The location was excellent for everything we needed to do in Glendale… Had a very good breakfast, a very helpful staff, and seemed very clean and well-maintained

Primarily, and for the most part, the biggest problem was how uncomfortable the bed was… The bed was amazingly too hard, considering us soft it was it was weird, but very uncomfortable

The parking fees are pricey

From the moment I arrived the friendly front desk made me feel welcome. The room was immaculate- so clean. The breakfast was really good I don’t normally eat free breakfast at Hotels but the wide assortment of hot or cold food along with ice cold milk or orange juice and fresh fruit. Very good!!

The location was nice. The hotel was presentable and included breakfast.

Our room was hot and not cooling. The mini fridge available was not in working condition. It was already set to its lowest temperature and it kept our drinks at room temperature, spoiling our baby’s milk. We decided to cut our stay short when we realized the temperature in our room was rising instead of going down. when we were leaving, it was fresher outside than what it was inside the hotel.

I would book this hotel and recommend this to anyone thinking about this hotel. Location, Staff and condition of the hotel were superb.

Location was fatastic. Close to shopping, restuarants and entertainment. Room was clean and maintained. Breakfast was great as well.

Good location and staff was top notch! We had a room with weak a/c (at least for a Minnesotan in 100 degree LA) and they accommodated a room move without issue. Never felt ignored - always felt our concern was being heard. They also provided fans for us (which was appreciated). Room and hotel was clean and free breakfast was appreciated! Valet only is expensive(only did it once), but was quick and easy to do, so appreciated it. The other 3 nights we parked at the orange street parking garage a block or so away for $12 overnight and was good to go. The staff of this hotel deserves all the credit that they can get as they were always wonderful to work with and can't express that enough. This hotel is by no means "luxury", but staff certainly made it feel that way.

The room is good, and very clean. The value was worth it. One thing I hate about was the sofa bed. The sofa bed was a lil uncomfortable. The value was worth being the stay. The breakfast wasn’t that good. But the service was excellent and friendly. Would come back here.

The hotel room was very clean, spacious and the bathrooms are very clean. The hotel reception was very friendly and checkin and checkout were very quick and smooth. The only inconvenience here is only valet parking only. So we cannot park and visit our car at our convenience and we will have to go via the Valet parking which is such a big inconvenience. Also the hotel has no facilities to charge electric cars.

I really enjoyed my stay here. It's centrally located and the staff was great. No issues getting last minute packages delivered here. Room was very clean, albeit some stains on the carpet and furniture. The bathroom was, thankfully very clean. Service was prompt also and the towels were spotless. I would definitely stay here again.

Room decor was pleasing and all amenities, furniture and plumbing was in excellent repair. The room was very clean. The ;free' breakfast was stocked with an abundance of food choices and items.

The parking garage is a bit dismal and expensive and requires a 70 m walk through a busy driveway. The on-sight restaurant and bar were deserted. My clue: Don't order room service. We wanted a room for a third, special-needs adult, but there was no room divider (it looked like there was a partial one in on line photos) and the sofa bed would nearly fill the remainder of the room. We had to book another room at full price. Breakfast is served until 9 a.m. I asked a couple of college-educated staff to look at the crowd just 15 minutes before closing. There were more people including many families with children than at any time since the opening at 6:30 a.m. These staff could offer no insight from this observation. Do you think maybe the breakfast end time should be later?, I asked. The only answer was the time was company policy. I then asked "Do these guest appear to be business or leisure travelers?" Response was I don't know. Much of the breakfast dining seats are low chairs best for enjoying a relaxing bar drink. The breakfast is plentiful, but did not include anything interesting, just same ol', same ol'. Hallway carpeting frayed. They could easily trim off the loose threads to make it look much nicer. Walkway and drive outside front entrance messy with stains/gum.

Good customer service, clean, nice area with lots of things to do around, free breakfast. Kids liked it too. Would definitely come back.

This was my first reservation at Hyatt Place. The coffee/tea bar available at walk in was an excellent perk. The hotel’s short walk to the Galleria is plus. The staff is so friendly. Our room was above other hotel chains especially the bathroom; multiple towel/clothes hooks. We are definitely going back.

Great welcoming staff, great location, the breakfast was good. My neighbors were a little noisy but this wasn't the hotels fault. I will definitely stay here again.

Staffs were very friendly. Room was pretty spacious and clean. The location of the hotel is pretty good as well. However, there are some parts are less enjoyable. Parking can be an issue. Valet parking is fine. However, because it is offsite, it will take a while for the car to show up. This is not something the hotel can improve. The free breakfast is not that great. It does have a good selection of drinks with coffee, various types of milks and fruit juices. There are no USB / USB-C charging ports from wall outlets and there are not that many wall outlets bedside. I did bring a power strip and a number of charging bricks. However, if you have a number of things to charge, it can be an issue.

We only stayed one night. Wasn’t able to check in early. Never got the text our room was ready, tried to call, no one picked up. Didn’t ask if we had a car, valet is expensive. Room was standard Hyatt Place. Bed was comfy, wifi worked fine. Shower pressure was good. Did get woken up from other guests around 4-5am. I think breakfast is only for Hyatt members now, however you aren't missing out on much, it was very bland.

A great bargain for a class act hotel stay with not all the frills of higher priced spots but friendly competent staff, clean comfortable rooms and great location

So happy to have found this hotel! We really enjoyed our time here, staying for 3 nights before heading off to Vegas and the Grand Canyon, returning for two more nights before we flew home. The rooms are a great size- we had two beds and a sofa bed with plenty of space in the room to accommodate all four of us (kids are 17 and 12). Rooms were spotlessly clean -with housekeeping visiting every other day which suited us perfectly- and everyone slept well here. Rooms were so quiet and we were never disturbed by anyone else or outside noise. We looked at the area of Glendale many times before booking but were worried it may be too far out from the tourist spots we wanted to visit whilst in LA. Absolutely not the case and areas such as Hollywood, Beverley Hills, Santa Monica and Six Flags are all within easy reach if you have a car. The shopping area nearby is definitely worth a visit and there is also a good variety of restaurants nearby. We decided not to use the onsite valet parking, purely due to the cost and the fact that there is a very well maintained and safe multi storey car park literally round the corner from the hotel which charges $12 a day- within easy walking distance even with four suitcases! If I was to find any issue with the hotel it would only be with the breakfast- as Hyatt members this was included in our stay which was a welcome surprise on check in, but we felt a 9am finish time was a little early. Seating can be very limited between 8-9am, however, the turnover of guests is quite swift so we were rarely kept waiting long. We also would have loved to have seen more pastries offered (have very fussy kids who don’t eat much early in the day) but all of us found something to eat each day. A good selection of tea and coffee were also available. Staff who we came into contact with were always pleasant and super helpful which we’re thankful for and we would happily recommend this hotel.

We stayed for nine nights, having stayed in a Hyatt Place elsewhere previously and loving the hotel. This was also a fine choice - Glendale is well situated, safe and with no shortage of dinner and shopping opportunities at the Galleria and Americana. I'd say the latter is worth a look just to see what a really upmarket shopping area looks like - it's almost like a Disney park. The staff at the hotel were unfailingly pleasant and helpful, the room was a generous size and crucially, we never heard a peep from outside the room so it was quiet. It was nice and clean, everything worked, the wifi was great. Really no issues from that pov. Although I'd recommend the hotel generally, there are some small reservations. The breakfast offering was good, but not great - although the fried options were most popular, the cereals were quite limited, often just bran flakes and Cheerios. Some granola or muesli would have been good additions. The breakfast area could be quite busy 0800-0900, although we were able to find somewhere eventually. The weekday 0900 closing time for breakfast seemed a tad early for the holidays, and it prompted a bit of a rush. Final point though is that if you join World of Hyatt, which is free, you can get breakfasts for free if you mention at check-in. Final point has to be about the parking. Paying for hotel parking is just something you have to factor in these days and in this case, there are valets to pay. The cost depends on the day, $38-$48, although we had no more detail than that. I think the hotel is built specifically for valet parking and any other system would result in chaos. The valets were nice guys and we seldom had to wait long for our car, but the cost really mounted up. As we stayed for nine nights it cost us $400 (£300), plus tips. There were cheaper car parks nearby but in the end, since we were getting breakfasts for free, we put up with the cost, but it felt like a lot of money just to leave your car somewhere.

Excellent location in a perfect little town... It's within walking distance of everything, including a Starbucks, shops around the corner, burger shops, malls, you name it. You're right in the heart of it all.

Excellent hotel. Friendly and professional staff. Wonderful room, very spacious. Great, over sized shower....all features were amazing. Exceptionally clean.

Worst visit ever. While my truck was in their expensive, over rated valet parking garage, someone cut out my catalytic converter. It the vacation was ruined, I had to rent a car, and no compensation has been made yet. It's also very suspicious that the valet attendants first response to what it might be is that the issue could be the catalytic converter... Anyhow, they said they were going to give me 50k points and they haven't. I am still waiting to hear from their claims people, and my truck is still stuck in California. The experience was the worst ever and as a single father it was extremely difficult helping my kids and getting our stuff to a car rental dealership and explaining that their birthday celebration is cut short. Like I said, I am still waiting to hear from them, they have no since of urgency and they have not only ruined our vacation and done nothing to fix it, but put me in a horrible position.

Very friendly , responsive staff and good facility in general. Self parked at lot public next door to avoid valet hassle. Only downside was the view from our 2nd floor room on even side of hallway, which was absolutely terrible. You get to look at large HVAC units outside your window. Disappointing after traveling thousands of mile. If you stay here I would specifically request not a 2nd floor room. Everything else was good!

The staff were super friendly and check in was easy. We had Dominic at front desk and Jun who works in the bar area, both were amazing 👏. The location is soo close to galleria and eateries that are well known for tourists. All walking distances. Definitely a plus!

I love the amenities that the hotel provided, extra snacks and drinks. Also gyms and the pool, we did used it very well. Love that the hotel is close to different restaurants and mall, so it is quiet but also had a lively atmosphere nearby.

We like the location of this hotel. It is very clean with spacious rooms and a consistently good breakfast. I recommend it for all ages if you are staying in the area.

The location is excellent and served my purpose to visit family. The customer service of the front desk is excellent. The front desk agent was courteous during check in and was even checking up on my elderly parents who was in a second room on a daily basis to make sure they have everything they needed. I highly appreciate their care and hospitality.
