The location of the hotel is absolutely perfect …short walk to the centre of the town, close to the station and short transfer from the airport

Despite excellent reviews we found the hotel to be tired …the room we stayed in was very basic and needs updating ..the fridge kicks out hot air and we were told to just open the wardrobe door to cool it down ..the pool area is not well maintained and again is just a bit shabby. Timings for us also weren’t brilliant ..It would be great if the gym opened before 8 so you could go before breakfast (obviously this won’t be everyone’s request! There are no water coolers so you can’t refill bottles -little things that you would expect from a four star hotel.

le petit déjeuner était parfait, très varié. La chambre était spacieuse avec balcon et la salle de bains était également très bien. La piscine était très grande, avec des très nombreux transats en périphérie; le snack situé à côté de la piscine était très sympa, pratique et bon. l'hôtel est situé à côté du centre ville et l'on peut s'y rendre à pied.

Location was great for us, staff for the most part were very welcoming, a few really didn’t like their jobs and it sadly showed. Hotel seemed to be in good condition, few niggles on the cleaning, but it is what it is. Breakfast offering was really good, we did use the pool bar for lunch and again, food was great.

Customer service was a bit hit and miss. ie asked about luggage room and dismissed with ‘it is open’ - wonderful, but sorry where is it?! I saw others get a similar service from one receptionist in particular (the others had been really helpful) Ordered a drink in Nomad, half an hour later it hadn’t arrived, our order hadn’t been put through so instead of our leisurely pre-dinner drink we had ten minutes to enjoy it before dashing out to a dinner reservation. Maid service, floors not swept on arrival ours we walked in to find my bed made but a sheet folded on my friends bed, seems the maid forgot to put the sheet on hers had just left it folded for us to put on the bed ourselves. Sunbed area could do with a good sweep.

Meget hyggelig og imøtekommende personell som var fantastisk på alle måter. Hjelpsom, trivelig og høflige. Frokosten var den absolutt beste vi opplevde på vår reise med 7 ulike hotell vi bodde på langs hele Portugal fra Nord til sør og langs hele Algarvekysten. Hotellet og beliggenhet med utsikten var enestående, samt bassengfasaliteter var fantastisk!

Aircondition opplevdes svært dårlig! Selv om vi stilte AC på absolutt minimum 18grader så kjølte den så lite effektivt at vi sov nesten ikke I det hele tatt på grunn av varmen gjennom natten. Vi overnattet kun en natt på grunn av dette og valgte derfor å reise videre fra Tavira uten flere overnattinger

The staff from reception at check in to everyone we met along the way always had a smile and a greeting they made everyone feel welcome.Loved the pool area always enough sun beds no matter what time of day you went and no leaving towels at the crack of dawn ,the food at the pool bar was very nice.We were able to upgrade or room for a small extra payment. Lovely rooftop bar and restaurant with very reasonable prices.The breakfast was very good with a good choice of hot and cold options

A localização é perfeita para explorar o centro de Tavira e muito perto dos dois restaurantes onde se comeu melhor.

A limpeza do hotel é lamentável. Imenso pó no quarto, cabelos pêlos nos rodapés, debaixo da cabeça. Claramente não foi feita limpeza adequada entre hóspedes. O elevador do piso estava cheio de pó.

Das pessoas, excelentes. Um bem haja para o senhor Artur sempre simpático e o pianista Jorge.

Houve um pequeno problema com o quarto que estávamos hospedados mas foi rapidamente solucionado

La situación del hotel ya que aunque está cerca del centro si vas a pie hay que subir una cuesta o unas escaleras públicas altas.

La iluminación del baño,era muy oscuro y después para dormir la luz de emergencia molesta bastante...

La ubicación es perfecta para recorrer el centro de la ciudad a tan solo 10 min caminando Aparcamiento gratuito si consigues plaza. En la zona es fácil aparcar.

Super Vriendelijk personeel, goede ligging, prima kamers. Veel keus bij het ontbijt. Groot zwembad, alleen vanaf ongeveer 17:00u hier geen zon meer. Goeie gym, apparatuur wel wat verouderd en niet alles was functioneel. Lekkere douchegel

Kwaliteit ontbijt vond ik medium. Weinig groentes, geen noten/zaden. Veel ongezonde keuzes. Kamer helaas niet goed schoon.

Ottima posizione, da fuori l’hotel è molto carino e tutto sommato ci è piaciuto.

Forse struttura un po’ datata stanno sistemando ma si vedono i segni del tempo, nel complesso comunque gradevole

En general todo lo demás del hotel no corresponde a 4estrellas. Destacando las habitaciones: no están insonorizadas, el baño recuerda a los 80, en general mala iluminación. El servicio de limpieza en la habitación no pasó durante los 2 días que estuvimos allí , hasta las 15.30h!!! Y con escasa eficacia, pues las camas las hacían sin ni siquiera estirar la bajera o modificar la almohada… El gimnasio también escaso de limpieza, no dispone de agua ni detalles básicos que están presentes inclusos en estancias de menos calidad… Excesivo precio para estos precios. Pérdida de dinero absoluta.

Excelente estadia, com uma ótima piscina e uma localização muito conveniente. O staff foi impecável e o serviço do bar da piscina destacou-se pela simpatia e qualidade.

Como ponto menos positivo, algumas das máquinas do spa não estavam a funcionar. De resto, não houve nada de relevante a apontar.

A simpatia dos funcionários, o pequeno-almoço muito variado e com música ao vivo, a limpeza, boa climatização, a zona da piscina exterior e a ótima localização.

O colchão era bastante desconfortável, a casa de banho tinha luz insuficiente e a luz da sinalética de saída é demasiado forte. É como dormir com uma luz acesa. A televisão é um pouco desatualizada. Não dá, por exemplo, para apps.

Gostei de tudo, funcionários atenciosos, hotel com ótimas condições, o pequeno almoço era incrível!

Beautiful rooms and great service. Loved the pool vibe and breakfast was excellent way to start our days. Lunch’s were the highlight of my day by the pool unreal burger options.

Downside was the drinking water we had to buy at a store and bring back to the room only one bottle of water provided.

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Pool an excellent size and pool bar served fabulous lunch. The BBQ evening was exceptional value for money and top quality food.

Overall very good. Excellent location - short walk to the heart of old town. Nice pool area with plenty of beds and not reserved from 6am like in many hotels. Good breakfast. Spacious room, comfortable bed. Food and drink in the pool bar reasonably priced.

Slightly tired in places, typical place that is coming up to needing some updating touches but overall not affected our stay - we never stay in the same place twice but I would book again if I was in the area.

Superbe logement. Vraimenr très bien situé. Un parking gratuit. Logementun peu vétuste mais trèsagréable. On avait une magnifique vue sur la piscine et la ville de Tavira. Et le rooftop est vraiment top.

O quarto precisava de manutenções. As luzes não estavam a funcionar e o ar condicionado era muito velho. Não funcionava bem.

O pequeno almoço podia ter mais variedade de fruta e estar descascada. Laranja e kiwi em rodelas com casca, pouco prático. Também mais variedade de queijos. Quanto ao restante, tudo bom.

Hotel excelente com funcionários muito atenciosos, fica a 10 minutos a pé do centro de Tavira o que é bom para quem não quer acordar a meio da noite com o barulho. Pequeno almoço com muita variedade e tivemos a sorte de ter um upgrade de quarto para um com vista para a piscina o que tornou a experiência ainda mais incrível. Se algum dia voltar para Tavira é neste hotel que irei ficar 🤗

La ubicación es muy buena, a escasos 200 metros del centro de Tavira andando. Tiene un parking pequeño dentro del hotel, aunque si no hay sitio también puedes aparcar fuera fácil. Piscina y desayuno correctos. En la última planta tienen una terraza que para tomar un cóctel por la noche está muy bien.

no tenian plancha para lo ropa. El jacuzzi tienes que avisar para que ellos lo llenen. Sus trabajadores son muy atentos peor no saben español. Ademas habia muchos españoles.

Pour un hôtel où l’on vient avant tout pour se reposer, c’est particulièrement pénible. Autre point négatif : au petit-déjeuner, le piano est beaucoup trop fort. L’idée peut être agréable, mais à ce niveau sonore dès le matin, cela devient plus gênant que plaisant. Le plus décevant reste cependant notre départ. La réception nous demande comment s’est passé notre séjour : nous répondons simplement et sincèrement en expliquant les problèmes rencontrés. Au lieu de faire preuve d’empathie ou simplement de prendre en compte notre ressenti, la personne argumente et cherche à justifier la situation. Nous avons trouvé cela très peu commercial. Pour rester objectifs : la piscine est agréable, l’emplacement est bon et les serveurs ont été très sympathiques. Mais après 3 nuits sans pouvoir dormir correctement et une telle réaction de la réception au moment du départ, nous repartons malheureusement très déçus de l’AP Maria Nova Lounge.

Desayuno muy bueno, me sorprendió para bien. Mucha variedad y de calidad.

En el café e infusiones de cortesia, el recipiente no estaba limpio y había sobres abiertos de huéspedes anteriores.... y al día siguiente, la taza utilizada, ni lo abierto por mi, fue ni retirado ni limpiado.

O hotel é ótimo, o pequeno almoço é muito variado e com uma qualidade excelente. Os funcionários são extremamente atenciosos. Voltaremos com certeza

Nao Queria sair do hotel para jantar, pois estávamos a adorar o ambiente tranquilo do hotel e optamos por jantar no restaurante do hostel no sábado à noite. Ao iniciar o jantar, entrou um Grupo de talvez 30 pessoas que não estavam hospedados no hotel, um jantar de aniversário. Foi horrível, imenso barulho, eu nem conseguia conversar com a minha esposa, pior de tudo, foi quando vimos pessoas desse grupo no Buffet a tirarem comida com a mão. Foi horrível! Sugiro que coloquem estes Grupos em salas separadas, se assim fosse, esta situação não tinha sido extremamente desagradável para os hóspedes do hotel. Se não fosse esta desagradável situação, teria sido para mim e para a minha Esposa, uma estadia 5 estrelas.

La limpieza de la habitación no estuvo a la altura, desde el día que llegamos hasta que salimos el espejo del cuarto de baño estuvo sin limpiarse, con multitud de gotas y polvo así como la pantalla del tv y, qué decir de la suciedad que había acumulada por detrás de la puerta de entrada a la habitación. Y las tazas para infusiones o café en la habitación y vasos tb estaban sucios.

Wat een fantastisch hotel. Van aankomst tot vertrek is alles heel fijn verlopen, met 'n vlotte en vriendelijke service, heerlijke kamer met balkon, restaurants met heerlijke maaltijden... gewoonweg een zalig verblijf in een heel mooie stad met heel vriendelijke mensen.

A piscina exterior está mal posicionada e fica á sombra demasiado cedo. Tivemos um problema com a ventax do quarto de banho que nos caiu em cima. O hotel nem sequer teve uma atenção a este deslize da falta de manutenção.

Pool area was lovely, plenty of sun beds that were not taken over by towels. People didn’t reserve beds.

Good location away from the crowds and super views. The pool and restaurant were excellent. Comfortable bed and spacious room. Good breakfast choices available too. Both hotel managers were excellent understanding our concerns and dealing with them in a professional manner, thank you.

No cosmetic tissues. Shower leaked onto the floor. Terrace decking not fit for purpose, potentially dangerous and in dire need of repair. Reception staff were a little officious.

A good location in Tavira

Crowded pool with no available subbed and people packed in like sardines. When we arrived we were told that the rooftop bar would not be available due to a private function (not mentioned when booking a few days earlier), leaving only the pool bar available all evening. We left for a quieter option.

Breakfast was excellent. There were plenty of beds and shade around the pool. Views over Tavira to the sea were spectacular. Rooms were spacious and clean. Room safe was included. Large walk in shower. Roof top bar is worth a visit for dinner.

Free bottle of wine for stays of 5 nights or more was offered at the end of the stay rather than the beginning. We were hand luggage only so we couldn’t take advantage of the offer. Not really a problem, but a 10€ cash deposit was required for pool towels. The hotel is at the top of a hill which makes for great views but a bit of a slog getting home after dinner!

El desayuno muy rico y variado, con el detalle de tener un pianista tocando y un señor muy, pero que muy amable y atento en el acceso al restaurante del desayuno. La piscina y la terraza son también fantásticas. La ubicación muy cerca del centro, apenas 5 minutos a pie.

El DJ que pincha en vivo por las tardes en la terraza no estaba el segundo día (solo estuvimos dos noches).

The BBQ Friday vibe night the food was not up to standard and was too formal. The was no bottle of water on the room after the first night. The bar service in the roof top was very poor.

Clean, friendly, modern. We didn’t want for anything. It’s near the river and the town. The rooftop bar is great. Breakfast was good.

There’s a steep walk up a hill or steep steps to climb each time you come back up to the hotel. (But it makes for great views!)

I found the piano music at breakfast too sad - maybe it's just me, but I don't really want to listen to 'all the lonely people' on piano while I'm eating my breakfast.

Spa changing area wasn’t great. Pool towel deposit was cash only and needed a form filled in which seemed unnecessary.

The breakfast was excellent. Super selection of fresh food & absolutely loved the piano player every morning, wonderful treat! The location is great however there should be a mention of the very steep hill down to the Tavira & back up was very difficult for someone like myself with a serious underlying illness.

I didn't find the reception staff at all friendly and as mother and daughter holiday, calling out our room number loudly was not professional.

Good location, lovely rooftop bar for sundowners with attentive staff. Well organised breakfast area again with attentive staff.

The majority of the jets in the spa area were not working, the sauna was in need on simple maintenance. A water dispenser in the spa/gym area would have been nice to see. Plus in the spa area there was no space to relax between sauna/ steam sessions. In general a bit neglected this space, with very little effort on maintenance it could be much better. Reception staff were in my experience lacking in customer service skills, generally surly in attitude.
