Esperienza fantastica! Obey è stato disponibile, attento, gentile sempre! Era il mio compleanno e mi ha fatto trovare torta e fiori a colazione. E l’ultimo giorno ci ha anche regalato degli snack ed acqua per il viaggio. Consigliatissimo!

E' una guesthouse accogliente, pulita, in ottima posizione e soprattutto gestita da un host (Obey) gentile, premuroso e sempre disponibile. Ci ha coccolati da quando siamo arrivati, la sua presenza discreta ma costante è stata per noi utile e ha aggiunto valore al nostro soggiorno dandoci ottimi consigli. L'attenzione anche ai piccoli dettagli ti fa sentire più di un ospite. La colazione "su misura" abbondante e di qualità è stata il modo migliore per iniziare le nostre giornate!

Zeer mooie nette accommodatie in het midden van Ella. Ze ligt wel net in een rustigere straat. Mooie ruime kamer. De eigenaar is heel vriendelijk, behulpzaam en zorgde voor een fantastisch, lekker ontbijt ( wij hebben expliciet een klein ontbijt gevraagd)!

Alles was goed. Hou er rekening mee dat Ella een toeristisch dorp is waar veel (ook jongere) samen mensen zijn, dit zorgt voor avondlawaai. Oordopjes en je slaapt heerlijk!

This was a great place to stay for a night in Ella. Perfect location away from the noise of the main street, but a quick walk anywhere you’d want to go. Room and bathroom were spacious and clean and well maintained. And AC strong! The best part of the hotel are the owners who were incredibly kind, welcoming and caring. Breakfast was also delicious!! Highly recommend.

Our second stay here and it was just as wonderful as the first. After a trip away, it was great to return to the comfort and friendliness of Ella Moon Rock. The host was fantastic, with his charming Sri Lankan hospitality.

Obey was absolutely delightful. He couldn’t do enough to make our stay a happy one. Breakfast was fantastic. Room had everything we needed.

The shower has very intermittent flow but I think this is the area not necessarily just this place.

Bien située à deux pas de la rue principale Le propriétaire et sa femme sont très agréables et serviables, je recommande Lits confortables, les murs sont fins mais on arrive à bien dormir malgré tout :)

Lovely room, which looked brand new, very well decorated and clean. The host was very kind. The breakfast was excellent.

We had a great 2 night stay at Ella moon rock. The rooms were very clean, comfy bed and a modern bathroom with amenities. The breakfast was one of the best of our 1 month stay in Sri Lanka, great quality and delicious. The host was the friendliest we have met too! He helped organise tuk tuk lifts, and our clothes washing, he even prepared us water and cookies for the ride home. Also the locations is just perfect for a short walk into town. Amazing ! 🤩

Party-Ort. Leider eine Laute Bar in der Nähe, daher bis morgens Musik zu hören.

Emplacement parfait! En retrait de la rue principale, tous les restaurants et bars sont juste à côté. Et en moins de 15 minutes à pied, vous avez le départ de la randonnée de Little's Asam Pick ainsi que la petite randonnée pour aller voir 9 Arche Bridge. Obey et sa femme sont extrêmement gentils, ils sont vraiment aux petits soins pour tout! Petites bouteilles d'eau et petits gâteaux pour les sorties. Ils organisent tout ce que l'on veut, chauffeur privé sortie en tuk tuk. Il a même une laverie sur place. La chambre est incroyable, il y a tout le confort nécessaire, bouilloire thé café, climatisation, wifi impeccable, eau chaude, sèche-cheveux. Les lits sont très confortables. La femme d'Obey cuisine des petits déjeuners vraiment excellent et très copieux! Pour ce qui est des restaurants le soir, ils sont de très bons conseils également. Nous y avons dormi 2 nuits avec notre fils de 5 ans, si la durée du voyage nous l'avait permis nous serions restés bien plus longtemps.

We had a great stay at Ella Moon Rock. The room was spacious and very clean. Obey the Owner was very helpful, attentive and always available. He cooked a fabulous breakfast, the best we had in Sri Lanka. He also assisted with transport to our next destination and our laundry The room is located not far from the main road but a nice quiet area.

Obey is an excellent host providing high quality rooms in a good location far enough away from the main street to be relaxing but not so far that it's inconvenient - it's a short walk to the main street and it's a little closer to little Adam's peak and the nine arch bridge walks. Obey is very attentive and does a very nice breakfast. You can also get your laundry done quickly while you stay. There are some very nice restaurants and cafes around the hotel as well. Plenty of towels was an added benefit.

Not a lot we didn't like! The squirrels can be quite noisy on the roof, but it wasn't a major problem for us.

Ich habe eine Unterkunft direkt in Ella gesucht, damit der Ortskern in Laufweite ist. Daher ist die Unterkunft perfekt. Das Zimmer war superschön mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Der Hotelmanager ist der Hammer, er ist super nett, fragt regelmässig nach Extrawünschen. Ich habe mich dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Frühstück war das Beste während meiner Reise. Auch hier ging der Hotelmanager gerne auf meine Wünsche ein. Ich komme gerne wieder.

Da fällt mir nichts ein.

Die Unterkunft ist 100 Prozent zum Empfehlen .Der Obi und seine Frau sind super nett und sehr hilfsbereit. Die Lage ist super um Ella und die Umgebung zu Erkunden in wenigen Minuten erreicht man das Zentrum und wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten.

Very kind and responsively helpful host assisting us with comfort and car ride arrangement with a friendly price. They provide very spacious and nicely clean rooms in a peaceful center area in Ella. המיקום שהיה 7 דקות הליכה ממרכז העיירה, ארוחת הבוקר הנפלאה, איש הצוות ABE שהיה מקסים, המיטה נוחה והחדר נקי באופן כללי.

החדר בלי טלוויזיה וכספת- ממש לא סטנדרטי למלון 4 כוכבים, הריהוט מיושן, אין מספיק שקעי חשמל. זרם המים בחדר אמבטיה משתנה כל הזמן.

暖かいもてなしを感じホッとしました。 キャンディまでのタクシーの手配も、途中寄り道のリクエストも多く心配でしたが、親身になって作り上げていただきました。 ナインアーチブリッヂまでも街の中心にも余裕で歩けるし、その割には静かな環境でとても満足度しました。朝食も楽しめました。 機会が有れば是非また泊まります。 他の方にもおすすめします。

Wi-Fiが少し弱い点が気になりました。

Wonderful, kind, and very welcoming owner. Convenient location that is walking distance to lots of restaurants and shopping. The room was very clean and we enjoyed out stay a lot. Wished we could have stayed longer than 1 night. Delicious breakfast and it was a lot of food! When we departed, the owner surprised us with snacks and water for our long car ride to our next destination. He also helped us arrange a great tuk tuk driver while we were in Ella. Highly recommend this place!

Очень гостеприимный и внимательный хозяин! Номера маленькие, но уютные, в европейском стиле. Много приятных мелочей. Вещи после стирки вернули в свернутом, отсортированном и аккуратно упакованном состоянии. Завтрак - супер! Плюс дали с собой воду в дорогу.

Втроем в номере было тесновато, вид из окна не впечатлил. Музыка и шум из соседних заведений вечером, но ночью тихо.

Siamo rimasti piacevolmente sorpresi dall' accoglienza e dalla camera fornita di tutto, c'era anche il purificatore d'aria oltre al condizionatore e la ventola. Ottima la colazione molto abbondante. Molto buona posizione vicino alla strada principale

Camera nuova e pulita. Il proprietario Obey davvero gentile, disponibile e ci ha riempito di mangiare squisito sia per la colazione sia quando siamo andate via per il viaggio. Lo consiglierò a tutti.

La doccia nuovissima, ma scivolosa.

Ci sono stato solo una notte e mi è sembrato un ottimo posto dove alloggiare anche per più giorni. Il proprietario è stato molto disponibile e cordiale ottima pulizia e arredamento della stanza con un balconcino molto carino e comodo. Colazione molto abbondante e buona. Il proprietario gestisce anche una lavanderia all’interno della stessa struttura quindi comodo se si vuole fare un lavaggio veloce in giornata della propria roba. La cosa migliore però è la posizione, la struttura è letteralmente a due minuti a piedi dal centro di Ella. Forse è questo il dettaglio che fa salire un po’ il prezzo, ma ne vale la pena.

Quasi nulla. Solo Prezzo leggermente più alto della media degli hotel in tutto lo Sri Lanka, ma comprensibile perché il Ella è molto turistica. E Poca flessibilità sugli orari della colazione che può essere effettuata in un arco temporale di circa un’ora e mezza. Un po’ scomodo se si vuole organizzare la giornata partendo molto presto.

Kleine Oase im quirligen Ella. Man kann alles zu Fuß erreichen (little adams peak, 9 arches bridge etc) und es liegt trotzdem ruhig in einer Seitenstraße. Ein ganz lieber Gastgeber, der uns eine professionelle Massage organisiert hat und sogar kostenfrei das Tuk Tuk gestellt hat. Immer für alle Fragen und Anliegen erreichbar. Guter und günstiger Wäscheservice. Das Frühstück war der Wahnsinn. Wir empfehlen diese Unterkunft zu 100% weiter. Danke für alles, wir würden hier wieder buchen!!!

Lovely clean spacious room. Really close to bars and restaurants in Ella . Excellent breakfast. Mr Obey was so helpful and kind. He organised a day trip for us and a taxi for our onward journey. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone travelling to Ella.

Excellent service, very friendly host!

We really enjoyed the stay at Ella Moon Rock. The room was clean and well presented. It was equipped with a comfortable bed, tea making facilities, a small fridge, a sofa and TV with international channels. The room we stayed also had an additional wash basin, giving us more convenience. Obey and the team were very friendly, detail-oriented and helpful. The breakfasts had a good variety, generous portion and were tasty. Outstanding hospitality; highly recommended.

숙소 위치, 청결도, 친절도, 와이파이 속도 등 뭐 하나 빠지는거 없이 좋았습니다. 미리사까지 택시 회사를 이용해서 예약했는데 알고보니 이 숙소에서 제안하는 택시 가격이 더 저렴했습니다. 아침 식사도 푸짐하게 잘 나옵니다.

Per noi top, poi dipende da cosa si cerca. Un po’ fuori dal casino del centro, 5 minuti a piedi ma in una strada poco trafficata ma con altre strutture etc. Effettivamente forse durante la notte c’e staa un po’ di musica dall’ostello vicino ma noi viaggiamo sempre con i tappi quindi non ci ha dato fastidio. Effettivamente intorno hai qualche cantiere ma stando li 2 notti , uscendo al mattino e tornando la sera non ci ha dato fastidio. Camera spaziosa, pulita e con un bel bagno. Host super gentile e disponibile e colazione top.

Niente in particolare. Solo da essere preparati ai vari aspetti per gestire aspettativa ma per noi consigliassimo .

Great hosts. They gave us both umbrellas as we headed out because there was a chance of rain and they came in very handy! The room was well equipped including a mosquito repellent plug. They also provided a great Tuktuk driver for our stay in Ella and the breakfast was huge and very tasty!

Nice little hotel in the center of Ella. Our room was good size and comfy. Breakfast was tasty. Owners were lovely.

Unsere bisher beste Unterkunft in Sri Lanka! Die Gastgeber waren ausgesprochen freundlich, saubere Zimmer, tolles ausgiebiges Frühstück und tolle Hilfsbereitschaft. Das Hotel hat eine perfekte Lage - alles ist zu Fuß erreichbar, trotzdem hört man keinen Straßenlärm.

La struttura ed il personale in assoluto migliori di tutto il nostro viaggio. La camera veramente un livello superiore rispetto alla media del paese, già che aveva la coperta... il paradiso, e poi anche il doppio cuscino. Inoltre, c'era anche un comodissimo antibagno con lavandino. La colazione è sempre stata buonissima e super abbondante, ed è variata da un giorno all'altro, cosa assolutamente non scontata. Il gestore della struttura e sua moglie sono stati eccezionali, super gentili e simpatici. Se passate ad Ella dovete venire a soggiornare assolutamente qui.

Fantastyczne położenie obiektu, czysto, miło, na miejscu jest właściwie wszystko, czego potrzeba. Gorąca woda, suszarka, wygodne łóżko. Do centrum 2 min.

Kahvaltı çok güzeldi. Sabah Little Adam’s Peak’e çıkacağımızı söylediğimizde bize minik atıştırmalık ve su ikramları dahi oldu. Konumu çok güzel. 2-3 dakika yürüyerek merkeze iniyorsunuz. Oldukça sessiz ve konforlu bir konaklama yaşadık

Room was spacious and excellent. The breakfast was also really good. The owner was a really nice guy and even packed us a small lunch for our hike that day. Location also perfect. Highly recommend.

A great location and spacious room made even better by friendly hosts and delicious breakfast. It is in a very good location for Ella, very easy to get to all resturants and the main street while being quiet at night. The hosts were kind enough to even tailor breakfast to our likes, allowing us to try some traditional Sri Lankan meals.

Ein super Aufenthalt, abgesehen vom etwas schlechten Wetter. Der Hausherr Obej (hoffentlich richtig geschrieben) ist so in herzlicher Mensch. Hat uns gleich Tipos gegeben. Eine Laundry ist auch dabei, nutzen wir auch. Probiert zwingend das Sri Lanka Frühstück. Superlecker und wirklich mega grosse Portion. Nicht mal mit Unterstützung meines Mannes konnte ich das alles essen. Bei der Weiterfahrt hat er uns noch mit Proviant ausgestattet.

Gibt keinerlei Kritik. Kann nur empfohlen werden.

Sehr schöne und moderne Unterkunft. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker. Der Hotelbesitzer ist sehr sympathisch und gibt sich sehr viel Mühe seine Gäste glücklich zu machen.

The host speaks english well and is very accommodating. The A/C is effective and silent. The room comes with a fridge. The place is clean (apart from moldy bathroom corners which seems to be in every accommodation in Sri Lanka we stayed at).

We were on the top floor and when it started raining the sound was surprisingly loud. I could hear it through earplugs. The immediate houses around the property were being built when we were there so it didn't look as nice as other parts of Ella.

Everything about Obey's place was great - the rooms are big, comfortable and clean and the breakfast was amazing and fresh (and there's lots of it!) The location is also great, very close to the main streets in Ella and the bars and restaurants, and not too far (easily walkable) from the trail heads for Nine Arches Bridge and Little Adam's Peak. Obey and other staff are lovely and he even got us some water and snacks for our long drive back to the airport which was very sweet. A really great place to stay.

I saw a few reviews mention loud music from a nearby restaurant which is true but during our stay, it stopped long before it could disturb our sleep so wasn't ever a problem.

Een perfecte locatie als uitvalbasis in Ella. De host is supervriendelijk en gaf ons pakketjes mee als we niet konden aanschuiven aan het ontbijt. Hij hielp ons ook met ons te verzorgen na een beet van een bloedzuiger op wandeling. Alles is op wandelafstand van het verblijf.

Das Personal war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Frühstück war auch sehr lecker und frisch, sie haben auch extra vorher gefragt was man essen möchte.

Es war leider etwas feucht im Zimmer und wir hatten leider viele Ameisen im Zimmer. Der Inhaber kümmerte sich aber direkt darum.

Klein hotel op loopafstand van centrum Ella. Obey de eigenaar is zeer betrokken en behulpzaam. Ontbijt is super en in overvloed of het een Sri Lankaans of een Engels ontbijt is. Ook de laundry kan hier prima gedaan worden.

Ella is a noisy town. If you stay in the center, it’s not going to be quiet.

Ubicación estupenda, en el mismo pueblo cerca de todo, pero sin el bullicio de la calle principal. Habitaciones cómodas, personal INCREÍBLE, te ayudan en todo. Servicio de lavandería muy bueno. Y los desayunos espectaculares.
