Impress Resort, Phuket - Free scheduled shuttle to Bang Tao Beach

The pool was nice

I had to pay 200 baht extra for a towel that was mildly dirty. My coffee in the room was not refilled. It was not really that clean, after cleaning I always had hair at the floor. In my friends room they had a cockroach and a toad in their room.

Huge, comfy beds and plenty of room to stretch out. The pool and gym access were top-notch, and the free shuttle to nearby attractions was a total game-changer for our trip. Everything was convenient and high-quality.

My only small suggestion would be to look into the scent of the wooden furniture—it had a bit of an aged smell that lingered.

Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und wurde jeden Tag gereinigt! Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit! Empfehlenswert!

Das Hotel liegt sehr weit von irgendwelchen Bars und dem Strand entfernt! Man braucht ein Fahrzeug um mobil zu sein!

Das Resort ist angenehm ruhig. Die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich, kompetent und hilfsbereit. Jeden Tag wurde unser Zimmer gereinigt und wir waren fast 3 Wochen dort. Es fährt 3 mal täglich ein Hotelbus zum Beach und zum schönsten Shoppingcenter am Porto Laguna. Es gibt einige Restaurants nur wenige Schritte neben dem Resort mit sehr günstigen Preisen. Ein Nachtmarkt ist auch gleich neben dem Resort. Der Seven Eleven ist auch in der Nähe. Ein Geheimtip das Ma Doo Bua Stay Cafehaus ( Seerosencafe, Influenza Hot Spot) ist gleich links keine 5 Minuten zu fuss neben dem Resort. Das kleine Steak Restaurant auch links neben dem Nachtmarkt, war unser Lieblingslokal, das Preis Leistungsverhältnis unglaublich und auch bei den Einheimischen sehr beliebt.

Das einzige was uns gestört hat war das Frühstück Nicht nur das Frühstückangebot und die Auswahl bescheiden waren ( und leider fast immer alles kalt) sondern auch das es oft nicht vorhanden war und nur sehr langsam wieder aufgefüllt wurde. Die Mitarbeiter geben ihr bestes aber es ist einfach zuviel Arbeit und vielleicht sollten mehr Mitarbeiter für das Frühstück zuständig sein.

Frühstück jeden Tag das selbe Essen,alles Essen kalt, Kaffee meistens aus,müssten ständig auf Kaffee warten, keine Milch.Nur Margarine nur Erdbeermarmelade und Toast.Spiegeleier immer kalt.Das nach bringen der Speisen dauert ewig.Sehr abgelegen ohne Roller wenig Möglichkeiten wohin zu kommen.Ansonsten ruhiges Hotel.

Luktade tyvärr sopor. Stadsdelen kändes sliten. Frukosten var väldigt sparsam.

Pool was clean, staff were helpful.

On arrival, kettle did not work, WC did not flush - both were fixed but not a good start. Outside lights on all night and insufficient curtaining to mask them, Could hear conversations in nearby rooms until after 1am so not a goosd sleep. Breakfast not good - eggs, Thai food all cold, little choice.

The hotel is ok, but you have to find a place to eat lunch and dinner, and not too many places around that are close. The breakfast is NOT that good, and it's always cold, so you have to reheat it in the microwave Housekeeping comes late in the afternoon

The rooms are clean, the bed is comfortable, and all the essentials are provided, including a large fridge, daily cleaning, a small gym, a modest pool, and a spacious parking area. For the price, it’s okay.

This is not a 5* hotel, more like a 3*. The breakfast is terrible—don’t bother ordering it. Private terraces are poorly maintained, with broken furniture. The smell of weed is noticeable in the hotel. It’s located in the middle of nowhere.

There is absolutely nothing I liked about this resort, and I feel it’s important to point out that this is not a 5-star resort as they claim. Their advertisement on Booking.com is entirely misleading. Upon further investigation, I found on Google Places that this property is officially rated as a 3-star resort. The disparity between their claims and reality is unacceptable and borders on false advertising. Guests deserve transparency, and unfortunately, this resort fails to deliver on even the most basic expectations. I have attached some photos as well.

My family and I recently stayed at Impress Resort Phuket, and the experience was extremely disappointing. Uncaring Staff: The staff showed no interest in assisting guests, and our concerns were ignored, even by the manager. Hygiene Issues: Dirty towels and bedsheets were provided, and the management did nothing to address this. Terrible Breakfast: The so-called "English breakfast" was mostly Thai dishes with minimal options like white bread and half-fried eggs. Staff rudely dismissed requests for an omelet, and the breakfast setup was unhygienic, with cracked plates and a rusted juice jar lid. Guest Neglect: Leftover food was given to staff after breakfast hours, making it clear guests were not a priority. The electric tea kettle in my room was rusted and leaking, making it unusable. The wash basin in the bathroom was also leaking, causing inconvenience. Additionally, one of the cupboards in the bathroom was broken and wouldn’t close properly. I do not recommend Impress Resort Phuket – there are far better options available in Phuket.

Nice small resort with big enough rooms. There was a kitchen in the room that was great. Good facilities including restaurant, pool, gym, parking. Many local caffes and restaurants near by so you have choice there to go at evening even if you don't have any vehicle. Very reasonable price for accommodation. Good location if you have a vehicle. Just 10-15 minutes to the beach and 5-7 minutes to center of the area - Boat Avenue. Staff was nice and friendly.

Would be great to have cutlery and at least a salad bowl with couple of plates at the kitchen to be able to cut fruits or might be make a simple salad. As without it kitchen not really useful 😅 Maybe they provide it by the demand. I didn't ask as it was a late evening. A bit noisy as big road not far from the hotel but not really critical. Pillows very hight and not soft enough so uncomfortable sleep on it but it's common issue of inexpensive hotels in Thailand.

The place is good value for money. For that price obviously one cannot be too demanding. The aircon works, the bathroom (kinda) works, the bed is sufficiently comfortable, the fridge works, the people are friendly, there is good amount of living space, the pool is clean.

Obviously one should not set expectations too high given the price they charge.

Leaving when my taxi arrived.

Booked for 7 nights.. checked out after 1 hour after moving rooms once due to sewage smell in the 1st room. Been travelling for last 11 months and this is the worst hotel I’ve been too. It’s very far from the beach and there is a massive paddling lot which the rooms look onto which is not in the pictures.

Good value for money, I only needed to stay one night and it was perfect for that. Nice staff, decent rooms.

Just the shower was a little weak and a little investment into a free toothbrush and hand soap etc would go a long way👍🏻

I didn't have breakfast but the location was very good as it was close to a quiet places and waterfalls and the traffic was not chaotic in this area also there were local markets which you could walk to

Maintenance bathroom

The front of desk person on arrival was welcoming and helpful, and the room was spacious and clean. The fact that the hotel had a swimming pool was a bonus. Just around the corner from the hotel is an excellent Thai restaurant - Grilled Fish Miang Thalang.

The room had an unpleasant and musty odour on arrival, and the stairs to our room on the first floor were a bit precarious - the steps were a bit too steep and narrow, particularly if you are elderly.

The manager was very helpful. He went out of his way to help me find my lost ID cards at another facility. He drove me with his car to the places I had been to. Can't thank him enough

We liked the two pools and the terrace facing them. Nothing special but an acceptable option in the mid of Phuket from where you can easily reach any place in the island (traffic permitting).

The main office staff were not helpful at all. This is falsely advertised as a 4+ star resort. This should not be that. During breakfast you choose from 3 sets of which the daughter of 1 of the staff will make your toast and awful coffee. My sheets had stains on them when I looked the first night and they were not changed until day 3. Wash soap ran out on day 3 and was not replaced as not checked.

As the name suggests IMPRESS RESORT, we were not impressed. The rooms are tired and the bathroom in particular needs upgrading, to be rid of the mouldy smell.
