Reviewed Sep 11, 2026We had the chance to see the Northern Lights on our very first night. The location is amazing and we could enjoy the Northern Lights without paying extra for a tour. The view by the river is beautiful, and we especially loved the autumn colors during our 3-night stay.
There was nothing we didn't like. Everything was very peaceful and relaxing.

Reviewed Aug 25, 2026La ubicación es muy bonita junto al río, fuera del centro de Rovaniemi. Muy conveniente si viajas con coche. Si no tienes coche, el anfitrión ofrece transporte al centro y al aeropuerto por una tarifa. El apartamento está bien amueblado y con todas la comodidades, incluida una sauna. Fue una pena que lloviese, nos habría gustado ver auroras y aprovechar la barbacoa.
Estuvo todo bien. Simplemente como posible mejora para el anfitrión, estaría bien poner una mosquitera en la puerta del porche trasero que da al río, igual que la que hay en la entrada principal.

Majoituksessa oli kaikki tarvittavat välineet mukavaan oleiluun ja sekä sisään, että ulos kirjautuminen oli helppoa ja vaivatonta. Meillä oli käytössä oma auto ja tämä oli sopivan matkan päässä kaikista palveluista ja aktiviteeteista.

The houses have a bedroom, bathroom with sauna, living room with kitchen (and sofa that can be turned into a bed) and a veranda. We had a veranda overlooking a river. It is possible to use a jetty to climb into the water. Sauna <> water is what we did every day :) It is possible to rent a boat and bikes. We were given a grill and could do a BBQ on our veranda. It is very very quiet and green (in summer). The kitchen was fully equipped, there is a washing machine with detergent provided by the host.

Possibilità di fare il bagno nel fiume davanti casa e di fare la sauna comodamente in appartamento. Zona silenziosa e tranquilla a pochissima distanza dal centro città.

Reviewed Jun 28, 2026Prima rustige locatie, mooi gelegen langs het water. Kamer is compleet met wat je nodig hebt. Vriendelijke beheerder en fietsen zijn hier beschikbaar.
Bedden zijn wat smal voor Europeanen en lig comfort had beter gekund. De wasmachine werkt prima maar maakt veel lawaai.

Clean. Host Tahir is very helpful and kind. Fully recommend this accommodation and would be happy to return.

Las situación es excepcional a 7 km del centro de Rovaniemi y entre dos rios, las visibilidad es excelente para ver Auroras, de hecho vimos una impresionante desde las puertas del apartamento. Los apartamentos son impecables, bien surtidos, limpios, amplios y completos, en definitiva el apartamento es una maravilla. El anfitrión, amable, encantador y dispuesto a lo que sea para que te sientas como en tu casa. De 0 a 10 al Artic Resort le pondría un 11. Si volvemos a Rovaniemi volveremos al Arctic Resort sin pensarlo dos veces .!!!
Que solo nos pudimos quedar una noche porque se acababan las vacaciones , me habría quedado una semana !!!!.

Reviewed Apr 6, 2026Muy buena ubicacion, paisaje muy bonito en una zona residencial de casas al lado del rio. Pudimos ver las auroras desde el propio alojamiento, Tahir nos avisó cuando aparecieron. Sin duda repetiríamos. Los niños se divirtieron mucho jugando fuera con los trineos disponibles y en el pequeño parque infantil.

Inside, it has everything you need; the bed is very comfortable, and everything is well maintained and spotless. We were also incredibly lucky to see the Northern Lights right outside the apartment — they were even visible from the terrace and through the large living room windows. We wish we could have stayed more nights; we would absolutely love to come back here if we ever return to Rovaniemi. We 100% recommend it.

The towels were very stiff and scratchy. No matter what I tried I couldn’t get them softer.

Reviewed Mar 17, 2026Location is perfeccctt, we were unlucky for the cloudy conditions but even first night with clouds changing locations with wind we were able to see some northern lights. Since house just looks at a big lake and forest it was complete dark so I think it is the best place to stay. Just 10 minutes to santa claus village, airport and city center. If you dont have a car Tahir can arrange services with good prices. And this is a small family bussiness, Tahir was very responsive and helpful to us

Reviewed Feb 9, 2026Excellent location away from the built up area, but only 10 minutes drive to the city centre and 5 minute to supermarkets. Property was well equipped, very clean and tidy with a very cosy feel and ample parking.
only minor niggles, but the main bedroom is rather small and comes with a matching small duvet. Also would advise fitting an oven alongside the induction hob.

The area is out of town but that makes it quiet and dark if you want to look at the sky in peace and enjoy the fresh air. There is also a good sauna down the road to dup yourself in ice water.
