La ubicación, muy céntrica a todos los puntos de interes, incluso la estación del tren está 3 minutos a pie andando.La atención y la acogida de Filomena y el personal es increíble!!Filomena es un encanto de mujer tiene un trato familiar y muy amable, los desayunos eran muy ricos, nos ha hecho sentir como en casa.

Everything! The hotel is incredibly stylish and pretty. The location was amazing; right at the heart of the old town. The staff were very friendly and polite and the hostess equally warm and welcoming. Breakfast was of exceptional quality and everyone was very helpful.

In unserem Zimmer konnten wir die Fenster über Nacht nur einen Spalt weit öffnen, und das zum Innenhof.

This hotel is the absolute best! It is in a perfect location with easy access to everything in town. The decor is beautiful, it is sparkling clean, and has all of the amenities you could want or need. The best part is how well cared for the staff makes you feel. It truly seems as though you are family being looked after. You could not ask for a better stay in Tavira.

L’hotel si presenta come una dimora storica elegante e ben tenuta, con un’ampia terrazza sul soffitto in cui poter passare piacevoli momenti di relax. La stanza in cui abbiamo alloggiato era pulita e confortevole, con un bagno molto spazioso. Abbiamo apprezzato molto la colazione che è stata abbondante, con prodotti freschi e di ottima qualità. Tutto il personale e la Signora Filomena sono stati molto gentili e accoglienti, se dovessi tornare a Tavira tornerei sicuramente ad alloggiare qui.

Al di là del fatto che si tratta di una dimora storica in una posizione centrale spettacolare…..Filomena è davvero una ospite eccezionale!!!! Basti solo pensare che la mattina ci portava personalmente croissant e pane fresco per la colazione. Impagabile!!! Colazione abbondante e di livello. Camere spaziose e letti confortevoli.

Conforto, simpatia, limpeza e o ponto alto, o pequeno almoço! Servido a mesa com muito requinte e simpatia e os empregados muito profissionais.

Só têm camas de casal e eu gosto da minha cama individual, principalmente quando viajo com família (filhos) ou amigos e partilhamos o mesmo quarto.

Hay escaleras para acceder y a nuestra habitación otra de caracol . Te despiertas al amanecer por la luz . Y todo el ruido del hotel se escucha en la habitación . No es favorable para el descanso si quieres dormir más de las 7 de la mañana .

El trato excepcional de Filomena desde el principio. La habitación muy limpia y amplia. El desayuno delicioso y variado. La cercanía de la ubicación a los principales puntos de interés turístico.

I loved everything. Filomina was amazing, like 10++++, I stayed there 11 nights while looking at apartments to relocate to Tavira. She and Jossie noticed everything and went above and beyond, seriously I could write a book on Filomena's extraordinary service and eye for details, not flashy, just subtle, carefully done services. I often made sandwiches in my room and so they set up a little dining area on the vanity. She washed my shirt, and even gave me a ride to the bus!!!!! The hotel itself is so beautiful, kept 100 percent spotlessly clean. They offer beach towels and umbrellas for a day at the beach. Absolutely fabulous stay. I love Filomina. Jossie too!!!!!!!!!!!

Las instalaciones son inmejorables, súper bien decorado y súper limpio. La ubicación está en pleno centro. Solo hay que andar una calle y ya estás en el centro. La anfitriona es súper profesional. Se ha presentado a todos los problemas que me han surgido.

This is an amazing find in Tavira! First of all, the staff is wonderful. Philomena was so kind and welcoming - "this is your house now" was what she said to us upon check-in while offering us a glass of wine. The service was above and beyond - breakfast was delish and plentiful - kept us full for the day, we never needed lunch! The common spaces are delightful - especially the outdoor areas, wish we had more time to utilize. Our room was very comfortable with very good air conditioning - excellent on the very hot days and when we returned from the beach. Excellent location - short walk to town, square, and ferry. Also just around the corner from what was our favorite restaurant of our stay - Artefact (book ahead). I highly recommend this property and I look forward to a return visit.

Lugar con mucho encanto, con un personal maravilloso y atento. Las habitaciones son muy grandes y preciosas. El desayuno abundante y muy rico. La ubicación perfecta para ir caminando a todas partes. Ha sido una experiencia muy gratificante que sin duda no dudaríamos en repetir. Gracias House Tavira por hacernos pasar una estancia inolvidable.

Alles 😀 hat uns gefallen 🥰 Eine wunderschöne Unterkunft mit elegantem Flair . Sehr schön eingerichtet bot Tavira House ein comfortables Zimmer an mit Bad und separaten Duschberreich. Wir hatten das Hibisco Zimmer ,zur Straße gerichtet, denoch sehr ruhig. Eine Klimaanlage sorgte für kühle, angenehme Temperatur. Es bittet eine Lounge, Dachterrasse ebenfalls sehr schön möbliert. Ein willkommen Getränk gab es auch und das Frühstück wurde zum Tisch gebracht und serviert. Es wurde auf persönliche Wünsche eingegangen 😊 Filomena hat uns nach dem ersten per WhatsApp Kontakt sehr herzlich begrüßt und uns alles erklärt. Die Unterkunft liegt nah an Bahnhof und nah am Centro . Die Möglichkeit das Gepäck dort zu lassen gibt es ebenfalls. Ich würde diese Unterkunft jederzeit wieder buchen! Das Gefühl " willkommen zu sein" hatten wor zur 100% empfunden.

Quando cheguei me colocaram em um quarto um pouco barulhento, pois ficava próximo a entrada principal, mas logo me trocaram de quarto, aí a estadia ficou perfeita.

i feel like at home, i was cosy and super clean. I parked my motorcycle at the small street just at the front door. the room was big and lovely, also with a good air condition. The staff was lovely and polite. I will come back

Stanza e bagno molto ampi, buona A/C e WiFi, terrazza per vedere le stelle e fare colazione la mattina, casa d’epoca mantenuta in alcune aree originale, posizione top a due passi dal centro. Staff gentile e disponibile.

Non sono amante delle stanze con finestra lato strada. Lo splitter A/C era molto distante dal letto, per questo bisogna tenerlo al massimo. Poco spazio per vestiti.

El reservar nuestra habitación en Tavira House fue una sorpresa inesperada y maravillosa. Todo en el Tavira House es espectacular. La localización, el edificio, las habitaciones, la decoración de zonas comunes, y sobre todo, la amabilidad y profesionalidad tanto de la dueña como de todo el personal. Además, es Pet-friendly y nuestro perro (un caniche gigante), fue considerado como un miembro más de la familia. Recomiendo encarecidamente que si visitáis Tavira, no dudéis en reservar y quedaros en esta joya del Algarve.

No puedo decir nada negativo del alojamiento. Cómo ya he explicado en el apartado anterior, ha sido un placer visitar el Tavira House, y repetiremos.

It was very clean, well appointed and the staff was unbelievable! Filomena is so kind to her guests and calls each by name. Jossi, was very helpful as well. I highly recommend staying here. You will not be dissapointed.

We can't rate this place highly enough. Philomena and the other staff were so warm, welcoming and helpful. The room and the common areas were exquisite and the breakfast was fabulous. We will recommend this place to all of our friends and we would love to return.

The location is great, walkable to the river and restaurants. The place is beautiful and very clean. Filomena is exceptionally helpful,welcoming and friendly. Breakfast is very good.

Die Lage war sehr zentral, wir konnten alles zu Fuß erreichen. Gleichzeitig war es sehr ruhig, da das Hotel in einem Wohnbezirk liegt. Tavira House ist ein historisches Gebäude und bietet neben den schönen (klimatisierten) Zimmern auch einen charmanten Aufenthaltsbereich mit kleiner Bar sowie einer großen Dachterrasse. Das Frühstück war vielseitig und üppig. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt hier sehr genossen.

This property looks nothing from the outside so we were amazed at the space once we gained access. There are plenty communal areas to relax including a lovely terrace and sun terrace. The property was decorated to a high standard and the honesty bar was a lovely touch although we didn't use it. The continental breakfast was fresh and delicious each morning. The staff were very friendly and the service excellent. Thank you to Filomena and Josie for looking after us so well.

This is not a criticism by any means but it is worth mentioning that the property is situated on an incline and stairs have to be used to access the communal areas for breakfast.

Un très beau séjour dans le vieux quartier de Tavira ! Une belle bâtisse décorée avec goût, ambiance chic et cosy qui donne des envies de cocooning. Très beaux espaces extérieurs (terrasses et rooftop). Accueil très chaleureux, chambre spacieuse, confortable et propre, personnel aux petits soins. Un petit déjeuner copieux et plus que complet. Nous nous sommes sentis comme à la maison. Merci pour votre gentillesse, nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

The Tavira House Hotel is a beautifully restored several hundred year old house in Tavira’s old town. Although the bedroom we stayed in, and I think the others too, was generic, stripped of historic details, it was modern with modern amenities. The common rooms are drop dead gorgeous though and a pleasure to spend a little time in. There is and outside eating area and a roof top patio. The hotel was spotless. Our host, Philomena, and her staff were outstanding, incredibly helpful and caring. She very generously gave us her parking spot on the street when we arrived. In addition the breakfast was very generous. The hotel is within easy walking distance to everything and is relatively flat. We would definitely stay there again.

Although there are several street level rooms, you need to be able to walk up a substantial flight of stairs to get to the beautiful rooms and the breakfast.

Beautiful old Portuguese house in very central location. Lovely inside - outside spaces to chill & terraces on different levels. Room very clean, small but had everything. Staff lovely, helpful and friendly. Honesty bar was great even had snacks and breakfasts delicious. Would definitely recommend.

Zeer mooi, met Zorg gerestaureerd, gebouw. Heerlijke ruime, brede en lange bedden die goed lagen met goede hoofdkussens, dekbedden en luxe katoenen lakens. Dikke handdoeken, voortreffelijk uitgeserveerd ontbijt. Zeer vriendelijk die je helemaal in de watten leggen

Everything! Filomena is a gem. Staff were very friendly and served an awesome breakfast every morning. Nice alcove for reading, nice rooftop for stargazing, and the honor bar is great. Would definitely go back!

We had a wonderful 6 night stay at Tavira House Hotel. The hotel is lovely, a beautiful restored building with comfortable sitting areas indoor and outdoor and very comfortable rooms. Breakfast was excellent and included fresh fruit, yoghurt, scrambled eggs, breads, and pasta de nata to finish!! Filomena, Joshi and the team were extremely welcoming and helpful looking after all our needs including serving coffee during the day and providing a sun parasol and towels for the beach. The Honesty bar was very good.

Easy walking distance to central Tavira, restaurants etc. good breakfast. Lovely terrace on rooftop to sit in sun and have a drink.

Unfortunately problems with hot water system and cold showers resulted intermittently. Beds ok but firm. No tissues or face washes in room - not a deal breaker! Parking in narrow street outside a little tricky and for anyone with mobility issues, steep staircase to get to Rooms and breakfast area.
