Adayo Cove Resort

L'affaccio sul mare, la piscina, il giardino

Zimmer Service war auf 5 Nächte nur einmal anwesend und hat das Bad nicht geputzt, sondern nur die Betten. Das Frühstück war sehr schlecht

Gorgeous garden with beautiful plants and trees with a large outdoor area right next to picturesque views of the ocean. Staff allowed us to move into a much nicer villa when we didn't like our initial room. Nice pool.

Breakfast was awful. 2 staff members took virtually an hour to make the food. Coffee was served fairly promptly, When food finally arrived (coffee almost drunk by this point) toast was stone cold as was the bacon ... also no butter. Sent it back, When it reappeared , toast and bacon ( charred to smithereens by this stage) were slightly warmer and more palatable. We never bothered eating here again.

good acomodation with swimming pool could be better if there is access to the beach for swimming

could better if closer to the main road better access to shop cafes

Man hat hier seine Ruhe, wenn nicht gerade einheimische Großfamilien zu Gast sind. Schöner recht grosser Pool in schöner Gartenanlage.

the pool

the way going there is very confursing and very scary bexause of poor lightings

This is a quiet older establishment that has been renovated in some areas ie retiled floors in bathroom and other areas, new air cons. Pool was nice and well maintained. Breakfast was good. The staff were outstanding. Thanks Wen, Bing and Jomar for your service and happy smiles.

The room curtains need replacing to blockouts. Door locks and keys need replacing as they break. Hot water system can be hit and miss. Shower doors need maintenance and leaks water under the shower which can flood the floor.

We had a great time on Siquijor and loved our villa at Adayo Cove resort! We stayed for 10 days and it felt like coming home every day. The villa is comfortable and you can see the sunset every day from the terrace. Staff is really friendly and we loved the dogs Whitey, Tiger and Coco. Our ferry was canceled and the next day was also unsure, but the staff really helped us to still catch the ferry in the afternoon.

It was peaceful and very beautiful place

Everyone was acomadating!!

We had an amazing stay at Adayo Cove Resort in Siquijor! Our group of friends had the entire resort to ourselves, which made the experience feel like a private paradise. The peaceful atmosphere, clean and spacious rooms, and beautiful garden surroundings were perfect for a relaxing getaway. The staff were incredibly warm and accommodating, always making sure we were comfortable. One of the unexpected highlights? The adorable chonky doggies roaming around the resort super friendly and always ready for cuddles! It truly felt like home, and we can’t wait to come back.

As a group of friends, we enjoyed the peaceful vibe of Adayo Cove Resort, but there were a few downsides. The location was a bit isolated, so getting around without private transport was tricky, and the limited food options meant we had to plan meals in advance. The rocky beachfront.

Far from city center

The experience of staying here was great. Resort is really nice, rooms were clean and were equiped with enough things that you need for your stay. Staff were really kind, explained everything including the rules and were also very helpful with the instructions when we neeeded. There isn't a big variety of food to choose, but still I consider it was enough choices, and all the food is prepared fresh when you order it, so do it in advance. Also portions are enough and all the food that is prepared is really tasty. Internet is great too. As for the location it's not in the city center and you will need to take care for transportation, but we didn't mind, actually it was an advantage for us so we can have peace. Conclusion: great to come and relax far from every-day noise.

It's a very very very nice accommodation!

nothing

Clean, staff are so nice🙂

Facilities were nice and accommodating staff.

location.

We dropped off our luggage upon arrival before commencing our tour, and the staff securely stored our bags in the office. Upon our return, check-in was smooth and efficient as the booking had already been prepaid. We were simply asked to review the terms and conditions and sign the accommodation contract. We stayed in a spacious family room, which comfortably accommodated four adults. The room was located on the second floor and featured a balcony equipped with a table and chairs/bench. The balcony offered a partial sea view, though it may be slightly obstructed by tree branches. The food served was of excellent quality and generous in portion—sufficient for two persons to share, although one hungry individual could easily finish a serving. The property is beachfront, allowing for swimming during high tide. There is also a swimming pool on-site, although we did not have the opportunity to use it. At present, the establishment accepts payments in cash or via GCash. The staff and owners were exceptionally attentive and helpful throughout our stay. My relatives and my mother thoroughly enjoyed their experience here.

The location may be slightly out of the way, but this did not pose a significant issue for us, as tuk-tuks were readily available most of the time. However, availability during late-night hours is uncertain. While I observed that the pool is cleaned regularly, the water appeared somewhat cloudy or dull in color during our stay.

The garden setting and pool.

It was advertised as beachfront. I chose Adayo because of the beach. What a disappointment :-(

very nice staff, well kept property.

wish it had beach access and stronger wifi.

Staff very good Breakfast good Pool good

Beach is not swimmable Lots of outside things need some tlc Seems kind of overpriced.

Secluded, off the beaten track. Nice and quiet. It’s for the family or people who just want quiet and nothing else.staff are accommodating and helpful. Food was decent and it was peaceful

The breakfast was ok, not fabulous. With not much to do there so you need transport. There is no liveliness. It beach front but you can’t really walk on those rocks. Tv doesn’t work all the time and you can’t stream off your device.

- Location and garden area was nice. - Possibility to rent the scooter directly from the resort

- Lacked cleaning and maintenance - Staff lacked initiative during the check in process

The resort was very spacious and private. It's a beachfront property with a pretty view of the sunset. The staff were very helpful in assisting us with booking tours and transportation. My only complaint is that the bathroom door in our room doesn't close completely and needs repair. Overall, it's very good for the price. Ps. There are friendly fat dogs in the resort 😆

Even though it’s far from the highway, once you get there it’s pretty sweet. My only concerns were the list of rules presented to me upon arrival. It was an unpleasant surprise to read I was not allowed to bring in outside food. Especially since the menu they offer is quite limited. The rules. Also state you are not allowed to stream or do big downloads. OK I thought they offer a TV. However of the four days I was there. The cable provided weak or no service. I enjoyed the garden and the pool, and would like to suggest the pool have longer hours.

rooms and CR

beach

They actually have the best Wi-Fi in town. Our team had a Zoom meeting with five people at once, and we had no problems. Also, if you like a very peaceful place with less people, this is the place to be.

Nothing really. Everything is perfect. It would have been nice if there were wifi's near the beach, but that's okay if it's not possible.

Everything was very clean. The staff were very helpful, especially organising transport to nearby beaches and food options. Getting back was ok too, there are a lot of trikes and tuktuks around that you can hail to give you a ride. Expect to pay about 300 pesos for a one-way trip to restaurants or nearby beaches. The pool was great. It was quiet and nice to be away from the busyness and crowds. Aircon was good. The food was ok, we would have eaten here more if it was a bit better. We highly recommend Tubod if you are into snorkling (about 15 mins away)

It's not the prettiest spot, but the resort works hard to make up for it.

Great place to stay. would definitely book here again if I ever return. Would recommend.

Liked it all

It is recommended to have either a car or scooter to drive there. There is no sandy beach, but a good place to snorkel, and when the tide is low, search for shells and musssels. The place has a jungle-like garden that provides shade and is wonderfully quiet and peaceful, which we especially appreciated.

Loved the pool, room and nature!

We were far from town. Had no refrigerator and had to eat at the restaurant. Needed to have a small table and light by the bed.

The property is very beautiful and relaxing. The staff are nicest people. I highly recommend this resort.

I really can't think of anything bad about the place.

staff was excellent. helped me out with car rental, directions etc..... pool was nice. Lots of plants, flowers and trees around the property Heard some horror stories about people using the karaoke. Good thing no one was using it while I was there Room was clean and had a ref. Beds were comfy but no blankets. Just a bed sheet. toilet had a bidet Price of the room at PHP2000 was great

The shower area is not so good. There is no partiton/elevation in the shower area and only a shower curtain. The whole bathroom would be completely wet if you take a shower and only 1 slow moving drain. The temp. of the heater would change drastically, from super cold to boiling hot.

The staff were super friendly

NOTHING

Its a quiet/peaceful place. The staffs are very helpful and will assist in all your needs. They helped us with pick up and drop off and help us arrange a coastal tour with a van and a driver. The food was great as well. As the place is a bit secluded- it will be easier to navigate thru the area with motorcycles especially if you want to grab food/drinks from outside.

Breakfast was freshly prepared and was tasty. The place is very peaceful and relaxing. Waking up in the morning and the smell of fresh sea breeze was amazing.

The company that we rented the car through Adayo Cove was unreliable, he made us wait until 2:15 to pick up the car and it was so stressful because we need to board the ferry at 2:30 pm. We were at the port parking area as instructed at 1:00 pm and they also never replied to my call. My son informed them and they kept saying they are on their way but was already past 2 pm they still haven’t showed up. Such unreliable company / operator for car rental.

The resort was in a quiet bay away from the road and town.

I wish there was a better spot to swim in the ocean but the rocky shore was beautiful.

Be aware that this is a karaoke bar with associated hotel rooms. It is very very bizar, because it could have been a wonderful hotel. The suroundings are calm, silent, and beautifful. The rooms are nice and spacy, the staff are friendly their is a large balkony etc. The owner of this place has however, deliberately destroyed the place by turning it into pure hell when large groups of Philippine people enter the place and make such an infernal noice singing karaoke in a gigantic karaoke system that makes it so loud that you literally can not make a communication inside of your hotel room

Karaoke

We had a great experience from this resort. The staff are very accomodating to our request. Although, they have only few staff, they are doing their best to provide all our request. They were kind to all our request. We rented the kitchen and paid for 500 pesos and they prepare all utensils, etc. Resto is open from 7/8am-7/8pm. Rooms are very clean and smell good not unlike other resorts. Great ambiance and the view is stunning. We are safe. People who said it is not safe must be aware of the location only few minutes away from the highway. We arrive almost 1:30am after the party from JJ bar. We rented two trike and both driver are every helpful, they even waited to us before the party's cut off by 1am. Food is okay and drinks. Typically for a simple breakfast and beers during night. You will have to order in advance to make sure they will note of your request. They might be late 40s but very kind as they are doing their best to provide the best service and experience during your stay😍 The owner is very responsive to all my inquiries. When I reported an incident about the foreigner, the owner is attentive. Also, booking.com representatives are responsive too. Kudos to all of them!

It is not what I don't like, the staff are very attentive if they could just add more staff to attend all guest request immidiately will be helpful 😀 What is worth are the staff. We have an incident and reported fo booking.com about a foreigner who just checked in and their trike just arrived from the hotel to stop the videoke. Dude, it just 2pm and we just also arrive during lunch and most of us are singers and you're asking to stop us? like wt*! we were 13 and I check out Nov. 30th instead of Dec. 1st. My other friends of 10 just checked out Dec. 01 but that night on Nov. 30th, they had the same issue with foreigner. I wish I could get his name to file a report directly to siquijor banning the couple. He accompanied a pinay also. I had paid 7k for our stay and my friend paid 18k plus, because you don't want karaoke, you will stop all the guest who would like to use it? The informatoon is included on the policy under facilities. You have been harrasing all of us, meaning all filipinos! There are other guest who used karaoke and stopped them too, even the staff, you are insisting what you want. Don't you dare! If you have been reading this, I have raise this report to booking.com and the owner. You have to pay respect to the filipinos! We are all the same guest, if you want a peaceful vacation go to other luxury island like amanpulo or balabac or pay the whole resort from your stay! We are humans! We will not tolerate this type of behavior!

Friendly staff, great food, location is great and watching the kids in the pool for you is nice.felt safe leaving expensive goods in room as it's well watched.

The quite beachfront and very accommodating staff !!!

We were not able to swim in the pool, because of our limited time..

Pool, room

Over priced food

Cosy, clean and not so expensive.

Location was peaceful which I liked. The view from my room was so relaxing. The beach front is rocky but my grandson loved the tide pools during low tide. The staff was excellent and made us feel at home. I loved the resident dogs, well cared for and loved.

Nothing much.

Food was excellent. They have a really good cook there.

A air conditioner in the living room would be nice.

We were a group of 7 and the room is huge, it was so comfortable! The facilities are clean and the view especially in the morning was astonishing! It was calming to hang out in front of the sea, while waiting for the sunrise. Our big room only has 1 big CR but they have CRs outside that you can use and those are clean too! Adayo has friendly staffs, shout out to Ate Conny! The owners were there too and they are very friendly and accommodating. We stayed there for 2 nights and we regretted transferring to a different property :( It was booked in advance, that’s why!! As for the transportation within Siquijor, they contacted someone for us, it was a third party car rentals. Sadly, we had a hard time getting our deposit back from that 3rd party car rentals but the staffs from Adayo helped us contact them for us. They reply really fast and finally got our deposit back the next day! Adayo staffs are very helpful! Will surely go back here!

None - everything was perfect for us as a group!

It was wrong. Choose the Cove resort. The location was too hard to reach anywhere. The breakfast restaurant wasn't good and looked all too old staff. I felt it was not clean the kitchen.

Locations Not look at good, then photos

We loved the tranquil ambiance, the cleanliness of the rooms and facilities, the beautiful swimming pool, the friendly staff and owners, and the delicious meals. We were also glad for the recommendations of tour guides and activities provided by the staff. And the girls loved the homey feel, including the pet dogs of the owners, Jim and Joy, who welcomed us warmly. For our first visit to Siquijor, we couldn't have picked a better place than this lovely spot, which is wonderfully situated away from the crowds, but not too far from all of the major sights and experiences we enjoyed on the island. Thoroughly satisfying!

Nothing not to like!

Everything from the location the staff and the surroundings We felt extremely welcome and the staff was extremely friendly We had a wonderful stay !

The gardens, food, peacefulness, tranquility

It was in a great location, away from the hustle & bustle. The resort was beautiful, like a little jungle. The pool was clean & plenty of sun loungers. The resort had its own cove which was stunning. Staff were extremely helpful & happy to have us stay.

We were on the ground floor, when the guests above walked around, it was extremely noisy and sounded like furniture was being dragged around the property.

We came to adayo at our first days of trip. So we were little bit confused, the hotel helps us quickly with good english guide and careing . I think we love the most how room was useful and with essential stuff.

I think it was near the beach and it was the most beautiful view we ever seen The colors of the sea, we could see it since there charming garden outside if the hotel

Friendly, clean and very good food

The resort is nice, restaurant was good too. Staff were helpful organising an island tour for us.

You need a moped - it is a 45 minute walk to the beach and further for most restaurants. Tricycles were expensive from here.

Very peaceful hotel with a beautiful garden and nice pool area. Room was large, clean and Comfortable. The staff were very friendly and welcoming - especially Wyn who helped me a lot with organising tricycles/tour and info. The hotel is quite far from main area but they have a tricycle.

I almost loved everything about Adayo Cove. Most importantly the owners and the crew. Very friendly and concerned people. You dont feel like a guest there but a member of a big family…

Maybe it is just me, but the food portions could be a little bit bigger. Whatever we ate were just delicisious. But i always felt like i could eat one more plate :)

This was a tranquil place with lots of time to reflect and write. The hotel has an excellent swimming pool and the staff are exceptionally friendly. The food was pretty good and the work put into the gardens by the owners was unbelievable.

Personally I would have preferred a bar and the ability to order food at the time of serving - but I appreciate that food is cooked to order and needs to prepared in advance.

When opening the doors to bathroom it makes very loud noise that awakes everyone. Try to use some oil on the doors ;) And maybe clean once in two days.

Quiet location although you will need transport or use tricycles. Room was good and balcony nice. Owners and staff very helpful.

You can't swim off the beach and you need to preorder a meal if you want to eat there.

Very friendly staff!

Everything was perfect.

An excellent space for kids to run around in.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Adayo Cove Resort. The staff was not only awesome but also incredibly hospitable. They went above and beyond to cater to our every request, and their warmth and friendliness truly made our stay memorable. The room was spotlessly clean and had the perfect level of coolness to ensure a comfortable night's sleep. The icing on the cake was the breathtaking view of the ocean from our room. We can't recommend Adayo Cove Resort enough for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway. A truly wonderful experience!

Nothing. Everything was perfect. 🤍

Beautiful garden and nice pool, decent facilities

When checking in I was told breakfast was included. Upon checking out, they charged me for the breakfast and even charged me for the napkins I used. I did not appreciate being scammed for 500php

Very clean, attentive staff, excellent swimming pool, lots of space for kids to run around and play.

Wifi in the room didn’t always work. Staff did fix it.

Located close to San Juan (tourist area) and the Port of Siquijor.

Ants

Very green and pretty grounds. The staff were very helpful and accommodating.

You could not walk anywhere as it was down a long track off the main road so you had to get a bike or trike which wasn’t a problem but I usually like to walk. Also although it is seafront it was not a beach

Highly recommended resort in Siquijor. The location is very near to Paliton Beach and San Juan. We love the garden and the pool. The staff are very accommodating and welcoming. Definitely will definitely visit again.

Nice clean pool. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice well maintained grounds and gardens. Quiet and right on the water although not a swimable beach.

Poor or no wifi after first couple days. Intermittent signal. The living room/kitchen space in the villa did not have a separate a aircon unit and the bedroom unit could not cool the room. Long lead times required for meals from restaurant
