We did not enjoy our stay at all , was not as advertised on the internet .

The sheets and pillow cases were filthy , the T.V did not work at all . The shower was tiny and the water only got luke warm not hot at all .. Nothing in the area was open ..had to do alot of driving to get around to any food sources beings that everything in the area was closed .

Location was great

Lacking maintenance on the buildings and the property. The cabin door did not even close and seal properly. I had a giant spider in my room! A large spider nest in the shower, becait was cold and damp when we arrived we had the heater on and it was noisy.

This place is tired, tired, tired! Needs many updates. The fridge beside the bed, come on! How would you expect someone to sleep with the fridge running in your ear all night long. The racket from the 1970 wall heater, again update your equipment. And the 20inch television from 1980 sitting on a dresser??? Maybe have someone wash the bird crap off a window so you can see outside. I could go on, but it's in the past, and I never have to or will go back there.

Le système de chauffage en place est insuffisant (et uniquement dans l'espace central) de même que les couvertures, le frigo gèle la nourriture; nos légumes ont gelé, le savon et shampooing fourni est minuscule.

We liked how close it was to amenities, the pool & play area were great as well as the use of a BBQ.

Upon getting to the property we were told that because we had 5 people we would have to pay an extra fee, they then said that we wouldn’t need to this time but next time book a bigger cottage. We had booked for that exact amount of people on this app, it wasn’t a great first interaction. Really no space on the deck/ yard area to sit outside. No space for bonfires. Pool although “heated” was quite cold.

Other than the fact that it had available space at short notice and was within walking distance of some of the local facilities, the establishment had nothing else going for it.

It was apparently obvious that the establishment was being run with the absolute minimum of investment maintenance but absolute maximum profit generation; everything was old, tatty and in desperate need of renovation. The pool decking was in need of attention as was the pool which was in a poor state of repair. Our bungalow was in serious need of an upgrade; the bathroom window required holding open with a stick and the television dated from the 1980s as but one example. And one of the rooms the bedding was fine to be dirty and Email was sent to the management as the reception was not manned with no reply being received; this includes post visit.

Every thing ! Old old old ! Towels were rags , beds were very old , bedding was old old old ! Tv was extremely small and probably bought in the eighties ! Dont know how the pool ever would pass inspection!

The location

Cabin was clean but needed many many updates. The furniture felt grimy , tv did not work properly, lamp in living room broken and when you try to turn it on it fell apart , dishes needed a better cleaning , paint peeling of walls and trim , grounds were not well maintained. It’s a shame the owner is letting this resort get so run down when previous owner kept it looking so clean and neat .

I liked that the property was super close to all amenities for my boy and his friend to be able to drive their bikes wherever they wanted to go.

The only thing I would change is having a picnic table or any table out by the bbq so we could sit out there to eat. And also a wood fire pit somewhere on the property so we could have bonfires at night.

The pool was nice, playground was great for the kids and the bbq was great to cook meals with!

Pool wasn’t heated, more outdoor chairs or a picnic table would have been nice. No paper towel in kitchen was unfortunate

My kids really like the pool

The cottage wasn’t very clean and bugs somehow kept getting in even with the door shut. The outside of my cottage was unfinished, and there was a whole on the side at the bottom. The Wi-Fi was extremely bad so trying to watch movies and stuff with my kids was not great.

Nous sommes arrivés à 15 h, comme indiqué, après un voyage de 14 heures. On nous avait pourtant confirmé que les clés seraient remises à 15 h, mais nous avons finalement dû attendre jusqu’à 17 h, soit deux heures d’attente avant de pouvoir accéder à notre bungalow. Et quelle déception en entrant : tout était sale et mal organisé. Même les poubelles n’avaient pas de sacs. Après un aussi long voyage, ce n’est vraiment pas l’accueil auquel nous nous attendions. Une expérience très décevante que nous n’oublierons pas… et l’année prochaine, nous choisirons probablement un autre endroit.:::

It is a nice and quiet place where kids can meet new friends. All the Cavendish places around are very close. It is a nice place to stay and travel around PEI. I would love to come again.

The room had one double bed and one sofa. We found that the sofa was not very comfortable for two kids, ages 9 and 11. Next time, we will book a room with 2 double beds.

The Green Gables Bungalow Court is ideally situated. The property is definitely old, but clear efforts have been made to keep it tidy, functional, and comfortable. The pool was a great bonus. Yes, the shower was smaller than what I’m used to, but it’s a cottage! Great for families or anyone who wants an affordable cottage experience. Saw a few groups who rented multiple cabins.

The location was good. Staff were friendly. Pool was nice and warm and the property was cozy.

Toilet felt like it moved when you sat on it. Floors were tilted. Furniture was old and kitchen was very tiny. Needs updating and modernizing.

The pull out couch was horrible. So very uncomfortable!! No staff after 8 pm and so many random people around. Cabs just parked in the entrance … Got there at 6pm check in was at 3pm they said “ not sure if it’s ready yet?” Pardon me ? I’m 3 hours late how can it not be ready !

Location was ideal. Right in the middle of the action in Cavendish. The individual cabins were well spaced, and situated around the pool and playground area. There are large trees on the property and a green belt between the property and the adjacent parking lot. Kitchen is adequately stocked, and fresh towels are replaced each day. The pool is bright and clean. There was a window air conditioning unit in the cabin.

The bedding is horrible. Sheets are cheap, rough and piled. Lighting is inadequate, and the cabin is very dark. There is no fan in the bathroom (or anywhere else) There is a lot of peeling paint, and holes in fly screens. The pool liner is ripped in places and needs to be replaced. The wifi rarely worked, and when it did, it was incredibly slow. We were forced to hotspot from our phones.

Cabins were run down inside and out. There was A pile of construction debris next to our cottage.

The location was great. We had a picnic table in front of our cottage and used this and the BBQ nightly. The kitchen has all the cooking equipment needed. The playground area was great for our kids! They allowed us a late check-out which was really nice.

The place is rundown and was a bit dirty. The shower is super tiny and the curtains are sheer so anyone outside could see right in. The pool water was really cloudy.

The cottage floor was not level so felt like we were rolling out of the bed. Door of one of the bedrooms would not close and it kept popping open . The door handle of this bedroom was broken. Then bed linens worn and shabby. Something wrong with the fridge as it kept pooling water on the inside. Broken plastic popcorn box for the cooking utensil holder. Cracked teapot. Dirty kitchen especially the drawer under the oven where the slightly rusted cast iron pan and greasy oven trays were stored. If the place was a cheep stay then I’d say okay, you get what you pay for. But even for high season in Cavendish the price was crazy especially for the state of the cottage. We were in the 2. bedroom cottage number 33. Brought this to the attention of the reception and they said they couldn’t do anything. That we should send a message via booking to the property and his manager would respond. I did that but did not get a response.

A aimé · l’établissement (chalet) a besoin d’un peu beaucoup d’amour . le perron le bois est pourrit . certaine fenêtre et même beaucoup devrait être changer c’est pourrit. le sofa lit impossible de dormir dedans le matelas est vraiment plus bon. la porte d’entrée a besoin d’être changer pas au niveau du tout et pas mal magané.

Location is great. cottage inside was clean and comfortable. liked the fully stocked kitchen. easy to book online.

we had an issue with ants had to buy our own insect spray to get rid of them. TV needs an upgrade. Always seemed to be litter floating around the site. Pool liner falling down, concrete on pool deck crumbling. Driveway needs patching to fix potholes. Been staying here for a number of years this was the first time we noticed a bit of a downgrade.

The fact there was no hot water. The floors were so dirty that our socks turned black. Ripped screens on the window. Among arriving the cottage was 100 degrees in a heat wave. The ac wasn’t even on. The grass around. The property wasn’t mowed. The pool was dirty and the liner was falling off. The pool had no chlorine in it.

The location was great, these facilities are dated and need some upgrades, exterior forsure, inside bathrooms are very small, and you can't get a shower without lots of water on the floor. Steps leading to the cabin need to be upgraded. In regards to cleaning, the chesterfield had lots of crumbs,nuts from previous guests, and a sock was missed underneath the bed. The staff were great, the pool was very cloudy but warm. The laundry matt steps are dangerous and need to be upgraded. The kids had fun in the playground with other kids. The location was really great. I think that this would be a great facility if tender loving care and money were invested.

The bungalows are looking very tired. The curtains in the bedroom.were see through and there was things like paintrrs tape still around the base of our veranda but hadn't been recently painted.

Very disappointing, cottages are in dire need of repair and upgrades. Sinks and toilets do not drain properly, had to use plunger many times. Price point is outrageously high for facilities offered. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Family friendly area with pool. Comfortable beds and reasonably stocked kitchen.

The air conditioner was really noisy. Very saggy and stained couch and chair in living room should be changed now.

Great layout. It was nice to have a kitchen with a big fridge. The BBQ was a must too. The bed in the bedroom was comfortable. Great location of the cabins, near everything in Cavendish.

The cabins are very dated. There are needs for a deep clean (spider web in the light of the bedroom, dead bug when you open the window in the living room). The pull out couch wasn't comfortable at all, the kids could sense all the spring and bars. Altough the bathroom was clean, it seems like there was trace of previous mold, paint on top. You just don't know if it was taking care of or try to cover. The towels could have been more soft or knew. The railing outside had been painted, there was still painting tape around. The pool was a great size but the tarp is detaching from the sides. It would be such a great place if there was major renovations done to the place.

Property and cabin was just ok, did not swim in the pool. Children enjoyed the playground and seeing rabbits run around the property. Nice to have a bbq to use.

The property asked us to state our arrival time on booking.com (We stated we would be arriving at 4:00pm, and we did). They state check in is anytime after 3:30. Upon arrival we were told our cabin wasn’t ready and would be 30-40 minutes because it wasn’t yet cleaned. We took a drive around and came back, it wasn’t ready for 1 1/2 hours. We had bought food at the store to cook for supper which we had to leave sitting in the car and had 2 kids in the car who were upset. If we had of known beforehand maybe it wouldn’t have been such a big deal and could have adjusted our plans. We asked to have a refund so we could go stay somewhere else but this was refused. They said they are not obligated to have cabins ready by check in time as it states check in up until 8:00 on website. Don’t understand this policy. Would not visit this place again due to this issue. I would recommend calling this morning of your stay to state your arrival time and ensure cabin will be ready! Cabin was very dated but does have everything you’d need for your stay. Toilet in the bathroom moved around when you sat down on it and shower is small. Grass around the property seemed like it hadn’t been mowed in a while. Staff seemed to be always working and doing the best they could despite all the issues.

Location was great we were able to walk to get to alot activities and supplies. The cottage was good clean and had all necessities for a stay

The shower stall was small and with little room to wash up They had called us to see when we were to arrive which was nice we told them around 3:30pm like it says to check in on the website, they had said that was fine. Although when we arrived at 3: 30 we still had to wait 2hrs for them to clean and prepare the cottage before we could settle in for our vacation, kinda upsetting!

We stayed two nights. The fact that we had a little kitchenette, a fridge and a BBQ was very nice. The bed in the bedroom was comfortable and we slept well. The pull-out couch was not comfortable at all, the kids could feel everything. The shower was very small, i don't think everyone can fit. Plenty of hot water and nice pressure. The place was clean althougt it seems that a spring cleaning should be done, there was spider webs in the lights of the bedroom and when we opened the living room window the was dead flies. The pool was spacious although there some places its peeling away. It needs some repair, but it is a great place near a lot of amenities.

We loved the individual cabin. The weather was cold so extra blankets would have helped. Proximity to all parts of the island was great.

L'emplacement est idéal, à quelques minutes des glissades d'eau et de plusieurs restaurants. Il y a une piscine propre, soi-disant chauffée (l'eau était à environ 72 degrés F). Il y a un petit parc pour enfants.

Nous sommes arrivés à 15h55. Le check-in s'effectue à partir de 15h30 et nous avions averti l'hôte à travers booking de notre heure d'arrivée (entre 15h et 16h). À notre arrivée, on nous dit que le chalet est prêt, mais que le gérant doit faire une vérification qui prendra 30 à 40 minutes d'attente. Sur le site, nous voyons plutôt des équipes de ménage qui s'affairent à terminer leur travail, allant d'un chalet à l'autre dans des petites voiturettes de golf. Heureusement qu'il y avait un petit parc, car nous avons deux jeunes enfants (moins de 5 ans) et ça aurait pu être un moment encore plus désagréable. Dans le parc, plusieurs éclisses de bois sont éparpillées (des animaux ou des enfants ont détruit des souches à proximité) et c'est assez dangereux. Nous devons les éloigner de l'aire de jeux pour éviter les accidents. À l'arrivée, le chalet est propre. Mais le plancher de notre chalet (#13) est tellement croche dans la cuisine, que ça donne la nausée. Tout un défi pour notre plus jeune enfant, qui n'a pas encore 2 ans. De plus, il manque des ustensiles (il y a seulement deux petites fourchettes); à l'accueil, on nous en donne et on nous conseille de les laver (plutôt que de nous en offrir des propres). C'est notre deuxième séjour dans cet endroit, et possiblement le dernier en raison du rapport qualité/prix. Ce site a beaucoup de potentiel et pourrait avoir du charme, mais il a besoin de beaucoup d'amour... qu'il ne reçoit malheureusement pas en ce moment de la part des propriétaires, à mon avis.

Cold for sleeping. Extra blankets should have been available in the cabin. Bathroom sink drain very slow to drain but we did not report that at the time.

Gute Lage, fußläufig zum Strand. Häuschen stehen nicht zu eng beieinander, es gibt ein Waschhaus mit drei Waschmaschinen und Trocknern für jeweils 1,50 Doller. Gasgrill vorhanden und grundsätzlich auch ein Pool.

Heizung sehr laut, ohne eiskalt! Ich konnte auf Nachfragen noch eine weitere Decke bekommen. Wir konnten erst ab 17 Uhr statt 15 Uhr einchecken, im Office gibt es Bücher und spiele zu leihen, allerdings war während unseres Aufenthaltes nie jemand dort und die Tür verschlossen. Zusammengewürfeltes Besteck und Mobiliar, letztlich ist alles vorhanden und für den Preis hinnehmbar. Schlafsofa ist unbequem und quietscht bei jeder Bewegung.

J’ai apprécié la qualité d'accueil et des services du propriétaire. J’ai apprécié le chauffage en marche dans notre chalet à notre arrivée. Les accessoires dans la cuisinette tels que chaudrons, ustensiles et vaisselle sont de bonne qualité. Bon rapport qualité prix!

Location was great if you are an Anne of Green Gables fan or are into golf

WiFi connection in my cabin was weak. I think I was in one of the farthest cabins from the office. I let the staff know and they said they would work on it. TV was old in our cabin and very small. That mattered only a little because I didn’t come there to watch TV, but we had a rainy day and watched it that day.

Old School…50 s style

Close to everything in Cavendish. Good walking trails and beautiful beaches. On site laundry that was reasonably priced. The cottage price was good for that time of the year. Both Charlottetown and Summerside where just over 30 min drive from Cavendish.

The small cottage was very quaint and cozy, although in early June its rather cold so close to the water. The front porch was so nice to sit and relax on, and the kitchen is just perfect!

The shower was super tiny, so not very accessible to everyone. The only way to heat the place was a wall heater that comes on intermittently, but it wasn’t enough to heat the place at all. The blankets were also like thin camping blankets and there were no extras provided in the bungalow.

The location was great! We loved the older cottages; the were clean, cozy, and exceptional value! :)

The only thing I didn’t like was how thin my pillow was, but I improvised :)

The staff at check in was lovely. Friendly, helpful. We were having an issue with the TV staff came right away to help. Also the fridge wasn't staying cold staff was able to fix issue quickly. Very central to all Cavendish's activities. Kid friendly, pet friendly (seen a few dogs), very quiet spot.wifi worked great, lots of parking, AC unit worked and fans were provided.

Slanted floors, very dated rooms decor, bedding, beds, dishes. The bathroom was tiny shower was not big people friendly (husband is over 6 foot tall and said he felt like he was in a coffin) when in the shower, pool liner was coming out/off, play ground in need of repair, garbage left around play ground for multiple days (I ended up picking it up so our children could ay safely) poor maintain on grounds (grass long, big pot holes, trash) we stayed in cabin 6, the BBQ is on the backside of the cabin, paint chipping off in most of the rooms (alot of wood)

Location is excellent. The cabin is simple but well kitted out and very clean. Staff are very repsonsive.

The cabin was extremely cold, especially at night, and the fan heater didn't really make any difference. This might not be an issue if the weather is very warm though. The fridge is also placed next to the bed and is quite noisy.

Great stay, nice and clean

It was a very quaint cottage but in need of updates. The sofabed was awful!! It was September and the heater in the cottage did not heat the bathroom or the bedroom and was just inches from the sofabed so it was very warm there. Very convenient place to stay but not that comfortable. Lots of the cottages had been painted but not ours.

Although this property is an older one, the cabin was very satisfactory. Clean and quaint.

The unit itself was perfect….. inside! Very quaint but clean and well appointed. Outside needs some attention, we were however there on the closing weekend. Maybe they’ll paint and clean up the outsides before opening in the spring! I hope so, if they do the package would be complete!

I would say that these accommodations were within my price range and should satisfy the needs of most travelers who are accustomed to a medium to modest lifestyle . Good value for your money !

The outside of the buildings needs some refreshing but once inside everything is clean and well kept. The guy doing reception did a great job getting us settled in after a long day on the road.

These bungalows looked pretty run down on the outside,but the interiors, while dated, have been kept in good repair. The small kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals and we were grateful for the outdoor grill

Lovely little cabins. Old fashioned and epitomize the feel of Green Gables. Enjoyed this stay immensely. Relaxing and a nostalgic throwback to simpler times. Would stay again!

We liked everything. Beds were super clean; nice crisp sheets. Good garbage containers are a good size, clean & suitable size bags! It makes a difference. Our location was away from the traffic! Bonus. Beautiful new BBQ! Very accommodating staff.

The swim pool had few twigs & the odd leaf in it. But the water was clean.

This property has been a popular place to stay in Cavendish for a very long time. The cottages are old but very well kept.We stayed in the 6 person cottage with 2 bedrooms and pull out sofa. It looked exactly like the pictures on their website, so no surprises there. It had an atmosphere of a cozy log cabin. They had enough kitchen utilities (cutlery, dishes etc.) to support our needs and everything was very clean. I read some not so great reviews after I had booked our stay, but we did not experience any of those things. We were very happy with the cottage we were in and would have liked to have stayed longer but it was just a weekend trip. We would definitely stay here again when we go back to the island. Staff was very friendly as well. Thank you "Green Gables Bungalow Court" for a great weekend!

We loved the location. The kitchen was decent and easy to cook in. We liked the property.

The bed/bedroom was so small. The fact that a person had to climb over the other to go the washroom was frustrating. The bed was very uncomfortable. TV was old, small and we couldn’t get it to work. This should be disclosed in the advertising
