Obertraun is een prachtige locatie en uitvalbasis voor bezoek aan andere plekken. Lisa was een hele fijne gastvrouw en stond voor je klaar als er vragen waren of als je iets nodig had.

Obertraun zelf is niet heel bijzonder Wij kwamen op zaterdagmiddag aan en in het weekend blijkt alles dicht te zijn Hierdoor konden we geen boodschappen halen of wat dan ook.

Pięknie zrobiony mały domek - świetnie przemyślany i uroczy. Bardzo sympatyczna i pomocna Pani Lisa. Miejsce dla naszych rowerów, możliwość ich umycia.

Sehr schön eingerichtetes TinyHouse mit Liebe zum Detail. Super Parkmöglichkeiten, es fehlt an nichts. Alles sauber & ordentlich + herzlicher Empfang.

Die Stufenhöhe der Treppe ist ggf. nicht für jeden was, für uns war's kein Problem, Haus liegt direkt an der Straße und es ist dennoch ruhig - hat uns also nicht gestört.

Liebevoll hergerichtetes Tinyhouse auf 3 Etagen mit gemütlichem Schlafboden unterm Dach. Lisa die Gastgeberin war sehr lieb und aufmerksam. Nicht weit zum Hallstätter See und guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen.

It is a beautiful small acommodation equipped with everything one might need. The location is perfect - not too close but not too far from all the tourist attractions. They are very welcoming of dogs.

Wir haben einen sehr schönen Kurzurlaub verbracht. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die Gastgeber – sie waren wirklich außergewöhnlich freundlich, herzlich, zuvorkommend und jederzeit hilfsbereit. Dafür gäbe es von uns ohne zu zögern 10 Sterne! Man hat sich sofort willkommen und gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Auch die Unterkunft selbst ist etwas Besonderes – sehr charmant, reizvoll und mit viel Charakter. Dazu kommt eine traumhafte Umgebung, die den Aufenthalt wirklich besonders gemacht hat.

Ein kleiner Wermutstropfen war allerdings die Sauberkeit. Vor allem im Außenbereich hatten wir den Eindruck, dass an manchen Stellen – beispielsweise Fensterbrettern – nicht gründlich gereinigt wurde. Es gab viele Spinnweben sowie Silberfische im Haus, und Vogelnestbauteile auf den Möbeln am Balkon haben leider nicht gerade dazu eingeladen, die Zeit draußen entspannt zu genießen. Etwas schade fanden wir auch, dass wir statt der erwarteten Pflegeprodukte offenbar angebrochene bzw. übrig gebliebene Produkte vorheriger Gäste vorgefunden haben. Zudem war ein beachtlicher Teil des Geschirrs leider noch verschmutzt – das ist aus unserer Sicht ein klares No-Go. Gerade angesichts des doch beachtlichen Preises hätten wir uns in puncto Sauberkeit und Detailpflege etwas mehr erwartet. Für die Herzlichkeit der Gastgeber vergeben wir 10 Sterne, ebenso für den Charme des Hauses. Bei der Sauberkeit müssen wir allerdings leider einige Punkte abziehen. Insgesamt hatten wir dennoch eine schöne Zeit – mit etwas mehr Augenmerk auf die Reinigung wäre das Erlebnis nahezu perfekt gewesen.

What a place! Lisa was so responsive on Booking messenger and, although we didn't meet her, she made us feel very looked after. The apartment is quintessentially Bavarian and the location is very quiet and peaceful.

There aren't a lot of amenities within walking distance and the local supermarket was quite expensive as a result.

Eine rundum perfekte Unterkunft für Silvester! Top ausgestattet, sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und absolut sauber. Wir haben uns sofort willkommen und wie zu Hause gefühlt. Lisa ist eine wunderbare Gastgeberin – wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können die Unterkunft nur empfehlen.

Everything was perfect! I highly recommend this accommodation! :) We rented the small house, which was very well equipped with everything we could possibly need. The best thing was the fireplace, which could be lit. :) The accommodation even provided bicycles that could be used free of charge.

Chaloupka je malá roztomilá. Ložnice je v nejvyšším patře, pod ní je obývací pokoj a v přízemí se nachází kuchyně a wc se sprchou. Schody jsou strmé, tak to berte na vědomí. Jinak chata je pohodlná, útulná, soukromá. K dispozici i venkovní posezení. V kuchyni najdete připravené dzemy, nutelu, čaje, kávu, smetanu do kávy, džus, vodu, tablety do myčky, koření, oleje a pár dalších věcí. K parkování je dost prostoru. Komunikace je snadná přes whatsapp. Byli jsme velmi spokojeni, rádi přijedeme zas. Doporučuji.

V kuchyni mi jen chyběla utěrka na nádobí.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay here. A chalet with a lot of character. Clean and comfortable. Lovely kitchen. Obertraun is a lovely Alpine village away from the bustle of Hallstatt. Ideal for those looking to stay in a quiet place and engage in outdoor activities like hiking, cycling etc. in the surrounding areas. Very responsive and competent management.

Ein kleines Ferienhaus abgelegen vom Tourismusgeschehen und doch so nahe zu vielen Ausflugszielen. Perfekt für Menschen die gerne etwas mehr Ruhe haben wollen. Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet und bietet einige Plätze zum Entspannen. Die Stiegen ließen uns schmunzeln das sie doch etwas steiler sind was in dem Haus einfach nicht anders geht aber es passt einfach alles gut zusammen;) Kontakt war sehr freundlich!

Нам все понравилось. Было все необходимое. Хозяйка подсказала где можно выгулять нашего лабрадора. Близко к озеру. Комфортно, спокойно и уютно.

We stayed in the separate cottage, which was lovely. Everything was clean and ready. There was milk and juice for us, as well as Nutella, tea, a coffee machine, and jam for breakfast. The location was wonderful, and there were no issues with parking.

The property was super cute,perfect for weekend away. The surrounding was very pretty. If you have small children or are elderly this propery is prob not right for you though, as there are a lot of steep steps.

Absolutely fabulous stay. The apartment was in a beautiful location, surrounded by mountains. The sofa bed in the lounge worked great for our daughter and meant she had her own space. The bikes for use were so handy for a quick pedal down to the lake. I am so pleased we stayed here rather than Hallstatt. It was a great base to explore the area and we hope to visit again.

Very quirky chalet, nicely decorated. Perfect place for relaxation. Gorgeous views.

Stairs are a bit steep, so caution if you have any mobility issues. It did not bother us particularly, and the host was very transparent about this when we booked.

Check in was easy. Emails explained everything. Location was awesome we walked from train station and everywhere else. Kitchen stocked with most things plus farm fresh eggs which was real nice! Bed and bedding in good condition. The patio had a great view of the mountain and the sheep....it was quiet for the most part. Shower was hot and water pressure great! We loved it!

We loved the location. The place was comfortable and we used the small room to chat, plan and play games. They left us fresh eggs and juice which was extra special. And Lisa was very nice helped us with questions that we had.

The kitchen was equiped with everything and a little more. Wood for the oven was also included. Parking space directly in front of the tiny house. Check in was super uncomplicated with the host. Perfect stay in the middle of the nicest places in Austria. -> Be careful if you are not fit with climbing, since the ladders and stairs are quite steep.

Chalet am Sonnenhang exceeded our expectations for a wonderful stay in a very comfortable apartment with spectacular views. The owners were extremely helpful and accommodating and we had a great time here. Not to be missed!

The Chalet is a13 minute walk from the Obertraun train station. It is an 8 minute walk to the bus to Hallstatt. Obertraun is a picturesque, peaceful village away from the crowds of Hallstatt. It has some 700 residents. There is a supermarket but restaurants are limited. The property is beautiful ... surrounded by mountains. It is impeccably maintained. The apartment was adorable and well outfitted. The owner provided water, orange juice, cofee and tea. She was also very helpful with directions and recommendations. The bed was comfortable, kitchen well equipped and bathroom spacious. I couldn't ask for nothing more! I enjoyed waking up and seeing the sheep graze!! I would highly recommend this Chalet!!

Loved this older house. It has been updated very nice and has all that you would need for several days. Older house so creaky floors and steep stairs but has lots of charm. Large shower & bathroom. Bed was comfortable. Beautiful views of the mountains. Lisa was very helpful and easy to work with.

We enjoyed the personal touches that the apartment included- coffee maker, the warm greeting when we arrived and the comfortable bed.

Our stay at Chalet am Sonnenhang was delightful. It was a pleasure to meet Lisa and Gabbie, and it was clear that they take great pride in thieir property -- as they should -- because it is extraordinary! The suite was very quiet, private, authentic & tastefully decorated, and provided for a very unique experience. The sauna was a nice added amenity, and simple enough that we could figure out how to use it without complications. The grounds are charming, and well-maintained. We highly recommend Chalet am Sonnenhang to future guests and hope to return, someday!

Obertraun is the perfect location to stay in the region of Hallstatt. The forest, the mountains, and the beach at the lake are flawless. I loved the house. We had a beautiful view.

Very clean and relaxing place. About 5 miles from Hallstatt which is very convenient by bus, car or by boat. The host is very nice and friendly and very accommodating.’she offer to let us use their bikes to ride around. You can walk around the property which has sheep and chickens. Overall it’s a 5star for me

It is a very cosy tiny house! We loved the woody character of the house and it had all the facilities you need. The location is great in a beautiful calm town within a few kilometres from the busy Hallstatt. The train station is nearby, so you can take the train to explore other places. Also the boat to Hallstatt is nearby. There are many hiking trails with different levels and difficulties. The owners left some fresh eggs from their chicken 🍳 That was very sweet of them. The supermarket of Obertraun is also nearby, maybe 10min walking. We really enjoyed our stay!

This property was amazing. It was in a quiet area and easy to walk to. If we could replan our travel in hindsight, we would have booked here for longer.

More of a me problem than a property problem. We forgot how much the cash visitor cost was and were a little short in euros as this was at the end of our trip. Reminder to everyone to save enough for that.

Wow. We stayed for one night outside of Hallstatt. What a beautiful apartment. Loved the espresso machine available and the freshest farm eggs you could ask for. It slept three of us well. We walked into Hallstatt (3.5 miles). It was a lovely and very easy walk to get to Hallstatt. But Obertraun had its own charm. Would definitely recommend in all aspects!!

It was a wonderful experience. A really cute and homey place with excellent hosts. Just be aware, lots of stairs! Bed was comfy, fireplace was really nice, and the farm fresh eggs were a nice bonus.

It was a beautiful chalet. Everything about it was great. Easily accessible, close to Hallstatt, car parking. The check in and check out was smooth. I highly recommend this place 💯.

오스트리아 전통 가옥을 경험할 수 있는 좋은 기회였습니다. 주차도 쉽고, 늦게 도착했는데도 안내를 잘 해 주셔서 좋았습니다. 다음에 가게 되면 꼭 다시 가보고 싶은 곳입니다.

Great location, friendly host and the kitchen contained coffee, oil, herbs, salt and pepper and many things that aren't usually there. We really liked the wooden cabin and the overall atmosphere in the apartment.

The curtains in front of the windows don't do a good job in keeping the lights out. Our stay would have been perfect with a darker room during the night.

The host was super friendly, she was there to greet us and show us around. She even gave us some eggs from her farm when she saw that I was about to cook for my baby. The house was so nice! Beautifully decorated, clean, with modern facilities. We had such a great stay.
