Die Unterkunft liegt zentral in Ella und wir wurden herzlich begrüsst. Das Zimmer ist sauber und gemütlich. Wie genossen ein leckeres Frühstück auf dem Balkon des Hotels.

Das Zimmer ist für vier Personen eher etwas klein und verfügt über wenig Stauraum.

To arrive there are like 300 m steep walk but completely fine, just be aware of it.

Great location just off the main street, within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants. The owner is very friendly and eager to make sure his guests have a good stay. The bed was very comfortable, and we appreciated having tea and coffee-making facilities in the room. It was also easy to arrange laundry, and there’s a drying rack provided if you want to wash a few things yourself.

The shared balcony felt a little awkward when guests from the neighbouring room were using it at the same time. We think it would feel more private and relaxing if there was some kind of divider between the two seating areas. There’s no air conditioning, only a fan. We knew this when we booked, so it wasn’t a surprise, but Ella was warmer than we expected. Just something to be aware of if, like us, you’re not particularly used to the heat! There is also a fairly steep walk uphill from the main street to the property. We didn’t mind this, but it’s worth knowing if you’re not very “hill fit” or have mobility issues.

Alles, vriendelijke mensen, behulpzaam, heerlijk ontbijt. Middenin het centrum en toch geen last van de drukte en lawaai. We hadden de villa geboekt en dit was ook echt een fantastische kamer met de ruimte, bedden en keuken.

Tout était parfait, la chambre impeccable et le personnel aux petits soins. Un petit déjeuner remarquable et l’emplacement en plein centre ville.

Le toilette n’était pas fixé au sol et bougeait un peu. L’accès un peu difficile (montée raide)

It wasn’t clean at all, smelly pillows and used sheets.

Comfortable room and great breakfast. Located just a couple of mins from the main street of Ella, and my room had fantastic views of Ella rock. Would be very happy to stay here again!

Wifi barely worked and kept cutting out. Balcony was very different to the pictures and had no view, fence around balcony had old sheets of plastic blocking any view there would’ve been. Staff randomly approached us on one of our days asking us to pay, not at the start or end of our stay.

A great location in Ella, it is up a steep hill but only a minute to walk up it. At the bottom of the hill you are at the main area of Ella. The villa was a good size and had a nice outdoor area.

There was work on going when I stayed but I think this was only for the weekend and was during the day.

Very central location. Stuff was friendly.

Emplacement à l écart de la route mais très proche du centre avec resto, commerce etc. Nous avons rejoint le sommet d Adam"s peak en 1h de l hotel à pied. L hotel est propre et la chambre grande avec de grandes fenêtres pour profiter de la vue. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et est servi sur une terrasse individuelle devant la chambre. C est un hotel que je recommande

Excellent central location. Only ten minutes walk from the train station and two minutes to the centre of town. We had a family room, with 2 double beds and two queen beds on a mezzanine, it was big! Garden at the front for the kids to sit and play, kitchenette and good shower. The breakfast was a highlight, one of the best in Sri Lanka. This accommodation is excellent value for money would highly recommend.

We were very much in someone’s home. Although every was kind, accommodating and friendly.

Poomaz Peace Palace was cozy and comfortable, with a nice breakfast and easy access to town. Overall, it was a pleasant and convenient stay.

Kamer was prima en dichtbij het centrum. Personeel (of eigenaar?) Was erg vriendelijk en reageerde snel. Kamer was niet duur!

Uitzicht vanaf het balkon viel wat tegen, je keek vooral op gebouwen. Ook moesten we het balkon delen met andere gasten, wij hadden ook nog de pech dat deze andere gasten op het balkon gingen roken.

Trevligt rum med fin utsikt. Bra frukost och trevlig värd som också körde oss till Tissa på ett säkert sätt. Rekommenderas starkt

Sehr herzliche Gastgeber, eher privates Umfeld, macht es aber noch liebenswerter. Saubere Unterkunft nah am Geschehen und dennoch ruhig gelegen. Leckeres Frühstück einheimischer Natur :) Top Adresse.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was basic but comfortable. It was in a good location right near the main road in Ella so walkable to the main sights and the train station.

It sounded like a dog was running around on the roof of the room which was very loud. Some other guests woke me up twice in the middle of the night slamming doors and shouting. It was up a very steep hill which was difficult to walk up.

Hotel położony przy głównej ulicy. Trzeba podejść pod stromą górkę około 100 metrów. Warto wziąć tuk tuka bo podejście z walizkami to spore wyzwanie. Pyszne śniadania. Bardzo mili i pomocni właściciele.

There is only one bathroom in the villa room that will accommodate upto 6 people. Owner should consider adding one more bathroom for villa room with cleaning at least once a day. Currently bathroom is cleaned only once in three days which is not acceptable.

In Ella angekommen und dank dem freundlichen Empfang und der perfkten Lage sofort wohlgefühlt. Wir waren nur 1 Nacht, da Rund-Reise. Empfehlung wäre besser 2-3 Nächte für diese tolle Stadt samt Umgebung.

Wir hatten einen großartigen Aufenthalt und haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Auf all unsere Wünsche wurde flexibel und herzlich eingegangen – egal ob bei der Frühstückszeit oder speziellen Frühstückswünschen. Die Lage ist perfekt für alle, die mitten im Geschehen sein möchten, aber trotzdem ruhig und nicht direkt an der Hauptstraße wohnen wollen. Absolute Empfehlung!

Die Lage, ruhig und doch nur 3 Fussminuten von der Mainstreet entfernt. Wir hatten das Villazimmer, welches riesig war mit einer grossen Terrasse in einem schönen Garten. Das Personal war äusserst hilfsbereit und herzlich. Würde immer wieder hier herkommen.

This place gets a 10 out of 10 from me. Great location just off of the main street. The room is perfect, airy and light. Good views. Quiet. I was well looked after and the breakfast served on my balcony was delicious. Best place I have ever stayed in Ella.

Die Unterkunft war Mega. Die Lage mitten drin aber trotzdem ruhig gelegen da sie etwas abseits der Hauptstraße liegt. Wir waren super zufrieden mit allem! Sauberkeit, Lage, Komfort alles TOP

WENN ich etwas anmerken würde dann, dass leider kein kleines Licht vorhanden war, sodass wir immer das große ungemütliche anmachen mussten. Aber das kann man wirklich verkraften denn alles andere war super

Very noisy from the main street, shower took a very long time to get warm, breakfast could've been a bit more interesting. Generally an okay place, but I've stayed in better for less.

Super beliggenhet bare en liten gate ned til restaurantene og butikkene, men stille der oppe. Ligger litt oppover i en bakke. Ikke så langt fra togstasjonen 8 min. Nydelig frokost som ble servert på terrassen. Og vi hadde nydelig utsikt mot fjellet.

Very clean, comfortable beds, amazing location, walk round the corner to the Main Street but far enough away to not be noisy. Good local breakfast served on the terrace outside our room at a time we could choose, which was a nice experience.

Nous avons passé 3 nuits dans cet super hôtel ! Nous avons été très bien accueilli, les hôtes sont serviables et toujours disponible. Nous avons pu laver nos vêtements (déposer le matin et rendu le soir même). La chambre ainsi que la salle de bain sont spacieuses avec un balcon ou prendre le petit déjeuner. L’emplacement est idéal. Nous avons passé un super séjour, je recommande !

Obiekt w samym centrum miasta ale w bocznej ulicy, 2 minuty do restauracji, sklepów, 10 minut na pociąg. Na przeciwko droga na most i Adams pick 20-30 minut na szlak. Wspaniały widok z balkonu i pokoju na Ella rock-okno na całą ścianę. Bardzo czysto, lodówka, czajnik, herbata, kawa. Ostra górka na wejściu.

We boekte deze kamer als tussenstop en kozen voor deze kamer vooral voor het uitzicht sochtends. Mooi zicht over de Ella en met een goed ontbijt konden we hier ten volle van genieten.

De kamer was eerder basic, maar ruim voor onze trekkingsrugzakken. De badkamer konden we onvoldoende verluchten en vooral het niet kunnen openen van een raam zorgde voor een duffe, droge lucht in de kamer.

è lodevole utilizzare pannelli solari per riscaldare l'acqua, il problema è che l'acqua calda ci mette davvero tantissimo ad arrivare e questo costringe a fare doccia fredda o sprecare acqua. Leggero odore in bagno.

Die Unterkunft ist einen kleinen Hügel rauf von der Hauptstraße, also mitten im geschehen. Man kann von dort aus zu Fuß viel erreichen. Die Gastgeber sind super nett und hilfsbereit.

Abbiamo prenotato la struttura 20 minuti prima di arrivare, poiché abbiamo avuto un problema con la struttura precedentemente prenotata ed il cambio è stato sicuramente migliore! Il personale veramente gentile, la stanza spaziosa, pulita e molto comoda. Terrazzino (in condivisione) molto carino, con la vista sul centro della città. Vicino anche alle maggiori attrazioni di Ella.

Està situat al centre d’Ella, en un carreró empinat. Però suficientment tranquil com per no sentir el soroll de la ciutat a la nit. Correcte per dormir una nit. Sense més. El personal, amables, tenint en compte que els hem vist 1 minut pel check-in i 2 pel check-out i esmorzar. Càrrec extra si pagues amb targeta, però es habitual. Tot i que haurien de explicar-ho.

Molt senzill pel preu que pagues. Hem estat a llocs molt millors més bé de preu. Tenint en compte que Ella es car i que els hotels de luxe estan allunyats del centre, es una bona opció si et quedes una nit i no vols anar amb tuktuk amunt i avall.

Nos hicieron sentir como en casa. Todo muy limpio. Desayuno de 10. Repetiriamos sin dudarlo.
