Amritara Aura Resort & Spa

I stayed at Amritara Aura Resort & Spa for 9 nights and 10 days, and overall it was a very relaxed and pleasant experience. The resort is beautifully spread out with lots of natural greenery. I really enjoyed taking leisurely walks around the property, especially in the mornings — it’s large, peaceful, and filled with trees, plants, and fruits growing throughout, which gives the place a calm, nature-focused feel. The ambience is soothing and makes it easy to unwind. The hospitality was consistently good, and the staff was warm and helpful throughout my stay. The wide variety of room options makes the resort flexible and suitable for different needs and lengths of stay. A special mention to Mr. Sanjeev, the General Manager, who was very accommodating when I had to adjust my split stay plans at the last minute. I had originally planned 4 nights at another resort and 5 nights at Amritara, but due to a change in plans, I shifted the entire stay here. He handled everything smoothly and made the transition hassle-free, which I truly appreciated. I would also like to thank Vishav, Deepesh, Akshay, Nevill, and Rupesh for their attentive service and friendly and supportive approach during my stay. The spa experience was nice and relaxing, and a good addition to the overall stay. I also enjoyed interacting with the agriculture head, who kindly showed me around the nursery and plantation areas, which added a thoughtful and personal touch to the experience. A couple of areas where there is room for improvement would be the Wi-Fi connectivity, which can be inconsistent across such a large property, and the food choices, where a bit more variety would enhance the dining experience. These were minor setbacks and did not take away significantly from the overall comfort of the stay. Overall, Amritara Aura Resort & Spa offers a peaceful, nature-filled environment, good hospitality, and a relaxed atmosphere.

I stayed with my family at Amritara Resort and I immediately got a lot of love from the staff. The room service and checking-checkout system is very good and I liked the food here very much, so I would like to thank the special kitchen team and also Mr. Sanjeev Singh Ji, the General Manager, who guided such a big team so well.

A memorable experience overall... small hiccups to some technical difficulties relating to Air conditioner/ swimming pool motors not working, they had to change our rooms on request. The request was addressed and acted upon which is important. Rooms are very spacious and clean ! Prashant and his team Kartik helped us in great way!!

It was a totally relaxing experience to spend our holidays in Goa at Amritara resort. The staff especially the one at dining area is very cooperative. Highly recommended!

This was our transit accomodation in Goa since our train reached early in the morning and so we booked the hotel for 6 hours on makemytrip. Great rooms, all cottage, swimming pool, most importantly it has photogenic colonial style architecture inside. Parking is free. Breakfast is great. Away from hustle and bustle of Goa.

This boutique resort is amazing. A very beautiful garden and we were lucky to receive a one bedroom villa. It was so comfortable that we even enjoyed staying in the room. A special thanks to great staff who were very attentive, starting from reception, gardener's, room cleaners and the amazing staff in the restaurant especially to mention Ankush, Prashant, Ankit and Mahinder. From the moment we arrived, we were delighted by the serene atmosphere, the lush greenery, and the warm hospitality. The rooms are incredibly spacious, neat, and impeccably maintained. The private seat-outs added a peaceful and exclusive touch — perfect for morning coffee or evening chats. The entire resort is full of dense plantation, creating a calm, nature-filled ambiance with very positive vibes. The food deserves a special mention — breakfast and dinner were both extraordinary, with an impressive variety and delicious taste every day. The swimming pool is clean, well-maintained, and surrounded by greenery, adding to the overall relaxing experience. Above all, it was the staff that made our stay truly memorable. Everyone was courteous, welcoming, and went out of their way to make us comfortable. Freshly made and quality food - be it fish ajwaini tikka, tadka daal with desi breads to buffet breakfast spread with eggs of your choice. Kudos to chef Rajesh and Auram restaurant team for looking after us!

Everything about the resort is perfect. Food is good and their service is the best I have seen in a while, special mention to Rahul and Rajesh who take care of us nicely.

We recently spent three nights in a villa with a private pool at this resort, and overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable stay with a few notable highlights and some areas for improvement. The villa itself was beautiful – spacious, clean, and very well maintained. The private pool was definitely a highlight and made our stay feel extra special. Housekeeping was excellent throughout; the room was spotless, and everything was refreshed daily with care. The breakfast team also stood out for their friendliness and efficiency. Each morning felt like a treat, thanks to the attentive staff and a wide selection of food. Unfortunately, our experience with the guest services and reception staff fell short. The atmosphere at the front desk was cold and impersonal, which contrasted sharply with the warmth we experienced elsewhere in the resort. Most disappointing was our room service experience on the last night: we waited over an hour for our order, made four follow-up calls, and were repeatedly told it was “on the way.” The delay and lack of clear communication were frustrating and not what we expected from a resort of this caliber. In summary, the villa, cleanliness, and breakfast staff were excellent, but improvements are needed in guest services and reception to match the rest of the resort’s quality. With a bit more attention to hospitality at the front desk, this could easily be a five-star experience.

I’m currently staying here on my last two nights in Goa. The hotel aesthetically is beautiful, well maintained garden, pool & the room is lovely. I have Half Board included so I’ve had breakfast & dinner here. The breakfast is okay, the portion sizes are strange, rather than having a little of everything they give you big bowls of each instead which is rather wasteful. Dinner was really disappointing, had the Chicken Kadhai & the chicken was really dry & it just over whelming taste of peppercorn. I’ve just had dinner for the 2nd time & I had the Goan fish curry (probably my 4th since being in Goa) & it just tasted of coconut, nothing else. Really not very nice. The half board was a deal with the room I booked, so I’m just glad I didn’t pay for either of these additionally as not cheap. The redeeming factor for this hotel is 100% the Spa (which is a seperate area) the massage was reasonably priced & just amazing!! So even if you’re not staying here, defo come for the Spa alone it’s totally worth it. (Recommend to call ahead & book yourself in) Overall I feel this hotel lacks a lot of character. Even when I asked where the spa was at the main Reception they pointed to where it was rather than directing me clearly. Room menu & spa treatments you have to access via your phone & scanning via the QR code, so if your someone who likes to switch off & not use your phone it might not be best.

The restaurant at the Amritrara Aura Goa has a really good range of food. The breakfast buffet is a variety of Indian and European food. The masala chai is refreshing and the eggs (omelettes) are cooked well. The service is friendly and in particular Prashant, Kautikay, Vishwa, Ganesh, Anshul, Seby are excellent. The dinners in the evening are also great.

Great location, near to beach, good food and overall great experience

Had a lovely restful stay … and the spa is great!

It's a beautiful setting and we had a very relaxing stay. The staff couldn't have been more attentive. We used the hotel as a base for exploring the area. Five minutes taxi ride (or 20 minutes walk) from the beach. Plenty of restaurants and beach bars not too far away.

Staying in room 103 and they are very bad. Look at the photos. The bathroom is not even usable. The balcony has only one chair. They sent beer without opener. Food is exorbitantly expensive. No view from property and it's 1.8 KM from beach. Parking is congested

The place is absolutely stunning, with a serene and peaceful atmosphere that makes for a perfect retreat. The staff are incredibly kind and welcoming. Housekeeping was excellent. Although the beach is 1.7 km away. But I walked at it was ok😀

hotel is okay but certainly not 5 star I discovered when I checked out that I was allocated an executive room instead of a premium which I had paid for. I contacted the hotel but they didn't refund me. my room didn't smell very nice the 'high tea' is instant coffee and a couple of biscuits - not very impressive I think the resort is way overpriced they have a lot of staff standing about doing nothing. I don't understand why the hotel doesn't employ them to improve the place. for example the bikes they have for use are dangerous - flat tyres, no brakes etc- they could be repairing them instead of standing around ! Pool is okay I wouldn't stay again

Lovely hotel, facilities were excellent, lovely rooms and pool, staff were very attentive and couldn’t do enough for us, especially Vishwa, Rajesh, Vikram, Anshul and Prashand. Breakfast was great lots of options, the gardens were amazing and well kept. Would defiantly recommend this hotel.

The staff made this stay wonderful. Honestly so helpful, accomodating and went out of their way to make my stay memorable. The resort was clean, the rooms were spacious and full of character. Breakfast spread was extensive.

The property is very quaint and charming, however, it is not centrally located. The onsite restaurant, while OK, did not provide solid value. The highlight was the excellent staff. The spa was also good.

In a tropical setting Aura is beautifully laid out with secluded cabins in the trees and some rooms overlooking the beautiful pool. We spent 6 nights here in early October celebrating a 40th wedding anniversary and we were so well looked after by Jurgen and team at reception and Derik and Diago and the catering team for our meals. A Welcoming place with great food we started each day with a yoga session with the lovely Eve.

Stayed here for 4 nights, with my wife and 5 year old daughter. It's a nice boutique resort, with well done up rooms and cottages. Peaceful location with lot of greens within the premises. I would highly recommend this place if you wish to explore Ashvem, Morjim and Arambol beaches and the Party scenes by the night at Marbella, Refresh, CEOL, Sinq and Estatic dance sessions at the Big Banyan Tree. Beach is about 5 minute drive from the resort. They have a large pool to soak during sunny mornings and have yoga shaalas for early morning yoga. It's about 1.5 hour drive from the Airport. Very good freshly cooked tasty food (mind slight delay there) at the restaurant.
