Review for Aparta Hotel Azzurra, Boca Chica I had a nice stay at Aparta Hotel Azzurra. The staff was friendly and very accommodating, which made the experience feel welcoming. My room was clean and conveniently located just a few steps from the pool — a definite plus. The only downside was the lack of WiFi, which would have made the stay even better. Overall, a cool and relaxing spot in Boca Chica.

Hotel bonito pero la zona insegura, mejor no salimos de noche, mucho ruido, muchos bares a los alrededores, si es para descanso y en plan familiar no recomiendo este hotel

The hotel staff was nice and helpful and the room was clean. The area is not very clean on the streets before the beach but, the beach area was fairly clean. The breakfast at the hotel was good with some variety. It was a good hotel for the price.

La mejor experiencia en Bayahibe, la señora Angela es una persona muy linda y su equipo muy atentos en todo momento, super recomendable.

Sehr gut gelegenes, (10 min vom Flughafen mit Taxi), Strand mit zahlreichen landestypischen Lokalen/Bars zu Fuß 3 Minuten, Supermarkt in 5 min Entfernung. Einfache Einrichtung mit allem Erforderlichen, sauber, Frühstücksauswahl verschiedener Eiergerichte oder auch Süßspeisen, immer mit Früchteteller. Lokale Busse mit Bedarfshalt nach Santo Domingo und Busbahnhof Los Americanas an der nächsten Querstraße. Betreiber ist steht‘s erfolgreich bemüht alle Wünsche und Fragen zu erfüllen. Insofern gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis!

very old - tried to relax on the patio - old worn- out plastic chair broke under me. I hurt my arm and scraped myself. I’m US I probably would have a solid case for an injury lawsuit- but instead I had to pay to replace a chair that couldn’t have been any less than 20 years old.

Hospedaje cómodo, excelente servicio por parte del equipo. Buen desayuno a la carta. Edificio un poco antiguo pero cumple con lo necesario para pasar una estancia tranquila y amena.

Great hotel to stay at in fair price and service staff is very good. The free breakfast is most appreciated and good option choices to choose from. Balcony was also lovely extra besides outside pool. Shower has also warm water being very nice and comfortable.

Liked how quiet and overall service is would definitely recommend to anyone who needs a place to stay.

Staff are extremeley friendly and helpful. Breakfast options were the same each day but there is enough variety. We stayed 7 days - 3 teenagers included in party of 4 and it was great. Everything is close

I don’t know the area well so I can’t comment about safety but the doors did not have a security latch. The electricity went out for 4 hours before I left. Won’t return to this place although the manager was trying to be helpful.

Sehr schäbiges Hotel, hunde Fäkalien vor der Zimmertür, die putzfrau hat so gut geputzt das auch gleich mein Taback im wert von 72 sfr. auf dem Balkon weggeworfen wurde... personal kann nur schlecht Englisch mehr mit hand und fuss waren aber freundlich. Der Manager des Hotels selber ist alles andere als Freindlich. Nie mehr Danke

This property Azzurra Aparta Hotel is not the best. It is very close to the beach and the night life also SDQ airport is close, that is all that is good about it. The front desk staff are not helpful at all. The rooms are not that new or great. The AC is very low and cannot be adjusted. Do not stay more than two days max.

The place is way outdated and had to many mosquitoes.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. For the price you can’t beat it. I will stay there again. The staff was nice except for one front desk female who was not friendly at all. She did her job but she wasn’t a front desk person at all. The pool got a little noisy but it ended early enough to sleep. Overall great stay.

The positive: The staff was friendly. Close to the beach. The negative: The rooms were old. The AC didn’t work well. The location did not feel that secure. Food was not good at the hotel

El lugar es bonito, el dueño es muy amable, muy higiénico todo, para el precio que tienen todo es excelente

El servicio de recepción fue muy malo, me Asignaron una habitación dentro del apartamento y la segunda habitación estaba ocupada por otra persona con aspecto no muy agradable. El hotel no tiene ascensor y me asignaron el segundo piso por lo que tuve q subir las maletas por las escaleras. La ducha del baño no funcionaba. En resumen una muy mala experiencia, no se lo recomiendo a nadie, a menos que no haya otra opción.

Me and my husband stayed here our last night in DR. We were looking for a short stay near the airport. Checking in at 6:00pm and leaving at 3:00am for our flight. We wanted to save money and this looked from the pictures like it could be decent. It was AWFUL. It was not safe, they only took cash, the area was completely deserted and had very little dining options. To top it all off no Ubers would do pick ups here so we got a taxi through the hotel. It was very close to the airport, the hotel said the taxi would be very little... The Taxi driver refused to share the price and kept saying don't worry it's a little you have enough... Then he proceeded to charge us $40 US DOLLARS for a 2 mile ride... Save yourself the hassle, spend a little more, and DO NOT STAY HERE.

No WiFi, electricity cutting off constantly, ac was poor. Locks flimsy. Tv hard to figure out water pressure at times poor

We arrived late into our hotel because our flight arrived late. Checked in the hotel at 11 p.m. and had no issues checking in. The front desk doesn't really speak very good English but I already downloaded "Google Translate" on my phone and if I had a question I just typed it on my phone and it would translate it to Spanish. We got situated in our room which had 3 double beds. The room was clean. We only stayed one night which is what I would recommend. Our room did have a small kitchenet off the room which was a plus but we didn't use it. The only downfall was the bathroom drain in the shower didn't really drain properly. If you are staying for one night, it is fine but longer I would not recommend. We did have the continental breakfast which was really good. They were friendly and curious regardless of the small language barrier. It is defiantly one of the nicer hotels in that area. Every other hotel/apartment isn't as nice as this one. I would come back if it was just for one night. We transferred to our resort the next day. Check out was a breeze and thank you again for a great short stay! PS If you don't get a Wifi code during check in, you can ask the front desk. I had to ask with Google Translate but they understood what I was asking.

The Customer service and Staff was Excellent...They were helpful and spoke good English for me to communicate. Breakfast waa Tasty.

Nice staffs but expensive for its conditions. Location in a very bad area, outdated furniture, poor cleanliness, bathroom with broken facets. Not appropriate for family and kids.

The property was ideally situated in Boca Chica. Close to the beach and bars etc. No one in the hotel understands English though, so make sure you take Google Translate on your phone and you will be fine.

It was a very good experience. The service rendered at the hotel was a very good one. Always there for you when you need something to be done. Very nice environment, Good security and just a 2 minute walk to the beach. I will stay in the same hotel when next I visit.

Where can I start!? Wow, I felt like crying when we got there. The owner does not have great skills of communication, we spoke to him when we got there and he barely responded in a rude and careless way. Then he made us wait for his assistant which was adorable! If it wasn't for her we wouldn't have stayed. The location is great, however we didn't know what we were getting into, when visiting Boca Chica. There is sooo much prostitution that it makes you not to want to come back. Going back to the hotel, I will never return there. We where going to leave after we paid because the room that they assigned us was dirty, stinky and no air conditioner. Then we where shown a second room which was slightly better but since It was 3 of us, we didn't stay. At last they assigned us an ''ok'' room, with A/C and much cleaner aspect. Breakfast was a mission, but we didn't get food poison so I guess it wasn't that bad. Everything is out dated and dirty. DO NOT VISIT!

Is good for sleep and continue the other day. But is clean and good for staying many days because have kitchen and good A/C
