Reviewed Sep 3, 2026It was well located and the staff were helpful. I didn't actually spend much time in the hotel/hostel. The rooms were comfortable but basic. You could get a coffee in the morning
It was off season and it felt like I was the only person staying in the place, so there wasn't really much of a vibe feeling. Nevertheless it's well located and only a short walk to find some fun. It's not a "visitor friendly" hotel.

(ต้องใช้เฉพาะเหรียญสิบเท่านั่น แต่ในร้านมีตู้แลกเหรียญให้อยู่)

La Patronne (je ne parle pas des employés) nous a fait vraiment passer un mauvais moment. La patronne en regardant les CCTV envoie ses employés faires des remarques inutiles. Et nous appellent l'après midi pour nous rappeler des règles que nous n'avons pas enfreint. La patronne est vraiment embêtante.

Also loved that it was walking distance to the beach, the island tour start points AND amazing food joints and bars! loved it. Wish we stayed for longer. LOTS of doggos ++++++ loved it!

La posizione della struttura è perfetta sia per la prima spiaggia o per girare l’isola, sia per arrivare a piedi dal pier, sia per tutti i ristoranti e bar. I letti sono veramente comodi, come già letto in altre recensioni. La pulizia camere viene fatta quando uno vuole a partire dal secondo giorno di pernottamento (eco o full pulizia), buona idea! È possibile prendere in prestito gli asciugamani per la spiaggia ogni giorno e restituirli la sera. Wi-Fi ok. Possibilità di fare colazione a pochi passi, sulla via principale. Noi lo consigliamo!

Pracuję tam recepcjonista który dobrze wie jak swoim zachowaniem pogorszyć Twój pobyt. Jest nie uprzejmy, nie umie odpowiedzieć na „dzień dobry” umie za to zanim jeszcze coś powiesz zacząć zagłuszać Cię mówiąc o zasadach, czego nie można robić. Nieuprzejmy typ, z wredną miną.

Reviewed Jan 29, 2026The place is decent, clean rooms and bathrooms, amenities, good wifi, good location, the admin helps remotely.
the staffs don’t, they close at around 6pm, I tried to call the reception when I had a question and they close the door right in front of me without saying a word, I’ve slept at dirt cheap places and this is a first. Said "thank you" both english and in Thai to the staff and they walked away. With great lack of english comes great negligence. very poor facilities, does not have water boiler on demand and zero power outlets around the place. If you’re planning to have some work done or even feel welcomed here, don’t bother.

Reviewed Jan 27, 2026J’ai enlevé des points au confort car les lits du haut on un plafond plein du coup je ne tenais pas assise dans le lit. Obligée de me contorsionner. En revanche si vous avez un lit du bas, vous n’avez pas ce plafond, juste des barres qui permettent de trouver un positionnement assis. Bonne situation car nous sommes à 5 minutes de la plage, eau chaude dans la douche, bon wifi, calme. Top ! Une serviette de plage est dispo. Serviette de douche est offerte, possibilité de se restaurer sur place ainsi qu’acheter des tickets pour la suite. La jeune fille a l’accueil est top !
À part ce problème pour tenir assis dans le lit qui m’obligeait à être toujours allongé, Dommage que le linge ne puisse pas sécher en dehors de la chambre car beaucoup d’humidité en fin de journée avec tous les vêtements en train de sécher (serviettes de bain, ceux qui ont lavé leur linge.. ) Ça a été écrit par les prédécesseurs mais il est vrai qu’il faudrait un rideau dans la douche car on en met partout.

Reviewed Jan 24, 2026Pros (Ce que j’ai aimé) : Security & Staff: As a solo traveler, safety is my priority. The hosts (a brother and sister) were incredibly kind and reassuring. They explained everything clearly and were always available via WhatsApp. I felt 100% safe. Perfect Location: Only 5-8 minutes walk from the pier (easy even with luggage). It’s in a quiet side street right across from a laundry shop, but steps away from the main street, restaurants, and markets. The Room: I stayed in a very spacious room with an huge, comfortable bed. It was spotless! Eco-friendly & Clean: I loved the "no shoes" policy and the foot rinse at the entrance. They also provide free beach towels daily and mosquito spray. Helpfulness: There was a small issue with my glass door upon arrival, but the staff fixed it immediately.
Cons (Ce que j’ai moins aimé) : Noisy AC: The air conditioning was quite loud, so I sometimes had to turn it off to sleep well. Bathroom: The equipment looks a bit vintage/old, even though it was perfectly clean. TV: The television is not a Smart TV and was a bit difficult to use, so I couldn't really watch anything. Environment: You can hear roosters and dogs early in the morning, so if you are a light sleeper, bring earplugs (but this is just the island's vibe!).

Reviewed Jan 21, 2026Ruhige Lage abseits der Hauptstraße, trotzdem kurze Wege zum Centrum und Hauptstrand. Zimmer sauber und ausreichend groß für zwei Personen mit Doppelbett. Kostenlose Strandhandtücher verfügbar.
Das Zimmer roch beim betreten muffig. Leider keine richtige Privatsphäre da Eingangsbereich mit Glasfenstern ausgestattet und man ständig die Vorhänge zuziehen muss. Der Balkon hatte leider keine Sitzmöglichkeit. Der Sitzbereich auf der Etage wurde von anderen Bewohnern benutzt und führte zu Lärm in der Nacht.

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026Room and bathroom were perfectly clean. Staff were super friendly and welcoming. Great location. Highly recommend hiring a moped (100 baht for an hour or 300 for a day) to explore the island, but there are also plenty of bars/places to eat near Stay Samed too.
Breakfast was limited - there was no tofu and as a vegan there were no other suitable options.

Reviewed Jan 3, 2026Das Zimmer war sehr sauber. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich. Die Unterkunft ist ruhig gelegen und man läuft nicht weit zum Strand und auch nicht weit zur Fähre. Wir haben jeden Tag Cappuccino getrunken, weil der sehr lecker und mit Liebe zubereitet war. Das Bett war sehr bequem. Die Dusche war schön heiß. Das WLAN war das beste, dass wir Thailland bisher hatten.
Das Zimmer war hellhörig und man hat die Klimaanlage des Nachbarn gehört. Ein paar bequemere Stühle wären schön.
