Sanjis The Seaside Cabanas

Dobra lokalizacja

Stunning location, most amazing beach, very comfortable room with amazing outdoor shower, staff very kind, food was exceptional.

Nothing, a great stay.

We stayed for 2 nights at Sanjis and wished we would have stayed longer. Stunning location right at a beautiful long stretch of lonesome beach, surrounded by palm trees, visited by tropical birds and monkeys and equipped with everything you can wish for. A wonderful pool for everybody for whom the waves are too high to swim, very clean and tastefully decorated bungalows with comfy beds, great outdoor bathroom and private patio. The staff was incredible! Super friendly and helpful. We even got served dinner on the beach. The food, both dinner and breakfast were delicious. If you wanna stay at a paradise beach location away from all the hassle of the bigger south coast towns this is the place to stay! Highly recommended!

Keine AC

The biggest advantage is that the vila is located on the beach.

The location is perfect if you are looking for a quiet et naturally beautiful beach.

The overall experience was disappointing. The swimming pool was dirty, with cloudy and stagnant water, making it unusable—especially for children. The hotel is not well suited for families, as when the pool is not an option, the beach can be quite dangerous due to strong waves and powerful currents. The restaurant is another weak point. The food quality is poor; although the staff seem to try their best, they clearly lack the necessary skills. The included breakfast is very basic and offers little to no variety. Finally, an important aspect to highlight: despite the intense heat, there is no air conditioning in the rooms. The ceiling fans are noisy and not very effective. There is also no mini fridge, which makes it impossible to keep water cool or store fruits.

Stunning location, beautiful beach and lovely rooms (although we were lucky to be the front cabana, wouldn't really have wanted to be at the back near the gate)

Beautiful place right by the beach. Nice room and outdoor shower was great.

Wish I could have stayed for longer!

Lovely quiet place close to Beautiful sea, excellent for rest and recharging. Nice tastefully designed bungalows with a wicked eco ventilation system, works like airco ! Friendly staff, very friendly and helpful owner. The perfect peaceful spot if you want to rest, swim and read loads of books.

Nothing, everything was perfect

Sanjis is located on a stunning beach - quiet and unspoilt but with plenty of restaurants tucked amongst the palm trees. The sea has big waves so swimming is only suitable for strong swimmers. The staff were very friendly and the food was excellent. The rooms were comfortable, with gorgeous outdoor bathrooms and the gardens surrounding the rooms were beautiful. The outdoor restaurant area with the balcony above is very stylish. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place.

The rooms could be made a bit more stylish to bring them in line with the restaurant area, with an upgrade on the soft furnishings, such as towels and curtains and also could benefit from an improvement in the electrics - the plugs were old fashioned style and the lighting was limited. It didn't affect our stay but some small changes would elevate the place into a very stylish accommodation offering.

Pięknie położony, mały butikowy hotel, w którym gdzie goście szanują swoją prywatność i ciszę. Łazienki pod gołym niebem. Odgłos dudniącego oceanu, który kołysze do snu, a rano wybudza. Idealny do ucieczki przed światem.

Very nice clean room, comfy bed. Amazing outdoor shower, soap and shampoo provided, good ceiling fan. Towels and beach towels provided. Clean toilet room . Beach towels provided, son lounges for guests on beach with shade from trees. Beautiful garden and pool area

So me if the lights in the room didn't work. Not enough space to put suitcase etc. storage area behind bed impractical. Staff nice but dim with poor English. Breakfast was ok but nothing special. Evening meal was on the beach but complete disappointment food wise compared with the seven turtles next door. No bar area. Limited drinks with meal. I would eat elsewhere. If you want to eat in the evening you had to order it before 4pm to eat later.

very nicely located at the beach

pool seemed dirty very couldy water staff was a little lost and seemed a bit annoyed

Location at tranquil beach friendly staff, great room.

Breakfast could have been with a bit more choices. The temple chanting at 5am

We had a absolutely wonderful stay at Sanjis! The property itself is located on the beach with great views in every direction. The rooms were well sized with a awesome outdoor shower and a romantic canopied bed. The staff was exceptional, super friendly and attentive to our needs. Breakfast was exceptional. If you want a pleasant resort on a quiet beach meant for exploring youll love it here!

Could use a hot water kettle, a small broom for sand and a mini-fridge.

Excellent location right on the beach. Very peaceful. Lots of birds and monkeys about to keep you entertained. Could hear the sea from our room. Nice loungers in the shade under the trees. Possible to book trips around the nearest wetland reserve, lots of birds to see there.

Nothing.

Fantastiška vieta. Vandenynas ranka pasiekiamas. Baseinas. Wi-fi puikus. Kambarių tvarkymas. Labai draugiškas ir paslaugus kolektyvas. Ačiū Sanjit už rūpestį dėl mūsų vėluojančio bagažo.

Nėra oro kondicionieriaus. Reikėtu pusryčiams tiekti kokybiškesnę kavą.

Sanjis The seaside Cabanas havde en masse gode ting.

Great, thank you!!

The Sanjis was by far our favorite stay of our 3-week trip. The beach was relaxing and the staff was top tier. The owner, Sanji, is a personable guy who would always go out of his way during the day to ensure each guest was having a great time and that everything was to our liking. We enjoyed the Sanjis so much that we cancelled our other stays and extended our reservation by two more nights. If you’re looking for a relaxing beach vacation with excellent service, please do yourself a favor and book a stay at the Sanjis.

Quiet and peaceful. The cabana was so pretty and the outdoor shower was just such a lovely feature. The staff were very attentive, helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was delicious .. 4 courses served to the table. We enjoyed the pool area and the beach waves.

Maybe a fridge would be a good touch.

Nulla

beautiful location, beach with a minimum of people. It is an older hotel for undemanding tourists who do not expect normal standards. The hotel could use renovation. I appreciate the abundance of sun loungers on the beach. Good breakfast and compliments to the kitchen.

The room lacks a fridge and coffee and tea making facilities. They brought a small fridge on request. (they only have one for 8 bungalows). Personally, we consider this a mistake. We have comparisons from other hotels of the same category and here in Sri Lanka and in this area and I missed the care for the hotel's surroundings. It's a small thing, but the client will appreciate it when there is a groomed beach with sun loungers, for example. There is not enough storage space in the room. We didn't feel comfortable in the room, it was dark and deserved renovation.

We loved the location, the beach is just beautiful. There are some really nice restaurants around, and the food in the hotel was also good. The open bathroom was pretty okay if you are okay with frogs. The staff was fantastic, very lovely!

The location of the property right on the beach. Rooms are beautifully decorated, airy. Big fan of the outside bathroom! Staff were friendly and helpful (especially Sanji, who made the effort to speak to everyone at dinner and breakfast) The property is small and cozy. Loved it!

The cabanas are cute and cosy, the outdoor shower in the evenings was a treat, the scenery is breathtaking and the atmosphere and staff are truly magical

Very friendly staff and great chef as well

Owner & hotel policy.

The view and the beach was fantastic

The pool is without filtration, maximum 2 nights is enough - too far away for everything. An advise for the manager who was " full of him" - just go one time/month and see/learn how can your neighbors to have a good food (we eated every day to a different property and it was better and cheaper than yours )

We had a great time at Sanjis The Seaside Cabanas. The hotel feels like a little oasis with a lot of greenery and an amazing view of the ozean. The cabanas are spacious with a large terrace and a very comfortable bed. We also loved the outdoor bathroom where you could shower underneath the sky. The beach area is really quiet with just a few hotels along the coast. The ocean was quite rough, but we had a lot of fun in the waves. You have to be careful though. Overall, the hotel is quite far away from everything, so there are not a lot of activites around. If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing time, the hotel is just for you. There are some nice restaurants in short walking distance, but you can also have a nice dinner at the hotel.

This was actually the best place where we stayed during our 2 weeks holiday in sri lanka. Super cute apartments very good food. Staff was speaking perfect english. No crowd at the beach just the nature. We were sorry we needed to leave this gem

Mało środków ochrony przed komarami, mrówkami i meszkami

Velmi pekne nove ubytovanie. Krasny bazen so sprchami a lehatkami. Velmi čisté izby velke izby. Milí personál. Vybavia aj safari. Odporúčam. Dokonaly oddych. ❤️

Wifi nefungovala dobre.

Fantastic experience. Highly recommend. Felt exclusive

Personale accogliente, gentile e rispettoso La piscina è grande e i lettini comodi La stanza grande e pulitissima La doccia esterna un Plus incredibile 🥰 Colazione abbondante e buona

Zeer mooi ingerichte huisjes.

Very close to the beach . Nice pool. Helpful staff. Lovely outside shower area and nice outside verandah.

Food really needs improving…but there were very nice eateries close by. Some areas in urgent need of maintenance…eg decking round pool, bizarre electrics in rooms. Could have done with a/c….it was very hot

Rien

We had a very pleasant stay!! The staff and the owner were excellent and helpful and made sure we had a very enjoyable stay!!

The staff was super friendly, the overall space of the hotel is small but very comfortable, the food is very good and delicious, the pool is amazing. It's right on the beach. Great value for money.

The WiFi was not very good in the rooms, but it was bearable. The rest was just perfect.

The pool and beach area was very relaxing and beautiful. The young guy who works there was wonderful and happy to chat to us and help us out when we realised we left the outdoor bathroom door open.. so we accidentally let the wild monkeys in our room..! Remember to close those doors! Generally the place is really great if you want a couple of days downtime after travelling. The waves on the beach were too large and this is why having the pool was great.

The hotel is in quite a remote area along the coast so there aren't many places nearby to explore. This was fine for us as we just needed a few days to relax after travelling.

Wonderful Stay at Sanji’s The Seaside Cabanas I had a fantastic time at Sanji’s The Seaside Cabanas. The swimming pool was always clean and well-maintained, perfect for a relaxing dip. The bungalows are spacious, comfortable, and offer a great level of privacy. They served us wonderful, delicious Sri Lankan food, which we highly enjoyed. The beach is quiet, clean, and just a few steps away – ideal for unwinding and enjoying the peaceful surroundings.

Nothing, every think is fine.
