stayed at Potosi Residence during a trip to Mauritius for my son’s open water swimming competition, and it turned out to be one of the best parts of the trip. The residence itself was clean, comfortable, and well located, but what truly made our stay memorable was the hospitality of the manager, Farhaan. From the moment we arrived, Farhaan went out of his way to make us feel welcome. He was attentive without being intrusive, quick to respond to every request, and genuinely invested in making sure we had everything we needed. With a tight competition schedule and early mornings, his flexibility and willingness to help with local recommendations, logistics, and small details made a real difference for us. It’s rare to find someone who combines professionalism with such warmth and sincerity. Farhaan treated us like guests in his own home rather than customers, and that kind of care doesn’t go unnoticed. We left feeling looked after and would happily return. Thank you, Farhaan, for the excellent support and hospitality. Highly recommended.

Рядом с морем, много магазинов и кафе рядом. Очень комфортная кровать. Есть парковка.

При заселении пол был грязным, пришлось помыть самим. На балконе пол не мыли ни разу за время нашего пребывания (6 дней). Есть кухня, но нет средств для мытья посуды. Посуду моет персонал, но это не всегда удобно, иногда нужно что-то помыть, чтобы еще раз использовать.

Not very clean floor and towels , but price for night you can almost close eyes and take your towels not so close to your body 😅

Byliśmy 2 noce, w pierwszym dniu nie było wody w całym hotelu. Potem uruchomili toalety, ale o prysznicu można było zapomnieć. Było to szczególnie słabe, bo byliśmy po 24 h w podróży i marzyliśmy o prysznicu.

Läget, bullrigt. Dålig wifi. Dåligt städat. Dåligt vattentryck i köket. Smutsiga husgeråd. Ej personal i receptionen. Gick ej få kontakt med personal. Luktade mögel i lokaler.

Huoneen parisänky oli todella hyvä ja ilmastointi ei puhaltanut suoraan siihen joten oli todella hyvä nukkua. Asunto oli aivan tien vieressä mutta kadun äänet eivät haitanneet nukkumista ollenkaan. Asunnossa oli iso suihkukaappi ja veden paine ja sen säätö oli todella hyvä, aivan kuin olisi Suomalaisella Oraksella suihkutellut. Kylpyhuoneen lavuaarin ympärillä runsaasti laskutilaa joka usein tällaisissa asunnoissa on puutteena.

Jalkapohjat oli koko ajan mustana vaikka siivooja kävi päivittäin. Saippuavedellä tuoksuttaminen ainoastaan tasoittaa likaa ja tekee lattian liukkaaksi. Huoneissa, porraskäytävissä ja talon ympärillä oli laatoitus joka vaarallisen liukas märkänä. Talossa oli oma uima-allas jonka vesi seisoi eikä siinä tainnut olla puhdistusta ollenkaan. Altaalla ei myöskään ollut suihkua joten jo senkin takia tehokas veden puhdistus/kierrätys olisi tarpeellinen. Huoneen oven lukko ja ilmastointi hajosi mutta niiden korjaus tapahtui tosi nopeasti kun Super Mario saapui paikalle. Keittiön laseja oli todella vähän ja leipä/hedelmä veitsiä ei lainkaan?!

Dejlig velfungerende lejlighed, med en god seng. Tæt på strand, spisesteder og butikker. Lidt trafikstøj men roligt om natten. Personalet meget venlige, imødekommende og hjælpsomme.

The rooms are fully equipped, with AC and Wifi facilities, and a quiet place. The staff is very helpful and goes out of their way to greet you. You have all the facilities nearby, which is really easy.

Super lokalizacja, bardzo blisko plaży, supermarketu oraz różnych punktów gastronomicznych. Przemiła obsługa, basen z bardzo wygodnymi leżakami. Bezpłatny parking. Czysty i przestronny apartament. Można korzystać z infrastruktury hotelu La Palmiste Resort & Spa, również po wymeldowaniu w dniu wylotu (w recepcji hotelu możliwość skorzystania z toalety i prysznica przed podróżą)

Bardzo słabe Wi-Fi.

Расположение в шаговой доступности от самого лучшего пляжа на северной части острова (Тру-о-биш). Хороший, чистый, просторный номер

Very central with lots of lovely restaurants, shops and the beach within walking distance. Room was very clean and comfortable.

What was not evident on the site when we booked is that the hotel is sister to the Palmiste, just around the corner. But this means the Potosi has hardly any staff on location and you have to walk to Palmiste for facilities such as breakfast or use of the pool. The concierge at check-in could did not explain any of this to us. There is seldom someone at reception if you want to ask something.

Pěkné ubytování s bazénem cca 200 m od pláže. Přímo ve stejné budově čínská restaurace za dobré ceny. Asi 400 m je supermarket se vším potřebným. Parkování na uzavřeném parkovišti.

WIFI na pokoji č.10 nedostupná. Ani čárka. V kuchyni neteče tepla voda, chybí cokoliv na mytí nádobí (houba, hadr, utěrka). Některé nádobí nefunguje na indukční varné desce.

Bien. Bon lit. Volets permettant obscurité le matin. Terrasse. Salle de bains ok. Cuisine équipée. Personnel de garde très gentil. Banque supérette et 3 restaus sur le site. Plage à 5 minutes à pied.

Équipements de cuisine un peu basiques et pas toujours en bon état. Piscine ne fonctionnait pas, il faut aller à l hôtel Palmiste! Reception n est pas toujours présente sur place.

Pour les courts séjours, peut-être prévoir un kit pour faire la vaisselle

Locatie dikke 10, goede restaurants om de hoek en zeer goededuikschool beneden. Straatkant erg lawaaierig en veel roet op het balkon.

Keuken te weinig faciliteiten qua bestek of defecten. Voor ontbijt net te doen.

Location Cleaning lady was the Best ambassador of all the staff. Her name was Shara

Wi-Fi poor Hot water sometimes Kitchen not satisfactory, no plug in sink, no can opener, no wash or drying cloths.. small things that irritate. Given a totally different room to one booked, but eventually sorted the next day. Safe did not work and was not attended to either.

All the 7 points of the note are for the gatekeeper. He was very kind and respectful. Loves the guy, give him a raise.

For the owner; i would give 1. Had no wifi for 4 of the 7 days and he didnt care to solve the issue untill we insisted like 10 times. Asked if he can rent us a car under 30€/ day - all the jokes and the good attitude transformed in mean attitude. (we did rented for 18€ day from a company close to the hotel) Asked the receptionist to order us a taxi through DodoApp: said she cant do that because they have no partnership with them (??)

Good value for money and location great about 2 minutes walk from Trou Aux Biches public beach. Very Clean and functional. You need to provide your own dishwashing liquid, kitchen towels and even own toilet paper once the 2 we were supply with were finished. Not really a hassle considering the good value. WiFi very slow.

The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The room was beautifully presented, creating a wonderfully romantic atmosphere with its cozy lighting and elegant decor. Every detail added to the charm, making it a truly unforgettable experience.

We had very limited kitchen equipment, which made it quite challenging to prepare dinner. I hope that during our stay from March 1st to 4th, we’ll have a room with a well-equipped kitchen for a more comfortable experience.

There was street noise. Property was nicely kept, very clean

Great location, kind of new style but there was a lot of things missing from the kichenette. For example, there was an induction hob and only one pan (nothing else) that is not even compatible with the hob...(not suitable for induction hobs) We had to buy a few things to be able to at least wash the plates or cutleries. There were some bugs here and there from time to time. Apart from this it was OK. Average apartment. The pool was nice and clean though.

Lift wasn’t working for 3 days of our stay. The bathroom sink was not cleaned as is was mouldy. Reasonable location as you can walk to the beach.

Le seul centre d intérêt de potosi a été la situation géographique puisque juste devant la plage Nous ne reviendrons pas à potosi: hygiène déplorable, des draps aux mesures non adaptées, un mini frigo pour ranger deux bouteilles et 6 canettes avec impossibilité de provisionner sur plusieurs jours, l entretien déplorable ( nous avons hésité à acheter un balai) nous avons dû acheter un nécessaire pour l entretien des sanitaires, des poignées de porte qui vous restent dans la main, une climatisation qui fuit et inonde le matelas et l oreiller d’une petite chambre ( jamais le matelas n a été sorti de la chambre et nous avons du le mettre sur le flanc), pas d internet ni wifi malgré nos incessantes demandes auprès de l accueil lorsque l hôtesse était présente, mais qui n a Jamais pris en considération nos attentes Seul un monsieur «  homme à tout faire » a tenté de nous trouver comme il pouvait des solutions avec le peu de moyens qu il avait et s est désolé pour nous de ce que nous traversions . Dommage. Cordialement

Vaisselle quasiment inexistante, donc difficile de se préparer à manger ou juste un apéro car il n'y avait même pas deux verres identiques, et pour petit déjeuner un bol et une tasse. Piscine qui est surtout un abreuvoir pour les pigeons. Le lit est confortable et l'emplacement de l'hôtel est idéal. Mais on sent que ce n'est pas entretenu. Et la vue sur l'océan n'existe que pour les appartements en haut étage. Au premier pas de vue. C'est dommage.

Very modern beautiful apartment, own kitchen facilities, big shower and balcony. Felt very safe,had own security guard on site. Beach is 1 minute away and supermarket is very close proximity too. You can book tours with nearby agencies and pick up us already included in the price, better than online deals.

The main road can get noisy once in a while, I had earplugs, so wasn’t an issue

They dont clean the room during the stay or even change towels (only when asking explicitly they bring it 6-7 hours later). The appartment says there is a fully equipped kitchen, but there was no pan at all and also no dish towel, soap or sponge The water kettle plug didnt go in the wall, they had to call the electrician to change the plug first (seriously?!). I asked for a quiet room. They said I have the quiet room. Well, the room was right above the restaurant and at the noisy main road where the bus stops and starts. The pictures let you think you have a view on the ocean, however you only see literally a square meter size of the ocean. The floor is so dirty, when walking once through the room with white socks, they turn black. There is no shampoo, only a soap for hand washing. The only things that worked well was the AC, the hot shower and the wifi. And the location was good.

Friendly staff, good service and clean rooms. The hotel location is great - close to the beach (where water excursions can easily be booked), close to food eateries and close to a big supermarket. We really enjoyed our time in Mauritius and are grateful for the people at Residence Potosi 😊

The host waited until 2 days before we were due to arrive to issue us a 24-hour notice to transfer the payment via a payment service I had never heard of before. This was disconcerting, and I did not appreciate being given just 24 hours notice to do this. They could've given us this request long before, as we booked several weeks in advance. It caused stress and I would not want to book again with Potosi because of this. Otherwise, the apartment itself was nice (though a bit strange to not have two separate bedrooms - the single bedroom was accessed via a door from the main bedroom).

Very convenient location and staff were very friendly.

The location was fine. It was near the beach, the room was large and it was close to the bus transport which allowed easy movement within troux beaches and the nearby places. The receptionist was kind and even alerted us that we had over paid for the stay by 80 Euros and offered a refund right there.

Cleanness was a challenge. The cleaner came in to sort the sheets on the bed but did not bother to wash the dishes which were at the sink, did not remove garbage which was in the kitchen bin, did not remove the garbage in the toilet bin. So we had to stay with our garbage for our entire stay. The toilet knob for automatic flashing was broken so we had to remove the cover each time to flash. The bathroom has no soap holder so when you are showering you have to hold your soap or keep it on the floor as you are rinsing yourself. Our room was right next to the road so it could get noisy till midnight.

Immeuble récent très mauvaises finitions, peu de vaisselle et couverts pas de casseroles absence de première nécessité de toilette et vaisselle pas de torchon pas de balai. Très mauvaise connexion wifi et télévision uniquement chaînes mauricienne. Le positif très bon emplacement et appartement spacieux avec grand balcon.

Sehr guter Service und extrem freundliches Personal. Der Gesamtzustand ist leider bescheiden, die Bäder sind nicht gepflegt und es schimmelt in der Dusche. Die Räume sind angenehm groß und die Lage zentral.

Belle résidence avec de beaux appartements proche de la plage et de toute commodités, personnels au top, manque ustensiles de cuisine et chambres mal isolés surtout la porte d'entrée a la chambre, a part vraiment très bien.

Excellent accueil personnalisé par Azaguen ! Grande chambre, tout est neuf et belle piscine. À recommander !
