Nangyuan Island Dive Resort

A szállás, a természet, a szigetek gyönyörűek, a szoba minden igényt kielégít, a kilátás pazar. A recepció és Tim a búvárközpont vezetője szuper kedvesek. Jó volt itt tölteni pár napot.

Sok turista jön a szigetre, szerencsére korán mennek is. Az étterem (Triple Beaches view restaurant) választéka repetitív és a személyzet nem beszél érdemileg angolul.

Posizione eccezionale. Dalle 15.30 fino alle 10 del mattino successivo presenti sull'isola solo gli ospiti del resort..... impagabile! Mare meraviglioso, ideale per lo snorkeling.

Struttura un po' datata. Discreto il ristorante thai sulla spiaggia, non provato il ristorante internazionale.

Perfekte Lage - besonders zu genießen wenn sich der Hauptstrom der Touristen zwischen 10 Uhr morgens und 16 Uhr nachmittags verabschiedet hat.

Die kleine Insel und die einzige Hotelanlage werden tagsüber sehr stark besucht und der Strand ist überbelegt. Das kann auch auf die Dauer für die Korallen ( viele sterben bereits ab ) und die Fische nicht so gut sein.

Camera molto (forse un po' troppo) spartana, basterebbe poco per renderla più accogliente e funzionale. Pavimento sempre pulito ma i sanitari non vengono mai lavati (abbiamo soggiornato per 7 giorni)

L’unica cosa bella che ha questo resort è la posizione incantevole e il mare bellissimo. Per il resto è tutto da rivedere.

Il resort non è per nulla manutenuto, ci sono lavori in corso, macerie ovunque e sporcizia, un grande peccato dato che si trova immerso nella natura. Le camere sono oltre il minimal, sprovviste di qualsiasi cosa per appoggiare valige e vestiti, per lo meno quella dov’è noi alloggiavamo (abbiamo dovuto appoggiare tutto sul pavimento). Il ristorante principale inoltre ha prezzi davvero alti per cibo piuttosto mediocre e l’unica alternativa è il ristorante sulla spiaggia che è più un bar che un ristorante, vende cibo che sembra per lo più surge lane , ha personale scortese e prende l’ultima ordinazione alle 20. Considerando il prezzo di questo resort e considerando che dalle 10 del mattino alle 15 l’isoletta viene presa d’assalto dai turisti giornalieri e quindi anche la pace finisce, lo sconsiglio vivamente. Penso che a Koh Tao si possano trovare altre strutture con mare bello e servizi adeguati a un prezzo accettabile, senza doversi imprigionare in questo resort.

Trochę śmieci ,pomiędzy domkami jakieś stare agregatory leżały ,można by było to posprzątać ;)

Mare stupendo e spiaggia totalmente a disposizione dei clienti del resort. Personale gentile e disponibile a risolvere i problemi occorsi.

Prenotato per 4 soluzione con 1 letto matrimoniale e 1 letto a castello, mi hanno dato 1 soluzione con letto matrimoniale, un materasso a terra ed un lenzuolo su un minuscolo divano. Hanno quindi messo un altro materasso a terra, sostituito poi da un futon nuovo in quanto ho visto da dove era stato recuperato il materasso (un magazzino sotto un bungalow, aperto, che chissà quale pulizia.. probabilmente anche il primo materasso proveniva da lì, ma occhio non vede..). Comunque la pulizia della camera c’è, manca l’adeguamento per quello che è la maintenance. E anche, in un’isola bellissima, ci sono rifiuti di lavori abbandonati, poca manutenzione. Infine, unici ristoranti presenti, buoni, ma con prezzi abbastanza esagerati.

Wonderful snorkeling (and dining) in the Japanese gardens right off the beach. Having this beautiful island, beaches and coral reefs essentially to yourself from the afternoon until the following morning is a wonderful, amazing and special experience.

The diving club could be more organized. We did not mind, but there are lots of stairs to the rooms. This place is not accessible (they are upfront about it).

The Location is exceptional. You are in paradise! We also loved the restaurant overlooking the islands. The lady at the reception was super friendly helping us make the stay as comfortable as possible.

During daytime, a lot of day tourists come to the island.

Wir hatten einen Bungalow (Suite) mit Meerblick. Der Blick aus dem oberen Zimmer war traumhaft, der aus dem unteren auf drei Plastiktanks (siehe Fotos). Wir haben Frühstück dazu bekommen und könnten das Zimmer nach Rücksprache zwei Stunden später verlassen, das war sehr kulant. Die Schnorchel könnte man für die gesamte Zeit behalten und sind sehr günstig (150 THB). Die Unterwasserwelt auch nur per Schnorchel ist fantastisch, morgens sieht man Haie am Strand.

Die Insel macht auf Öko, was wir sehr gut finden, man muss beim Betreten Plastikflaschen abgeben. Andererseits liegt in einigen Ecken (zum Beispiel beim Aufstieg zum View Point) Müll, das müsste nicht sein. Das internationale Restaurant hat schönen Blick , ist aber etwas überteuert bzw. Hat nicht viel zu bieten für Vegetarier.

La struttura si trova in un piccolo paradiso, i bungalow erano immersi nella vegetazione di una “collina”, a seconda del livello in ogni caso ci sono scale piuttosto ripide da salire/scendere. Le stanze erano spaziose, con arredi semplici. Ho trovato utile il servizio di prenotazione traghetti alla reception. Se posso dare un consiglio, non soggiornerei oltre 3 notti.

L’isola dalle 10.00 alle 15.00 viene invasa di turisti e la piccola spiaggia diventa molto affollata, ma quando se ne va l’ultima barca si ha la possibilità di godere di un luogo incantevole dove fare snorkelling e rilassarsi. Gli unici due ristoranti presenti sono piuttosto cari. La colazione, al costo di 10 euro a persona, è buona ma nulla che ne giustifichi il prezzo, considerando che non è nemmeno a buffet.

un petit poteau en plus pour pouvoir mettre mon hamac et une direction plus claire pour trouver le restaurant perché sur la colline, c'était en travaux certe, mais ils pourraient laisser moins de déchets autour des travaux

Sehr besonderer und exclusiver Ort. Die Insel ist wunderschön und man hat sie 19h am Tag für sich allein und auch die „beschriebenen Touristenmassen“ haben sich untertags in Grenzen gehalten. Das Personal ist sehr bemüht und freundlich. Unglaubliche Tauch- und Schnorchellocation! Auch die beiden Restaurants auf der Insel sind sehr gut und es ist gut dass eines bisschen teurer und eines etwas günstiger ist, da man als Gast die Wahl hat.

Leider merkt man dass sich auf der Insel schon viel Müll sowohl am Strand als auch im Bereich der Bungalows und Baustelle ansammelt. Außerdem müssen wir auch bemängeln, dass wir nicht den Bungalow bekommen haben das wir gebucht haben. Etwas was uns ebenfalls aufgefallen ist, ist dass wir auf alle Bookingnachrichten keine Antwort erhalten haben.

A very lovely and well-maintained property; the rooms are spacious, very clean, and offer a beautiful view. Sunset and morning on the island—when the crowds of tourists have cleared out—are truly magical; highly recommended. The experience is well worth the price.

Nous avions une chambre fabuleuse avec piscine commune à deux logements. Le logement était immense.

À plus de 400 € la nuit, j’ai regretté que nous n’ayons pas de terrasse. Surtout quand on voit le panorama. Le restaurant pratique des prix franchement excessifs pour une qualité modeste. Les abords de l’hôtel ne sont pas très bien entretenu entre les passerelles vieillissantes et les déchets. Attention, c’est un peu la galère avec les navettes : arrivée tôt le matin et ne pas avoir de chambre avant 14 heures alors qu’il fait une chaleur de fou, c’est assez compliqué, d’autant plus quand les commerçants, vous demandent de partir de leur terrasse, parce que ça fait trop longtemps que vous n’avez pas consommé

Le cadre idyllique jusqu’à 10h et après 15h efface tous les autres problèmes. Décor et vue du restaurant en hauteur.

Le service est totalement inefficace (malgré le nombre et la gentillesse) Rapport qualité prix catastrophique Saleté du site. Aucune maintenance. Tout est en vrac. Qualité de la cuisine internationale (le restaurant thai est bon)

Nous n’avons pas eu la chambre demandée car elle était en dis fonctionnement à la place on nous a donné une chambre qui était dans un état affreux heureusement ils nous ont encore changé de chambre qui était nettement plus propre et récente. Par contre l’île est splendide nous avons vu des bébés requins le matin c’était incroyable !

Certaines chambres sont dans leur jus ! Et les alentours des chambres servent de dépotoir c’est vraiment dommage

The location was idyllic and just heavily and our accommodation - in the trees just above the restaurant - lovely. Amazing views - couldn’t be beaten. Having the beach to yourself alone the Tourists had gone was so fabulous. The snorkelling was brilliant!

Lots of steps but not a bother! The restaurant was a total let down. Food choices minimal, not brilliant, vegetarian ‘choice’ was not vegetarian. Such a disappointment for a birthday meal in such a heavenly place. Staff not trained or skilled, really unaccommodating to be honest. Customer service training would be a good idea!

Il ristorante in cui si deve far colazione ha piatti cari rispetto a quanto viene servito (es. Due pancake piccoli come porzione) e anche il menù della cena è caro rispetto alla qualità del cibo. Consigliabile andare al ristorante sulla spiaggia che offre ottimi piatti thailandesi a costo opportuno.

I had no expectations when booking the hotel. Read the reviews and knew all I want was coming back to Nang yuan Island. Were here 15 years ago for a few hours and this time I just wanted to stay there. So the Island was everything I remember and needed, but the hotel…. I think it’s a bit shame that as the only place to stay there, they can afford themselves to be that low. Rooms are old, not hot water in the shower. We had the chalet with 2 rooms and the shower downstairs smelled like sewerage so we didn’t use that one, sink there was broken as well. Beds are very stiff. No safe box and also no locks on windows. You come back from the beach with sand on your flip flops of course and quickly it’s all over the place because you don’t even have a small broom to handle it. Dinner on the restaurant is like kids’ restaurant (could have been nicer to dine well in this amazing view). Not so much service mindset on reception and restaurant. On the good side - air conditioners were great, porch has amazing view of course and the beach guides are the friendliest. This place could have been a stunning experience, like most precious pearls places around the world. Especially with the amount of money charged per night. So just come with only expectation- being on one of the amazing places in Thailand, along with a very small group of people from 3pm till 10:30am, snorkeling, swimming with amazing fishes and some baby sharks. Next time I would settle for the few hours on this amazing island with everyone else.

S’ochtends zwemmen met haaien en voor 10:00 en na 15:00 idyllische rust als de dagjesmensen zijn vertrokken. Kamers zijn romantisch maar een beetje gedateerd, dat vergeet je snel door het uitzicht. Als je slecht ter been bent wss geen optie zeker als een je een kamer hoger op de heuvel hebt. Verder topservice via receptie

No es un hotel lujoso en el sentido tradicional, ya que las habitaciones son muy simples (faltan ganchos para colgar las toallas, no hay estantes, jabon de mano....). Pero realmente tampoco hace falta, ya que estás en la naturaleza, y es lo qie es especial (y se paga)

Man føler man er på bryllupsreise da man har hele øya for seg selv mellom 15.00-10.00! Helt fantastisk. Maten er ganske dyr iforhold til koh tao, men verdt det. Anbefaler 2-3 netter

De 19 timer alene på øen var fantastiske og udsigten

Husene er meget gamle og slidte. Vi kunne høre dyr på vores værelse om natten. Vi fikse vide det var krabber, Men jeg er ikke sikker. Gulvet har sprækker så man kan se direkte ned på fundamentet, så der kan komme dyr ind. Der var ikke gjort rent bag gardiner i måneder

Geweldige locatie. Als de dagtoeristen komen lekker chillen bij je huisje en mensen kijken. Daarna het paradijs voor jezelf. Huisjes heerlijk ruim en fijn.

Je betaalt zonder ontbijt maar moet bij hen ontbijten. Doe gewoon bij de prijs in, voelt veel minder gierig. Prijs Europees gezien prima, Thais gezien prijzig, ook voor wat je krijgt.

Un piccolo paradiso … camere sopra le aspettative, la nostra stupenda con vista mare e panca esterna per godere del panorama. Camera bella, pulita, luminosa e accogliente. Resort da sogno…. Isola da sogno.

Домик был с видом на косу. Очень все внутри было чисто ухожено и не грязно. Все работало хорошо. Хороший напор воды . Кондиционер и телевизор. Хороший бар. Завтрак был на 3 персоны бесплатным . Понравилось что персонал решил проблему оплаты. Карту не принимало и мы расплатились часть батами и часть евро.

Осторожно спускайтесь по лестнице с мокрыми ногами. Я очень сильно упала и набила огромный синяк на попе.

В восторге полном от этого оттеля. Лучший оттель в нашей жизни. Очень очень заботливый персонал, обеспечил комфорт во всем. Вернемся

The location is amazing.

From 10am-3pm the island is teeming with tourists - no escaping them and nowhere private to relax.

L'isola è davvero molto bella e già quello compensa tutto il resto. La struttura è carina, un pò vecchiotta con un arredamento tipico un pò old style. Lo staff è molto cortese. in questo momento stanno facendo dei lavori di ristrutturazione quindi consiglio magari le camere più in alto e non quelle in basso. ottimo il ristorante in alto, mentre invece evitate come la peste quello della spiaggia. Cibo super scadente, carissimo e personale davvero maleducato.

Vilken underbar ställe! Absolut en av resans bästa höjdpunkter. Alla var jättetrevliga och hjälpsamma. Jag var väldigt orolig för att bära alla väskor upp till rummet men så snart att vi anlände kom direkt en kille som tog väskorna, ledde oss till incheckningen och sen bar våra väskor till rummet utan att förvänta sig någon betalt eller dricks för det. Även när vi skulle hem fick vi inte bära själva utan öns arbetare bar åt oss. Rummen var stora och bekväma och badrummen är väldigt stora och rymliga. En av de var byggt in i berget, super fint. Jättebra vattentryck. I rummet fanns det bland annat både badtofflor och gott om dricksvatten. Utsikten från restaurangen uppe (middag och frukost) är otrolig (se bild). Även utsikten från vårt balkong var väldigt fin. Stranden och vattnet är väldigt rena. Allmänheten får bara vara där mellan 10 och 15. Resten av tiden har man en nästan privat strand (som man kan se på bilderna). Det är ingen Michelin restaurang men maten håller bra mått och priserna är väldigt bra. Det var i alla fall rena lycka att sitta där på kvällen. Tyvärr trodde jag för mycket på en del dåliga recession och bokade endast en natt. Jag tror att folk har felaktiga förväntningar. Man måste komma ihåg att man är på en öde ö i Thailand, där salt och sol förstör allt man bygger dagligen och där det är svårt att upprätta perfekt underhållning jämt. Det är väldigt brant och bara det att man har ren vatten överallt är imponerande. Vi blev väldigt överraskade och stället var över alla våra förväntningar.

Det dåliga var att vi bokade endast en natt där. Jag blev ledsen över att vi inte tog flera nätter. Mitt råd är att inte lyssna på de dåliga recessioner allt för mycket.

The location was absolutely amazing and the staff were so helpful and accomodating. Absolutely worth staying just for the exclusivity of the beach and snorkelling outside of tourist times.

The food available was not great, understandably it’s a very small island serving very few guests.

Strandvilla direkt am Meer. Am Morgen bis 10.00 und ab 15.00 Uhr ist man alleine im Paradies.

Wir hatten kein Wasser in der Dusche was jedoch vorkommen kann auf solch einer paradischer Insel. Es wurde dann aber schnell repariert. Wir haben zwei ganze Säcke voll Müll in 1 Stune am Strand gesammelt was eigentlich vom vielen Personal zu erwarten wäre. Wenn das Personal jeweils am Morgen nur 15min kurz ein Strand Clean up machen würde, wäre die Natur sehr dankbar.

Beautiful island

I bought a papaya salad at the beach restaurant and asked for it to be vegan. The woman nodded at me, and I wasn't sure she understood, so I repeated it saying PLEASE no fish/clam sauce or shrimp flakes and what not. I got the salad and immediately smelled fish sauce and asked to replace it. She yelled at me, then her daughter or whomever the young lady next to her was started cursing at me in Thai. Long story short, I ended up sitting there for about half an hour waiting for a new one that never came - when I asked for the money back, since I didn't receive anything for it she just said no. The salad cost 180 baht, which is pretty expensive for a freaking papaya salad, but that wasn't even the point. There's literally only 2 restaurants on the island, so not many choices. Complained to the hotel - they said it's an outside provider or whatnot. Besides for that uncomfortable experience, all was good.

I'm already dreaming of coming back here. The rooms are extremely comfortable and there's nothing better than waking up to a nearly private island with amazing snorkeling.

O experiență extraordinară pe această insulă. Restaurantul cu mâncare foarte bună. Personalul extraordinar de atent și mereu pregătiți să ne ajute cu bagajele, șezlongurile sau orice altă cerință. Recomand din toată inima

The location is amazing. On a sort of secluded island with only a small ferry boat to take you back and forth. Once the tourists boat leave around 2-3PM the place is yours. The restaurant on top of the hill has ample view and the staff is friendly. It only serves the hotel guests so it is private and intimate. Swimming early morning in around the island was a unique treat.

Our room was a bit rustic. Don't expect fancy hotel amenities. It is plain but well worth it because the location is so amazing. Coming to Koh Tao from the bustle of the mainland this hotel allowed us to rest and rejuvenate. Suggest at least a two day stay there for new comers to Koh Tao and then transition to a hotel on the island.

Beautiful spot and likely best snorkeling I have seen

Fantastic beach, it is like heaven better than pictures. Decent quality food in the international restuarant and coctails are also good quality, but international restuarant is very expensive. Room by the beach was amazing - cant beat the view. Very helpful staff.

Room is very outdated. I killed a giant cockroach... room outdated wooden floor has some gaps letting bugs in. Shower is extremely weak, hardly can call that a shower. Expensive international restuarant. Safe doesnt work. There is only one tiny mirror in the room (bathroom) and lighting is poor.

Les trois îles de Nangyuan sont magnifiques, encore plus quand on les a que pour nous. C’est idyllique. La vue depuis le Bungalow est à tomber. Le lit était très confortable. Le petit-déjeuner était plutôt bon, bien que la machine à café soit « hors service ». On a même vu un requin en faisant du snorkelling.

Sur une île privée aussi belle avec une nuit onéreuse on a certaines attentes. L’accueil n’a pas été à l’image de la Thaïlande, on nous demande tout de suite nos passeports, même pas une boisson de bienvenue alors qu’on vient d’enchaîner plusieurs heures de bateau… Le reste du staff est indifférent à la clientèle, certains sont complètement avachis. Le staff doit vraiment se former au standing de la restauration, ils ne savent pas servir et vous donne les plats dans les mains, les couverts en vrac, les boissons et les plats n’arrivent pas en même temps, ils viennent à 3 pour vous servir.. Le restaurant n’est vraiment pas bon et cher ! Ils servent des plats qui n’ont rien de thaïlandais. La douche c’est un filet d’eau, au prix de la chambre c’est honteux. Beaucoup de choses à améliorer pour avoir un bien meilleur rapport qualité-prix.

We stayed five nights in a Beach Villa right in front of the ocean. Early mornings and late afternoons were spent snorkeling in completely empty waters, the Japanese Garden side in the morning, and the beach by the pool bar in the afternoons (during the day, when it got busy with day-visitors, we relaxed in our air-conditioned room, simply enjoying the ocean view). Every evening, we watched the sun set over the horizon. It felt different every day, and we never got tired of it. Some reviews mention that the facilities are not great, but considering this is such a remote island, we truly appreciated being able to stay in a villa with air conditioning, a flushing toilet, and even a hot shower (though water pressure is on the weaker side). There is no proper water infrastructure here, so all water must be brought in. At this price point, being able to stay comfortably—and to have the ocean almost entirely to ourselves in the mornings and evenings—felt like incredible value. We tried the beach bar once but had all our other meals at Three Views Restaurant. Prices are slightly on the higher side, but the staff were attentive and the food quality was much better than expected. From pasta and salads to burgers, everything we tried was consistently good. Breakfast here is not extensive, but it’s delicious, and the view is outstanding. Cappuccinos and lattes are included—and unlimited—which was a nice bonus. Housekeeping was done daily, with towels and drinking water replenished each day, which we really appreciated. Staying five nights allowed us to experience the island in different moods, and we left completely satisfied.

Really worth staying here for two nights. It's a unique experience, and the views are just jaw-dropping. NangYuang gets busy during the day, usually from 10 am to 3:30 pm, when visitors come for a day trip. So, early in the morning and after 4 pm, we almost had the triple beaches to ourselves. Additionally, you can have the very popular NangYuang viewpoint all to yourself, avoiding lines and crowds. Great breakfast at the Triple Beaches restaurant and the Beach bar has Thai food to die for! We will definitely be back!

Very comfortable and simple bungalow. The only downside: no beach vibe inside. The bathroom had porcelain tiles and basic decor, it felt more like a city hotel room. Still, we liked it and were comfortable.

l'île est simplement paradisiaque, une fois les touristes à la journée partis ou tôt le matin, l'ile est à nous, snorkel, viewpoint, il n'y a plus un chat. la chambre est confortable, la terrasse et le petit coin sunbath est agréable. rien à redire. le nuitée parait chère de prime à bord, mais les deux nuits que nous y avons passées en valait la peine, le restaurant ou sont servis les petits déjeuner possède une magnifique vue. Pour le transport sur l'ile depuis koh tao voir directement avec la cie de ferry lompraya (même propriétaire) ils disposent d'une navette gratuite entre les deux iles pour les résidents de l'hotel.

Amazing Location! Such a gorgeous, peaceful island. It is definitely worth staying at the resort, as after 4pm, you pretty much get the island all to yourself. The room had such a gorgeous view and the restaurants had nice food. You can get snacks during the day from the beach bar. Overall, we loved our stay.

Unfortunately, the bed was extremely uncomfortable. It was like laying in concrete :( there is no cushioning. I think for one night it is OK but after the second night, we both couldn't move as our back and neck were sore.

Die Insel ist wirklich traumhaft schön. Obwohl tagsüber extrem viele Tagestouristen anreisen, wird die Insel sehr sauber gehalten - das hat uns sehr beeindruckt. Die Bungalows sind auch sehr schön und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Das Frühstück fanden wir leider etwas einfältig. Eine Toilette sowie ein Mülleimer für Resortgäste in direkter Nähe des Strandabschnitts wäre vorteilhaft gewesen. Abgesehen davon fanden wir alles super!

This place is legitimately magical! It’s almost surreal being there. Snorkeling and diving were good. Staff was great. We stayed 2 nights and thought that was perfect amount of time. All the tourist boats leave early afternoon and then you have the entire island basically to yourself. We actually had fun sitting on our balcony watching the swarm of day trippers wonder around trying to get the perfect instagram picture of paradise. Very entertaining!

There are mosquitoes. But there are mosquitoes on every island in the world so no big deal.

Het uitzicht is fantastisch, als er nog geen daggasten zijn is het een waar paradijs. Je mocht geen plastic flesjes meenemen, er is een apart rookgedeelte uit het zicht. Het restaurantje op het hoofd eiland is veel beter dan het duurdere restaurant bij het resort.

Zodra de daggasten er zijn, vanaf 10.00-15.00, is het absurd druk. Het idyllische van het eiland is dan volledig verdwenen. Daarnaast kwamen ze vaak al eerder tegen 9.40 en bleven er dagelijks ook groepsjes langer tot bijna 16.00. Als je resortgast bent, wordt je anders behandeld. Je bent echter niet te herkennen voor het personeel en moet ze hier zelf attent op maken. Het eten en drinken is wel erg prijzig, de kwaliteit is in het restaurant bij de huisjes niet echt heel smaakvol voor wat je er voor moet betalen. Er staan bijna geen prullenbakken, dit soort plekken zouden publiek meer moeten stimuleren om hun rommel direct weg te gooien in een prullenbak in plaats van de grond. Laat ze een zak met afval vullen vol een gratis cocktail o.i.d.

La vue depuis notre cottage était très bien. Sans vis-à-vis et intégré au sein de la végétation! Le personnel était présent, serviable et chaleureux. La navette depuis Koh Tao, spécialement prévu pour les personnes dans l’hôtel était appréciable. (pas besoin d’attendre au milieu des passagers des différents Ferry, et bateaux de touriste, qui font l’aller-retour sur l’île) En cas de visite de l’ile, il y a une vraie plus-value à séjourner dans l’hôtel compte tenu des heures où l’ile est réservé aux personnes séjournant dans l’hôtel.

Auch die Unterkunft auf der Insel ist sehr schön gelegen, mitten in der Natur mit direktem Blick aufs Meer. Morgens und abends, wenn weniger Tagesgäste da sind, hat der Ort eine ganz besondere, ruhige Atmosphäre.

Trop de monde de 10h à 16h , vraiment énormément de bateaux et dommage que le corail soit abimé devant mais si l on nage un peu il y a encore de belles choses

The island is a gem. The snorkeling is beaurifull if you have some patience—I saw sharks, rays, and turtles. The breakfast in the upper restaurant is high quality, and the staff in the downstairs restaurant are very personal and friendly. Outside of the day-tourist hours (10:00-15:00), the atmosphere and sunsets are magical.

1. Room Category Problems: Be careful. I paid high category for a Beach Villa but was placed to a bungalow located further up the hill. Instead of the beach at my doorstep, I had a steep climb and a view of treetops and the roof of the villa I actually booked (!) 2. Management: This was the most disappointing part. I complained in person and in writing, but they were dismissive. It took a formal dispute via Booking.com to get a 20% refund. But I'd rather have the beachvilla that I've paied for. 3. Facilities: For this price, the Wi-Fi is unacceptable. Multiple networks exist, but none are stable enough for basic use. ​The real Beach Villas are well-equipped, but the risk of being missplaced up the hill and then ignored by management makes this a "no" for me.

Exceptional stay. Everything was truly outstanding ...the room, the surroundings, privat island after 3 pm 😉, the cleanliness, the decor and the nature all around. The food was great and the service was impeccable. The quality of the whole experience far exceeded what you would expect for the price. Highly recommended.

The location is fabulous. Peace and tranquility once all the daily tourists had gone. Like having a whole island to yourself. The best snorkelling on the island.

The openness of the wooden accommodation without having a mosquito net over the bed. Woke to a giant spider in the room and took a massive cockroach away with me in my backpack. I guess this is jungle living though.

The views and tranquility of the island before and after the times of 10:00-15:00 were wonderful. Rare to be in Thailand and leaving the only foot prints on the beach in the evening. Beautiful.

The tourists between 10:00-15:00 ruin the vibe here, there are too many and can’t help think if they capped the numbers, the island staff and resources would be able to keep up. Also, there are no shops here and access to water is limited. The hotel do provide at least four bottles of water daily, however, as European tourists (UK) we easily went through 12 bottles, and still thirsty. Access to drinking water would definitely improve the comfort of our stay. Also, the western restaurant leaves a lot to be desired. I understand and expect to pay a premium for an island resort restaurant however, the western restaurant was poor quality and over priced. But the views were breathtaking. I would not recommend staying more than 2-3 nights and forget it if you have a young child or any disabilities. The WiFi was also very poor.

Sehr freundliches Personal an der Rezeption und bei dem Empfang am Hafen von Ko Tao. Koffer werden über den kompletten Strand getragen von sehr bemühten Männern. Personal am Hotelrestaurant ist wirklich super freundlich beim Frühstück genau wie beim Abendessen. Wir hatten auch eine Anfrage auf ein anderes Zimmer was problemlos funktioniert hat. Vielen Dank! Die Riffe sind auch wirklich wunderschön. Wir konnten von unserem Balkon aus Baby Haie im Wasser beobachten und mit ihnen Schnorcheln.

Das Restaurant am Strand ist leider wirklich eine Schande für diese Insel! Noch nie so unfassbar unhöfliches Personal in einem Restaurant gesehen wirklich noch nie in meinem ganzen Leben! Und das Massaman Curry war kein Massaman, sondern Paneng Curry mit Kartoffeln. Nach den Essen ging es einem leider auch nicht mehr gut. Ansonsten kommen natürlich viele Tagesgäste auf einmal auf die Insel aber die sind genau so schnell wieder weg wie sie kommen.

Secluded spot on a little island, raw nature around. Snorkeling opportunities off the beach. Also diving opportunities. Two restaurants, one western where you have breakfast and one Thai. The Thai one has curry’s that serve gigantic portions and so great, that is def their specialty. Island is dead quite after the sea of tourists stop. The hotel guests have a little area on the beach during the busy period just for them, so that you can pass time before the chaos ends. It passes by much sooner than you think.

Endroit spectaculaire , réserve naturelle magnifique. Personnel très agréable, chambres propres et restaurant (pas celui de la plage) bon.

Confort rustique mais propre. Petit déjeuner à améliorer . Un peu dans son jus mais ça fait partie du charme.
