Such a wonderful place, the Hotel has the most beautiful beach on the island. The staff is incredibly good. I loved them. Beautiful, large rooms with incredible sea views. The hotel services were excellent. Great service, great breakfast and excellent cuisine. I think this is the first hotel that has free kayak, paddle board rentals. A surprise for me was also the tee/coffee time every afternoon where you could refresh yourself. You can rent a stylish scooter directly at the reception for a fee of 300bth per day, which is great. I have been traveling to Thailand for many years, but this was one of the best stays for me. A small minus during our stay were some ill-mannered noisy guests who did not respect the peace of the night and, for my taste, many families with babies. Maybe the hotel could consider closing the part where the pool is in the evening.

Everything! The stay went beyond our expectations. 5* service from arrival to checkout, staff could not have been better. Great food for all meals, including decent choice for non-meat eaters. Relaxing beachside pool. The complimentary afternoon tea was a lovely surprise. Go for the hillside rooms which have incredible sea views and are very spacious with comfy bed.

Super Pool, super Lage direkt am Strand, große Zimmer, unkomplizierter Rollerverleih, kostenlose Kajaks und SUPs, Kaffee und "Kuchen" mit Sandwichs auch jeden Tag kostenlos, super leckeres Frühstück mit riesigen Eiskaffees ohne Aufpreis, sehr nettes Personal. Wir waren von A bis Z zufrieden und begeistert.

Wir haben eine Massage gebucht, welche bei schönem Wetter bestimmt auch angenehmer ist. Wir lagen in einem offenen Pavilion bei Regen und der Pavilion ist auch direkt neben dem Weg zum Restaurant. Also kommt man sich etwas wie auf dem Präsentierteller vor. Aber die muss man ja nicht buchen, deswegen bekommt das Hotel trotzdem 10 Punkte.

Petit bémol : on reste un peu isolés et il est compliqué de bouger de l’hôtel par nos propres moyens (besoin de louer un scooter ou voiturette à l’hôtel) Les sandflies : ils n’y peuvent rien et mettent à dispo de l’huile de coco et répulsif mais ça a été assez gênant car leur morsures crées de fortes démangeaisons

Lovely hotel. We felt so comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Stayed in a seafront bungalow and it was awesome. Would definitely come again.

We are deeply disappointed by the way we were treated and have yet to receive a proper response or resolution to these grievances. We expect you to address this matter immediately. While we understand that this is an older property and can accept occasional infrastructure or maintenance issues, those things were not the 'big deal.' We are grounded, reasonable people, but the disrespectful and insulting service we received throughout our stay crossed every line. It was not the facilities that ruined our honeymoon, but the complete lack of care and professional courtesy shown to us as guests. First and foremost, I would like to acknowledge the positive aspects of our stay. The island itself is breathtakingly beautiful, the hotel’s aesthetic is lovely, and there are members of your staff who are truly charming and kind. It is precisely because of these qualities that we feel compelled to write this; had we not been treated with such profound disregard, leaving us feeling deeply hurt and unwelcome, we would not have felt the need to complain at all. We arrived for a six-night stay, incredibly excited to celebrate our honeymoon and simply hoping to rest. Upon arrival, despite the reception being aware of my leg disability, we were assigned a room accessible only by stairs—stairs that were covered in animal waste and filth. As if this weren’t enough, shortly after entering the room, we heard noises above us and a lizard fell from the ceiling. We were moved to a different room, but the following day, the air conditioner began leaking water incessantly. Furthermore, the electrical outlets were faulty, and the walls were infested with fire ants. We allowed maintenance to address these issues, hoping this was behind us and longing for the peace and tranquility we had come for. The very next day, water began leaking from the ceiling in the shower.

Das Hotel bietet alles was man für den perfekten Urlaub braucht. Bungalows sind sehr gut ausgestattet, geräumig und perfekt auch für längere Aufenthalte. Großes Bad mit zusätzlicher Freiluftdusche, sowie großer Terrasse. Sehr schöner Poolbereich sofort am Strand gelegen mit Liegen und Liegebereich. Für den Strand stehen auch Liegen Bereit. Kayak, Stand Up sowie Poolhandtücher alles sofort am Eingangsbereich. Der Eingangsbereich ist Rezeption, Restaurant, Frühstücksbereich sowie Kayakverleih und Mückenspraystation in einem. Sehr schön offen designed Das Frühstück und die Küche sind gut. Preise von Speisen und Getränken sind fair. Cocktails um die 8€ mit Lieferung zum Pool. Das Hotel hat stand Mai26 einen riesigen weißen Strand Abschnitt für sich alleine. Der Zugang ist nur per Boot oder durch das Resort möglich. Hoffentlich bleibt es so, das macht es sehr ruhig. Wir haben uns absolut sicher gefühlt, haben den Bungalow nicht einmal abgeschlossen. Das Hotel liegt ein wenig abseits, wem das spazieren nicht liegt, kann sofort am Hotel Scooter oder Golf Cart leihen. 1000 Baht am Tag (+2000 deposit in Cash). Genug Bargeld mitbringen für Trinkgelder und Sonstiges, was man über diesen einen Geldautomaten liest ist die Wahrheit, wir waren 5 Tage auf Koh Mak und in dieser Zeit wurde er nicht repariert. Das Personal ist super freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend, was es schwer macht abzureisen die Elfen vom Roomservice haben alles erledigt, ohne das man es gemerkt hat. Wie das funktioniert ist noch fraglich, aber es war absolut toll. Wir können dieses Hotel absolut empfehlen. Egal ob Beach House oder Berg Apartment. Vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Super location. Excellent view from our hilltop room. Great breakfast. The beach was stunning as was the pool. Good watersports.. Shortish walk into town. A golf buggy was great transport for the family.

L'accueil, l'emplacement de l'hôtel, la vue magnifique depuis les chambres mais aussi l'espace restauration, la qualité du petit déjeuner (buffet) mais aussi de la restauration à la carte pour le déjeuner et le diner, la piscine magnifique face à la mer, l'espace massage extérieur, ...

le fait qu'il y avait malheureusement des mouches de sable : il faut donc être vigilant à bien se protéger pour éviter des piqures.

The staff are amazing, the vibe is immaculate, it is a beautiful place. The view from the hill top rooms are spectacular. The resort has direct access to one of the best beaches on the island.

There are a lot of lizards and other animals which find their way into the room, but that is part of being in nature.

Leider war unser Bad nicht sehr sauber. Kein Moskitoschutz in Form von Steckern für die Steckdose. Frühstück okay aber nichts besonders. Pool liegen sehr begrenzt. Erster Eindruck war nicht gut. Wollte gleich wieder fahren. Hatten aber dann doch eine schöne Zeit! Essen unbedingt außerhalb! Im Hotel doppelt so teuer und nicht gut. Man kann fußläufig leider nicht sehr viel machen.

I would say this was the best spot ever , that I’ve ever been. Everything was amazing. The view from the room in front of the beach is really breathtaking. The staff is so welcoming and friendly. And the island is really a beautiful one to go. Grab a motorbike and explore the island! You won’t regret. And stay here at mira montra ❤️

La vue depuis le balcon était somptueuse, la chambre est spacieuse, le petit déjeuner est très bon et varié.

Le staff est sympathique mais le Check-in/check out laborieux (peu de service). Les chambres avec balcon sont loin du restaurant, de la piscine et de l’accueil (l’hôtel est en pente donc escaliers à prévoir surtout avec les bagages!)

Had an amazing stay at Mira Montra! The location is stunning, the pool area is beautiful, and the food at the restaurant was surprisingly good. It’s the perfect spot for a getaway. The whole place has this laid-back, luxury feel without being too stiff. Would definitely come back!

Heerlijke plek, prachtig prive strand en baai, rustig, fijne kamers, mooie infinity pool, lekker eten, relaxte sfeer. Sups en kano's zijn gewoon inbegrepen, een scooter huren gaat heel makkelijk via de receptie. De locatie is top, fijn eiland is dit voor als je gewoon een rustige vakantie zoekt.

Het is soms even zoeken met het personeel wat je precies bedoelt omdat het Engels voor sommigen lastig is. Maar daarvoor zijn vertaalapps.

Sehr professionelles und freundliches Personal, unterstützen bei allem von der Ankunft bis zur Abreise und dazwischen; haben an alles gedacht, sogar an Details wie Mückenspray, Kokosnussöl für die Sandmücken und Wasserspender; Welcome-Drink; toller Pool mit Ausblick; kostenlose Kayaks/SUPs; Frühstück ist super!; sehr schöne Anlage; WLAN funktioniert gut; toller Blick auch von den Unterkünften am Hang (allerdings eher wenn man ein Zimmer im Obergeschoss hat!)

Quallen im Meer und leider nur bei Flut möglich im Meer zu schwimmen, Pool war ein Kinderparadies, schön für die Kinder für Ruhesuchende eher nicht ganz so schön

Der Meerzugang ist nicht ganz so top, man läuft über etwas eingedickten/schlickigen Sand, vor allem bei Ebbe. Schade, dass die Deluxe Villas nur für max. 3 Personen ausgelegt sind. So mussten wir als 4-köpfige Familie 2 Villen buchen. Für den gleichem Preis gibt es die Family Villa, diese bietet einiges mehr Platz.

Tolles freundliches Personal, es gab Kokosnuss Öl und Anti Mücken Spray zur freien Verfügung. Das Frühstück war sehr gut.

Mira Montra resort met our expectations in every way. The beach house is of course a great choice. We woke up thinking how beautiful life is. A reasonably rich selection of delicious dishes for breakfast. They never disappointed us with the a la carte dishes (dinner). The hotel staff is very friendly and dedicated to the guests. Our vacation was enriched by a motorbike (rented at Mira Montra). Thanks to the staff for an unforgettable vacation! Branko&Juju

-strand- kein schöner sand- lehmig, steinig weiter draußen, dort seeigel- ao soun yai beach nicht weit weg ist der perfekte strand. -restaurant hat sehr wenig ventilatoren, dadurch sehr heiss trotz offenem restaurant - deckenventilator im zimmer/ beach- villa wäre perfekt, so muss immer klimaanlage laufen.

Unser Bungalow in der zweiten Reihe war super. Die Distanz ins „Dorf“ ist auch zu Fuß gut machbar (Taxi 50b pro Person). Schöner Strand mit vielen schattigen Liege/Sitzmöglichkeiten. Mitarbeitende sind super organisiert, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Essen war ok. Zu empfehlen

Super Hotelanlage direkt am Strand. Umfangreiches Frühstück mit herrlichem Ausblick. Die Bungalows und Hotelzimmer sind sehr schön und geräumig. Der Pool ist sehr schön zum Baden.

Leider hatten wir als Nachbarn vier nervige Ostdeutsche die nur Bier getrunken und Party gemacht haben. Dadurch war es spät in der Nacht oft laut da sie wenig Rücksicht auf andere gegeben haben. Das Hotel kann dafür jedoch nichts.

Es gibt nach 21 Uhr keine Aufenthaltsmöglichkeiten oder ein Restaurant in der Unterkunft. Sehr abgelegen und ein steiler Aufstieg zu den Zimmern .

Haben für 2 Nächte ein Bungalow 1. Reihe Richtung Strand gebucht. Wurden bei der Ankunft auf ein Bungalow 2. Reihe zugwiesen. Nachdem wir die Rezeption darüber informiert haben, konnten sie uns nur noch für die zweite Nacht ein Bungalow am Strand organisieren. Somit mussten wir innerhalb des Hotels den Bungalow wechseln. Das Hotel erstattete uns die Differenz des Preises und offerierte ein Essen.

Ruhige Lage nicht allzu weit von der Hauptstraße weg in der man gut Essen gehen kann. Roller zum ausleihen und aber auch ein guter Taxiservice auf der ganzen Insel und oft fahren auch einfach die Leute vom Hotel. Man konnte auch bei Restaurants immer fragen ob sie ein Taxi zurück buchen können. So nah am Strand!!

Das Essen war nicht super. Wir waren lieber auswärts essen bis aufs Frühstück das war top Ist anscheinend eher teurer für die Insel aber wir haben es nicht bereut!

La vue du bungalow était magnifique. Il était très bien décoré dans un esprit minimaliste et très confortable. Pleins d’espaces pour s’installer face à la plage.

Gros coup de cœur sur cet hôtel magnifique. Sur une plage pour nous tout seuls. Les chambres sont spacieuses et confortables même si nous n’étions pas dans les bungalows vue mer mais dans le bâtiment juste au dessus. Le petit dej incroyable très qualitatif. Un goûter de 15h à 17h gratuit tous les jours. Ils prêtent des paddles, kayaks et masque/tuba. Le personnel aux petits soins. Je recommande vivement nous serions bien restés quelques jours de plus.
