Clean , confortable , great location, walking distance to what old town has to offer which is beautiful. The front desk ladies were great very helpful with a big smile! Great customer service , which is very appreciated.
It is a lovely old hotel in the heart of old town. The staff were friendly and very responsive. The bed was very comfortableIt! It is in a wonderful location, making it easy to access all that Fort Collins has to offer.
I loved staying at the Armstrong Hotel, but it was a bit pricey.
Great location -- shopping, restaurants, coffee, bars.
Very expensive, outdated, 1-bedroom suite with tiny bathroom.
Friendly staff and well accommodating due to we did not turn up till 2am due to flight delays they were great
every thing was awesome no complaints
The Armstrong Hotel has a wonderful ambiance of old world charm with modern touches. My room was very cosy - I had a corner suite - and the additional sitting room area was perfect for me to use as a work space. The bed was so comfortable it was like getting into a fluffy cloud every night. The staff were very helpful and friendly and my room was always beautifully cleaned every day by the cleaning staff. The food in the restaurant was absolutely delicious and fresh and the downstairs bar area was an added bonus that felt like stepping back in time. It's near to all amenities in Downtown Fort Collins including cafe's, bars and shops of all types. It is just a couple of blocks from a Target and a Lucky's Market so I could stock up the fridge in my room with snacks.
Really, there is nothing I would change.
Comfortable rooms and great location
Parking charge Internal room, poor natural light and disturbing noise from air conditioning units
Right in heart of the town, walking distance to cafes, restaurants & shops.
Great location and very friendly staff - walk everywhere car did not leave the parking lot (that was 20 a day so only negative.
Location! Downtown with tons of nice shops and restaurants. Decor takes advantage of old style hotel rooms. Bed is great, room clean. Room is small, like all old hotels. Nice folks.
Great location and lovely hotel. Parking/dining credit was a good value. Room was comfortable and air conditioning worked great as it was quite warm during our stay. Cafe dining hours a little inconvenient given the 9 am start time but overall a pleasant experience.
Loved the Armstrong! The location is great, the design is amazing, and the staff is stellar. Haley at the front desk will take incredible care of you, and Katlyn un the restaurant is the best! 10 out of 10 recommend. Will definitely be back!
Location is great. We love staying at the Armstrong. Loved our room looking over downtown FC. A perfect anniversary getaway!!
Had a little hard time controlling the temp in our room. That's about it.
Breakfast was great, we ate on-site for the first time.
Weird vibrations from mechanical systems. White noise generator in rooms helped a lot.
The unique atmosphere provided. Very old school but yet modern. Very beautifully designed wall and cards.
Overall great experience.
Good location, very comfortable, and great staff.
Nothing
Beautiful and cozy at the same time!! Perfect location for walking around.
Nothing!
Schoon en op een goede locatie in het centrum Leuke plaats om te verblijven
Exceptional comfort, neat retro ambience and design that never felt hipster pretentious, kind and attentive staff, a killer speakeasy in the basement, an in room espresso maker, Napoleon Dynamite staring at us from on high.
Everything was honestly great...
What a amazing stay at the Armstrong hotel. The accommodation, friendly staff and food was wonderful. The decor is done beautifully. The hotel's location is perfect for walking and visiting the local shops. We had a wonderful stay and we will definitely be back.
Clean historic and fun building located in old town and close to the university.
Beds were amazing, we all slept well. The property is very unique and well set up. The bar and restaurant below were perfect for a meal or a drink or to just listen to music. Lots of restaurants nearby in walking distance for any meals or even coffee.
Property is amazing, no complaints.
The vibes and location of this hotel are exceptional! The staff were also very friendly and helpful.
Great location
1st trip to Ft Collin's and I'm certain this lovely hotel is a significant part of why I've fallen in love! I was looking for something boutique-y, unique and that just hit that extra special details vibe. Its beyond. Absolutely beautiful inside and out. Service is spectacular, thoughtfully and graciously attended to throughout our 5 day stay. It is not just clean, its spotlessly maintained. This same level of quality care and service is so beautifully carried through to the stunning restaurant downstairs. Delicious food and tasty beverages but the overall atmosphere was dreamy in the best way. It seamlessly mixed the vintage speakeasy vibe w/ modern vinyl. The Armstrong & Ace Gilletts is worth the trip alone. I simply could have spent everyday right there. Brunch in the lobby, drinks w/ live music under the shady awning in the afternoon and romantic dinners downstairs BUT The Armstrong is so perfectly located toward the university end of S College St that it was in easy walking distance of some of the most lively bars, fun shopping, great eats and yummy treats. Once we'd parked in one of their assigned lots, we were able to stroll at our leisure. I could go on and on but I'd just say Go. Stay. Fall in love w/ this beautiful establishment in this lively town. You will be so glad you did. 💖
Exceptionally clean and well kept. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
The rooms need more plugs or charging ports. Parking areas did not have signage so it was difficult to know the proper place to park.
The staff went above and beyond to make our stay really memorable and we’re excited to return one day soon. The live music on their outdoor patio was lovely and Ace Gillette in the basement was so fun for a nightcap. We were there when it was 94 degrees out but their Air Conditioning kept us nice and cool. The hotel is charming and close to everything in town.
The bartender at Ace Cafe needs some training. Her personality was wonderful but the drinks were borderline undrinkable and we had to send a couple of the back.
Very comfortable room and bed. Staff friendly. Did offer cookies in evening and coffee in the morning. Good location for what we wanted to do. Close to many restaurants.
Not much of a view from our room. No breakfast or pool.
We had no choice but to park 1.5 blocks away as there are insufficient spaces at the hotel (and only one handicap spot if you are lucky enough to get there during a short window of opportunity). Yet we were charged $20 per night for the right to park 1.5 blocks away! Staff was very friendly, and the hotel itself is "quaint",but no handicap accommodations ( like hand rails in the bathtub). It was also very noisy throughout the night, as it sits in the heart a nightclubs district, and lots of cars racing engines ,etc. Probably a good place for 22-28 year olds looking to party.
Comfortable rooms, courteous staff, great location.
Coffee service should be earlier than 9am
Perfect location. Can walk everywhere.

Location was great and the staff was very friendly
The price was a bit too much for the value.
Really cool building in the heart of Fort Collins
Parking was a little hard to understand, but eventually figured it out, and there was enough.
Great location and great staff. Loved the bar in the basement. Very cool lobby. Convenient parking. Housekeeping checked in with us every morning. Umbrella loaner was a plus since it rained first day
Floors and bed were squeaky, thin walls, could hear people above and next door. Bathrooms floor tile looked a little worn. Shower head to low for me
The location was the very best part. Right downtown old town
Rooms were very noisy. I could hear next door neighbors conversations and the wood floor from above was loud.
Wonderful location in the heart of Fort Collins- surrounded by so many different shops and restaurants. The service at the front desk was great and friendly. The decor and vibe of the hotel were cool, and the room and space were clean and super comfortable. Wish we stayed on the weekend to experience the food and drinks in the hotel. Price was super affordable and worth it!
Clean, classic style and beautifully designed. I will come back here

Ed at the Front Desk when we checked in was a delight. Property reminded me of a quirky European boutique hotel. Ideal location. Would DEFINITELY recommend and stay again.
Ed at the front desk was very nice, and the hotel is cute and in Old Town, so lots of nearby activities. However, the noise from the street outside and the hallway is unbearable. A hotel is only as good as your night’s sleep. All night large trucks, emergency vehicles, honking vehicles, talking in the hallway, etc. I found a little tray with foam earplugs, which should’ve clued me in, but I can’t sleep with foam in my ears either.
We spent hte night of our wedding at the Armstrong. It is a really beautiful hotel, and our room was modern and clean. They are very pet friendly so we were able to bring our little dog with us. The staff left us a really sweet congratulations note as well.
We did not find anything we didn't like.
Comfortable beds and staff very kind. Close to venue for a show.
The neighbors next to our room kept us up with being so loud until 5am. Even when we tried to get them to stop. So disrespectful. We have stayed here before and it was great, but no sleep this trip
I liked the location in the old town. The building itself, whilst having all the usual modern conveniences, retains a certain ‘old world charm’ A really nice energy. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful.
The location is the best thing about this hotel. Just walk out the door and everything is there. The staff is young and very upbeat and knowledgeable about Fort Collins. We routinely asked them where to eat and what to do and followed their every suggestion, all of which worked out fine. Ace Gillette downstairs is awesome and our visit there made our stay special. The hotel definitely has a charm factor. Oh, and the espresso machine is 👍🏽.
The room is very small and the walls a bit thin. From time to time I could hear things next door - not normal talking but the shower, and loud coughing.
Location, history
Hearing doors slam and other guests
The location in town was perfect for walking to shops and restaurants. The hotel decor is fun and everything was clean. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.
The staff is very friendly and it is a very walkable location.
The hotel is located in a lively neighborhood that has lots of coffee shops and is a 20 minute walk from CSU. The room was clean, comfortable and cute. Will surely stay there again.

The room was very noisy and had no view except for a brick wall
Beautiful, historic, clean. We had a wonderful stay.
Great atmosphere and charm! Love the lobby area.
Rooms and bathrooms were small but clean and comfortable.
We've stayed at the Armstrong twice and look forward to coming back again. Well designed, great people, perfect location.
Location. Ambiance.
The street sounds are very present at night. They offer ear plugs for good reason. I wouldn’t not stay here though. The location is too good.
The staff was really amazing. They were very helpful and courteous!
I liked everything about the hotel. The location was great and the staff was great.
Great location
Parking is far. No room service
The room was gorgeous and so comfortable! Staff was amazing and super friendly!
I was looking forward to a big tub but my room didn’t have one. Also the bed was too firm.
I arrived before our room was ready; staff were very accommodating - tagged and placed my luggage in a secure area and gave me a receipt. Convienient to come and go at all hours and close to so many great shops and food
Microwave in room. Bathroom was small
Great location. Old world charm.
The Jazz bar downstairs. I’m not sure it’s affiliated but service was terrible! The room was stuffy and really warm.
Comfortable and perfect for old town shopping and food.
Parking is very limited.
Friendly staff went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met.
Proximity to the Armory.
It was a little cool
Amazing bed linens, decor, and incredibly clean. Location was perfect and the staff was super helpful and friendly!

A total vibe! Historic, quaint, awesome hotel with super friendly staff. Fantastic speakeasy in the basement. Highly recommend!
Everything
Cold floors. And no frequent stay rewards
The Armstrong is a beautiful, boutique hotel in an amazing location downtown. The room was really nice and spacious. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
I loved this quirky, charming, sweet hotel! Only stayed one night for business, but it was great! Everything worked, no complaints, bed was comfortable, bathroom super nice, and the attached restaurants (one in the evening, one coffee shop in the morning) were both perfectly fine! Staff was charming and efficient. If for any reason I come back to Fort Collins (doubtful, but you never know), this is the place to stay!
Awesome location and beautiful facilities. Such a niche hotel.
They charged you for parking and the happy hour deals were not so great.
Didn’t eat breakfast
Parking
Location, style, unique style, friendly staff, room upgrade
Shower water pressure was non existent. Pay to park, weird smell in the bathroom when we arrived
Great location. Price was good.
Beautiful room, exceptional staff, great bar lower floor, loved the whole experience. Thanks especially to Ransom and Ed.
Great location and great ambiance
Noisy piping
The hotel staff is amazing and the hotel is super cute and clean. Unfortunately, the noise level from outside as well as from rooms on the floor above was so loud that we weren't able to get good rest.
