Skotel Amsterdam, Hotelschool The Hague

Everything here was great for a last minute unexpected stay. Attentive friendly professional staff that went over and above to help me, comfy clean rooms, a decent breakfast and a midday check out time.

No food available apart from the vending machine or ordering in, once the restaurant was closed

Complimenti!

The housekeeping side was immaculate throughout. The friendliness of staff and willingness to try to help was great. It would have been handy to have a map of the city to support the explanations plus for the front desk staff to know the city more - a few recommendations would have been good. I would definitely recommend the hotel. Good job all round !

The public transport was trickier to use due to a closed road or something. Again, a map so we could be shown exactly where to go and which numbers and end points of trams and buses.. we were advised to use Google maps but didn't have internet outside the hotel so were lost.

Clean hotel with kind staff as most of them are first or second year students

Breakfast could have more options and gym is missing

Todella kiva konsepti. Henkilökunta/ opiskelijat todella mukavia ja avuliaita. Hyvä aamupala. Tilava huone sekä kylpyhuone, paljon kaappitilaa. Raitiovaunupysäkki oven edessä, kätevä yhteys lentokentälle sekä keskustaan. Kävellen keskustaan n. 4km. Rauhallinen alue. Vieressä ihastuttava Rembrantin puisto. Kävelyetäisyydellä ravintoloita ja kauppoja.

Habitación amplia y sin ruidos

Desayuno escaso

Her şeyi beğendik.

Lovely clean rooms, we had three rooms and they accommodated us next to each other. Nice breakfast, and good vibe with service from the students.

Nothing major. One of the rooms didn’t have a fridge, which was a bit odd.

Very clean and comfortable. Well appointed rooms. Lovely staff (students). Very well laid out breakfast. Tram outside was super convenient

Good sized room - plenty space, very clean, friendly and helpful staff, good location, breakfast good quality but limited choice.

Breakfast was good quality but limited choice.

This little hotel is a hidden gem. At first, we weren't sure if it was a school or a hotel, but eventually we had a great time. The staff are students studying the hotel industry and are super polite. The whole place is clean and calm. There's a bus stop right out front, and the metro is within walking distance. Our room was cleaned every day.

I'd love a mini fridge in the room. Some restaurant to have lunch or dinner throughout the day. During breakfast, it always took forever to get a cup of coffee and even longer to make an omelet. It is not so close to the center. It is suitable for solo travellers or couples less for children.

Great location, great staff, as they train do of course everything by the book

Bit on the outskirts, only short drive to center is by bike as taxi needs considerably longer (30 mins) so check beforehand

Super vriendelijk personeel, was proper, ruime kamer.

Ontbijt mocht iets uitgebreider

Hotel pulito ed accogliente e silenzioso . Un po’ fuori dal centro ma fattibile. Camera ampia e pulita. Staff gentile e disponibile.

Nihil

Alles gesloten tijdens weekend

Spacious and clean room, very good breakfast and awesome staff!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking below the hotel great for motorbike. it was 20 euros a night. We had one dinner cooked and served by the students. This was an excellent experience. Walking to the centre of Amsterdam takes under an hour.

There were difficulties getting WIFI on devices because of complicated security.

The students did a great job! They are the most polite staff that we have ever met, and we have traveled all around Europe. Reception, restaurant and every place of the hotel we met the staff, they were smiling and they showed great willingness to give us information we want. The rooms are big with plenty of space, clean, quiet. The hotel is just 50 meters from tram station. Breakfast was very good: eggs, omelets, ham and cheese, honey, marmelades, fresh vegetables and fruits are some of the foods they offered. It is the best value for money.

Sauber, sehr freundlich, sehr gutes Preis Leistung Verhältnis

Wenig Licht im Bad

My stay was nothing short of perfect—a serene escape defined by impeccable cleanliness and wonderfully spacious rooms. What sets this hotel apart is its quiet charm: the entire operation is run by attentive hotel students, guided seamlessly by experienced experts, which lends a fresh yet professional energy to the experience. The morning meal, while offering a limited selection, was fresh and satisfying—more than acceptable for a calm start to the day. A true privilege is the hotel’s location, just moments from the nearest tram stop, making exploration effortless yet leaving the property itself a peaceful retreat. Without hesitation, I will return—and I wholeheartedly recommend this haven to anyone seeking restful days and truly quiet nights.

Nothing

Modern design, Cleaned to a extremely high standard, Very spacious room with a minimalist vibe. Great for a rest and mental re set .

Slightly further away from the centre but if you want exercise then in the summer it’s perfect as it’s near a park.

Tutto perfetto, staff in primis ( studenti da tutta Europa che a turno svolgono varie mansioni nell'hotel), pulizia, silenzio, camera e bagno ottimi. Fermata tram di fronte all'entrata. Consigliato!

we enjoyed everything about the hotel, staff were amazing and rooms were spotless. we had a pleasant stay :)

the only thing would be that the vending machines could of had a drink with sugar instead of all options zero sugar, could be a big thing if you were diabetic and needed some sugar quickly!

Desayuno pobre

The staff were courteous & friendly & the room was very comfortable.

It was obvious the staff were trying their best, however we did find that there appeared to be a hierarchy whereby a senior member would intervene even though the junior member was dealing with the issue satisfactorily. With no dedicated member of staff dealing with our breakfast requirements we were not asked if we wanted anything from the hot breakfast menu. Also having requested a second coffee we had to repeatedly ask for it. This just feels like a little more organisation would make a big difference.

Besondere Atmosphäre, stets bemühte und hochmotivierte junge Menschen in Ausbildung, toll!

Nichts

Freundliches Personal, saubere Zimmer in perfekter Lage.

Newded curtains ticker.

El personal molt amable i encantador. L'esmorçar correcte. Les habitacions perfectes.

Unique place. A training center for hotel industry students. They were so nice attentive cute and helpful in every way

Personale molto gentile e professionale , ottima colazione

Super tranquilo.

Everything was perfect

Praticamente tutto!

We weren’t sure if it was a school or a hotel, but we are so happy we picked this place! It’s both a hotel school and a hotel, so it’s completely run by students. They are extremely professional (shout out Gaspar) and the rooms are super clean. For breakfast there is a little buffet and then you can choose which eggs to have (omelet, fried etc) and what coffee. The hotel itself is super quiet so we slept very well and the bed was very comfortable.

The air drier wasn’t working
