Lovely hotel very good breakfast comfortable beds.
Hotel was clean and comfortable
On this stay I was very disappointed with our food on night one it was warm and chips under cooked , staff member that served us was not friendly and we had to ask several times for a jug of water . Night 2 there was a wedding and until 1.30 am children were running up and down the corridor non stop shouting and screaming. This should not be allowed and unfair to other guests.i have stayed in Kilmore before and our experience was good but unfortunately after this visit I’ve cancelled our Christmas stay for another hotel .
The staff made my hotel choice excellent
Maybe more TVs in the bar
Breakfast was excellent .grest selection
Nothing
It was a beautiful place to stay, The staff were great very friendly and efficient. Breakfast was amazing and the evening meal in the bar was just as good. Would definitely return and recommend. Room was just right
Friendly
The 2 single beds pushed together you could really feel it
Food was lovely and staff were very helpful.
Everything went well
The hotel was very warm and welcoming. The rooms are very spacious and bed very comfy. Modern bathrooms and the breakfast was lovely. Staff were very nice. We were a last minute reservation and the staff were great
The only thing i could fault which wasnt even the hotels issue was that there was a wedding on and there were people outside our room singing and shouting at about 5am
Easy to access. Great staff.
Food was average.
Location excellent and staff
Breakfast not great, hot food felt like was cooked to long
Excellent stay, good value
Big comfortable room, great walk in shower. Evening meal lots of choice and substantial. Breakfast decent for a big hotel.
Prefer a hotel with somewhere to walk off my dinner, this doesn't have any " grounds" , but maybe I should have done more accurate research.
The facilities & the hotels landscaped grounds were fabulous
The staff were very casual & noisy talking and laughing loud in both the bar & reception areas in the evening, it was like a social gathering. The bar floor under our table was dirty with other people's food which got all over my shoes.
The food and staff very attentive
Lovely hotel, friendly staff, good Sunday lunch
Breakfast not so great, over cooked, poor fresh fruit salad
Everything met my standards great customer care and great place for a wedding. Food was delicious. Rooms were spotless. Staff ere lovely

Burger on menu was average and the bar service was slow..
It was a lovely clean hotel and staff was also lovely
Nice bedroom
Toaster not working properly. Breakfast poor quality. Receptionist unmannerly.
Very clean and even though there was a wedding in the same night we were staying it was not heard at all
We didn’t like that food Stopped at 8 but we were late getting there

Our stay was fantastic - I noted we were celebrating my partner's birthday and they very kindly upgraded our room and left a lovely birthday plate of chocolate strawberries in the room for our arrival! The staff were all very friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious. The place was clean and tidy. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.
Nothing - everything was brilliant.
Really nice hotel
Was a bit out of the way from where we live but well worth the money
Very friendly staff. Room was lovely. Food was amazing.

It's a great 4 star hotel

Very comfortable room. Bed very comfortable.
No issues
Lovely place - dinner was very nice and so was breakfast - bit isolated from Cavan Town which would have been better to be closer if wanted to go into the pubs. Overall though, lovely place
We didn’t have breakfast
Nothing
Had evening meal in the bar , service was brilliant and very quick. Meal was delicious. Could not fault at all. But what a job to get a drink or someone to give us the bill. We gave up in nar and headed to lobby where we expected them to quickly follow us which they didn't . Eventually after 2 more round of drinks then bill was brought to us. In the lobby people were arriving with there takeaways and sitting eating them there. MC Donald's in one corner, piazza in another and then the Chinese arrived! we could of just arrived with our takeaway instead of paying extra to order there. The lobby used to be such a nice place to sit after a meal and people watch and chat, now there no background music and no atmosphere. We've been going there for year and years but this was the first time I left feeling like I wouldn't be bothered returning. We celebrated our wedding there year ago, something I wouldn't do now.
My husband and I had our wedding here recently and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The staff are extremely experienced and did everything we asked and more. We really couldn’t recommend here more. Our guests have commented on the super venue and were extremely impressed with the meal. Thank you hotel Kilmore.
Cleanness, friendly staff. The grounds
5 mins from shops/ cinema. Food delivery great. 20 mins from Warrenpoint - ulster Fleadh
All good
I have been a customer for dining for years as I live locally, it was always the go to place for good quality food and hospitality. I was there yesterday as a party of 4 for lunch and the food was simply dreadful. 2 were sent back as they were cold on arrival, mine was fish which was like leather I didn’t complain as I was in company. As always the staff are delightful and it is just a huge disappointment to the area that the quality of food has reduced so much. This isn’t my first bad experience since the take over but not my first bad experience over recent months. The Kilmore is no longer my go to place for a good bite to eat which as a local disappoints me so much. It has been the root of our community for years, sorry but while your staff are among the best whatever changes you have made to the kitchen and food quality needs to be reviewed. Too much of an obvious change from new owners
Breakfast was delicious for but cousin asked fir her bacon and sausage to be well cooked unfortunately it wasn’t she was very disappointed
Lovely hotel on the outside, fountain and grounds great for wedding photos. Foyer and restaurants nicely decorated. Staff friendly. Stayed 1 night, spacious king room. Modern shower room. Very low sink with ceiling height mirror which is definitely very awkward for cleaning. Room temp 26.5, stifling and no way of lowering the heat made for an uncomfotable night. Bed and pillows very hard. Ate is bar restaurant. Hit & miss. Salmon dish good. Steaks very tough and sinewy. When mentioned this staff offered free desert which was kind but would just have preferred better quality meat. Breakfast was not a great experience. Good selection of fresh fruits and cereals. Make your own tea, coffee and toast. Coffee machine makes 12 oz cappuchino in a small cup/mug so constant waste of contents. Fried food unacceptable standard. All done in deep fat except the bacon which was tasty. Overcooked and greasy sausages and pudding. The boxty was disgraceful, deep fried and inedible. A good local product ruined. €294 for b&b, overpriced, but if room could be cooled and food quality improved no objection to paying high price.

I was here for a meeting and went for lunch in the bar, I was asked would I like to see the menu and within a minute, I had just enough time to skim the menus I was asked if I was ready to order, it wasn't even busy there were 2 or 3 other tables. I ordered the lamb stew and the nicest part of it was the mash, the lamb was pale and seemed to be cut from a roast joint instead of seared in a pan, the broth was very watery and there was broccoli in the stew which I've never seen before. I was never given a spoon and when I was going to ask for one to finish my meal I was asked if I was finished? I had had enough at that point and just said yes. I was thinking the English group across from me were being served better but then when they asked for a dish with a sauce on the side they were told while the waitress was walking off "I will see if its possible" but the way it was said was as if it was a huge inconvenience just for a side of sauce. I came back for a pint after my business was finished, the Guinness was nice and my service was quick but a gentleman beside me was complaining he had been standing there for 5 minutes before being served and was then asked abruptly and without an apology "what do you want?" I will say the night porter was helpful in the morning with directions to the meeting room.
We liked everything, location, grounds, parking, reception, staff, bedroom, en suite, dining, we could not fault.
Nothing, absolutely nothing.
Breakfast excellent with good selection available and speedy and friendly service. Location ideal adjacent to major road junction - good for early road advice.
Nothing negative to report - looking forward to next stay when possible. As we are now “senior citizens” will be hoping for some offers being made for short stay breaks in future
Love everything, room, staff absolutely brilliant, from housekeeping reception and restaurant nothing was to much trouble and were always pleasant
Check in very efficient, Restaurant/Bar staff very good. Very clean, well run Hotel.

Hotel is a bit of town but I knew then it was going be nice and quiet. Hotel is beautiful the grounds are stunning there,is a,couple of places to sit outside or the couple of benches down by waterfall. Hotel is beautiful nice big sofas and chairs to sit on and people watch bar area is beautiful .Staff are great go beyond to help it was my birthday and they had lovely cake for me i honestly can't wait to return .food beautiful ❤️
Beautiful surroundings, very close to lots of places but for us the cherry on top is just being able to let the children go out and be able to sit on the patio not having to have them in eyesight every second. House is fantastic, has everything you could possibly need. Will definitely keep coming back
Wasn't anything we didn't like
This hotel is a 10/10 for me, so clean and well presented.
The staff, from reception to the bar and at breakfast, were so lovely and friendly. They were the best part of the stay. The bathroom in my room was very nice too.
Decor is a little dated in the main areas.
