Staff were very helpful and friendly. The restaurant was very nice, but the menu was rather limited and very expensive compared with other outlets.

The room was very nice and clean. The one problem was that the bathroom had no towel rails, therefore the towels were unable to dry sufficiently. Also, we would have to step outside the shower cubicle to reach a towel.

Receptionist gave a warm welcome - room was excellent. Hotel was very clean, shower was great - really good that there was tea and coffee in the room.

Last minute booking same day, brilliant location for visiting my mum in a home 5 minutes away, very quiet in the rooms which was lovely as its in quite a busy area, staff were so helpful, room was really clean big and comfortable would definitely recommend 100%

The property is at the great location. Clean and comfortable beds.

The property overall is great, but unfortunately, we weren’t very happy with the room we were given. It had a sloped ceiling, which made it feel a bit uncomfortable, and there was a machine located behind the room that created noticeable noise. Aside from the room and the noise issue, we had a positive experience with the property.

The breakfast (if they had put decent local sausages on) would have been one of the best cooked breakfasts i've had in any hotel. Let down fractionally because of the cheap sausages.

Avoid room 1 Only 2 plug sockets in room only one had usb that did not work, No plug sockets near the beds. Room cold at night Beds are to firm, Tv was pixelated no signal at all and Audio description was turned on and no settings to turn it off asked reception to turn it off they said they would but they never did.

Nice clean room which had bathroom. Good size free car park with car charging for those who need it.

The hotel location was a 20 minute walk into town but there are plenty of buses running back and forth.

It was very clean, bright and obviously well looked after and all the staff were incredibly friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Also our room was excellent.

All of it. It's obviously a new building which adds to it's attractiveness. Nice touches in the room were the welcome bottles of Radnor water. There was plenty of choice for the tea making facilities. Usually, you get two teabags and that's it. Nice to see plenty of choice. The staff were very nice, breakfast was great and excellent value. Great hotel with very friendly people wether they were at the desk, in the restaurant or cleaning the rooms. Excellent service all round. Very well done.

Bella struttura, pulita e ordinata. Personale alla reception cortese e disponibile. Le camere (matrimoniali) sono di dimensioni molto generose, offrendo spazio in abbondanza. Anche il bagno è di buone dimensioni e ben equipaggiato. Letti molto comodi. Il parcheggio è ampio e molto comodo. La relativa lontananza dal centro, raggiungibile in auto, è ampiamente compensata.

Nulla. Un solo appunto per l'ascensore... che in realtà è solo un lentissimo montacarichi per una persona e una valigia. Se non fosse per la fatica di portare i bagagli sarebbe meglio evitarlo...

Depending on chef, food was excellent to mediocre....one chef was outstanding so we fell lucky 5 out of 6 meals.

Waren nur eine Nacht dort. Schöne Zimmer und alles sauber. Ist etwas außerhalb und Mc Donalds ist gegenüber. Das Frühstück war lecker, aber nicht außergewöhnlich. Check out bereits um 10.00 Uhr. Für einen kürzeren Zwischenstopp in Aberystwyth aber super.

The smell that seemed to linger in our room when we walked in each time

Very clean, good size room, large comfortable bed and very friendly staff. Location - a 2 minute drive from good parking and access to the town and coast - was also good. Very quiet, despite being on a roundabout. Restaurant offered a reasonable selection of good value meals.

For what seems to be a relatively new hotel, the lack of air conditioning in the bedroom was disappointing and a little surprising. A fan was provided which gave a little relief.

Staff was excellent, service was excellent and restaurant was excellent. Parking was also very good and convenient. The location was also good with access to all major routes both north and south

The bed it was not comfortable. A fridge in the room would have been an asset especially with the recent hot weather Noise from adjacent rooms was a problem, not entirely the hotels issue just selfish and inconsiderate people

Breakfast was .fine with a fair selection but the buffet part tended to run low If late attending. Location was good with plenty parking.

Room was not like illustrated very unusual shape and like being in a corner of a loft with poor headroom in parts. Ensuite was very small ,no shaver point, no shelf to put items on, the sink was very small and totally inadequate, the water flow from the tap was slow, More than 2 night stay would have been totally inadequate.

There’s not a massive lounge area for guests but what’s there’s is comfortable.

I have to have a gluten free diet and the staff were very good at checking my food orders.

The room was very good , clean and modern and had a bay window. King size bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was great. Breakfast was excellent. The hotel is located on a busy roundabout, but this did not disturb us. The hotel does not have air-conditioning, but this was not an issue during our stay. Lovely staff. Plenty of parking spaces for convenience. .

It was a pleasant place to stay, but I would usually prefer a more central and characterful stay. An improvement on Premier Inn though. Plenty of free parking.

The size of the room was great and the shower was very good.

It wasn't clear in the description how close to a major road the hotel was. It was noisy all night long even with the windows closed with lots of HGVs delivering to nearby retail park. The hotel was priced as more premium but there was no air con and the hair dryer was poor. The mattresses were incredibly hard and we both found it difficult to sleep and we're achy in the morning. The breakfast was okay but they didn't replace items that ran out, the dining area was very hot, again with no air con. I would not recommend the hotel and felt it was overpriced.

Absolutely perfect for an overnight stay before the graduation ceremony at Aberystwyth University. Warm welcome, clean comfy room and a brilliant breakfast. What's not to like?

Always a pleasure to stay here. Staff are always friendly and attentive.

No car charger on site, having to leave the accommodation block to get to restaurant, it's fine in the summer but I've stayed here in the winter and it's cancelled be quite a blustery and cold wake up as you head for breakfast.

Room was really hot, especially as we were directly above the kitchen. No air conditioning which made it difficult to sleep as it was very warm. Opening windows helped but the kitchen extraction was right outside our window and the constant droning noise didn't help.

We particularly liked the convenience of the hotel, with easy parking, a straightforward check-in and a good base for exploring Aberystwyth.

We stayed at the Park Lodge Hotel in Aberystwyth after booking through Booking.com just 40 minutes before arrival. Check-in at around 6.00 pm was straightforward, though there was a brief mix-up over payment as we were initially asked to pay again at the hotel. As my wife is awaiting a hip replacement and I have troublesome ankles, we used the lift. Unfortunately, it was an open-platform disabled lift that took around a minute to arrive and another 45 seconds to travel one floor. If you have mobility issues and are in a hurry, bring patience. Our room was excellent—large, spotless and very comfortable. The bathroom was immaculate, and the shower was powerful with plenty of hot water. The only downside was that the room felt far too warm. The restaurant staff were pleasant and worked hard, although service felt rushed. My wife is dairy intolerant and made this clear, yet her linguine arrived covered in cheese. To their credit, it was replaced without hesitation, though the presentation was poor and the portion came in a bowl that reminded us of a dog bowl. My chilli con carne was fine, but again the presentation was lacking, with the rice and sour cream served separately in ramekins. Breakfast was mixed too. I ordered avocado with sourdough and scrambled eggs, expecting proper avocado, but received guacamole in a ramekin instead. Overall, the Park Lodge Hotel has a lot going for it: spacious, clean rooms, an excellent bathroom and friendly staff. However, the slow lift, overheated room and disappointing food presentation took the shine off the stay. For the money, it felt a little overpriced, though with a few improvements it could be a hotel we'd happily recommend.
