Spotlessly clean room in a lovely garden. Friendly and knowledgeable hosts.

One of the reviews we read before booking said it was located in the town. That said, its only a short drive and well worth it.

Single compact room with ensuite, very comfortable and clean.

A bit remote, however still only a 5 (ish) minute drive to town. The room was a little small.

Ken and Jenny were kind hosts, very welcoming and have a great setup for travellers, nestled in the bush above the Geraldine township. The room was very quiet and warm, the parking and access was easy and had a very pleasant stay.

There were no negatives. Everything about the booking met or exceeded my expectations.

Staying here worked well for us. It’s slightly out of Geraldine central but we had a car so this wasn’t an issue. Beautiful quiet setting. The hosts were very accommodating and friendly. They had a couple of very nice cats that I thought were wonderful.

Jenny and Ken are great hosts. There was everything to like. It was the most enjoyable stay, including a generous breakfast. The home is in a beautiful setting, with extensive gardens and bird life.

Très bon accueil même à une heure tardive. L'établissement est très spacieux ainsi que la chambre et la salle de bain qui nous étaient attribués. La literie était parfaite. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et excellent. Le parc est magnifique. Tout ceci donne envie d'y rester plus longtemps. Je recommande vivement.

Lovely and clean, very nice bedroom which was comfortable and a darkened room to sleep. A very pleasant couple hosting us. The bathroom for us was next door to our bedroom and it was very spacious and luxurious. Breakfast was plentiful and nicely cooked.

Very clean room and comfortable bedding. Room is cosy and full of character, we love the style! Everything was excellent! We would have loved to stay closer to Christmas time when the host will put up impressive decorations!

Breakfast was excellent. Gardens were spectacular. Hosts were very welcoming, including cats and the dog. Geraldine is a lovely small town with an esoteric variety of shopping at much lower prices than further south in tourist hotspots.

This is a wonderful place to stay. Such a quiet setting, with a fabulous garden, and fantastic hosts. The room was great with en-suite bathroom and a very comfortable bed.

The garden was spectacular, the location easy to find. Breakfast venue was first class and the owners went out of their way to accomodate requests and make you feel relaxed and at home Me.

This was a lovely BnB hosted by homeowners Jenni and Ken. The property and gardens were beautiful and the two cats and doggie were enjoyable as well. Breakfast was delicious - eggs, bacon, toast and homemade jams, fruit and granola + juice, coffee & tea. Geraldine is a cool little town and we enjoyed the auto/equipment museum as well as a nice latte at the record store (open on weekends). We completely enjoyed our one night stay.

We arrived in mid afternoon and were warmly greeted by our hosts. Our upstairs room was spacious and well appointed with a large comfy bed. The adjacent modern bathroom was large and featured lovely views across the fields. Breakfast was all that could be desired, as we chatted to our hosts and to another couple of guests.

We stayed overnight at Riverstone House in Geraldine Downs. Lovely friendly hosts and a very comfortable upstairs bedroom. Car ride to restaurants in the village. Our host made a delicious big breakfast the next morning. Lol....unfortunately we were not allowed to take Misty with us. Was perfect for our requirements.

A bit off the beaten track, but a lovely respite. Bellbirds singing and flowers blooming. Very comfortable with friendly hosts. The room was spotless with pastoral scenes out the window. The town is also charming. Be sure to check out Barkers

New Zealanders apparently use Duvets for beds, as do the Europeans, for their only sheet/cover. We find these too heavy and warm. We usually have to remove the inner comforter to use only the Duvet-cover, which is not quite warm enough! So, a separate blanket to use instead would be great. But then, we'd need spare sheet! Sigh! "Ferriners" can be so picky! 😁

Jenny was an outstanding host. The rooms were extremely clean and had all the amenities needed for a restful night. Breakfast was delicious and the icing on a perfect stay.

Die Gastgeber waren sehr nett und fürsorglich, das Frühstück war mit Liebe gemacht, leider liegt die Unterkunft weit ausserhalb. Die Gastgeber sollten aber deutlicher erwähnen, dass es Katzen in der Unterkunft gibt. Für Allergiker ist das nichts.

The gardens are superb we wished the weather had been kinder and we could have spent more time wandering around enjoying the rhododendrons in full bloom. The location was close to town and easy to find.

Absolutely nothing! The accommodation, the breakfast and our hosts Ken and Jenny were amazing.

It was just slightly out of town so quieter, the gardens were beautifully kept & our room The king suite with an amazing bathroom overlooking the garden was wonderful. The bed so so comfy, I had the best nights sleep that I’ve had in ages, the bell bird song at 7am was amazing just loved hearing his song. Our hosts were really friendly & welcoming. Breakfast was good quality & plentiful. Really good value … Thank you Ken & Jenny

What a find :) river stone is wonderful, in a really great location only just out of town so very peaceful & quiet. Our room the king suite upstairs was fabulous, the bathroom was huge & had a great view of the garden. The bed was so comfy I had the best nights sleep, the linen was soft & snuggly. The view of the garden was great. The bell bird song in the morning was so calming as I lay in this Devine bed waking up ( I love a good bed!) breakfast was good quality & plentiful. The hosts Ken & Jenny very friendly & welcoming.

Ken and Jenny were outstanding hosts, nothing was a problem. The garden is lovely and we loved coming back in the afternoon, sitting outside overlooking the lovely garden and enjoying the bird song with a glass of wine. There was fresh milk in the fridge with various drink options so if you didnt want wine you were covered.

Lovely little getaway with Ken and Jenny, they've created a cosy little space with lovely gardens and a very comfortable room. We didn't get to spend much time on the property but the surroundings looked beautiful. And the home cooked breakfast was absolutely lovely!

The property is not really close to town, but if you're driving then that's no biggie.
