Excellent Stay at Sokha Palace Siem Reap! I recently stayed at Sokha Palace Siem Reap from August 2–6, 2026, and had a wonderful experience. The rooms were comfortable and well-maintained, and all the hotel facilities were clean throughout my stay. What truly made the visit stand out, though, was the warm hospitality. The entire staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and helpful. A special mention goes to Ms. Nirodey Kimnai Virut at the front desk, whose exceptional service, helpful attitude, and welcoming demeanor made my stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend Sokha Palace to anyone visiting Siem Reap and would happily stay here again!

Isolated area

Fantastic, super fancy hotel. Spotless clean room and bathroom, lots of space plus a balcony. Comfortable and enormous bed. Delicious breakfast, with almost too many choices. The pool is also good, though for the swimmers you need to take into account that while it is 25m long with 8 lanes, on one end it is super shallow, like 30cm, so laps not possible. The hotel is located slightly outside of the centre but it gives you the benefit of peace and quiet for the small price of a tuktuk to take you to shops and restaurants. The price for the quality of the hotel is really good. Definitely recommended.

Close to Angkor Wat, main restaurants, shopping. Nice buffet breakfast with lots of options. Good coffee from machine. Nice pool

Good location Friendly staff

A modern facility with a great pool but very little else. The Hoyle is part of a bigger complex, and quite close to Angor Wat. Hotel staff were super friendly and helpful.

The hotel seemed almost empty and so had no services of its own - and one had to travel to another hotel to get food etc. apart from breakfast being served.

Sokha Palace ist wirklich ein Palast. Wir waren sprachlos über die Ausstattung. 2 sehr große Swimmingpools, ein SPA Bereich der seinen Namen verdient, sehr aufmerksames Personal, sehr saubere Zimmer, überhaupt ist die gesamte Anlage in einem Top Zustand. Etwas ausserhalb vom Zentrum, jedoch klappte der Tuk Tuk oder Taxi-Service ausgezeichnet. Fußläufig ist noch ein Night Market erreichbar.

Absolutely stunning, spacious, and clean. The rooms were super comfortable and well equipped. Buffet breakfast was acceptable. Parking and pool were excellent. Staff were generally polite and helpful. Location closest to Ankor Wat

Not a walkable area around the property. À la cart options for dinner with two western and Limited. One of the receptionist staff misbehaving with my credit card.

Room is wide and clean, good view, but noise insulation is not very good.

Cheaply construction. Not designed for comfort and convenience.

I would suggest to have holiday + Siam visits together. Back home post tiring day trips, this brings a lot of value. Just 2 USD away by Tuk Tuk for a 5 star experience.

Swimming pool, breakfast (vegetarian, chefs took care of us so fantastic), clean rooms, balcony in each room, large Workout areas and equipments.

The breakfast was amazing. There were so many options. Every little sample I took was great. It was the most extensive buffet I’ve seen at a hotel. Plus omelette station. Soups. Fresh fruit. Strong coffee.

Staying another day or more would have been better. Honestly I loved it so much.

Pool was very nice. Staff was great. Quiet at night.

Shower hot water was not consistent. Lots of mold in the shower. Bidet pressure was too low to be useful. Beds were extremely uncomfortable. No food service outside of breakfast.

Very good hotel, we would definitely stay here again. All the staff was friendly and courteous. The bathroom could use some updates, bathroom lighting was poor and the shower head does not stay in the holder also there's no full length mirror

If Great service and relaxing environment is what you are looking for, this is NOT the place for you!! This was my seconded stay at a Sokha hotel. The first was their location at the beach. It was nice, staff were welcoming, food was good. Here is Siem Reap it’s a whole different story!! Staff where not helpful, their focus was making money, not caring for the customer. Extremely loud, large tour buses would roll in all hours of the night, then people would yell down the halls walk, it would eco into the rooms. The worst night it was loud from 10pm-12, 2am-3:30am, then 5:30am-7:45am. There is no way anyone could get any rest. If you desire to eat breakfast, you will need to ready yourself for war. There is no flow or respect from other customers, pushing and shoving is constant. Not worth it!! We went out for breakfast. Making the cost the hotel even more outrageous. Then when we added on an extra night, they charged us 18% more than the other nights. Location wise it’s not convenate to town. It is difficult to get a tuk tuk, when you find one, they want to charge you double since you are staying at a large hotel. There is at least 100 better hotels in Siem Reap, that will provide better service and value!
