El Nakhil Hotel

Our stay in El Nakhil hotel was perfect! Very spacious, clean and comfortable rooms/bathroom. There's also a big, clean and refreshing pool that we really enjoyed. The staff is really nice (kind regards to Abdul, Adam, Mahmoud and all the boys!) and they care about you. Good breakfast. The hotel also works with a driver (Abdullah), who efficiently organised everything for us and he was also really honest and caring. He provided a qualified Egyptologist guide (Ahmed) who was also really nice and explained everything very well to us. They all really made our stay in Luxor really enjoyable!!

Wi fi was good, swimming pool is nice. Room was clean and staff is polite and helpful. Manager offered early check in and late check out for little extra payment

Hotel piccolo a gestione famigliare immerso proprio nella vita egiziana. Colazione solo egiziana preparata al momento e dalla riva opposta rispetto al tempio e ai ristoranti, però con 200 lire si attraversa il Nilo in barca in 5 minuti

El alojamiento se localiza en la parte oeste de Lúxor, mucho más tranquila. El hotel está estupendo calidad-precio. Puedes cruzar a la zona este en taxi o ferry (25EGP). Tiene unas instalaciones muy bonitas, la piscina es muy acogedora y todo el personal es muy amable y se preocupa constantemente de tu comodidad y te ayuda en lo que necesites.

J’ai passé le meilleur séjour de tout mon road trip dans cet établissement. Je vous le recommande très fortement, la chambre est très propre et relaxante, l’endroit est calme, toute l’équipe est gentille et au petit soin, prêt à vous aider, proche du ferry pour aller dans la partie Est, excellent cuisine et petit déjeuner sur place, piscine très agréable, bref tout était parfait.

L’hôtel est idéalement situé, dans un environnement calme et proche de l’embarcadère pour se rendre sur l’autre rive. Magnifique jardin et superbe piscine. Le restaurant est très bon. Le personnel est adorable et très disponible. Un grand merci à toute l’équipe, nous avons passé un séjour au top grâce à vous!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Un immense merci à Abdellah, qui a parfaitement organisé notre séjour. Il a toujours été très réactif, disponible et d'une grande gentillesse, toujours avec le sourire. Grâce à lui, tout s'est déroulé sans le moindre souci. Toute l'équipe de l'hôtel a été très accueillante et sympathique. L'hôtel est bien situé, pratique pour visiter les principaux sites de Louxor. Mention spéciale au restaurant : les chawarmas sont tout simplement délicieux, nous nous sommes régalés ! Merci à toute l'équipe pour votre accueil

Excellent ! Le personnel est adorable, extrêmement accueillant et serviable. Ils sont vraiment polis et gentils. Mention spéciale pour Abdallah qui nous a donné de très bonnes adresses pour le felluca, coiffeur, visites et transports.

Le restaurant était un petit peu long au service, mais ça valait vraiment la peine d’être un peu patient. C’est délicieux !

Die Hotel Abholung am Flughafen, sowie auch die später Fahrt zurück zum Rückflug verlief absolut reibungslos und unkompliziert. Die Lage des Hotels eignet sich gut um die Sehenswürdigkeiten von Luxor zu erkunden. Das Hotel befindet sich in einer ruhigen Nebenstraße. An der Hauptstraße gibt es jedoch ausreichend Einkaufsmöglichkeiten für Essen und Getränke. Das Hotel war für uns nach den Tagesausflügen dank den großen Pools und dem vielen Grün im Innenhof wie eine Oase, in der man den Tag gut ausklingen lassen konnte. Das Zimmer war groß und geräumig. Die Möbel waren zwar nicht mehr die neusten und hatten auch schon entsprechende Gebrauchsspuren, waren jedoch absolut ausreichend. Auch das Bad war im Vergleich zu unserem letzten Hotel sehr groß. Jedes Hotelzimmer verfügt zusätzlich über einen Balkon oder eine Terrasse. Die Klimaanlage, sowie auch der zusätzliche Ventilator funktionierten einwandfrei. Das Hotel Personal war super freundlich und Hilfsbereit bei Fragen zwecks Ausflügen und co. Auch das Essen im Hotel eigenen Restaurant war sehr gut und auch preislich sehr günstig.

Das Hotel WLAN war leider während unseres gesamten Aufenthaltes nicht wirklich nutzbar. Entweder funktionierte es gar nicht oder es war nicht im kompletten Hotel / Zimmer nutzbar. In den Zimmern gibt es keinen TV Das inkludierte Frühstück war leider sehr überschaubar und einseitig, da es hier ein "fixes" Menü und kein Buffet gibt. Das Frühstück bestand so jeden morgen aus Tee / Kaffee, Brot, Omlet und Johgurt.

L’établissement est calme à trois minutes à pieds de l’embarcadère pour louxor est et des taxis pour louxor ouest (vallée des rois, vallée des nobles, temple d’hatchepsout). Le resto est excellent et à un prix correct avec de la nourriture égyptienne classique mais bien faite. La piscine est un gros plus après la chaleur des visites. Le propriétaire est très prévenant et l’accueil est professionnel.

l’attente est un peu longue au restaurant mais c’est un gage de qualité pour la nourriture préparée à la demande.

The location was great, quiet but still close to shops and the river. The food in the restaurant was really nice (moussaka was genuinely incredible). Staff were friendly and super helpful. Tours organised by the hotel were good, lots of flexibility on finding stuff that worked for us.

Hôtel au calme, confortable et très propre. Le personnel est discret et efficaces. Les plats proposés au restaurant sont délicieux. Très bon petit déjeuné. A 5min à pied du ferry pour rejoindre la rive Est du Nil, et déjà du bon côté pour faire toutes le visites de la rive Ouest.

L’hôtel est bien placé à 5 minutes du ferry pier. Pratique pour visiter les temples de la rive Est et la vallée des rois. La terrasse est calme et offre une belle vue. Bon petit dej. Tout était top !

„Das Personal ist ausgesprochen hilfsbereit und freundlich. Und damit meine ich ausdrücklich sowohl die Besitzerfamilie als auch Gärtner, Putzkräfte und alle anderen Bediensteten. Die Lage 3 Fußminuten entfernt vom Nil und nahe beim Fähranleger ist sehr zentral und praktisch bei allen Ausflügen. Man muss zwar kurz durch eine sehr untouristische Straße durchlaufen, um zum Hotel zu kommen, da mag nachts der eine oder andere etwas fremdeln, es ist aber völlig unproblematisch, die Leute sind alle sehr nett und grüßen freundlich oder beachten einen gar nicht. Der Lohn dafür ist absolute Ruhe vom Hauptstraßenlärm, dem die meisten Hotels auf der Westseite des Nils wohl ausgesetzt sind. Es lohnt sich, das Hotel ist eine Ruhe-Oase in zentraler Lage. Der Pool ist tipptopp gepflegt und in einen schönen Innenhof gelegen, ideal für ein kurzes Bad vor dem Frühstück oder natürlich und vor allem dann, wenn man erschöpft und verschwitzt vom Sightseeing heimkehrt und vor dem Gang zum Abendessen im Hotel oder außerhalb ein einem der Restaurants am Nil noch ein Badepause einlegen will. Die Ausstattung des Zimmers ist prima, neben der Klimaanlage, die ich nicht anhatte, gab es auch einen Deckenventilator, der viel mehr Flair hatte. Steckdosen sind zahlreich vorhanden. Das Bad war sauber und gut ausgestattet, der Duschvorhang ist etwas knapp und klebt einem stets am Körper fest, aber das nur nebenbei. Die Betten waren ausgezeichnet und bequem. Auch die Abholung vom Flughafen war überpünktlich und zuverlässig.

Das Frühstück war sehr liebevoll vorbereitet und es gab Falafel, Fladenbrot, einen weißen Streichkäse, Marmelade und Honig sowie weißes Joghurt, ein Omelett und eine Banane, , Tee/ Kaffee (allerdings ist leider es stets und immer exakt dasselbe), Aber: Tee heißt Teebeutel, Kaffee heißt angerührtes Nescafe-Pulver, mehr nicht. Nicht so sehr meine Sache. Das müsste aber nicht sein, in Restaurants und Bars habe ich das in diesem Urlaub auch ganz anders erlebt. Wasserkocher mit Tee und Kaffee im Zimmer gibt es leider nicht. An der Außenwand meines Zimmer waren 3 Klimaanlagen befestigt. Meine war aus, aber eine der beiden anderen lief leider nachts immer mal wieder und das war ziemlich laut in meinem Zimmer, so dass ich dann Ohrenstöpsel brauchte. Also alles nur Kleinigkeiten. Ich würde sagen: 9,5 Punkte. Aber da bei booking gerundet werden "muss": Dann eben 10

La chambre était propre et le guide touristique était gentil. Ils nous ont proposé un changement de chambre. Heureusement que Youssef était là et le restaurant était très bon aussi.

Nous avons choisi cet hôtel au vu des commentaires positifs, mais notre expérience a été très loin des attentes. Nous avons séjourné deux nuits à l’hôtel El Nakhil Hotel, où nous étions d’ailleurs les seuls clients, ce qui rend certains manquements encore plus incompréhensibles. Le transfert aéroport et l’excursion réservée via l’hôtel (85 €) se sont faits dans un véhicule en très mauvais état (coffre ne fermant pas). Le guide était gentil, mais peu impliqué. La chambre avait malheureusement beaucoup des dysfonctionnements (sur 2 jours): pas d’eau chaude, douche défectueuse, lavabo bouché, puis fuite du ballon d’eau chaude et robinet laissé ouvert. Malgré plusieurs interventions, la situation a empiré jusqu’à une salle de bain inondée après la dernière réparation mal effectuée. Par contre la chambre était propre, et le personnel nous a proposé de changer de chambre, mais avons préféré rester car ils nous ont assuré pouvoir réparer les problèmes. Aucune eau potable n’était disponible dans la chambre, ce qui est un minimum attendu. La gestion des plaintes a été insuffisante, avec un geste commercial dérisoire au regard des nombreux désagréments. Le propriétaire était très peu compréhensif avec une mauvaise réaction lors de notre réclamation. Le plus choquant reste le départ : aucun membre du personnel présent pour nous saluer ou assurer un minimum de service. Pour un hôtel, cela est tout simplement inacceptable. En résumé, malgré quelques bonnes intentions (guide aimable, proposition de changement de chambre, Youssef et la cuisine du restaurant), nous sommes très déçus de notre séjour.

Nous sommes arrivés à Louxor en dehors des heures de check in (23h), Abdallah est venu nous chercher en voiture pour nous amener à l’hôtel. Il avait aussi prévu de quoi dîner alors que le restaurant fermait à 22h (le restaurant n’est vraiment pas cher et très bon). Le personnel est très arrangeant, aimable et accueillant. L’hôtel est très bien placé, proche de la vallée des rois et des reines, dans un quartier calme. La piscine est un grand plus. Un grand merci à Youssef pour la box petit-déjeuner qu’il nous a préparé alors que nous avions une excursion à 3h30 du matin. L’hôtel nous a aussi booké une excursion transfert en chauffeur privé de Louxor à Hurghada, avec un chauffeur et une voiture au top.

All Staff made us feel so welcome. Special thanks to Yusef and Abdullah who went above and beyond. To the cleaning staff who made daily towel sculptures on our beds, thank you it made our daughters day. The team made us feel part of the the family. So glad we choose to stay in the friendly village feel of the West Bank which was nice to retreat to after a busy sight seeing day in the hustle and bustle of the city feel of the East Bank. Such genuine people who want to make your visit special. Excellent value for money and highly recommend. Thank you for your hospitality.

Die Lage nah zum Nil, der tolle Pool, das leckere Frühstück, die beiden Schildkröten. Ganz besonders wollen uns bei Abdullah bedanken. Er hat uns von anfang an unglaublich gut betreut. Ich war davor bereits 5 mal in Ägypten, aber so loyal war noch kein Guide. Kein ,,besuchen Sie diesen Shop,, und so. Ein ,,biite nicht,, wurde akzeptiert. Vielen Dank Abdullah!!

Es handelt sich um eine sehr schöne Hotelanlage mit einem schönen Poolbereich und vielen Grünpflanzen. Es ist auch sehr ruhig hier, da es keinen Durchgangsverkehr gibt. Die Zimmer und Badezimmer sind groß. Es gibt eine Klimaanlage, einen Ventilator und einen kleinen Kühlschrank. Vor dem Hotelzimmer gab es einen Tisch und einen kleinen Sitzbereich. Eines der Hotelzimmer war für Rollstuhlfahrer geeignet und verfügte über eine behindertengerechte Toilette. Leider gab es keinen Wasserkocher. Das WLAN hat in allen Bereichen gut funktioniert. Alles war sehr sauber und wurde regelmäßig geputzt. Gerne möchte ich das Restaurant erwähnen, in dem wir immer zu Abend gegessen haben. Die gute Auswahl an Speisen war preiswert und hat uns jedes Mal sehr gut geschmeckt. Der Service war schnell und sehr freundlich. Die Kommunikation auf Englisch hat sehr gut funktioniert. Besonders erwähnen möchte ich den Hotel- und Eventmanager Abdallah. Er hat uns gut beraten und viele Ausflüge organisiert. Alles hat gut und pünktlich funktioniert. Die Preise für die Ausflüge waren teilweise besser als bei GetYourGuide. Gerne empfehle ich dieses Hotel meinen Freunden weiter.

The location is out of the huddle and bustle of the city center, that can be reached with a quick boat crossing ride. The rooms are clean and spacious. The bathroom is ok, hot and good pressure of water, even if with the shower with plastic curtain is easy to flood the bathroom. We also had dinner at the hotel and the food was really good and cheap. The contact via whatsapp with the manager has been smooth and they help us organize a guided trip to Dendera and Abydos. We really enjoyed our trip with the English speaking guide and driver. Overall the quality/price ratio is great.

La tranquillità e l'ospitalità della struttura. Peccato non aver sfruttato tutti i servizi (piscina, riatorante interno) ma appunto a Luxor c'è così tanto da vedere che abbiamo prevalentemente dormito e fatto colazione in terrazza. Abbiamo apprezzato il fatto che fosse sulla West Bank che forse è la parte più autentica e rurale di Luxor.

Très bonne gestion de cet hôtel par Monsieur Khairy et Abdullah. C'est un hôtel de taille moyenne au cœur d'un quartier populaire. Formidable service de tout le personnel Youssef, Mohamed et tous les jeunes. La cuisine est excellente, l'entretien est très bien maintenu toutes les chambres et salles sont propres. Hôtel très bien situé sur la rive ouest, où on est à moins de 5 km de la vallée des rois, de la vallée des reines, du temple d'Hatchepsout, etc... Le ferry pour accéder à la rive Est n'est qu'à 5 min à pied d'où on peut se rendre aux magnifiques temples de Louxor et de Karnak. Le personnel de l'hôtel est très accueillant et les repas du soir sont délicieux avec des prix très doux !

Hôtel très bien placé, de l’autre côté de la rive, face au temple de Louxor, moins bruyant que dans la ville. Plein de petits restaurants autours avec vue sur le Nil et le temple de Louxor. Hôtel très propre, grandes chambres confortables, personnel aux petits soins. Belle piscine au calme bien qu’un peu froide en Janvier! Le restaurant est bon , l’ambiance un peu triste le soir, et ne sert pas d’alcool. Emplacement idéal pour rejoindre rapidement les sites historiques, plein de taxis disponibles à ´quelques minutes à pied de l’hôtel. Bateaux ou bac à 5mn à pied pour joindre l’autre rive.

The hotel was everything that we needed and more. The kids loved and dived into the swimming pool as soon as we reached. Location is fantastic and very near to the ferry station, shops and restaurants. The rooms were clean and fabulous, the hotel itself well taken care of with a beautiful garden. The terrace restaurant food was so delicious that we ended up eating there on all the days we were staying. Good breakfast every morning. Friendly staff and manager, he suggested trips and local sightseeing arrangements though we ended up doing on our own as we had already booked. The owner met us on the last day and arranged for a taxi to the airport. All in all a very great stay at El Nakhil. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Luxor.

The staff were extremely helpful. I was a lone frmale traveller and felt completely comfortable here. The hotel is s 5 min walk from the edge of the nile, a 100egp will take you across to the temples and the bus station. I hitched a ride with one of the hotel managers on his motorbike as running late for bus. So helpful and v funny! I wouls stay here again when in Luxor...

Ottima la posizione dell'hotel in una zona tranquilla e vicina al Nilo. Una bella camera luminosa con affaccio sul giardino e la piscina. Bella la terrazza per la colazione e la cena. Impeccabile il personale soprattutto Abdullah. Mi ha aiutato moltissimo per organizzare al meglio le mie attività a Luxor ed il viaggio in macchina verso Aswan. Disponibile e gentile senza essere mai invadente. Un ragazzo di qualità. Se dovessi tornare a Luxor sicuramente sceglierei di nuovo questo hotel.

El Nakhil is a fantastic hotel. The service and facilities were great, and the food we had at the restaurant was some of the best of our Egypt trip - try the garlic bread! Abdallah took good care of organising anything else we wanted (trips, felucca, drivers etc). It is also located on the West Bank, which is much quieter and more peaceful than the more tourist-heavy East Bank. Would highly recommend.

I stayed at this hotel twice - once before my Nile cruise and I chose to come back here after the cruise too. I liked that this hotel was close to the centre of the town and very close to the passenger ferry across to the east bank, but also tucked away from the busy main road. The hotel was clean and the rooms were very nice, with beautiful wall paintings inspired by the paintings in the tombs nearby. The restaurant was very nice, the pool was great too. Abdallah the hotel manager was great, arranging for airport pick ups and drop offs, and driving me out to visit the valley of the Nobles (100% worth a visit if you had the chance, just bring plenty of 50s as tips for the various tomb guards - and you need a guide too). He was always available to help me find things in town and a super friendly guy.

Nothing - it’s a lovely little hotel and if I’m here again I’ll come straight back.

salle de bain inondée de plusieurs centimètres d’eau lors de la prise d’une douche meme avec le rideau dans la baignoire.. la baignoire est extrêmement exiguë, la bonde défectueuse. Le manager n’est jamais là ce qui n’est pas pratique..

客人不知道如何调节花洒，洗澡不是很方便；可以配备吹风机。

We enjoyed our four nights at El Nakhil. The hotel is quiet and comfortable with a nice swimming pool and delightful staff who looked after us very well. The restaurant serves some great dishes, we particularly liked moussaka and kofta. The hotel provided a pick up from the airport for only $10. Breakfast was included and was good and filling. There was always some friendly and helpful staff on hand to assist us.

The bed was a little bit saggy but OK for sleeping. We could have done with an extra light in our room.

Cet hôtel a un excellent rapport qualité prix : la chambre est spacieuse et propre, la restauration est bonne (en particulier les salades), le personnel est attentionné, il est placé à proximité du bac rejoignant la rive est de Louxor. Et enfin cerise sur le gâteau, Abdallah est toujours disponible pour vous aider si besoin.

La rue pour accéder à l'hôtel n'est pas en bonne état (ce qui est sans importance vu la qualité globale une fois que vous avez rejoint l'établissement)

El Nakhil hotel is great. Abdallah at the front desk is super friendly and has a great sense of humor. He provided us with lots of useful information and help to arrange tours/activities. The owner is usually around as well and he's also a super nice and welcoming person. On-site there is a small library with a variety of books in different languages and a pool table to play. The biggest gem is the restaurant. By far our favorite from all the restaurants on the west bank. Unfortunately we have stayed at Nakhil only 1 night as we have arrived to Luxor a day earlier than anticipated and we had to move to the hotel that we have originally booked before, however we have gone to Nakhil's restaurant quite few times even after moving to the next accommodation. The food is tasty, presentation is great, service is professional and the prices are really good comparing to other nearby places. Definitely worth a visit. The hotel itself is few min walk off the main street away from all the noise but not far enough to be an inconvenience. There is a small convenience store about 3min walk away. Also there are many families living around with children playing which gives it a nice, safe, local vibe.

They have excellent customer service, are very friendly and attentive at all times, and offer every convenience for visitors. The food is delicious and the rooms are very comfortable; I highly recommend it. Joseph the receptionist it’s very nice we love him. And in general all the people was amazing

Merci à Youssef pour sa gentillesse. On a pu faire toutes les activités que l'on souhaitait grâce à Abdellah qui nous a même organisé un vol en montgolfière au dernier moment. Merci également a Abdo de nous avoir accompagnées au souk. Nous avons apprécié le calme du quartier et la piscine qui était très agréable. Camille, Nina, Sonia
