Chez Mimosa Corner - New address 90 Đề Thám

The room was huge and clean. The breakfast was delicious. The staff was professional, welcoming, and accommodating. Having our laundry done was extremely helpful since we were traveling to other cities. The hotel is located in a perfect location. There was a 7-Eleven and pharmacy nearby. One of the walking streets is within 5 minutes from the hotel. I ate a taco restaurant nearby and the food & service were exceptional. The staff serving breakfast felt like family. They served some of the best eggs I have ever eaten! Everything tasted so fresh. If you plan to visit Ho Chi Minh City, I highly recommend staying at Chez Mimosa Corner. I would stay here again.

During our first night, we could hear loud music in our room. It played late into the night. Thankfully, it only happened the first night. I don't blame the operators of Chez Mimosa. It was unexpected.

Breakfast was limited choice, but tasty - they make you an omelet, fruit and crepe. Incredible that they will do laundry for free and supply a foot bath. Comfy larger than usual room. Location in an old vibrant area. Staff very helpful. Next time we're in Saigon, we know where to stay. I hope they change nothing.

Being a vibrant area, outside noise of the street hard to avoid. No sleeping in . .

Everything! The hospitality and location was perfect. And breakfast was delicious.

Personál byl ochotný. Ubytovali nás dříve, hned jak bylo možné. Pozvali nás zdarma do své kavárny a zaplatili nám taxi na zastávku autobusu.

Great location, comfortable bed and great AC

The shower pressure isn't very high

Staff super friendly and helpful. Breakfast simple but tasty. Rooms clean and spacious. CLose to central market and plenty of eateries nearby

If something happens or you need any help, the hotel staff are always there for you. They are very kind, quick to respond, and make sure you feel comfortable during your stay. Really appreciated their support! The room was very clean, cozy, and comfortable — everything you need for a good rest. Breakfast was also delicious with plenty of choices every morning.

The only small downside was some noise from nearby construction, but everything else made up for it.

Place is clean and well maintained. Breakfast is on a rooftop and it's quite simple. Everything else was as advertised.

Make sure you get the address correctly for your check in as there are some different addresses reflecting. It's in a very small lane and the board is not too big so you may need help at the first time. Area is a very local and a bit noisy i would say. Even at night you can hear doors closing, so if that's ok with you then go ahead. They also have another wing of the hotel which has only stsris and no lift so better to check before you book/arrive.

Location Staff - excellent recommendation for food, roof top bar Staff help organise to use a local gym Friendly

Great location, very quiet at night, nice staff, good breakfast, spacious room.

Bathroom smelled, ventilator/Aircon in the bathroom wasn't working.

Location allows you to do all District 1 by walking. We did not use taxi. The street where is located is not the nicest one but it is safe Staff at the reception were incredible nice. Thank you Tío! And the lady and staff at breakfast have a 11/10

Noisy in the very early morning.

Location close to Bu Vien Area...lively and lots of action. Friendly staff, clean, well appointed.

AC could be stronger

Due to some technical hiccups, we were placed at their sister's property called Chez Mimosa Petite and were given rooms with balcony. The staff particularly Ms Anna was very helpful and friendly. She has helped us with our airport transfer and patiently waited for us as our flight from Dalat was delayed. The rooms are decorated beautifully and the sound proofing is good. We rested well and was given free laundry and breakfast. The breakfast spread is sufficient and delicious. Thank you Anna and the rest of the staff members for such an exceptionally services extended to us.

None.

The property was absolutely charming and perfectly located in the vibrant heart of Saigon. It's a wonderful place to soak in the city's lively atmosphere!

Nothing. The property was great.

I booked a room, but after a while I received a message that there was an error and they had no available rooms. The reservation was canceled, but I checked several times that same evening, and it was still possible to reserve a room. I asked why reservations were still possible, they said it was an error. I booked a room at another hotel. On the day I was supposed to stay, I received a message asking why I wasn't coming or if I still needed a room. I received a message from a different number than the one I received that the reservation had been canceled. I sent a copy of the message. I received a response that they found a free room and prepared it for me, but unfortunately they didn't inform me about it. Very bad communication, one employee cancels, the other asks why I'm not coming. I don't recommend it so that you don't spoil your mood, it's unreliable

Comfy bed Spacious room Friendly staff Great location

Amazing bedroom, great breakfast, perfect location.

Mdme Fleur is an amazing hostess, speaking fluent Vietnamese, English and French. The service by ALL the staff is outstanding. The breakfast was brilliant.

- clean and spacious - free delicious fresh breakfast - easy to message and quick response

This wasn’t a big deal to me but it is a bit in a strange alley way and the lift is accessible via the public to get to your floor but it felt relatively safe

From our arrival at Chez Mimosa we were greeted with a welcome smile. Located down a lane the location is quiet and from our balcony we could watch the world go by or sit and enjoy a drink. Our room was spacious and comfortable with the only exception being a slightly pokey bathroom. It definitely wasn't a deal breaker though and compared to stories we heard from other travellers it was perfectly adequate. Our room was located on the fourth floor directly under the dining room so there was a little bit of noise from early morning diners but it didn't bother us. Breakfast each morning was delicious. Fresh fruit, yoghurt, eggs and pancakes to order. The location is also great, far enough away to explore the local street food and be immersed in local life but close enough to be part of all of the action and night-life if desired.

Excellent place to stay !!

They treat you very nicely. Great breakfast, and we had to do the check out at 2 am and they packed our breakfast take away. How cute !

Room very uncomfortable

Set up of the room you can’t move around

A little gem in a great location. The suite was cozy and well-equipped, perfect for a few relaxing days. The friendly and helpful staff stood out, always available when needed. Despite being centrally located in a quiet area, I slept wonderfully. Everything important—restaurants, sights, and shops—was within walking distance. For the price and quality offered, it's a clear recommendation.

everything was perfect

This is the fourth time we have stayed at Chez Mimosa, but the first time in the new location, so we obviously like it. Great staff at the front desk. Fleur up in the breakfast area is an absolute gem. If you can, book a room facing De Tham. The market down below is really fun to watch. In the evening soup people set up in the alley that goes to the hotel entrance and it’s good.

This has to be one of the most charming and comfortable boutique hotels we have ever stayed in. We loved it here, our balcony faced the street and we so enjoyed watching the bustle of the city in the late afternoon after site seeing all day. The bed and pillows were super comfy and the room large with a small sitting area as well. The shower was nice and hot, face cloths were provided. Free laundry once per day! The staff were all so friendly and happy. We came to our room one day and had the nicest surprise, a foot bath was sitting at the door all we had to do was add water and dip our feet in. It was heaven! We loved it here and when we come back there is no question that we will stay here again.

Nothing it was perfect!

Great central accommodation in the heart of HCMC – very clean with a delicious breakfast. The free laundry service worked perfectly. However, the shuttle service we requested was significantly more expensive than options like Grab, which we hadn’t experienced elsewhere in Vietnam. Nevertheless, we’d happily come back anytime and can highly recommend Chez Mimosa Corner! :)

Located in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City, this accommodation offers a central yet peaceful retreat away from the city’s hustle and bustle. Its strategic location is perfect for travelers, with the Futa Bus stop just 400 meters away, providing direct access to the central bus station. The rooms are impeccably clean, and the staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive. Enjoy a delightful breakfast on the rooftop, featuring delicious local dishes. A 5-star experience!

Great room! Quite a central location too. The staff and the breakfast lady was very cute and friendly! It’s great that they do laundry for free too!!

It was hard to find at first and it does get quite noisy in the morning as it’s on the main street.

Fresh, tasty breakfast. Located in a side street, so we were able to have a good sleep. Located close to numerous cafes and restaurants. Friendly staff. Good value for money. On one of the days, they provided us with a tub for a foot soak, which was amazing! Highly recommend.

This was the best hotel for us in our 8 day Vietnam trip across Ho chi, Da Naaf and Hanoi. The hospitality by Mark, Old Aunty(only by age) and. other staff were very kind and helpful. I would highly recommend to book it once and try on your own. Peace ✌🏽

Only concern was the address is not updated, they will hopefully update it by the time Ii write this review but mark was helpful to guide us to the right location. Rest assured you will have a good time here.

Loved the breakfast and the environment! The staff were extremely helpful!

Nothing

Super friendly staff at the reception We had a 4 am departure to catch a flight and they prepared us a breakfast box Spacious room

Location was great. Staff were very friendly accommodating . Great spot for breakfast on the top floor.

The staff were so friendly and welcoming!! The breakfast was delicious. I definitely recommend the homemade yoghurt. The bed was very comfortable and room tidy. The location was great, lovely and quiet yet close to the action of district 1. Chez Mimosa was the perfect place to adjust to the time zone and settle into Vietnam after arriving from the UK.

Nothing.

breakfast was very nice. exceeded my expectation. staff polite and friendly

Good location, very kind and friendly stuff. Flower with her team, Mark and all reception team are real treasure. Good breakfast, wonderful selection of exotic fruits. Cozy and light room. You feel like a welcome guest.

Only half of the balcony was protected from rain, therefore it is impossible to be there during rain. We’ve seen it first time. There are some minor comments on the quality of cleaning, for example: liquid soap was not refilled properly, dry and wet cleaning were not always carried out thoroughly

Everything was great. The breakfast lady was super sweet !

None

I stayed at Chez Mimosa for 3 nights. The hotel is in a very handy location close to Walking Street. It is close to walk to all attractions. The staff were super friendly and helpful. I would stay here again

We loved everything about this place, but most of all the staff and customer service. Everybody was so friendly and helpful, especially Mark, Linn and Madam Fleur ❤️ They gave plenty of recommendations for things to see and places to eat, and even helped organise a birthday surprise before we arrived! The rooms are spacious, spotless and have the most comfortable beds and pillows we’ve found anywhere, including home! Great location just down a small side street, where you can have amazing local food and coffee just out the front door. Then there is so much more to do within just 10-15 minutes walk. We enjoyed it so much we stayed an extra night in their property ‘Local’ in the next building, and it was just as good 👍🏼

A very minor thing, but our bathroom fan wasn’t working at the time, so it got a bit steamy after a shower, that’s all.

Airport pickup Breakfast Free laundry Friendly stuff

The beds. So comfortable and the breakfasts.

The staff was friendly, always trying to help us out with our questions. In the kitchen, we got extra attention with our dietary requirements, and the breakfast was massive (to mention that the canteen was on the top floor with views). The room was spacious with sound proofing from the outside, with everything one needed. The hotel offered some treats over the stay which were always nice!

After three weeks staying in Vietnam and sleeping on rather firm mattresses, we found the mattress here to be too soft. Additionally, there was no warm water and that did not change even after reporting it to the staff.

Cleaness of the room and kindness of the staff. Very good breakfast

Location is in a secondary and messy street, not really clean. Old bathroom

The free laundry service, location, and the refreshing foot bath that they provide so you to cleanse your feet after a long day of walking.

There were some hiccups with the reservation system and maybe it was just lack of accommodation. Also the free breakfast is located at there other property, but they drive you to it by motor bike.

Beds were very comfortable, room was quiet and staff were lovely!!

Customer service

Breakfast timings could be extended a little

The service is great. The room I had was upgraded, and while the bathroom was a little older looking it was very clean and tidy. The receptionist Lin(?) really was very sweet and helpful even when I wasn't in the greatest mood. The room overlooks an alley which has the bustle of everyday life. The madam at breakfast is super friendly and efficient getting your order done. Try the pineapple jam, it's delicious.

This is the best service experience I've ever had. Every single staff member was amiable, kind, and attentive. I would like to express my appreciation for Huy, who always enthusiastically supported us, booking Grab for us and even holding an umbrella for us, rain or shine. I am also very grateful to Nhã for enthusiastically sharing experiences and recommending great dining and entertainment spots in Can Tho. I would love to recommend this place to everyone.

Location, service & the people

They was a problem with the system so we stayed at their other building Chez Mimosa Petite instead. No complaints since the buildings weren’t far apart, less than 5 mins walk away. I’ve never had such excellent service at this price point, staff here were amazing! Jacob whatsapp’ed food recommendations to us right before we arrived & even more for our next stop in Da Lat. Fleur, the friendly breakfast restaurant manager, made sure we had everything we need every morning (including second helpings). Not to mention that breakfast is at the main building on the rooftop with a gorgeous view. There was a personal touch to all our interactions and we felt well taken care. Would definitely recommend staying here if you’re in HCMC since it has better service than 5 star hotels ☺️

The room and and location were amazing, but the staff was the cherry on the cake. Especially Jacob went all the way to help us.

Nothing, all perfect

The friendlyness of all the staff and the reliability of their information. The breakfast was fantastic and very well organised. And the fire escape route was available and ussable.

We think the airco was not working correctly. This was professionally handled by the hotel staff.

The staff was really helpful

There was a cockroach

The room was comfortable and big. We also got to do our laundry for free which was amazing!! Also, on one of the nights we got a bucket with salt and some fruits prepared for our feet - it was such a nice surprise! The view from rooftop was nice.

The location was good but it is around 20min walk from centre itself.

The staff was really attentive, they were super welcoming and helped us to solve problems considering being for us the first time in Vietnam. Great English and customer service. A special thank to Jacob who brought us around Ho Chi Minh with lots of patience and availability. Really great staff and location!

When we entered the room we found 1 cricket which can be justifiable due to being a tropical country. But rather than that it was perfect and memorable.

Breakfast was a highlight of ourt staying. The hostess made a delicious homemade breakfast.

The amazing staffs always greet us with smiles and warm assistance. Also need to thank their kind recommendation for our first Pho experience just near the corner of Chez Mimosa, wonderful! Omelette in breakfast is great and freshly made, with great view on the top level is a big plus!

Nope.

Clean. Comfortable. Reasonable price. Very good breakfast. Very friendly staff.

Limited day light coming into the room due to the main window being block by a wall. Could have been closer to city and main attractions. Area is a bit noisy and dirty. A pool to cool off in would have been nice. As I said reasonable price but probably could have found something better due to the big choices in Saigon but still was nice and no regrets.

The location was great, walking distance around the tourist spots. Also the hotel has several good food places around it

Nothing much, i really feel like its value for money. U get what we paid for

Staff was great. Although there were not so many options, the breakfast was good. Our room has good space, and it had a nice hot tub.

We got problems with the air-conditioning the first couple of nights. The location... It is centric, but located on a back alley. Our first impression was that it was a "shady" place. But if one doesn't care about that, then it was good value for the money.

It is a very charming and beautiful place, I liked the interior design there. The room is very spacious, had everything you need and makes you feel like at home. It is really very comfortable, the bed is super comfy, they have a few pillows, from soft to harder ones so it’s easy to choose from. The breakfast is big and super tasty. They offer fruit, eggs and delicious homemade yogurt.

The location is not very pretty, it’s in a market street and it’s not very pleasant to walk around. It also wasn’t very quiet as the local eatery opens very early and you can hear them preparing food. But good earplugs helped.

After three months in Vietnam Chez Minosa was our very last hotel and what a fantastic place to end our trip. The staff are wonderful, we received a lovely welcome and we were able to check in early once our room was ready. Fantastic location, close to restaurants and markets and the room itself is lovely, awesomely comfortable bed, good bathroom and AC. Breakfast was really nice, we loved meeting Fleur and JB at reception was a charming host. The free daily laundry service is also a really nice gesture. This is a great little hotel, we wish we could have stayed longer and we highly recommend it if you’re in Saigon.

Nothing to dislike. All good.
