Große Anlage mit viel Auswahl. Zwei Strände mit direktem Zugang und Liegen mit Sonnenschirm inklusive. Waren mit drei Kinder dort. Das Personal ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend. An jedem pool war immer ein Bademeister anwesend, der auch sein Job gemacht hat und nicht irgendwie am Handy hing. Lage ist gut, Taxistand ist direkt am Hotelausgang. Supermarkt ist zu Fuß schnell erreichbar, wie auch kleine shops und die Wäscherei. Gute Auswahl an alkoholischen Getränken und auch alkoholfreien Getränken. Touren sind direkt über Hotel buchbar. Buffet war gut mit viel Auswahl, welche sich die Tage auch änderte. Checkout spätestens bis 12:00. Da unser Flug abends ging, dürften wir bis 13 Uhr auschecken. Auch nach checkout dürften wir Mittagessen wie auch weiterhin die Bars benutzen.

Zimmer sind nicht mehr im guten Zustand. Klimaanlage kann nur in der Temperatur verstellt werden und läuft nur auf Vollgas. Musste die Sperre selber aufheben, damit es runter gesetzt werden konnte, sonst war es zu unangenehm beim schlafen, vorallem für die Kinder. Doppelbettzimmer deluxe ist klein. Mit 2 Erwachsenen, 2 Kinder und einem Kleinkind zu klein. Die Koffer sind ständig im weg. Türgriff für Balkon war beschädigt, hat aber grad noch so funktioniert, die Schiebetür selber sehr schwergängig. Farbe an den Wänden platzt ab. Minibar Kühlschrank nicht so sehr ansprechend mit wenig Kühlleistung. In der Dusche dauert es sehr lang bis warmes Wasser kommt. Nachts kamen die Kakerlaken im Badezimmer raus, mussten nachts das Licht anlassen, damit sie nicht kommen. Handtuchhalter war Defekt, Dübel kam bei ersten Benutzung entgegen. Am Boden hat der Türstopper gefehlt, was aber übrig davon blieb ist eine Spitze Schraube die 3cm rausragte, zum Glück ist es uns am zweiten Tag aufgefallen ohne das jemand ernsthaft verletzt wurde. Nach beschweren, wurden beide Sachen auch innerhalb 30 Minuten beseitigt. Ein Wackelkontakt im Sicherungskasten sorgte immer wieder für Stromausfall, konnten wir aber selber temporär durch klopfen auf die Sicherung beheben. Auch das haben wir reklamiert, wieder war jemand da innerhalb 30 Minuten, das Problem hat er gesehen aber nicht behoben. 2 Tage später wieder reklamiert, bis Auszug war aber keine Reparatur gemacht worden. Die Zimmertür dichtet nicht richtig ab, teilweise hat man 5mm Spalt. Alles was auf dem Gang passiert, hört man sehr laut, hat uns aber nicht direkt gestört. Auf dem Gang vor dem Serverraum/Abstellkammer wurde immer dreckiges Geschirr abgestellt, welches teilweise Tage rumstand, ein Trick um die Kakerlaken wo anders hinzu scheuchen? In manchen Abstellkammer war irgendein Schrott drin auf einem Haufen wie alte Duschköpfe etc.

Overall, I was happy with my experience, though there were several areas that could be improved. I was unable to book dinner at the hotel restaurant as it was consistently full, and the available timing was difficult to manage. Regarding the room, I noticed a leak stain on the ceiling, and the shower was quite frustrating. The showerhead would not stay in place and had to be held manually to work. Furthermore, hot water was almost nonexistent; while the cold water had great pressure, the hot water lasted only a few minutes, turning a quick shower into a ten-minute ordeal. I also found the policy of not flushing toilet paper quite unpleasant, as keeping a bin for used paper in the room felt unhygienic. Lastly, there was a lack of consistency at the beverage stands. While one stand offered Slurpees, another would only serve juice with ice. Although my kids loved the drinks regardless, the variation was a bit confusing. Despite these issues, the stay was generally good, but the room maintenance and dining availability definitely need attention.

One aspect of our stay that I found truly disappointing was the checkout policy. After vacating our room, we only had about two hours to eat before we were required to leave the premises. I really wish the departure time could have been extended by a few hours so we could have enjoyed the rest of the day. My children were especially disappointed when I told them it was already time to go.

We had such a wonderful stay at this resort! From the moment we arrived, everything was beautiful and welcoming. The property was stunning, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful throughout our stay, which made the experience even more special. Especially Victor who was an animator, he was really nice and funny and made sure we had a fun time.

This hotel is fantastic, with a wonderful ocean view and a beautiful sunset; the food and drinks were good. The housekeeping staff always does a great job—excellent work. I also want to commend the entertainment team; our grandson loves them all. The shows are fantastic, and a special mention goes to Amaury ("Chihuahua"), the entertainment supervisor. Thanks for everything; we’ll be back in December.

J'ai trouvé le personnel très sympathique et avenant avec ma famille, toujours très disponible pour aider mais il faut savoir leur parler (bonjour, merci et au revoir) et ils seront agréable avec vous. L'emplacement est très bien, avec 2 plages disponibles (une privée et l'autre publique) des bars toujours proche, des chaises longues en suffisance et la nourriture du buffet de très bonne qualité. Aussi le wifi fonctionnait parfaitement dans tous l'hôtel.

Que le personnel traite les dominicains un peu mieux et sans les critiquer derrière leur dos. Et il serait bien de rallonger un peu les horaires du snack jusqu'à 18h

I travel to a different resort every year and have been all around the world. DO. NOT. COME. HERE. I don't typically leave reviews often but when I do they're very meaningful in either a very positive way or a very negative way. This review is to warn people to stay far away from this Resort especially Canadians. We are not welcome here and they will do everything they can to let you know it. Apart from the discrimination the rooms are absolutely atrocious. What they don't tell you is that the resort is on an old septic system so you have to wipe yourself when you go to the bathroom and throw the toilet paper in the garbage can because the toilet can't handle it. If that's not enough to ruin your vacation I don't know what is. At the end of the day this is supposed to be a vacation not camping in a third world country. Even Cuba wasn't like this when they were at their Prime. The rooms are absolutely disgusting and are falling apart. The ceiling tiles are cracked. The floor tiles are cracked dirty moldy and are breaking apart. The caulking on the bathtub and toilet are old and dirty and are coming off. There is no hot water in the hotel no matter what they tell you to make you think that they can fix it. They will just keep telling you that they're going to try to fix it to prevent from writing a report. The mini fridge in the room does not work. The tables are completely broken and have been put together with super glue and are not usable. The furniture is absolutely disgusting and looks like it came out of a garbage can. The toilet is so disgusting it makes me want to throw up. One of the worst Parts is that they play atrocious karaoke in the amphitheater right next to the rooms up until almost midnight. The hotel is also extremely Rowdy and filled with locals who just want to get drunk and scream all throughout the night. This is not a vacation. This is disgusting. It should not be open to anyone except locals because this behavior is tolerated and encouraged. Perhaps management needs to revisit the purpose and intention of what an all-inclusive resort is meant to entail and who exactly it's meant to cater to because this is not it. I don't even want to ever come back to Dominican Republic ever again. That's how bad this experience was. It's not even worth talking about the amenities or the food which all have issues as well. It took 3 hours to check in because there's only one front desk person who takes 20 minutes to check in one room. You do not get a resort map and no one tells you where to find anything. No one tells you that you have a la carte reservations available and when you do find out you're only allowed to book them between 10:00 and 11:00 on certain days which means you lose your spot on the beach. The staff are not friendly which brings me back to the original point that they don't want you here if you're not one of them. I've never felt like this at any other all inclusive in any other country. This was a crazy experience. I wanted to call my Airline and tell them to send me home on an earlier flight just to get away from here. A very important note for anyone thinking of booking here is that the photos posted are an absolute lie. The photos are for the select side which you have to pay an arm and a leg for. Not only that but the select perks are actually not that great. The regular side of the beach is better than the select side. If the select side wants to partake in any of the activities they have to walk all the way over to the regular side which is extremely far. You might as well rent your own condo if you're going to pay for select because it is absolutely not worth it. Those rooms are renovated however just go to another Resort where the regular room will be tolerable at the very least. The regular room shouldn't feel like you're living in a trash can. PLEASE do not come here. If management is reading this then I am glad however don't respond to me and say that you care about the experience because you didn't care when I was there and you don't care now that I'm gone. I'm warning my fellow citizens of where they should go and spend their hard-earned money and it is not in your resort.

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The room was dirty, had a musty smell, and was poorly maintained. The second room they gave me was even worse, although it did not have the musty smell. The front desk customer service was also very poor, and the food was disappointing. Overall, this was a very unpleasant experience, and I would not recommend this hotel.

We were on the select side and were treated very well. We celebrated my husband's birthday and our 37th anniversary everything was fantastic. The room we had was nice except for the shower over flowing. Maintenance came several times, however, the problem couldn't be resolved. Milton guest services came with the last and final Maintenance worker, he observed everything and took detailed notes. Any problem you have Milton is the man to see he will make every effort to fix the problem. Milton is very professional and maintains his composure even though some guests are yelling at him. In our opinion keep Milton as he is a fine example of a man who thoroughly enjoys his work and this reflects on your resort. The staff on the select side are amazing from the bar to the eating area. We will return in September for two weeks.

A group of us went again this year (some have been having been staying at this resort for many, many years) The last two years have been a real let down. Getting into your room takes approx. 1.5 hours and then its not the room you were promised in email conversations with the hotel. I was separated completely from my group on the resort and put in a room that reeked like smoke, ceiling was leaking in the bathroom and the television did not work. I was forced to stay in this room for 5 days until something else became available. (despite front desk promising the issues would be resolved, not was fixed) We watched busloads of people every day leave - what was happening with those rooms? Or were there that many unhappy people waiting to be moved. When I finally was moved I my room was clean and everything in working order, however it was not the side of the resort I had requested. Three seperate times I was locked out of my room (key would not open the door) and the first time and I waiting over and hour to have a maintenance person come and fix it. Management do very little to understand your concerns. That said, the food service staff, the bartenders (shout out to Virginia) and the animation/activity coordinators are the best people you could ask for. Food was also very good, big variety, also fresh. Drinks seem very watered down but are unlimited. Given all the frustrations over the past two stays, 11 of us have chosen not to return to Casa Marina. We will however continue to enjoy all Sosua has to offer but will spend our hard earned money elsewhere.

We traveled with a group of 13, including a bunch of teenagers and older kids, so I know family trips can be hit or miss—but this one was a win. The first thing we loved was how close the resort is to the airport. After a 4-hour flight, the 15-minute drive to the resort was amazing. We were checked in and relaxing in no time. The rooms were decent. They were clean and comfortable, but they could definitely use a bit of an update. Honestly, though, we spent so little time in the room that it didn't really matter. The staff were wonderful the entire trip. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and always happy to answer our questions. The resort has two beaches and three pools (one is adults only), plus three gorgeous cliffside infinity pools that are also adults only. The views from there are incredible! The only thing I found a little odd was that the beaches and pools close at 7 p.m., but after the first day we just planned around it. Both beaches are shared with locals and another resort. We actually preferred the smaller beach because it has a bar right there, which made it easy to grab drinks without leaving the beach. The main beach is beautiful too, but you'll want to pick up your drinks before heading down the stairs since there's no bar at the bottom. The food honestly surprised us—in a good way! The buffet had lots of options, and the three reservation restaurants were all worth trying. The seafood platter was amazing, and the salmon was a huge hit with our kids. One of my favorite parts, especially as a mom of teens, was the entertainment. There were games and activities throughout the day that kept the kids busy instead of hearing, "I'm bored!" every hour. 😂 Huge shoutout to Juan Carlos and Viktor for making the activities so much fun and getting everyone involved. The evening shows were another highlight. There was a different theme every night, and it became something we all looked forward to after dinner. Overall, we had such a relaxing and memorable trip. No resort is perfect, but the friendly staff, great food, fun entertainment, and beautiful ocean views made this an easy place to enjoy. We'd definitely come back! 🌴☀️

La numeración/ubicación de las habitaciones, me extravié par de veces e incluso al pedir ayuda al personal ellos mismo se confunden, fuera un plus tener ascensor, estuve alojada en el cuarto nivel y fue muy sofocante. Desconozco si al realizar la reserva tiene la opción de elegir el nivel de la habitación( ejem: 1er, 2do, 3er, etc piso). Que no tienen heladería dentro, me informaron que hay una cerca en los alrededores del hotel, no creo que eso influya en no tener el servicio para los huéspedes. El joven que estuvo a cargo del snack de la noche deberían darle una retroalimentación sobre el manejo con el huésped es un poco pesado.

In the buffet Yovanny Darán was super helpful and super kind and i think one of the best waiters. The rooms are good but sometimes has trouble with the outlets but it’s clean. The views are beautiful and it’s super relaxing. They have two sides of beaches and 4 pools. Overall i like this resort a lot and would come back. El resort me gusto mucho. Es tranquilo y tiene una playa hermosa. También me gusto que tiene muchos árboles y flores ea muy bonito. Y la vista al mar es hermosa, mi familia y yo tomamos muchas fotos. Las staff de las habitaciones eran muy atenta muy buen servicio.

No me gusto: el staff en los bares y en el buffet. No saben ser sonrientes y cordiales con los clientes están siempre con una cara como de mal humor. Los de los bares te atienden de mala manera hasta que les das propinas entonces después de la propina si están de buen humor. En el buffet siempre están de mala y no sonríen y ni te ofrecen nada. Solo las que están al frente son amables cuando entras al buffet. Otra cosa que no me gusto fue la comida . No tenia mal sabor pero en la dos noche y tres dias que dure nunca cambiaron el menú siempre era lo mismo. El agua sabía malissima y los jugos muy dulce. Mi familia completa salimos enfermo de el estómago y mi hijo le dio una diarrea qué pensé que tenia ameba.
