Ce logement était agréable ! Nous y avons passé deux nuits. Malgré sa situation centrale, il était calme. Le lit était confortable, et même sans climatisation, la chambre restait fraîche grâce à une moustiquaire. À seulement sept minutes du centre-ville, c’était très pratique, notamment pour visiter le pont de neuf arches et le mini Adam’s Peak. Nous sommes arrivés tôt et la chambre était déjà prête. Cependant, la salle de bain était très humide malgré la ventilation, ce qui rendait le séchage des serviettes difficile et favorisait la prolifération de petits papillons.

Todo fue un gran descubrimiento. El alojamiento era chulísimo y las habitaciones cumplían con lo esperado. Las camas eran super cómodas y el personal muy agradable. Nos enviaron recomendaciones y lugares para visitar nada más llegar. El desayuno estaba riquísimo y cambiaba de un día para otro.

Si en un futuro añaden una piscina, entonces sería un 12/10!

Das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit, das Frühstück sehr lecker. Von hier aus kann man gut die Brücke und Adams Peak erwandern. Sehr zu empfehlen. Etwas ausserhalb von Ella, daher etwas ruhiger. Sehr kinderfreundlich.

Un lugar tranquilo y ajeno al jaleo de Ella pero cerca de todos los sitios de interés.( A 5 minutos andando del centro) La habitación familiar es amplia y cómoda, los desayunos muy completos y ricos y el personal es muy agradable.

Oprecht alles aan het verblijf was perfect! Het personeel was vriendelijk en attent, de locatie is erg goed gelegen en de kamers waren brandschoon! Wij raden dit hotel dan ook zeker aan!

La ubicación para nuestros planes ha sido perfecta. El desayuno EXCELENTE, en variedad, calidad y cantidad. El personal es amable. Nuestra habitación estaba en la planta baja y tenía mesa y sillones fuera que utilizamos con gusto. Para mejorar diríamos que el baño estaba un poco viejito. La cama nos ha resultado muy cómoda.

Die schattige Terrasse war toll zum relaxen. Wir konnten viele Vögel beobachten. Ruhige Lage. Per WhatsApp wurden vom Manager viele nützliche Infos zum Aufenthalt gesendet. Er hat uns einen sehr guten Transfer nach Ella organisiert.

In der Nachbarschaft gibt es viele Hunde, welche in der Nacht bellten. Beim Frühstück (sehr abwechslungsreich) hätten wir uns mehr Obst gewünscht.

La camera era molto accogliente, la pulizia e l'attenzione da parte dello staff. La colazione molto abbondante e buonissima.

Un lugar estupendo para relajarse tranquilamente, sin el ruido de la calle principal. La habitacion amplia y comoda, el desayuno estupendo, los encargados muy atentos y amables...una estacia genial. Está a tan solo 10 minutos caminando del centro del pueblo, dando un pequeño y seguro paseo. Lo recomiendo.

We had a wonderful time at 7 Minutes! Our hosts were so very kind and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious! The room was very spacious, which was excellent because we needed to unpack/repack the room. It was also a really good temperature in the room, and the fact that the windows opened was a bonus. I loved my stay here! (Also, a tip for access - it is easier to walk/drive to the property if you follow along the main road north to Sapumaltenna Road)

Los chicos que lo regentan son muy amables , me cambio a una superior a las habitaciones de arriba porque la de la planta de abajo olía un poco a humedad. El desayuno es muy bueno sobre todo la tortilla francesa !!!!

Friendly and attentive staff. The room was very nice and clean and the breakfast was lovely. Location is walking distance to town, and also the pathways to the nine arch bridge & little Adam’s peak so you don’t really need a scooter for those journeys.

The water in the shower was either cold or boiling hot with no possibility of anything in between, meaning you had to only use the cold.

Downstairs rooms front onto a seating area which can be a bit noisy and cigarette smoke permeated into our room. A no smoking policy or a designated smoking area away from rooms would be a good idea

Je commencerai par remercier nos hôtes pour la sympathie et les attentions à notre égard. (Mise en place d’une télévision pour la coupe du monde, café, thé , apéritif sri lankais offert) Nous voyageons depuis 4 mois, c’est la première fois que nous nous sentons comme à la maison. Chambre grande, PROPRE et proposée avant le Check in de base. L’emplacement est top et le petit déjeuner était super ! Une ambiance chill, bref tout était parfait, j’ai vraiment eu un pincement au cœur en quittant ce lieu. Merci encore à vous pour cette expérience. Adeline et Mika ✨

The location, staff and value of this property are all fantastic. This hotel had just changed owners when we stayed. The new owners are incredibly friendly and helpful. The family room was spacious and very comfortable. There is a very comfortable sitting area on the first floor which was a lovely place for a cuppa. We would stay here again with our three children (10, 8 and 6)

It got a little stuffy one night however the staff happily provided us with a fan and it was perfect.

Un hotel precioso, cómodo y limpio. Nos instalamos en una habitación en el piso de arriba, con dos camas grandes, mucho sitio en la habitación y el baño estaba perfecto. El desayuno riquísimo y el personal era muy atento y encantador. Estuvieron toda nuestra estancia muy pendientes de nosotras, por si necesitabamos cualquier cosa. Además nos proporcionaron un coche a buen precio para llevarnos hasta Tissamaharama. La ubicación es perfecta, esta a unos 20 minutos andando de el puente de los 9 arcos y ademas cerca del centro de Ella.

Wir haben uns rundherum wohlgefühlt. Leckeres Frühstück, sauberes Zimmer und ein bequemes Bett:)

У нас был отличный номер с тремя двухспальными кроватями.Очень удобные матрасы,хорошее белье,достаточно мест чтобы разложить вещи и полноценный холодильник.Горячая вода есть,чуть слабее напор чем холодной.Отличные,доброжелательные хозяева.Несмотря на разные языке(мы вообще не знаем английский) все прошло без проблем. Близко к мосту и малому пику Адама,нам очень понравилось гулять там

Вид на горы очень условный,деревья загораживают его.Но нам это не нужно было.Еще,когда ночью кто-то идёт в туалет,просыпаются все- потому что стекло на двери пропускает свет из туалета.Но в целом,это отличный отель!

Shirley was an absolute star**** From the minute we got there, to arranging breakfasts and helping with onward transport arrangements when we couldn't understand the local dialect. He also arranged for a tuk tuk to a nearby Catholic Church in the next town which had Mass in English! The driver waited until the Mass was over and brought us back safely to home base. The property is perfectly located, away from the hustle and bustle of the main road, though it is close enough to walk to with your luggage in tow and catch your next bus. It is also close to all the main attractions including 9 arches and little Adams peak. We even got a load of washing done at the property for a reasonable fee.

No shower curtain, so things got splashy, but nothing we couldn't handle.

Really enjoyed our stay at New Blue Home. Very comfortable and spacious room with great bathroom. Really lovely and accommodating staff who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and helped us with arranging taxis, etc. Even sorted out our laundry for us making it a very easy process. Nice breakfast each morning with fresh fruit. Only 10 min walk into main Ella area. Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay.

Wifi could be a bit weak at times and as we are reliant on this for planning our travels, this could be frustrating but certainly did not impact our stay much and we would happily stay here again!!

Tolle Unterkunft mit super Ausstattung! Das Zimmer war definitiv eines der besten unserer Reise. Die Lage ist etwas entfernt von Zentrum, was für uns aber eher ein Vorteil war, da es dadurch sehr ruhig und angenehm war. Shirley ist ein hervorragender Gastgeber, der jeden Wunsch erfüllt und sehr hilfsbereit ist! Das Frühstück war auch top!

A bit away from the centre.

This was an amazing place to stay. The location is excellent just 10 minutes from the main area of Ella, giving you a perfect quiet place close by. The room was beautiful and very clean, breakfast was excellent, and Shirley was very helpful with recommendations of things to do during our stay. We also got laundry done here and it came back in perfect condition and smelling amazing.

Très bon rapport qualité/prix. Hotel au centre de Ella mais au calme. Chambre très simple mais tout y était. Très bon petit déjeuner. Merci à Sherley pour ses conseils !! Il nous a trouvé scooter et taxi, nous a bien conseillé sur les endroits à faire autour de Ella. Nous avons visité la plantation de thé Uva Halpewatte. A faire et à 15 minutes de l'hotel en scooter ou tuktuk. Nous recommandons vivement cet hotel.

we stayed here 2 nights. They welcomed us with juices. Place was very clean, we had a fridge in the room and a kettle, and a hairdryer. Breakfast was good. It is nice and quiet surroundings. The only thing that I personally didn't like was that above windows and doors, are openings with net (no glass), so you can hear everything from outside, like some people talking loudly on the phone while I try to put my child to sleep...but if I was alone, it wouldn't bother me. I would still recommend this place. There is also a fan in the room, no AC, but you don't need AC because its coldish inside (because of the openings above windows, and the room is always airy, which is good). Good thing is that it's 15 min walk to center of Ella, and a 5min walk to beginning of trail for the Nine arch bridge, and 20min walk to beginning of trail for Little Adams peak. Why I say walk, because pickme app doesn't really work in Ella, and tuktuk on the street charge a lot more then in other places, so it's good option that you can walk.

Super schönes Zimmer mit Blick auf die Berge. Frühstück war einfach, aber vollkommen ausreichend, der Kaffee etwas zu leicht. Aber es wurde pünktlich wie abgesprochen serviert. Ich komme gerne wieder! Sehr nettes und hilfsbereites Personal!

Good location, tucked away from the busy Main Street. Room is extremely clean and spacious, bed is super comfortable. The breakfast is also delicious and always filled me up for most of the day! Shirley, who runs the property for the owner, is extremely kind and helpful. He drove me to Ella Rock on his bike because I said I was tired and didn’t fancy doing the long walk.

Grande chambre, bien équipée, avec un grand lit confortable. Bonne situation dans une rue calme et à proximité à pied du centre ville. On a pu louer un scooter sur place pour nous promener dans les environs 🤩. Bon petit déjeuner, servi sur la terrasse avec vue sur les écureuils qui gambadent dans les arbres : 2 œufs, toasts, assiette de fruits. Accueil sympathique.

Property is clean, they even have hair dryer 👌🏻 Location is nice, it is little bit in hill which mean it is more calm during night. They serve nice sri lankan breakfast. Shirley was a nice host, answering to all our questions and helping us. Definitely I would recommend it.

Die Unterkunft ist richtig schön und vor allem sehr sauber. Das Frühstück ist umfangreich und schmeckt toll. Auch die Lage fanden wir super. Toll als Startpunkt für die Nine Arch Bridge und Little Adams Peak. Die Stadt ist in ca 10 Minuten leicht zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Seele der Unterkunft ist aber dennoch definitiv Shirley. Ohne ihn wäre sie nicht dieselbe! Auch wenn ich mich 20 mal umentschieden habe, war er stets sehr geduldig und hat mir geholfen, meine Reisepläne zu verwirklichen. Er organisiert einem immer alles, völlig egal, worum man ihn bittet. Bitte mach weiter so!

Great location, walking distance from restaurants en bars in Ella centre. Very peaceful and quiet. Shirley is a truly amazing host. He helped with everything and made our stay perfect. Breakfast is wonderful, right in the middle of nature. Note that it's great, but there's no mountain view. Rooms are spacious, there's hot water. Very decent accommodation, basic stay, value for money

The rooms were clean and great, the host is really nice. He provides a tuktuk for a better price than Pickme. He made us tea when requested and also helped us plan our days in Ella and recommended restaurants. He is always there if you need help and guidance, or just somebody to talk to and pass the time with.

Nous avons tout aimé de cet établissement. La localisation idéale pour nous. Tout se fait à pied. Nine Arches bridge, Little Adam’s Peak, centre ville, supérette pour l’eau… L’accueil au top avec Shirley aux commandes qui fait tourner l’hôtel et qui est toujours disponible. Nous avons loué en dernière minute des scooters pour le lendemain, ils nous les a trouvés. Un super rapport qualité/prix. Nous le conseillons vivement pour les personnes qui recherchent un logement de ce budget.

Shiley is incredibly kind, helpful, and respectful. She welcomed us very warmly. The cold towel and freshly squeezed fruit gesture was very nice. She asked about our plans every day and gave us information about places to visit. Our room was clean, tidy, and had all the amenities we could want. Breakfast was filling and delicious.

European tourists can behave disrespectfully toward other guests when renting a room for a few days, acting as if they have bought the entire hotel, shouting, laughing, and making noise. This is a very unfortunate situation. If you don't know how to stay in such quiet, peaceful family-run establishments, please stay in hostels. Asians are very polite and kind, so they find it difficult to take measures against your disrespectful behavior.

La struttura è ben tenuta, pulita, con stanze molto ampie e in un’ottima posizione per vendere qualche attrazione locale e visitare il centro di Ella senza per forza usare un mezzo di trasporto.

La habitación, la amabilidad, el lugar… nos gustó todo!!! Yo tuve un problema de espalda y me ayudaron muchísimo. Solo puedo decir que han sido de una amabilidad fuera de lo normal.

Ottima struttura, posto strategico lontano dal caos del centro di ella ma allo stesso tempo facilmente raggiungibile a piedi. Shirley è stato carinissimo, ci ha accolte molto bene e ci ha aiutato ad organizzare diversi spostamenti. Grazie di tutto

Cristalera de cierre de la habitación, alfombra de la entrada a la habitación (mejor quitarla,hacia a sucia,y el suelo estaba limpio). No salía agua caliente.

Las habitaciones están muy bien, son espaciosas y limpias. Y la casa es preciosa. Además está cerca del centro, pero sin las molestias del ruido. Aunque lo principal es el servicio y amabilidad de Shirley pendiente de ayudarte en todo momento. El desayuno también estaba muy bien y completo.. Volveríamos sin dudarlo!

Buona posizione, a pochi minuti a piedi dal centro del paese con tanta offerta di locali e ristoranti. Ottima disponibilità del personale (Shirley ci ha preparato la colazione take away alle 4 di notte, il giorno della nostra gita a un safari, e alle 6 di mattina il giorno della partenza in treno). Sempre molto gentile e disponibile.

Everything about our stay was great. The rooms were spacious, breakfast was very good, and the surrounding area was lovely. The host was extremely kind and welcoming.

The only downside was that the bathrooms had no shower curtains, so water spilled everywhere during showers. Other than that, it was a very enjoyable stay.
