Reviewed Sep 16, 2026Awesome location, caring, considerate staff, very nice and helpful. The opportunity to be so close to private and relatively close to public beach, walking paths, food, bars, etc is well worth it. The sea view rooms have sick balconies with seating. Hot, hot water. First time Ive had hot water like this in 7 weeks.
Rooms a bit worn down, beds extremely hard, but you're literally at the heart of Yung Shue Wan Village steps from the ferry. While very expensive, its just how it is: HK is brutally expensive.

Reviewed Jan 3, 2019Great hotel for Lamma, very helpful staff and very clean. Beautiful view over the harbour. Beds were a bit too firm, but we asked for a duvet under the bottom sheet and they were happy to oblige. Close to ferry and surprisingly quiet at night.

Reviewed Oct 14, 2018It was a no frills hotel, in an amazing convenient location. The bed was kindof uncomfortable and you have to be down with a single stall toilet/shower/bathroom combo. I would stay here again! Lamma island is beautiful and unique, and Man Lai Wah was the best value option.
