Despite booking a double room there was only one set of towels. We had to phone to get another set sent over. Which arrived very quickly. We were asked if we would like more drinks. "Same again?". "Yes please". They never arrived. We had to go to the bar or order ourselves. We were never offered the dessert menu. I might have been tempted, but couldn't be bothered to go and ask for a menu. No bacon for breakfast, but I did get an extra sausage.

No hot water in the shower,it was lukewarm at best.

I found the bed very firm and uncomfortable There's a factory over the road that has a generator/ fans that run through the night. It's possible to ignore when the windows are closed, but when they are open it's too loud to sleep, so you have to have the windows closed at night.

Dinner was ok pretty standard.We found the breakfast was disappointing some parts were very oily like the potato scone was soaked.But over all we were happy with the experience.

Luck of fringe in the room. Would be apprieciate in a hot days. AC was didn't work as it should. Room was too warm as you cannot open windows (Just 2 cm).

Air con was broken so we didn’t sleep at all. By the time we were back from our event the pub where you get your key card was shut so we didn’t have anyone to speak to about it. Had a horrendous night of no sleep, the windows do not open more than an inch either.

Reviewed Jun 23, 2026The staff were friendly and gave a good welcome. The breakfast was nice, I had full Scottish. The hot water ran out while I was trying to make tea, the lady came straight out to top the water up and went out her way to bring me a pot of fresh tea so I was not waiting, very considerate.
When i checked in online it came up with a standard room despite the fact I had paid for an upgrade to a family room online some weeks before. I have reached out but to no avail, so in short I have overpaid for a standard room. I was offered a receipt on leaving but I declined as I expected to get one electronic, again I have messaged for this but like the overpayment I have had no response.

Room was dirty, areas not been dusted in a long time, informed staff that the fan in the bathroom was running all the time, answer - yes we know it's been reported. Why rent a room out if you know it's faulty and don't even inform or apologise to your customer, very very disappointing stay and customer service terrible

The single beds were the narrowest we have ever experienced, and very hard. The pillows were flat as pancakes!🤣

Reviewed May 27, 2026Perfektní pokoj s dostatkem prostoru a klidem pro spaní. Ubytování bylo skvělé. Přilehlá restaurace je podle mě spíše průměrná a nesplnila moje očekávání.
Nabídka kávy byla naprosto nedostačující a obsluha mě poslala si dát instantní kávu. To je v dnešní době žalostné.

Reviewed May 19, 2026Friendly staff and a good location for us to visit nearby relatives. Staff were very caring when one of us felt unwell. Lovely ladies cleaning the rooms who gave us some extra teabags.
There were a few maintenance issues in the room that needed addressing such as bedside light not working, the insecure wardrobe rail, the loose plug on the hairdryer and one of the entry keys was ineffective. Also some issues with the door lock. However, this did not stop us enjoying our stay and appreciating the good value for money and wonderful staff.

Continental was not consistent, some days items were there some days not e.g. fruit yoghurt seem to run out of things a lot on the dinner menu. Dinner quality was average, Thai curry was just above luke warm. Beef Chilli was mostly tortilla chips, very little chilli. Cheese onion sandwich poor for the money

Room temperature was very comfortable. Plenty of electrical sockets, so I was able to charge my phone overnight by the bed.
The bed was a little hard.
