The property was very nice, the pool area is tremendous, and Leonor at the front desk was exceptional.

The front desk stage was very polite and atrentive to all the needs. The butler was excellent. The waiter outstanding especially the guy at the restaurant called El Barón he was outstanding in his service

Property was clean. Comfortable and the staff was very helpful and attentive. It was a great experience and I would recommend.

My stay was great from the moment of arrival. Leonor ( front desk staff) es la mejor! Beach area was great and close to everything you need. Great place for breakfast steps away from property.

The hotel was not in a good area. The hotel felt safe, and the the beach also felt safe, but I didn't like that you had to walk along the street from the hotel to get to the restaurant, the pool and the beach, there is no direct access from inside the hotel to the beach or pool itself. The food at the restaurant was very good, we enjoyed it, and the area around the pool and beachside area was well maintained and comfortable. There was no gym, despite being told on the first day that it was just closed until 8am, on the second day I was finally told that there was no gym and that I would have to walk to a nearby gym, which was not safe to do so. The staff in general were helpful, and the rooms were large and comfortable and very clean. The view from the balcony was lovely. The AC in the room was perfect!

The check-in with Leonor was great, she was very nice and friendly with me and my children, made sure we had waters and towels , always smiling and polite

The staff was very friendly and helpful at all times, the food from the restaurant was awesome. The problem I have is the pictures advertised is not what we met when we arrived. The room was not clean like they were not ready for us. Hair was found in the washroom and the room and balcony was dusty. The pool/beach was safe, I just hate the fact that we had to go outside of the hotel to access the pool and beach. The front of the hotel seems ghetto and scary, and we actually witnessed the police chasing an individual through the building opposite the hotel. The corner had lots of unpleasant characters, we didn't leave the hotel without an Uber picking us up, even if it was to the corner, and I live in Guyana lol. I was a bit disappointed, but the staff's hospitality made it easier to stay in the hotel.

The room I booked over two month ago was not longer available. I asked to speak to manager, not on ground. I requested a refund for diff. I haven’t heard back. Hotel Still under construction.

A good and safe place to repeat a pleasant stay with family or along .

Misleading listing. Not what’s advertised. The room did not match the pictures. These are not true suites but rather small apartments. The reception area is different from what’s shown online, and there is only one restaurant (no bar or coffee bar as advertised). The hotel is NOT directly connected to the pool area. It appears that a common access area that connected the reception to the beach/pool was removed to make more rooms. To reach the beach or pool, you have to exit the building and go around the hotel. There was construction all throughout the hotel. The elevator was squeaking a lot and it marked the wrong floors. Pool was murky. The towels are literally counted, we asked for more and they said we had to switch the dirty one for a clean one. On weekends the place is packed of people who are not staying at the hotel. We got a “deluxe suite” but the only thing they took into account was the sea view. The kitchen was actually just a 2-stove burner that you use for camping and a microwave. No pans or pots. The checkout time said 12:00pm in Expedia and they knocked our door at 11:20am to kick us out. I showed them the check-out time on Expedia and the lady on reception said “Oh, we need to change that.” There are many vendors trying to sell you things at the beach. If you are a woman, you will get catcalled a lot. The only positive note is that staff was always nice and the food was good, as usual with dominican food.

First trip To DR and was worth it , being bilingual helped out I still needed assistance. If there is no language barrier. English only speaking may have difficulties . The stay was great see you soon again. Loved it…From estados unidos loved it!

The front desk agent was very nice and pleasant. However I was told that the the Credit card machine wasn’t working. And when I went to check out there was no front desk agent available. When I booked the room on Expedia I booked it as an all exclusive hotel but this place is no an all inclusive. This place is way too expensive and not worth half of the price they charge. The main bed was very cheep and uncomfortable.

I love that it is located on the beach. I wish they advised what time they close the beach entrence. Towels was an issue throughout the experience. Also, the food was not the best. I was surprised their food was so flavorless being it’s located in a country that takes pride in flavorful food. This is not a beach to go relax at. This is legit a party beach. It was a blast though!! I also didn’t appreciate that on their beach property so many people can pitch us sales. The outdoor service is also not the best . I once was out there for hours with no one offering me not even water. When I decided to accept food sold to me outside they approached me about it. Overall, it’s a cute location and a decent bang for your buck.

Boca Chica is an horrible and dangerous place , before all fir the women ...There is nothing to do , impossible to go out from the other , it s to dangerous ...all is dilapidated , no road for walking etc ...In the hotel there is no service , no phone in the room , small air conditionned , lights does not work , no towels in the bathroom and no beach towels at the pool ....it s not really an hotel ...they are nice but all is difficult ....same thing to get a taxi

The location is very convenient. It's great for those travelers who want to get away from the city life. All around lighting ciuld be improved.

We stayed here in the past and unfortunately this is no longer a full service hotel. We were very disappointed. The location is great but for the price paid this property was not maintained well, room ready but not clean, no dishes, etc.

The stay was great. But there was so much that could have been better. Starting with the amenities. First off, there was no towels in the hotel room at all and each day we had to ask the front desk for some because house keeping wasn’t stocking them at all… then to top it off. Toilet paper which of course is always needed. Most of the staff was great to ensure we got what we needed after asking for it. However, SOME of the staff for the restaurant ( waitresses) were not great as well. One of the nights I went down to eat all I wanted was an appetizer and waited and hour .. after approaching the front desk for the waitress to tell me she believes the kitchen gave my appetizer to someone else.. not only did she not wait for me to go complain but she didn’t offer me a solution. She then came with the wrong appetizer which just at this point made me furious so I decided I didn’t want it after all… that specific waitress gave me issues multiple times. The other waitresses were great. This place would have been 5 stars, but unfortunately it does need some improvement. Overall it was a good stay, but I don’t think I would be staying here again.

The staff was very accommodating from Diego at the front desk, waiters, security John extremely polite, on lunch I asked for an avocado they didn’t have it and the waiter went outside the hotel, bought one for me with his own money and served beautifully

Staff and food was great

You get what you pay for, so that's that. Below are my pros and cons: Pros: 1- Rooms facing the beachfront are much nicer. 2- Staff are friendly and accommodating. 3- You get breakfast included. 4- The breeze from the beach is nice. Cons: 1- The area surrounding the hotel is sketchy. 2- Prostitution is prevalent and it seems like hotel workers accommodate these operations with clients. Not my kind of vibe. 3- You cannot sit on the beach without being constantly harassed by hustlers pushing their products on you. 4- The beach was dirty. 5- No hot shower. 6- Everything seems like a hustle, even in the restaurant inside the hotel, so you have to make sure to ask as many questions as possible to know what you are paying for. 7- Also, depending on the room, you may get an ant infested room. I changed my room three times before getting a decent room. When I talked with the staff about the rooms, they seemed to be nonchalant about it, but at the same time, they were helpful. With all that, I made the best of the situation and tried to enjoy my time. If you are truly looking for a nice beach, all-inclusive, perhaps try Punta Cana. If you don't mind chatting with the locals, purchasing items on the beach, and paying a lower fee for a hotel, then book this hotel. It is close to the Santo Domingo airport, which is also a perk. I don't think I'll come back because I would rather pay more to get a more peaceful vacation, but as I said, you get what you pay for.

The rooms had no chairs to sit on the no table/desk to work on. There was only 1 towel in the bathroom the safe didn't work, the closet was a cabinet like ones you buy at home depot with 1 hanger. Teh arrival area is a Neiborhood that is very dirty and croweded.

This place is excellent. Staff is genuinely courteous, Everything is new .room are beautiful. When entering thru the street seems a bit messy (the street) But once you get in front of the property the security, the place it is amazing. Breakfasts included. If anything i would add free non alcoholic beverages all day.

It was beautiful right on the beach so many restaurants and fun things to do beware or people trying to hassle you tho but that’s what made it real and fun .

Limited hot water. Towels were not always available. But, great view of the beach.

The hotel is lovely! I agree that the area around the hotel is very sketchy. The room was excellent size & the view was amazing. The negative of my room is: no soap in the bathroom, no blow dryer, no desk (which was much needed, since I was working) & the shower head was broken. But, the hotel is the best in the area.

The property is nice rooms are spacious. Location is great...Just needs to improve amenities like soap shampoo conditioning more towels in the room. We had to ask for them.

The staff was very accommodating. The room we were in —the air conditioning wasn’t working and the tv wasn’t either. Had to be moved to another room but it was only with one bed instead of two. They were updating the property when I was there tho. Promising future visits hopefully as conditions improve.

Rooms are nothing like pictures shown. Hotel is in the middle of a very poor community lack of police presence it felt unsafe. Hallways are dark.

The hotel was good. The area around the hotel was horrible and not recommended for anyone. There are more suitable areas in Boca Chica that I would have preferred to say in.

Restaurants on beach are good but hotel room and conditions are not up to par. To get to the actual hotel is very hood. TV tiny...balcony is super hot because of ac unit....it was just not good

Loved the property and the staff. The surrounding area was not family friendly.

Upon checking they gave was unclean room with no towels The TV and the room phone don't work. When I asked to change the rooms or fixed the TV and the phone. They said they only had ocean view with a additional of 57$ however they charged my credits card $87 theTV and the phone still not functioned they still had my money which is not fair. They only good things about this hotels Some of the staffs are nice.

The reception staff were helpful. The wait staff/bartenders were excellent! (The ones who spoke English). Rooms were spartan. Nothing on the walls, no clock, minimal towels and toiletries provided. The junior suite was nothing more than a room with a queen & twin bed.

Close to the beach and lots of restaurants nearby. The staff was very nice and helpful.

The property is very colonial, like you would expect in that area, and very well kept. The service, while a little slow, is still attentive. Overall, it was a good experience, but faster service and better mattresses would make it the perfect spot in zona colonial.

The view from hotel room was excellent. The beach bar next door was good. The hotel service was terrible. Asking for towels took multiple requests and time. The staff at the restaurant gives you funny looks when asking for a second cup of coffee. Walking 3 blocks down the beach from hotel or towards town was a sight that you would not want to see...very run down conditions... The experience was so bad that I decided to leave a day earlier and took a loss of hotel cost.

The rooms are just plain white walls -- not even a single inch of color in the room. How could there not be a single portrait of a dog, a bird, a cat, anything in the room?

The property is good

The staff was VERY friendly and available for any needs. I felt safe with security at the front and beach side. Security was friendly and I was able to trust my belongings as I went into the beach. There are street vendors that go by as you are laying but respected when I declined their services. The private beach area was kept very clean as well. I would advise against the extra sofa bed, as it needs updated, but other than that the ocean from room was spacious and clean and views were amazing. We also had their fried fish and I highly recommend. Great piña coladas as well!

I stayed here in 2018 before the construction was complete I had a suite for way cheaper than this room. The hotel itself has a old and run down feeling. I was way nicer in 2018 i will not be staying here again

The television was not working the first night; no trash can in the room; dirty face cloth in bathroom; the mattress need to be changed out; elevator dirty and spotty. The hotel conditions are getting worst since two years ago (2019). It appears that don't seem to care anymore. Security staff was awesome as well as the waiters in the restaurant.
