Traditional house with just 8 rooms. Well renovated. Must for architects to visit and stay if they can.

Her şey harikaydı.
